1Pāñch vikārō̃ K|kē karmbandhan sē chhūṭnā hī sachchī svatantratā hai
1To be liberated from the karmic bondages of the five vices is true freedom.
2Ōm śhānti .
2Om shanti.
3Ham jiskī yād mē̃ baiṭhē haĩ uskō ham jāntē haĩ ki vah samarth hai !
3We know that the One in whose remembrance we are sitting is the All-Powerful One.
4Uskī samarthī kā bhī kab karttavya chalā hai .
4There must have been some activity of His power at a certain time.
5Nirākārpanē key|kī samarthī nahī̃ .
5That is not the power of His being inco1poreal.
6Jarur sākār mē̃ samarthī kā karttavya chalā hai tab gāyan huā hai .
6There must have been activity through His power in the corporeal form and this is why it has been praised.
7Nirākār hōtē sākār mē̃ gāyan hai tō jarur kuchh khās bāt hōgī .
7Whilst being incorporeal He has been praised here in the corporeal form, so He must have done something special.
8Bākī yah tō samajhtē haĩ ki kiskō dhan dēnā , khānā dēnā , sukh dēnā - yah us karankarāvanhār kā kām nahī hai , uskī yah samarthī nahī̃ hai .
8But you understand that to give money, food or happiness is not the act of that Karankaravanhar. 9This is not His power.
9Agar aisā hō tō phir sabkō sukh dēvē .
10If it were like that He would give happiness to everyone.
10Phir kōī sukhī aur kōī duḥkhī kyō̃ ?
11Why are some happy and some unhappy?
11Sukh hōtē bhī manuṣhya santuṣhṭ nahī̃ hai tō kyā yah paramātmā kā karttavya hai ?
12Is it God's doing that people are not content even though they have happiness?
12Ab hamārī buddhi kā tālā khulā hai , tō ham jāntē haĩ ki paramātmā key|kī samarthī kyā hai ?
13Now the lock on our intellect has opened and so we know what God's power is.
13Paramātmā nē jō sukh diyā hai vah kuchh bhinn hai , tab hī paramātmā K|kē karttavya kā gāyan hai .
14The happiness that God has given is totally different. 15This is why there is praise of God's act.
14Bākī is jīvan sē paramātmā kā karttavya siddha nahī̃ hōtā hai .
16But God's act cannot be proved through .this life.
15Paramātmā nē yah jīvan nahī̃ banāī hai .
17God has not created this life.
16Vah kuchh aur ūñch jīvan thī jiskā gāyan hai . 17Vah ūñch sukh key|kī duniyā thī .
18That was a totally different life and it has been praised, That was a world of elevated happiness.
18Manuṣhya nahī̃ jāntē .
19People do not know this.
19Uskō sarv sukh-dātā , samarth tab kahā jātā hai jabki mukti aur jīvanmukti dōnō̃ hī ākar dētē haĩ .
20He is called the Bestower of all happiness and the All-powerful One since He comes and grants both mukti and jeevanmukti.
20Aur sabhī dharm vālō̃ kō mukti mē̃ bhēj dētē haĩ .
21He sends all those of the other religions into mukti.
21Bākī jō lāyak bantē haĩ unhō̃ kō rājya-bhāgya dē khud vāpas chalē jātē haĩ .
22All those who become worthy are given the fortune of the kingdom and then He Himself goes away.
22Kyōṅki prālabdh tō ātmāō̃ kō bhōgnī paṛtī hai .
23It is souls that have to experience the reward.
23Hamkō vah knowledge milī hai , sukh milā hai , tab hī gāyan kartē haĩ aur unsē yōg lagātē haĩ .
24We have received that knowledge and happiness and this is why we sing His praise and have yoga with Him.
24Paramātmā kahtē haĩ – is sr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ mērī yād kā tō aṅśh hī nahī̃ hai .
25God says: There isn't even a trace of My remembrance in this world.
25Māyā nē ēkdam buddhi kā tālā lagā diyā hai .
26Maya has totally locked your intellect.
26Bākī paramātmā bāp kabhī kiskō duḥkh nahī̃ dētē haĩ .
27But God the Father never gives any sorrow to anyone.
27Uskō kahā jātā hai sukh-dātā , na ki duḥkh-dātā .
28He is called the Bestower of Happiness, not the Bestower of Sorrow.
28Sukh diyā hai , tab tō itnē yādgār banē haĩ aur gāyan hōtā hai .
29He has given happiness and this is why there are so many memorials and why He is praised.
29Ab māyā nē apavitr banāyā jis kāraṇ hī manuṣhya duḥkhī banē haĩ .
30Maya has now made you impure which is why human being-; are experiencing sorrow.
30Manuṣhya yah jō svatantratā kahtē haĩ , lēkin jab tak ५ vikārō̃ K|kē karmbandhan sē na chhūṭē haĩ , tab tak svatantratā hō nahī̃ saktī hai .
31People speak of freedom, but they cannot have freedom until they are liberated from the bondage of the five vices.
31Apavitr ātmāyē̃ na sukh dēkh saktī haĩ , na sr̥iṣhṭi par rājya chalā saktī̃ .
32Impure souls can neither experience any happiness nor can they rule the kingdom of the world.
32Isliē paramātmā kā plan hī kuchh aur hai .
33This is why God's plan is something different.
33Vah rājya kārōbār na kauravō̃ kō dētē haĩ , na yādavō̃ kō dētē haĩ . 34Parantu pavitra dēvtāō̃ kō dētē haĩ , jinhō̃ kō ab khud banā rahē haĩ .
34He gives the kingdom neither to the Kauravs nor to the Yadavs, but He gives it to the pure deities whom He Himself is creating at this time.
35Bannā tō harēk kō apnē puruṣhārth sē hī hai .
35Each one has to become that through his own effort.
36Apnī mēhnat sē lakṣhmī-nārāyaṇ nē sampūrṇ puruṣhārth sē sampūrṇ prālabdh pāī hai , tab hī gāyan hai . 37Hero-heroine kahā jātā hai .
36Lakshmi and Narayan have received the complete reward through their own full effort. 37This is why it is sung that they are the hero and heroine.
38Brahmā kō bhī hero-heroine kahā jātā hai kyōṅki ūñch karttavya kiyā hai .
38Brahma is also called the hero because he has carried out an elevated task.
39Manuṣhya key|kī ūñchāī hai dēvtā bannā . 40Bākī manuṣhya paramātmā nahī̃ ban saktā .
39The greatness of human beings is to become deities, but they cannot become God.
41Tō puruṣhārth karnā hai .
40So you have to make effort.
42Drama par athavā bhāgya par nahī̃ ṭhaharnā hai .
41You must not stand still whilst relying on the drama or your fortune.
43Bhal ham jāntē haĩ ki yah banā banāyā hai … lēkin bannā tō puruṣhārth sē hai nā .
42Though we know that this is the predestined drama, we have to become something through our own effort.
44Patā paṛnē sē puruṣhārth nahī̃ chhūṭ saktā .
43When you know this, you are not able to stop making your effort.
45Chāhē patā lagē , chāhē na lagē , puruṣhārth mē̃ jarur lagnā hai .
44Whether you know something or not you have to engage yourself in making effort.
46Arjun kō bhī kahā hai nā - sab marē paṛē haĩ , sirph nimitt tumkō mārnā hai .
45Arjuna was also told: Everyone is already dead; you just have to kill them for the name's sake.
47Tō puruṣhārth karāyā nā .
46So he was inspired to make that effort.
48Puruṣhārth bigar , haṭh par ṭhaharnē sē kām nahī̃ chaltā hai .
47Nothing happens by being stubborn or by saying that you will not make any effort.
49Nahī̃ tō phir hāth masalnā paṛēgā .
48Otherwise, you will end up wringing your own hands.
50Śhvāṅs par tō bharōsā nahī̃ hai .
49You cannot be certain how long you will live.
51Śhubh kārya mē̃ dērī nahī̃ karnī chāhiē .
50You must not delay anything auspicious.
52Jaisē aur laukik kārya kō nibhātē hō , tō iskō bhī nibhānā hai .
51Just as you fulfil your lokik responsibilities, so also you also have to fulfll this responsibility.
53Gaphlat nahī̃ karnī hai .
52You must not be careless.
54Nahī̃ tō dharmarāj K|kē mōchrē bhī khānē paṛē̃gē , rōṭī bhī nahī̃ milēgī .
53Otherwise you will have to experience punislunent with a shoe from Dharamraj and you will not even receive anything.
55Agar mōchrō̃ sē chhūṭē̃gē tō phir ārām sē baiṭh khātē rahē̃gē .
54If you are liberated from punislunent you can then sit and eat comfortably.
56Kōī kahtē haĩ – achchhā , pīchhē dharmarāj sē samajh lē̃gē .
55Some say: Achcha, we will settle everything with Dharamraj at the end.
57Tō ab bhalā samajh lō .
56So understand Him now.
58Apnē karmō̃ sē chhūṭō .
57Liberate yourself from your karma.
59Dēkhō , kahtē haĩ nā – hāy mērē karma !
58Look how people cry about their own wrong karma.
60Ismē̃ kōī apnā ghāt bhī kar lētē haĩ .
59Some even commit suicide because of it.
61Duḥkh sē chhūṭnē kā vaśh nahī̃ chaltā hai tō phir dūsrē - tīsrē janm mē̃ duḥkh bhōgtē haĩ .
60If they are not able to free themselves from sorrow they experience sorrow in their next birth or the one after that.
62Kahtē haĩ – pīchhē bhagvān sē samajhē̃gē .
61They say: We will understand and settle everything with God at the end.
63Tō abhī hī samajh lō .
62You must understand this now.
64Kuchh sōchō , bākī gaphlat mat karō .
63Think about it and do not make any mistakes.
65Gaphlat karnē vālē duḥkh bhōgtē haĩ , chhūṭ nahī̃ saktē haĩ .
64Those who make mistakes experience sorrow. 65They are not able to be liberated.
66Isliē chētāvanī dī jātī hai ki in duḥkh K|kē karmbandhan sē chhūṭō , nahī̃ tō pachhtānā paṛēgā .
66This is why you are warned to be liberated from the karmic bondages of sorrow, otherwise you will have to repent.
67Achchhā .
67Achcha.
68Ōm śhānti .
