H کہان कहां kahāṅ [prob. S. किं+स्थाने; H. ke-thān], pron. adv. Where? whither?: — kahāṅ-par, Where? at what place? — kahāṅ-tak or talak, kahāṅ-lag, or kahāṅ-loṅ, How far? how long? to what degree?: — kahāṅ-se, Whence? how? by what means?: — kahāṅ-kā, Of or belonging to what place?: — kahāṅ-kā-kahāṅ, To what a degree! extremely, intensely; — from where to where; what a distance! ever so far; now here now there: — kahāṅ — kahān, Where (this) — where (that)?; how distant or how different is (this) from (that)! how little is (this) consistent with that! (e.g. kahāṅ rājā Bhoj kahāṅ Gangā telī; — cf. Pers. kujā — kujā).
