1aatma, paramatma ke karttavyon ko yathaartha jaanna hi achhe karmon ka aadhaar hai
1The basis of performing good actions is to know accurately the acts of the soul and the Supreme Soul.
Song
2geet :- duhkhiyon par kuchh raham karo… ।
2Song: Have mercy on those who are experiencing sorrow...
Murli
3om shanti।
3Om shanti.
4paramatma ek hai aur woh niraakaar hai।
4God is only one and He is incorporeal.
5kai manushya aise maante hue bhi is baat mein moonjhe hue hain। 6kyonki paramatma ke baare mein hi anekaanek vichaar hain।
5Many people believe this and yet are confused about it because they have many different ideas about God.
7niraakaar ko maanne vaalon ke bhi anek vichaar hain।
6Even those who believe in the incorporeal have many different ideas.
8koi bhi cheej ko ek kaha jaae to unka vritaanta bhi ek hona chaahiye na।
7If only One exists then there should also be only one description of Him.
9anek baaten to nahin honi chaahien।
8There should not be many different descriptions.
10parantu is ek cheej mein hi duniya moonjhi hui hai।
9But the world is confused in this respect.
11kehte bhi hain -- god is one ।
10They even say: God is one.
12lekin kahne aur samajhne mein kitna pharka hai !
11However, there is so much difference between saying this and understanding it.
13samjho, yeh aakaash tatva hai, unko har ek apni-apni bhaasha mein bhal kuchh bhi kahe lekin cheej to ek hai na।
12For instance, this sky is an element and each one may call it whatever they want in their own language, but it is just the one thing.
14is reeti paramatma bhi ek hi hai, to sabke paas vritaanta bhi ek hona chaahiye।
13In the same way, God is one and so everyone should have just one description of Him.
15bhaashaayen bhal anek hon lekin vichaar to anek nahin hone chaahien na ।
14Even though there may be many different languages, there should not be many different ideas.
16to ek hi baat mein duniya kitna moonjhi hui hai !
15So the world is very confused about this one thing.
17isliye yeh bhi nahin jaante hain ki ham aaye kahaan se hain, karna kya hai ?
16This is why they do not even know where they have come from and what they have to do.
18sirf kehte hain achhe karma karne chaahien ।
17They simply say that they should perform good actions.
19kai aise bhi manushya kah dete hain ki paramatma kya hai, ham kya hain, kahaan se aaye, kahaan jaana hai – in baaton se hamaara kya matlab ?
18Many people even say: What does it matter to us what God is, what we are, where we have come from and where we have to go to?
20baaki haan, achhe kaam karne chaahien ।
19But, yes, we should perform good karma.
21achha, woh achha kaam kaunsa hai ?
20Achcha, what is that good karma?
22to bataayenge - jhooth na bolo, chori na karo, kisko kashta na do।
21So they would say: Not to speak lies, not to steal and not to give sorrow to anyone.
23parantu ham jaante hain ki ek do ko kashta to dete hi aaye hain।
22However, we know that people have been giving sorrow to one another all along.
24apne aapko bhi dhokha dena - yeh bhi aatma ko kashta de rahe hain na ।
23Even to deceive the self is giving sorrow to the soul.
25yeh bhi samajhne ki baat hai।
24This is also something to be understood.
26pahle to apne ko jaanna chaahiye ki “main hoon kaun ? 27mera position kya hai ? 28karttavya kya hai ?
25First of all, you have to know yourself: Who am I, what is my position and what is my duty?
29” apne position ko jaanne se hi karttavya kar sakenge।
26Only by knowing your position would you carry out your duty.
30jaise doctor jab jaane – main doctor hoon, patient ko sapha deni hai, tab hi poori sapha de sakenge।
27LikeWise, a doctor knows that he is a doctor and that he has to give medicine to a patient, for only then can he give the right medicine.
31agar kahe ki inki aavashyakta hi kya hai, to karttavya kaise chale ?
28If he asks: What need is there for this? 29How can he carry out his duties?
32agar doctor ka karttavya kare parantu yeh pata na ho ki ham doctor hain- to kya karenge ?
30If he carries out the duty of a doctor but he does not know that he is a doctor, what will he do?
33to yeh bhi aisi baaten hain।
31So it is the same here.
34kehte to hain -- ham achhe karma kar rahe hain, ham desh ki seva kar rahe hain।
32They even say that they are performing good karma, that they are serving their country.
35lekin seva bhi sachchi kaunsi hoti hai ?
33However, what is true service?
36duniya jo kuchh bhi kar rahi hai uski result to saamne pratyaksha hoti ja rahi hai।
34The result of whatever the world is doing is being revealed to you.
37paramatma kya, ham kya, hamaara karttavya kya hai ? 38woh yathaartha reeti jaanna hai।
35You have to know accurately what God is, what we are and what our duty is.
39woh samajhte hain ham vedon-shaastron ke aadhaar par jaante hain।
36People think that they know everything on the basis of the Vedas and scriptures.
40lekin shaastra ki padhi hui baat ko jaanna thode hi kahenge।
37However, to study the things in the scriptures is not said to be knowing anything.
41jaanne ki to practical baaten hain।
38To know is something practical.
42ham practical mein apne anubhvon ke aadhaar par sunaate hain।
39We are relating this to you in a practical way on the basis of our own experience.
43aise nahin, jo hona hoga so dekha jaayega।
40It isn't that we will see about whatever has to happen.
44nahin।
41No.
45ham apne anubhav, vivek, authority ke aadhaar par kehte hain।
42We are speaking on the basis of our experience, our conscience and our authority.
46hamaari kahni aur karni duniya se niraali ho gai hai।
43Our words and our actions have become totally unique compared to those of the world.
47duniya jo kehti hai, karti hai - usmein koi em object nahin hai।
44There is no aim or object in what the world says and does.
48har ek ke apne-apne khyaalaat hain।
45Everyone has their own ideas.
49isliye koi bhi baat mein sthir nahin hain। 50apni buddhi to sthir hai।
46This is why they are not stable in anything, whereas our intellect is stable.
51buddhi mein ek hi yathaartha baat hai।
47We have the one accurate aspect in our intellect.
52hamaari kahni aur karni samaan hai।
48Our speaking and doing are the same.
49Achcha.
