समझना samajhnā

समझना samajhanā samajhnā: (v) to understand, to grasp, to comprehend; to catch, to follow; to assume airs (वह अपने आपको बहुत/कुछ समझता है); to have it out (समझ लूँगा !); समझबूझकर deliberately; knowingly, wittingly.

समझना samajhnā [saṁbudhyate], v.i. & v.t. 1. v.i. to perceive, to understand; to think. 2. v.t. to grasp, to understand (a matter, &c.). 3. to consider (a thing) to be the case, to consider (a person) as such. 4. esp. w. लेना. to come to an understanding (with, से). 5. esp. w. लेना. to settle accounts (with, से)
