1Ātmā , paramātmā - dōnō̃ anādi haĩ , antar sirph pavitratā key|kī light kā hai

1The soul and the Supreme Soul are both eternal, and the only difference between them is in the degree of their light.

2Om shanti.

2Kahāvat hai – ātmā , paramātmā alag rahē bahukāl , sundar mēlā kar diyā jab satguru milā dalāl .

3It is said that the soul and the Supreme Soul remained separated for a long time and there was a beautiful meeting that took place when the soul found the Satguru, the Agent.

3Ab dalāl jō sambandh juṛāvē vah bhī tō paramātmā hī chāhiē .

4The Agent, who forges your relationship, has to be the Supreme Soul.

4Tō ab satguru nē hī apnē sāth yōg lagānā sikhāyā hai aur samjhāyā hai ki ' maĩ kaun ' aur ' tum kaun ' .

5The Satguru has now taught you how to have yoga . 6With Him and explained to you 'Who am I' and 'Who are you'.

5Bahut lōgō̃ key|kī mat hai ki sabkī ātmāyē̃ ēk haĩ .

7Many people think that the souls of everyone together make just one soul.

6Parantu trētā K|kē ant tak bhī ३३ krōṛ ātmāyē̃ gāī jātī haĩ .

8However, it is remembered that there are 33 million souls even at the end of the silver age.

7Unkō kahā hī jātā hai nirākār ātmāyē̃ . 8Yānī ātmā aur śharīr alag chīzē̃ haĩ .

9They are called incorporeal souls, that is, the soul and the body are two separate things.

9Ātmā ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā lētī hai .

10The soul sheds one body and takes another.

10Tō lēnē aur chhōṛnē vālī ātmā hai . 11Pahlē bhalē śhārīrik sambandh sē ātmā kō duḥkh-sukh bhōgnā hai hisāb-kitāb anusār , parantu pure bannā hai .

11So it is the soul that takes and sheds a body, even though it first has to experience happiness or sorrow according to its karmic accounts. 12However, it has to become pure.

12Pure bannā hai supreme soul sē . 13Tō jaisē paramātmā kē liē praśhna nahī̃ hai ki kisnē unkō paidā kiyā , vaisē ātmāō̃ kē liē bhī praśhna nahī̃ uṭhtā hai .

13You become pure only through the Supreme Soul: Just as you cannot ask the question: Who created the Supreme Soul? 14So, also, there can be no question about the soul.

14Dōnō̃ anādi haĩ .

15Both are eternal.

15Parantu sirph paramātmā ēk hī soul hai jō ever pure hai .

16However, only the Supreme Soul is ever-pure.

16Sab chījō̃ mē̃ vah ever hai .

17He is "ever" in all respects.

17Bākī ātmā kō incorporeal sē corporeal mē̃ ānā hai aur stages sē pās|pass hōnā hai .

18But the soul has to go from the incorporeal to the corporeal and also pass through different stages.

18Ēk hī supreme soul badaltā nahī̃ hai .

19Only the Supreme Soul never changes.

19Gītā mē̃ bhī hai ki hajārō̃ sūryō sē jāstī tēj hai .

20In the Gita as well, it is mentioned that He is brighter than a thousand suns.

20Tō jitnī pure utnī prakāśhmay hai .

21So the purer the soul is, the brighter it is.

21Parantu size jaisī ātmā kī hai . vaisī paramātmā kī hai . sirph light kā antar hai .

22However, as the size of the soul, so the size of the Supreme Soul; there is just a difference in their light.

22Jab tamōpradhān ātmāyē̃ hōtī haĩ tō kālī hō jātī haĩ .

23When souls become tamopradhan, they are ugly.

23Śhuru mē̃ dēkhtē thē ki iskī ātmā mē̃ itnī light hai  !

24In the beginning we used to see that there was this much light in this one's soul.

24Tō ab yah kālāpan ādi sab pavitratā par hai .

25The darkness in the soul all depends on the purity of the soul.

25Tō taras tō ātā hī hai ki kyō̃ nahī̃ sab apnī jīvan banā lē̃  !

26There is the mercy that everyone should create their lives.

26Bāp kē pās hamārī jāydād hai , vah lēnē kā jōśh ānā chāhiē . 27Jaisē bāp sē laṛāī karkē bhī varsā lēnā hōtā hai nā .

27Baba has our property, and you should have the strength to claim it from Him, just as sometimes you struggle to claim your inheritance from your father.

28Bhal kōī gurunānak kō māntā hō , tō usmē̃ bhī baṛā pad pā saktā hai .

28Even though someone may believe in Guru Nanak, he can still claim a high status in that.

29Ab nahī̃ kiyā tō dharmarāj kē pās ānā hī paṛēgā .

29If you do not do anything now, you will have to go to Dharamraj.

30Jis time jis service key|kī darkār hai usmē̃ hī kamāī hai .

30There is income in doing any service, at the time there is a need for it.

31Jaisē jis samay government kō majdūrō̃ key|kī darkār paṛtī hai tō jāstī paisā dēkar bhī kām karātē haĩ .

31Likewise, when the government needs labourers they employ them after offering them a higher wage to get the work done.

32Tō jis samay jis service key|kī darkār hai us samay vahī service karnē sē uskī kamāī jāstī hai .

32So by doing the service that is needed at the time it is needed, there is a greater income earned.

33Jis samay tagārī uṭhānē key|kī darkār hai us samay vāchā service karē̃gē , jiskī us samay darkār nahī̃ , tō vah phāltū hō jāyēgī .

33If at the time of doing manual work you engage yourself in doing service through words, which is not needed at that time, it is wasteful.

34Hamkō tō bēhad mē̃ khaṛā rahnā hai .

34We have to remain alert in the unlimited.

35Hamārī bēhad key|kī service hai .

35Our service is unlimited.

36Duniyā key|kī service mē̃ khaṛē haĩ .

36We are present on world service.

37Yah hai detail puruṣhārth key|kī vā prālabdh key|kī knowledge jissē āgē baṛhtē rahnā hai .

37This is the detailed knowledge of effort and reward on the basis of which you have to continue to move forward.

38Chhōṭō̃ kō bhī āgē baṛhnā hai , unkē organs chhōṭē haĩ , itnī buddhi nahī̃ hai .

38Even the young ones have to move forward. 39Their organs are small and they do not have so much wisdom.

39Tō jitnī service kar saktē haĩ usmē̃ hī kamāī hai .

40So they earn an income in whatever service they are able to do.

40Pahlē tō khud dhāraṇ karnā hai , phir aurō̃ kō dhāraṇ karānā hai .

41First of all, you have to imbibe this yourself and then enable others to imbibe it.

41Bābā hamkō bahut ūñch lē jātē haĩ .

42Baba takes us very high.

42Ātmāō̃ sē number-vār prēm-pyār bhī rakhnā hai .

43There has to be numberwise love for souls.

43Aisā ( dēvtā ) bannā hai tō kām bhī aisā karnā hai .

44If you wish to become deities you have to perform your duties accordingly.

44Kaī kahtē «  yah pad ādi bhī kyā hai - temptation hai .

45Some say: What is this status etc.? 46It is a temptation.

45Apnā kām hai achchhā kām karnā .

47Your duty is to do something very well.

46" lēkin vah bhī tō jīvan hōgī nā pavitratā , sukh , śhānti key|kī . 47Tō uskā sākṣhātkār karātē haĩ .

48There will be a life of purity, peace and happiness and so you give a vision of that.

48Achchhā .

49Achcha.
