सलाह salāh

सलाह salāha sala:h (nf) advice, counsel; opinion; cordial relations; reconciliation; —सदा अच्छी counsel is never out of date.

सलाह salāh [A. ṣalāḥ], f. 1. advice. 2. consultation. — ~ करना, to consult (with, से). ~ ठहरना (की), a matter to be settled (after discussion). ~ देना (को), to advise. ~ पर चलना, to act on the advice (of, की). ~ लेना, to take the advice (of, की); = ~ करना. – सलाहकार, m. adviser; consultant. ˚ई, adj. advisory, consultative.
