1Paramātmā aur dharm-ātmāō̃ K|kē kārya mē̃ mahān antar

1The great difference between the task of God and those of the religious souls.

2Ōm śhānti .

2Om shanti.

3Ham ātmāyē̃ bahut purānī haĩ .

3We souls are very old.

4Jarūr hai ki ham ātmāyē̃ kab naī bhī thī̃ .

4We souls were definitely new at some point.

5Bhalā ātmā naī aur purānī kaisē hōtī hai  ?

5How can the soul be new or old?

6Duniyā tō samajhtī hai ki «  ātmā nyārī hai , na kaṭtī hai , na jaltī hai . 7 » ātmā kā kisī bhī tarah vināśh nahī̃ hōtā , kyōṅki immortal hai .

6The world understands that the soul is Unique, that it can neither be cut nor burnt, that the soul can never be destroyed in any way because it is immortal.

8 » parantu ab hamnē param ātmā sē jānā hai ki ātmā immortal barōbar hai .

7However, we now know from the Supreme Soul that the soul truly is immortal.

9Śharīr kō jalātē haĩ tō ātmā nikal jātī hai .

8They burn the body, but the soul has already left it.

10Ātmā apnē karmō̃ K|kē hisāb-kitāb anusār dūsrā śharīr lēkar part bajātī hai .

9The soul takes another body according to its karmic actions and then plays its part.

11Bhōgnē vālī ātmā hai .

10It is the soul that experiences everything.

12Aisē nahī̃ ki śharīr bhōgnē jātā hai , śharīr mē̃ ātmā bhōgnē jātī hai .

11The body doesn't experience anything. 12It is the soul that experiences everything through the body.

13Karmō̃ kā hisāb-kitāb ātmā par lagtā hai tab tō ātmā bhōgnē jātī hai .

13Karmic accounts are accumulated by the soul and this is why the .soul experiences everything.

14Agar ātmā nyārī hōtī tō bhōgnē kyū̃ jātī  ?

14If the soul were separate, why should it experience anything?

15Duḥkh-sukh ātmā hī bhōgtī hai .

15It is the soul that experiences happiness or sorrow.

16Tō jarūr mail chaṛhī huī hai .

16So there must definitely be some dirt on the soul.

17Ab ātmā kō duḥkh feel hōtā hai , tō jarūr ātmā kō pūrṇ sukh-śhānti kā bhī anubhav thā .

17The soul now experiences sorrow, and so it must definitely have previous experience of complete happiness and peace.

18Usī samay ātmāyē̃ bhī naī thī̃ .

18At that time souls were new.

19Ab purānī ban gaī haĩ .

19Now they have become old.

20Ātmā kē ūpar mail bhī anēk janmō̃ key|kī lagī huī hai , na ki ēk janm key|kī .

20There is the dirt of many births on the soul, not just one birth.

21Manuṣhya jō kuchh vikarma kartē haĩ uskī bhōgnā bahut hai jō ēk janm mē̃ pūrī nahī̃ hō saktī hai .

21Whatever sirlfuJ. actions human beings perform, they have to suffer a lot for them and this suffering cannot be finished in one birth.

22Anēk janmō̃ key|kī mail chaṛhtē-chaṛhtē ātmā ab antim stage par ākar pahũchī hai .

22Whilst accumulating the dirt of many births the soul has now reached the final stage.

23Aisī tamōguṇī ātmāō̃ kō phir svachchha banānē paramātmā kō ānā paṛtā hai .

23God has to come to ·make such tamoguni souls clean and pure.

24५ bhūtō̃ nē hī is tamōguṇī avasthā mē̃ lāyā hai .

24The five evil spirits have brought about this impure stage.

25Pahlē-pahlē ātmāō̃ key|kī saṅkhyā bhī cum|kam thī , phir vr̥iddhi hōtī gaī .

25At first the number of souls was very small, and then there was expansion.

26Part mē̃ ānē sē mail chaṛhtī gaī .

26Whilst coming into a part the soul continued to accumulate dirt.

27Ātmāyē̃ sabhī ikaṭṭhī tō nahī̃ ātī haĩ .

27Not all souls can come down together.

28Jhāṛ tō dhīrē-dhīrē vr̥iddhi kō pātā hai .

28The tree grows gradually.

29Gītā mē̃ bhī mahāvākya haĩ ki manuṣhya sr̥iṣhṭi ulṭā jhāṛ hai .

29In the Gita, it is written that the human world is an inverted tree.

30Ulṭā kyō̃ hai  ?

30Why is it inverted?

31Kyōṅki inkī jaṛ ūpar hai .

31Because its roots are at the top.

32Sab ātmāyē̃ nirākārī duniyā sē ātī haĩ tō jaṛ vahā̃ rahī nā .

32All souls come from the incorporeal world and so the root is up there, is it not?

33Ab sab ātmāyē̃ tamōguṇī haĩ .

33All souls are impure.

34Unhō̃ kō svachchha banānā — sō tō ēk hī samarth kā kām hai , aur unkī gat-mat vahī jānē .

34To make them clean and pure is the task of the powerful One. 35Only He knows about His directions and instructions.

35Sadgati karnē key|kī mat unkī kyā hai  ?

36What are His directions to bring about salvation?

36Kis tarkīb sē kartē haĩ  ?

371hrough which method does He do this?

37Vah tō vahī jānē .

38Only He knows that.

38Manuṣhya ātmāyē̃ tō part bajātē-bajātē purānī hō gaī haĩ . 39Vah kaisē kiskō svachchha banāyēgī  ?

39Human souls have become old whilst playing their part and so how can they purify anyone?

40Vah bal kahā̃ sē āē  ?

40Where can they receive that power from?

41Sarvśhaktivān tō vah ēk hī paramātmā hai .

41God alone is the Almighty Authority.

42Vah bāp bhī ātmā hai parantu unkō param kahtē haĩ kyōṅki punarjanma rahit hai .

42That Father is also a soul, but He is called the Supreme because He is beyond rebirth.

43Unkō kōī lēp-chhēp nahī̃ lagtā .

43He is immune to action.

44Unsē satōguṇī saṅskār kab jātē nahī̃ haĩ .

44His pure sanskars are never erased from Him.

45Ātmāyē̃ janm-maraṇ mē̃ ātī haĩ tō vah saṅskār chalē jātē haĩ .

45When souls take birth and rebirth those sanskars finish.

46Jō bhī svachchha ātmāyē̃ haĩ vah ātī haĩ apnā dharm sthāpan kar unkī pālnā karnē .

46Pure souls come to establish their religion and to sustain it.

47Paramātmā ātē haĩ sabkō vāpas lē jānē aur sāth-sāth phir naī duniyā kī sthāpanā karātē haĩ .

47God comes to take everyone back and, as well as that, He also carries out the establishment of the new world.

48Tō unkē kām nirālē huē .

48So His acts are unique.

49Paramātmā kā kartavya hī apnā hai .

49God's task is His own.

50Ātmāyē̃ apnē saṅskārō̃ sahit anādi haĩ .

50Souls and their sanskars are eternal.

51Unhō̃ kō anēk janmō̃ kā part bhī kaisē bajānā hōtā hai - - vah bhī samajhnā hai .

51You also have to understand how they have to play their part of many births.

52Aisē nahī̃ ki ātmā , paramātmā sē milī huī ēk hī chīj hai .

52It isn't that the soul is merged with the Supreme Soul and that both are the same.

53Har ēk ātmā K|kē bhinn-bhinn saṅskār haĩ .

53Each soul has its own individual sanskars.

54Christ , bauddh ādi bhal svachchha ātmāyē̃ haĩ , parantu un sabkē bhī bhinn-bhinn saṅskār haĩ , apnā-apnā kartavya hai .

54Although Christ, Buddha and others are pure souls, they all have their own individual sanskars and perform their own actions.

55Tō svachchha ātmāō̃ mē̃ bhī bhinnatā huī nā .

55So there is also a difference between the pure souls.

56Yah sab knowledge paramātmā hī dē saktē haĩ jō anādi kāl sē jāntē haĩ .

56Only the Supreme Soul who has this knowledge eternally can give this knowledge to us.

57Arjun kō bhī kahā hai nā ki mujh ēk kō jānnē sē tum sab kuchh jān jāyēṅgē .

57Arjuna was also told: By knowing Me alone, you will know everything.

58Her|har chīj kā knowledge mil jātā hai .

58You receive the knowledge of everything.

59Tō paramātmā sabmē̃ milā huā nahī̃ hai , unkē kartavya hī nirālē haĩ .

59So the Supreme Soul is not merged in everyone. 60His acts are totally unique.

60Ātmā hī ātmā mē̃ milkar ēk nahī̃ hō saktī hai tō paramātmā mē̃ milkar ēk kaisē hō saktī hai  ?

61Souls cannot merge with other souls and become one soul, so how can souls merge with the Supreme Soul and become one?

61Satyug mē̃ ātmāyē̃ pavitra haĩ , karm-bandhan K|kē hisāb-kitāb sē us stage mē̃ jīvanmukt haĩ .

62In satyug souls are pure and because of their karmic accounts they are in the stage of liberation in life.

62Usī samay mail nahī̃ rahtī .

63At that time they are not impure.

63Phir apnē-apnē part mē̃ ānē sē saṅskārō̃ key|kī mail chaṛhtī jātī hai . 64Manuṣhya K|kē bhinn-bhinn saṅskār , bhinn-bhinn activity — yah kis ādhār par hai  ?

64Then, when they come to play their part, the impurity of their sanskars accumulates.' What are the different sanskars and activities of human beings based on?

65Is bhinnatā key|kī bhī stage haĩ .

65There are varying degrees within these differences too.

66Ātmāyē̃ apnī tamōguṇī stage mē̃ bhī apnē-apnē saṅskār vālī haĩ .

66Even in their impure stage, souls have their own sanskars.

67Rajō mē̃ bhī bhinnatā hai tō tamō mē̃ bhī bhinnatā hai .

67There is a variety in their rajo (middle stage) as wei! as in their tamo (most degraded) stage.

68Satyug mē̃ jab jīvanmukt haĩ , yathā rājā-rānī tathā prajā .

68In satyug, when souls were experiencing liberation in life, there were kings and queens and also subjects.

69Tō yah rājā-rānī-prajā sab thē nā .

69There were all of these.

70Bhinnatā na hōtī tō sab rājāyē̃ hōtē .

70If there weren't any variety, then all would be kings.

71Prajā hai tō rājā avaśhya hai .

71Since there are subjects, there is definitely a king as well.

72Sab rājā hō̃ tō phir khēl hī na hō .

72If all were kings, there would be no game.

73In sabhī mahīn bātō̃ kō buddhi sē samajhnā hai .

73All these deep aspects have to be understood with the intellect.

74Vivēk kō khōlnā hai .

74You have to broaden your reasoning.

75Paramātmā ākar anubhav , vivēk K|kē ādhār par samjhātē haĩ .

75God comes and explains on the basis of experienoe and reasoning.

76Right wrong kyā hai  ? 77— sō sōchnā hai jarur .

76You have to think about what is right and what is wrong.

78Kahtē haĩ — bhagvān nē aisā khēl kyō̃ rachā  ?

77People say: Why did God create such a game?

79Bachchō̃ kō duḥkhī karnā — kyā yah bāp kā khēl hai  ?

78Is it the Pather's game to make the children unhappy?

80Bāp kahtē haĩ ki mainnē jō khēl rachā hai usmē̃ bhinnatā thī .

79Baba says: There was a variety in the game that I created.

81Mainnē sukh kā khēl rachā .

80I created a game of happiness.

82Yah tō phir manuṣhyō̃ nē mujhkō bhūlkar apnē kō bhulāyā hai aur apnē liē karmabhōg banāyā hai .

81But human beings then forgot Me and forgot themselves and created the suffering of karma for themselves.

83Mainnē tō aisē karm-bhōg sē chhuṛāyā thā , tab tō mujhē duḥkh-hartā sukh-karttā kahā gayā hai .

82I liberated you from such suffering of karma and this is why I am remembered as the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness.

84Yah hai samajhnē key|kī bāt .

83This is something to be understood.

85Yah sunnē vālā bhī regular chāhiē kyōṅki guhya paṛhāī hōtī jātī hai .

84Those who come to listen to knowledge have to be regular because the study gets deeper day by day.

86Bhal vahī bāt १० bār sunī hōgī parantu kōī din vah bāt pūrī rīti buddhi mē̃ baiṭh jāēgī .

85You may have heard the same thing ten times, but one day it will penetrate your intellect.

87Regular paṛhnē sē hī pūrī dhārṇā hōgī .

86Only when you study regularly are you able to imbibe completely.

88Vināśhī pad pānē mē̃ bhī regular paṛhāī hōtī hai nā .

87You have to study regularly in order to attain even a perishable status.

89Yah bhī paṛhāī hai aur inkā time bhī yah thōṛā-sā hai .

88This is also study and it is only for a short time.

90Aisē nahī̃ ki paramparā guruō̃ key|kī gaddī chaltī hai .

89It isn't that the throne of the gurus continues from time immemorial.

91Nahī̃ , paramātmā tō kahtē haĩ satguru hū̃ hī maĩ ēk .

90No, the Supreme Soul says: I alone am the Satguru.

92Maĩ hī sadgati dētā hū̃ .

91I alone grant salvation.

93Sadgati kō hī prālabdh kahē̃gē .

92Salvation is said to be the reward.

94Durgati kō prālabdh nahī̃ kahā jātā hai .

93Degradation cannot be called the reward.

95Sirph satya-satya kahnē sē na kalyāṇ huā hai , na hōnē vālā hai .

94By Simply just saying, "It is true, it is true", neither has there been benefit nor will , there be benefit.

96Her|har bāt kō vivēk sē samajhnā chāhiē nā .

95You have to understand everything with reasoning.

97Mañjil barōbar ūñch hai .

96The destination is very high.

98Vikārō̃ kō pūrā jītnā hai tab tō sampūrṇ banē̃gē .

97You have to conquer the vices completely, and only then will you become complete.

99Vikārō̃ sē yuddha karnī hai .

98You have to battle with the vices.

100Ismē̃ agar khud nahī̃ pahũch saktē tō śhānt mē̃ rahē̃ .

99If you are not able to do anything, just remain peaoeful.

101Aurō̃ key|kī śhānti mē̃ vighna ḍālnā , aisē kō kalp pahlē bhī paramātmā nē kahā hai rāhū aur bhasmāsur .

100Those who create obstacles in others' peaoe have been called devils by God in the previous kalpa.

102Apnē kō hī bhasma kar dētē haĩ .

101They bum themselves.

103Asur tō pahlē hī haĩ .

102They are devils anyway.

104Gyān amr̥it pī|P phir ulṭā bantē haĩ tō unkō bhasmāsur kahā jātā hai .

103They drink the nectar of knowledge and then turn away and so they are called Bhasmasur (the devil who burnt himself).

105Tō gyān amr̥it pīkar aur hī bhasmāsur tō nahī̃ bannā chāhiē .

104So you should not drink the nectar of knowledge but then become Bhasmasur.

106Apnā kām hai sūchnā dēnā .

105Your duty is to warn others.

107Burē banō tō bhī kitnē tak banō , achchhā banō tō bhī kitnē tak banō  ?

106If you become bad, to what extent will you become bad? 107And if you become good, to what extent will you become good?

108Burāī mē̃ bhī stages haĩ — satō , rajō , tamō .

108There are stages even in being bad: sato, rajo and tamo.

109Aisē nahī̃ ki ēkdam chaknāchūr hō jāō .

109You should not get totally crushed.

110Bhal burē banō yānī pad ganvāō parantu ēkdam bhasmāsur tō nahī̃ banō nā .

110You may become bad, that is, you may lose your status, but do not become completely like Bhasmasur.

111Khud nahī̃ chal saktē hō tō aurō̃ kō tō vighna nahī̃ ḍālō .

111If you yourself are not able to continue here, · at least do not create obstacles for others.

112Kartē tō sab apnē liē haĩ nā .

112Whatever anyone does is only for their own self.

113Sachchē puruṣhārthī kō tō yah vighna ādi aur hī force ( jōśh ) dilāēṅgē .

113Obstacles would add even greater strength to true effort-makers.

114Bāp kā pharja hai sapūt athavā kapūt bachchō̃ kō samjhānā .

114It is the Father's duty to explain to the worthy and the unworthy children.

115Kapūt prati bhī sūchnā dī jātī hai — mupht apnā pad bhraṣhṭa kartē hō .

115Even the unworthy children are cautioned: You are destroying your status for nothing.

116Banānē vālē tō apnā pad banā hī lē̃gē .

116Those who want to will create their own status.

117Bigāṛē̃gē phir bhī apnī .

117Those who destroy something will only destroy it for themselves.

118Isliē kuchh sōchnā chāhiē .

118Therefore you should think about this.

119Achchhā .

119Achcha.
