1paramatma aur dharma-aatmaon ke kaarya mein mahaan antar
1The great difference between the task of God and those of the religious souls.
2om shanti।
2Om shanti.
3ham aatmaayen bahut puraani hain।
3We souls are very old.
4zaroor hai ki ham aatmaayen kab nai bhi theen।
4We souls were definitely new at some point.
5bhala aatma nai aur puraani kaise hoti hai?
5How can the soul be new or old?
6duniya to samajhti hai ki “aatma nyaari hai, na katti hai, na jalti hai। 7” aatma ka kisi bhi tarah vinaash nahin hota, kyonki immortal hai।
6The world understands that the soul is Unique, that it can neither be cut nor burnt, that the soul can never be destroyed in any way because it is immortal.
8” parantu ab hamne param aatma se jaana hai ki aatma immortal barobar hai।
7However, we now know from the Supreme Soul that the soul truly is immortal.
9shareer ko jalaate hain to aatma nikal jaati hai।
8They burn the body, but the soul has already left it.
10aatma apne karmon ke hisaab-kitaab anusaar doosra shareer lekar part bajaati hai।
9The soul takes another body according to its karmic actions and then plays its part.
11bhogne vaali aatma hai।
10It is the soul that experiences everything.
12aise nahin ki shareer bhogne jaata hai, shareer mein aatma bhogne jaati hai।
11The body doesn't experience anything. 12It is the soul that experiences everything through the body.
13karmon ka hisaab-kitaab aatma par lagta hai tab to aatma bhogne jaati hai।
13Karmic accounts are accumulated by the soul and this is why the .soul experiences everything.
14agar aatma nyaari hoti to bhogne kyoon jaati?
14If the soul were separate, why should it experience anything?
15duhkh-sukh aatma hi bhogti hai।
15It is the soul that experiences happiness or sorrow.
16to zaroor mail chadhi hui hai।
16So there must definitely be some dirt on the soul.
17ab aatma ko duhkh feel hota hai, to zaroor aatma ko poorn sukh-shanti ka bhi anubhav tha।
17The soul now experiences sorrow, and so it must definitely have previous experience of complete happiness and peace.
18usi samay aatmaayen bhi nai theen।
18At that time souls were new.
19ab puraani ban gai hain।
19Now they have become old.
20aatma ke oopar mail bhi anek janmon ki lagi hui hai, na ki ek janma ki।
20There is the dirt of many births on the soul, not just one birth.
21manushya jo kuchh vikarma karte hain uski bhogna bahut hai jo ek janma mein poori nahin ho sakti hai।
21Whatever sirlfuJ. actions human beings perform, they have to suffer a lot for them and this suffering cannot be finished in one birth.
22anek janmon ki mail chadhte-chadhte aatma ab antim stage par aakar pahunchi hai।
22Whilst accumulating the dirt of many births the soul has now reached the final stage.
23aisi tamoguni aatmaon ko phir svachchha banaane paramatma ko aana padta hai।
23God has to come to ·make such tamoguni souls clean and pure.
24५ bhooton ne hi is tamoguni avastha mein laaya hai।
24The five evil spirits have brought about this impure stage.
25pahle-pahle aatmaon ki sankhya bhi kam thi, phir vriddhi hoti gai।
25At first the number of souls was very small, and then there was expansion.
26part mein aane se mail chadhti gai।
26Whilst coming into a part the soul continued to accumulate dirt.
27aatmaayen sabhi ikatthi to nahin aati hain।
27Not all souls can come down together.
28jhaad to dheere-dheere vriddhi ko paata hai।
28The tree grows gradually.
29geeta mein bhi mahaavaakya hain ki manushya srishti ulta jhaad hai।
29In the Gita, it is written that the human world is an inverted tree.
30ulta kyon hai?
30Why is it inverted?
31kyonki inki jad oopar hai।
31Because its roots are at the top.
32sab aatmaayen niraakaari duniya se aati hain to jad vahaan rahi na।
32All souls come from the incorporeal world and so the root is up there, is it not?
33ab sab aatmaayen tamoguni hain।
33All souls are impure.
34unhon ko svachchha banaana—so to ek hi samartha ka kaam hai, aur unki gat-mat vahi jaane।
34To make them clean and pure is the task of the powerful One. 35Only He knows about His directions and instructions.
35sadgati karne ki mat unki kya hai?
36What are His directions to bring about salvation?
36kis tarkeeb se karte hain?
371hrough which method does He do this?
37woh to vahi jaane।
38Only He knows that.
38manushya aatmaayen to part bajaate-bajaate puraani ho gai hain। 39woh kaise kisko svachchha banaayegi?
39Human souls have become old whilst playing their part and so how can they purify anyone?
40woh bal kahaan se aae?
40Where can they receive that power from?
41sarvashaktivaan to woh ek hi paramatma hai।
41God alone is the Almighty Authority.
42woh baap bhi aatma hai parantu unko param kehte hain kyonki punarjanma rahit hai।
42That Father is also a soul, but He is called the Supreme because He is beyond rebirth.
43unko koi lep-chhep nahin lagta।
43He is immune to action.
44unse satoguni sanskaar kab jaate nahin hain।
44His pure sanskars are never erased from Him.
45aatmaayen janma-maran mein aati hain to woh sanskaar chale jaate hain।
45When souls take birth and rebirth those sanskars finish.
46jo bhi svachchha aatmaayen hain woh aati hain apna dharma sthaapan kar unki paalna karne।
46Pure souls come to establish their religion and to sustain it.
47paramatma aate hain sabko vaapas le jaane aur saath-saath phir nai duniya ki sthaapna karaate hain।
47God comes to take everyone back and, as well as that, He also carries out the establishment of the new world.
48to unke kaam niraale hue।
48So His acts are unique.
49paramatma ka kartavya hi apna hai।
49God's task is His own.
50aatmaayen apne sanskaaron sahit anaadi hain।
50Souls and their sanskars are eternal.
51unhon ko anek janmon ka part bhi kaise bajaana hota hai -- woh bhi samajhna hai।
51You also have to understand how they have to play their part of many births.
52aise nahin ki aatma, paramatma se mili hui ek hi cheej hai।
52It isn't that the soul is merged with the Supreme Soul and that both are the same.
53har ek aatma ke bhinna-bhinna sanskaar hain।
53Each soul has its own individual sanskars.
54Christ, bauddha aadi bhal svachchha aatmaayen hain, parantu un sabke bhi bhinna-bhinna sanskaar hain, apna-apna kartavya hai।
54Although Christ, Buddha and others are pure souls, they all have their own individual sanskars and perform their own actions.
55to svachchha aatmaon mein bhi bhinnata hui na।
55So there is also a difference between the pure souls.
56yeh sab knowledge paramatma hi de sakte hain jo anaadi kaal se jaante hain।
56Only the Supreme Soul who has this knowledge eternally can give this knowledge to us.
57arjun ko bhi kaha hai na ki mujh ek ko jaanne se tum sab kuchh jaan jaayenge।
57Arjuna was also told: By knowing Me alone, you will know everything.
58har cheej ka knowledge mil jaata hai।
58You receive the knowledge of everything.
59to paramatma sabmen mila hua nahin hai, unke kartavya hi niraale hain।
59So the Supreme Soul is not merged in everyone. 60His acts are totally unique.
60aatma hi aatma mein milkar ek nahin ho sakti hai to paramatma mein milkar ek kaise ho sakti hai?
61Souls cannot merge with other souls and become one soul, so how can souls merge with the Supreme Soul and become one?
61satayug mein aatmaayen pavitra hain, karma-bandhan ke hisaab-kitaab se us stage mein jeevanmukta hain।
62In satyug souls are pure and because of their karmic accounts they are in the stage of liberation in life.
62usi samay mail nahin rehti।
63At that time they are not impure.
63phir apne-apne part mein aane se sanskaaron ki mail chadhti jaati hai। 64manushya ke bhinna-bhinna sanskaar, bhinna-bhinna activity — yeh kis aadhaar par hai?
64Then, when they come to play their part, the impurity of their sanskars accumulates.' What are the different sanskars and activities of human beings based on?
65is bhinnata ki bhi stage hain।
65There are varying degrees within these differences too.
66aatmaayen apni tamoguni stage mein bhi apne-apne sanskaar vaali hain।
66Even in their impure stage, souls have their own sanskars.
67rajo mein bhi bhinnata hai to tamo mein bhi bhinnata hai।
67There is a variety in their rajo (middle stage) as wei! as in their tamo (most degraded) stage.
68satayug mein jab jeevanmukta hain, yatha raaja-raani tatha praja।
68In satyug, when souls were experiencing liberation in life, there were kings and queens and also subjects.
69to yeh raaja-raani-praja sab the na।
69There were all of these.
70bhinnata na hoti to sab raajaayen hote।
70If there weren't any variety, then all would be kings.
71praja hai to raaja avashya hai।
71Since there are subjects, there is definitely a king as well.
72sab raaja hon to phir khel hi na ho।
72If all were kings, there would be no game.
73in sabhi maheen baaton ko buddhi se samajhna hai।
73All these deep aspects have to be understood with the intellect.
74vivek ko kholna hai।
74You have to broaden your reasoning.
75paramatma aakar anubhav, vivek ke aadhaar par samjhaate hain।
75God comes and explains on the basis of experienoe and reasoning.
76right wrong kya hai? 77— so sochna hai jarur।
76You have to think about what is right and what is wrong.
78kehte hain — bhagwan ne aisa khel kyon racha?
77People say: Why did God create such a game?
79bachchon ko duhkhi karna — kya yeh baap ka khel hai?
78Is it the Pather's game to make the children unhappy?
80baap kehte hain ki mainne jo khel racha hai usmein bhinnata thi।
79Baba says: There was a variety in the game that I created.
81mainne sukh ka khel racha।
80I created a game of happiness.
82yeh to phir manushyon ne mujhko bhoolkar apne ko bhulaaya hai aur apne liye karmabhog banaaya hai।
81But human beings then forgot Me and forgot themselves and created the suffering of karma for themselves.
83mainne to aise karma-bhog se chhudaaya tha, tab to mujhe duhkh-harta sukh-kartta kaha gaya hai।
82I liberated you from such suffering of karma and this is why I am remembered as the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness.
84yeh hai samajhne ki baat।
83This is something to be understood.
85yeh sunne vaala bhi regular chaahiye kyonki guhya padhaai hoti jaati hai।
84Those who come to listen to knowledge have to be regular because the study gets deeper day by day.
86bhal vahi baat १० baar suni hogi parantu koi din woh baat poori reeti buddhi mein baith jaaegi।
85You may have heard the same thing ten times, but one day it will penetrate your intellect.
87regular padhne se hi poori dhaarna hogi।
86Only when you study regularly are you able to imbibe completely.
88vinaashi pad paane mein bhi regular padhaai hoti hai na।
87You have to study regularly in order to attain even a perishable status.
89yeh bhi padhaai hai aur inka time bhi yeh thoda-sa hai।
88This is also study and it is only for a short time.
90aise nahin ki parampara guruon ki gaddi chalti hai।
89It isn't that the throne of the gurus continues from time immemorial.
91nahin, paramatma to kehte hain satguru hoon hi main ek।
90No, the Supreme Soul says: I alone am the Satguru.
92main hi sadgati deta hoon।
91I alone grant salvation.
93sadgati ko hi praalabdha kahenge।
92Salvation is said to be the reward.
94durgati ko praalabdha nahin kaha jaata hai।
93Degradation cannot be called the reward.
95sirf satya-satya kahne se na kalyaan hua hai, na hone vaala hai।
94By Simply just saying, "It is true, it is true", neither has there been benefit nor will , there be benefit.
96har baat ko vivek se samajhna chaahiye na।
95You have to understand everything with reasoning.
97manzil barobar oonch hai।
96The destination is very high.
98vikaaron ko poora jeetna hai tab to sampoorn banenge।
97You have to conquer the vices completely, and only then will you become complete.
99vikaaron se yuddha karni hai।
98You have to battle with the vices.
100ismen agar khud nahin pahunch sakte to shant mein rahen।
99If you are not able to do anything, just remain peaoeful.
101auron ki shanti mein vighna daalna, aise ko kalpa pahle bhi paramatma ne kaha hai raahu aur bhasmaasur।
100Those who create obstacles in others' peaoe have been called devils by God in the previous kalpa.
102apne ko hi bhasma kar dete hain।
101They bum themselves.
103asur to pahle hi hain।
102They are devils anyway.
104gyaan amrit pi phir ulta bante hain to unko bhasmaasur kaha jaata hai।
103They drink the nectar of knowledge and then turn away and so they are called Bhasmasur (the devil who burnt himself).
105to gyaan amrit peekar aur hi bhasmaasur to nahin banna chaahiye।
104So you should not drink the nectar of knowledge but then become Bhasmasur.
106apna kaam hai soochna dena।
105Your duty is to warn others.
107bure bano to bhi kitne tak bano, achha bano to bhi kitne tak bano?
106If you become bad, to what extent will you become bad? 107And if you become good, to what extent will you become good?
108buraai mein bhi stages hain — sato, rajo, tamo।
108There are stages even in being bad: sato, rajo and tamo.
109aise nahin ki ekdam chaknaachoor ho jaao।
109You should not get totally crushed.
110bhal bure bano yaani pad ganvaao parantu ekdam bhasmaasur to nahin bano na।
110You may become bad, that is, you may lose your status, but do not become completely like Bhasmasur.
111khud nahin chal sakte ho to auron ko to vighna nahin daalo।
111If you yourself are not able to continue here, · at least do not create obstacles for others.
112karte to sab apne liye hain na।
112Whatever anyone does is only for their own self.
113sachche purushaarthi ko to yeh vighna aadi aur hi force (josh) dilaaenge।
113Obstacles would add even greater strength to true effort-makers.
114baap ka pharja hai sapoot athva kapoot bachchon ko samjhaana।
114It is the Father's duty to explain to the worthy and the unworthy children.
115kapoot prati bhi soochna di jaati hai — muphta apna pad bhrashta karte ho।
115Even the unworthy children are cautioned: You are destroying your status for nothing.
116banaane vaale to apna pad bana hi lenge।
116Those who want to will create their own status.
117bigaadenge phir bhi apni।
117Those who destroy something will only destroy it for themselves.
118isliye kuchh sochna chaahiye।
118Therefore you should think about this.
119achha।
119Achcha.
