¹THE SPECIALITIES OF HOLY SWANS

³avyakt baapdaada apne bachchon prati bole - ⁴aaj sarva bachchon ko vishesh aatma banaane vaale baapdaada har ek holeehans ki visheshta dekh rahe hain ।

²Today BapDada, the One who makes all souls special, is seeing the specialities of each holy swan. ³A swan has the special powers of discernment and recognition.

⁵jaise hans ki nirnay-shakti aur parakhne ki shakti vishesh hoti hai। ⁶isliye grahan karne ki shakti bhi vishesh hai jo moti aur kankad donon ko parakhta hai aur phir nirnay karta hai, uske baad moti grahan karta hai,kankad-patthar chhod deta hai।

⁴Therefore, it also has the special power of being able to imbibe, and so is able to recognise both the stone and the pearl. ⁵It then discriminates between the two and imbibes the pearl. ⁶It sets aside the pebbles, the stones.

⁷to parakhna, nirnay karna aur grahan karna arthaat dhaaran karna- teenon shaktiyo ki visheshta ke kaaran sangamayugi sarasvati maa ki savaari hans dikhaaya hai।

⁷Because of having the specialities of all three powers ­ the powers to recognise, to decide and to adopt, that is, to imbibe, the confluence­aged mother Saraswati has been shown riding a swan.

⁸to ek sarasvati maa ka yaadgaar nahin lekin maa samaan banne vaali gyaan-veena vaadini aap sabhi ho।

⁸It is not a memorial of just the mother Saraswati, but all of you are also the ones who become like the mother and play the veena (musical instrument) of knowledge.

⁹is gyaan ko dhaaran karne ke liye bhi woh teenon visheshtaaen ati aavashyak hai।

⁹In order to imbibe this knowledge, all of these three specialities are very essential.

¹⁰aap sabhi ne brahman-jeevan dhaaran karte hi gyaan dvaara,vivek dvaara pahle parakhne ki shakti ke aadhaar ko pahchaana, apne-aapko pahchaana, samay ko pahchaana,apne brahman parivaar ko pahchaana, apne shreshtha karttavya ko pahchaana।

¹⁰When all of you adopted the Brahmin life you first had recognition on the basis of the power of recognition through knowledge and through your understanding: you recognized yourself, the time, your Brahmin family and your elevated task.

¹¹iske baad nirnay kiya, tab hi brahman-jeevan dhaaran ki ।

¹¹Only after having discerned this did you adopt the Brahmin life.

¹²yeh vahi kalpa pahle vaala behad ka baap hai, param-aatma hai, main bhi vahi kalpa vaali shreshtha aatma hoon, adhikaari aatma hoon - is parakhne ke baad nirnay kiya।

¹²You discerned that this is the same unlimited Father, the Supreme Soul of the previous cycle, and of your being an elevated soul of the previous cycle, a soul who has a right. ¹³After discerning this you took a decision.

¹³bina baap ko parakhne ke nirnay nahin kar sakte।

¹⁴Without recognising the Father, you are not able to decide.

¹⁴kai aatmaaen abhi tak bhi sambandh-samparka mein hai,bahut achha,bahut achha kehti rehti hai lekin parmaatma pahchaan va parakhne ki shakti na hone kaaran nirnay nahin kar sakte ki kya banna hai va kya karna hai ।

¹⁵Some souls who are still in relationship and contact, continue to say, “This is very good, this is very good”, but because they neither have the recognition of God nor the power of discernment, they are unable to decide what they have to become and what they have to do.

¹⁵isliye brahman-jeevan dhaaran nahin kar sakte।

¹⁶This is why they are unable to adopt the Brahmin life.

¹⁶sahajyogi bante hai lekin sahaj yogi jeevan nahin bana sakte। ¹⁷kyonki donon shaktiyaan nahin hai, isliye holeehans nahin ban sakte।

¹⁷They become co­ operative but they are unable to create an easy yogi life because they do not have the two powers that have just been mentioned.

¹⁸pavitrata roopi moti aur apvitrata roopi kankad - donon ko alag nahin samajhte to pavitrata ko grahan karne ki shakti nahin aa sakti ।

¹⁸This is why they are unable to become holy swans. ¹⁹They do not consider purity, the form of pearls, to be distinct from impurity, the form of pebbles, and this is why they are unable to have the power to imbibe purity.

¹⁹to holeehans ki visheshta hai - pahli shakti 'parakhna'arthaat pahchaanna।

²⁰So, the speciality of holy swans is firstly to have the power of discernment, that is, of recognition.

²⁰aap holi hanso mein yeh donon shaktiyaan hai na?

²¹Do all of you holy swans have both these powers?

²¹kyonki baap ko pahchaana, apne-aapko bhi pahchaana, nirnay bhi theek kiya tab to brahman bane aur chal rahe ho।

²²You have recognized Baba, you have recognized yourself and you have taken an accurate decision, and this is why you have become Brahmins and are moving forward.

²²is baat mein to sab pakke paas ho।

²³All of you have definitely passed in this.

²³lekin jo seva karte ho aur karma mein aate ho,saare din ki dincharya mein jo karma karte ho,sambandh-samparka mein aate ho,usmein saphaltaapoorvak har karma rahe va har samparka vaali aatma ke sambandh mein aane mein sada saphalta rahe ।

²⁴However, there should be the experience of success in every action in the service you do and the actions you perform, in the actions of your whole timetable throughout the day and when you come into relationship and connection. ²⁵The souls who come into connection should experience success in the relationship with you.

²⁴har prakaar ki seva mansa-vaacha-karmana - teenon mein sada saphalta anubhav ho, uska bhi aadhaar 'parakhne ki shakti' aur nirnay karne ki shakti' hai ।

²⁶There should constantly be the experience of success in every type of service you do, whether it is through the mind, words or actions. ²⁷The basis of this is the powers of discernment and decision­making.

²⁵ismen full paas ho?

²⁸Have you fully passed in this?

²⁶seva ki saphalta va samparka mein saphalta sada na hone ka kaaran check karo - to kaarya ko,vyakti ko,aatma ko parakhne ki shakti mein antar pad jaata hai।

²⁹Check the reasons for not being constantly successful in service and relationships. ³⁰So, there is a difference in having the power to discern the task, the person and the soul.

²⁷jis aatma ko jis samay jis vidhipoorvak sahayog chaahiye va shiksha chaahiye,sneh chaahiye, us samay agar parakhne ki shakti teevra hai to avashya sambandh mein saphalta praapta hogi।

³¹If your power of discernment is sharp at the time when a soul needs co­operation in a certain way, or if he needs certain instructions or he needs love, you would definitely be able to achieve success in that relationship.

²⁸lekin hota kya hai – jis aatma ko jo sahayog va vidhi us samay chaahiye vo na dekar va na parakhne kaaran apne dhang se usko sahayog dete ho va vidhi apnaate ho,isliye santushtata ki saphalta nahin hoti।

³²However, what happens is that because you neither discern nor give the type of co­operation or the method needed at that time, but you give him co­operation according to your own way or you adopt your own method, there isn't success in the form of contentment.

²⁹jaise shaareerik beemaari ko parakhne ki doctor ko vidhi na aaye to kya hota hai?

³³For instance, what happens when a doctor doesn't know the way to diagnose your physical illness?

³⁰theek hone ke bajaae ek se anek rog aur paida ho jaate hai।

³⁴Instead of your getting well, there are many more illnesses created from that one illness.

³¹peshent ko santushtata ki saphalta nahin milti।

³⁵The patient does not receive the success in the form of contentment.

³²jisko saadhaaran shabdo mein baapdaada kehte hai ki har ek ki nabja ko pahchaano। ³³chalna aur chalaana bhi zaroori hai।

³⁶In simple words, BapDada says: Recognise each one's pulse. ³⁷It is necessary for you to move along and make others move along too.

³⁴to kya karna padega?

³⁸What will you have to do?

³⁵pahchaanne arthaat parakhne ki shakti ko teevra karna pade।

³⁹You have to increase the power to recognise, that is, the power to discern.

³⁶ismen antar jaata hai jisko aap saadhaaran bhaasha mein kehte ho - handling ka pharka। ³⁷kehte ho na - inki handling puraani hai, inki nai hai… ।

⁴⁰There is a difference in this. ⁴¹In simple words, you say that there is a difference in the handling: This one's handling is the old way, that one's handling is the new way.

⁴⁴On the whole, you have the power to discern, but there is still a need for detailed and unlimited power of discernment. ⁴⁵How much power to imbibe does the soul have at that moment? ⁴⁶What is the atmosphere like? ⁴⁷What is the mood of the soul when listening or taking instructions?

⁴¹jaise koi kamzor shareer vaala ho aur usko jyaada-se-jyaada taakat ka injection de dete to kya haalat hoti? ⁴²peshent ke bajaaye peshens ho jaata hai, heartfail ho jaayega, shanti mein chala jaata।

⁴⁸If someone who has a weak body is given an injection of maximum strength, what would happen? ⁴⁹Instead of being a patient, he would become 'patience' (state of stillness); the heart would fail, would it not? ⁵⁰He would go into silence.

⁴³aise agar sambandh mein aane vaali aatma kamzor hai,aatma mein himmat nahin hai lekin aap usko shiksha ka dose dete jaao, uska mood, samay,vaayumandal parakh na sake to result kya hoti?

⁵¹Similarly, if a soul who comes into relationship with you is weak, if that soul doesn’t have courage at that time, and you keep giving a dose of teachings, if you have not been able to discern that soul's mood, the time and the atmosphere, what would the result be?

⁴⁴ek to dilshikasta ho jaata aur shakti na hone kaaran grahan nahin kar sakta,aur hi jidda aur siddha karne mein uchhalta hai।

⁵²Firstly, he would lose hope, and because he does not have any power, he would not be able to imbibe anything. ⁵³Instead, he would be in a turmoil of stubbornness and trying to prove himself right.

⁴⁵aapne to achhi bhaavna se kiya lekin saphalta na milne ka kaaran parakhne aur nirnay karne ki shakti kam hai, isliye saphaltaamoorta banne mein percentage ho jaati।

⁵⁴Whatever you did, you did with good intentions, but the reason for a lack of success is the lack of powers of discerning and judging. ⁵⁵This is why there is a percentage in becoming an embodiment of success.

⁴⁶to saare din ke karma aur samay mein parakhne ki shakti ki aavashyakta hui na।

⁵⁶In actions and in relationships throughout the day, there is a need for the power of discernment, is there not?

⁴⁷isliye shiksha bhal do lekin sab baaton ko parakhkar phir kadam uthaao।

⁵⁷By all means give teachings, but only take that step after having discerned all that you have been told.

⁴⁸aise hi seva ke kshetra mein bhi agar aatmaon ki aavashyakta aur ichchha parakhne ke bina kitna bhi achha gyaan de do,kitni bhi mehnat kar lo lekin saphalta nahin hogi।

⁵⁸Therefore, on the field of service, if you do not discern the other soul's desires and needs, no matter how much clear knowledge you give, no matter how much effort you make on that soul, there will not be success.

⁴⁹'achha-achha'kehna to ek reeti-rasam ho gai hai kyonki aap koi buri baat to kehte bhi nahin ho।

⁵⁹It has also become a custom to say, 'Achcha, achcha' (it is good, it is good), because you do not say anything bad anyway.

⁵⁰lekin jo saphalta ka lakshya rakhte ho, usmein sameep anubhav karo, uske liye parakhne ki shakti ati aavashyak hai।

⁶⁰In order to experience closeness to your aim of having success, the power of discernment is extremely necessary.

⁵¹jaise koi mukti ka ichchhuk hai aur usko aap jeevan mukti aur mukti - donon bhi de do lekin woh ruchi nahin rakhega।

⁶¹If someone has a desire to claim liberation and you give him both, that is, liberation and liberation­in­life, he will not have that much interest.

⁵²paani ke pyaase ko ३६ prakaar ka bhojan de do lekin woh santushta paani ki boond se hi hoga, na ki bhojan se।

⁶²You can give 36 varieties of food to someone who is thirsty, but he will only be satisfied with just a drop of water, not with the food.

⁵³to mukti ke ichchhuk ko agar usko mukti ke baare mein spashteekran denge to uski ichchha bhi badhegi aur jeevanmukti mein parivartan bhi ho jaayenge।

⁶³So, if you discern those who have a desire for liberation and you give them clarification about liberation, then their desire will increase and it might even change into liberation­in­life.

⁵⁴kisko dhaarna ki baate sunna achha lagta hai,usko aap kalpa ५००० varsha ka va geeta ka bhagwan kaun - yeh bataana shuru kar do to aur hi interest khatma ho jaayega।

⁶⁴Some like to listen to things of dharna; if you start telling them about the duration of the cycle being 5000 years or about the God of the Gita, their interest will end.

⁵⁵isliye seva mein bhi aatma ki sthiti va uski aastha kya hai - usko parakhna aavashyak hai।

⁶⁵Therefore, the basis of success in service is the need to discern the stage and interest of the soul. ⁶⁶It is necessary to discern this.

⁵⁶to seva mein saphalta ka aadhaar kis shakti hua?

⁶⁷So, on the basis of which power is there success in service?

⁵⁷parakhne ki shakti chaahiye।

⁶⁸You need the power to discern.

⁵⁸chaahe agyaani aatmaon ki seva, chaahe seva-saathiyon ki seva - donon mein saphalta ka aadhaar ek hi hai।

⁶⁹Whether you are serving souls without this knowledge or your service companions, the basis of success in serving both is the same.

⁵⁹to holeehans ki visheshta - sabse pahle parakhne ki shakti ko badhaao।

⁷⁰So, first of all, increase the power to discern, the speciality of a holy swan.

⁶⁰parakhne ki shakti yathaartha hai, shreshtha hai to nirnay bhi yathaartha hoga aur aap jisko jo dena chaahte hai woh usmein grahan karne ki shakti svatah hi hogi। ⁶¹aur kya ban jaayenge?

⁷¹If your power to discern is accurate and elevated, your decision will also be accurate. ⁷²And whatever you wish to give anyone, that soul will automatically have the power to imbibe it.

⁶²number one saphaltaamoorta।

⁷³So, what will you become?

⁶³to chaahe seva mein, chaahe sambandh mein lakshya ko praapta karne ke liye is lakshan ko dhaaran karo । ⁶⁴to saare din mein yeh check karo - saare din ki dincharya mein parakhne ki shakti kahaan tak yathaartha hui aur kahaan correction-addition karne ki aavashyakta rahi? ⁶⁵karne ke baad correction apne-aap hoti zaroor hai kyonki divya buddhi ka vardaan sabko mila hua hai । ⁶⁶chaahe samasya ke vash va samay se, paristhiti ke vash va koi aatmaon ke sang ke vash va maaya dvaara manmat ke vash, us samay ho jaate hain lekin samay, paristhiti,sang ka prabhaav, manmat ka prabhaav jab halka ho jaata hai, phir divya-buddhi apna kaam karti hai,jisko aap log kehte ho 'josh se hosh'mein aa gaye।

⁷⁴A number one embodiment of success.

⁶⁷phir mahsoos hota hai ki yeh correction va addition honi chaahiye thi va karni hai ।

⁷⁵So, whether in service or in relationships, in order to achieve your aim, adopt this characteristic.

⁶⁸lekin register mein va karmon ke hisaab ke kitaab mein daag nahin, lekin bindi to pad gai, bilkul saaph to nahin raha na।

⁷⁶Check throughout the day: to what extent was the power of discernment accurate in the timetable of the whole day? ⁷⁷And, where was there a need for correction and addition?

⁶⁹isliye kaha jata hai - 'karmon ki leela ati guhya hai। ⁷⁰teachers to karmon ki leela ko achhi reeti jaan gai hai na।

⁷⁸After doing that, there definitely is automatic correction because everyone has definitely received the blessing of a divine intellect.

⁷¹teachers saara din kya geet gaati hai ki vaah mere shreshtha karmon ki leela' karmon ki gahan gati ki leela nahin, shreshtha karmon ki leela। ⁷²duniya vaale to har karma mein, har kadam mein karmon ko hi kootte rehte hain ki 'haay mere karma!

⁷⁹If you are under the influence of any circumstance or situation according to the time, under the influence of the company of any soul, or under the influence of the dictates of your own mind due to Maya, you are at that time under many external influences.

⁷³'aap kahenge - 'vaah shreshtha karma'! ⁷⁴ab yeh aage badho ki sada vaah shreshtha karma' ho,saadhaaran karma nahin।

⁸⁰However, when the influences of the time, circumstances, company or the dictates of the mind become light, the divine intellect then does its own work.

⁷⁵karmon ko kootna to khatma ho gaya lekin shreshtha karma ho ismen underline karna।

⁸¹You people call this becoming aware after having had feelings filled with force.

⁷⁶agar mix karma hai- saadhaaran bhi hai,shreshtha bhi hai to saphalta bhi mix ho jaati hai ।

⁸²Then there is the feeling that you should have done this correction or addition or that you have to do it.

⁷⁷abhi vishesh attention yeh dena hai ki saadhaaranta ko visheshta mein parivartan karo।

⁸³OK, there is no mark in the register or the account book of karma, but there is a spot (dot).

⁷⁸is par bhi kabhi sunaayenge ki baapdaada har ek ki roz ki dincharya mein kya-kya dekhte hai ।

⁸⁴It is no longer completely clean, is it? ⁸⁵This is why it is said that the philosophy of action is extremely deep.

⁷⁹saadhaaranta kitni hai aur visheshta kitni - yeh result dekhte rehte hai ।

⁸⁶You teachers know the wonderful game of karma very well, do you not?

⁸⁰baapdaada ke paas dekhne ke saadhan itne hai jo ek hi samay desh-videsh ke sabhi bachchon ko dekh sakte hai ।

⁸⁷What song do teachers sing throughout the day? ⁸⁸You sing the song: Wah, the wonder of my elevated karma!

⁸¹alag-alag dekhne ki aavashyakta nahin, ५ minute mein sabka pata lag jaata।

⁸⁹It is not the song of the deep philosophy of karma, it is the wonder of elevated karma.

⁸²bachchon ke vaah-vaah' ke geet bhi gaate hai, saath-saath samaan banne ki em se check bhi karte hain ।

⁹⁰There, people of the world repent their every action at every step, saying, 'Hai karma, hai karma' (suffering of action.)

⁸³sunaaya tha na ki baap ke sneh va baap ki pahchaan- ismen to sab paas ho aur kabhi-kabhi to kamaal ke kaam bhi karte ho।

⁹¹And what will you say: Wah, the elevated karma! ⁹²Now, simply move forward in this and let it constantly be: 'Wah, the elevated karma’, not ordinary action.

⁸⁴achhi kamaal hai,na ki dhamaal vaali kamaal। ⁸⁵koi-koi bachche dhamaal ki bhi kamaal karte hain na!

⁹³You have stopped repenting for actions, but you now have to underline performing elevated actions.

⁸⁶hoti dhamaal hai lekin kehte hain - yeh to hamaari kamaal hai। ⁸⁷isliye baapdaada kehte - parakhne ki shakti ko badhaao।

⁹⁴If there are mixed actions, ordinary as well as elevated, then the success is also mixed.

⁸⁸apne karmon ko bhi parakh sakegen aur doosron ke karmon ko bhi yathaartha parakh sakenge।

⁹⁵The special attention you now have to pay is to transform the ordinary into something special.

⁸⁹ulte ko sulta nahin kahenge। ⁹⁰woh parakhne ki shakti ki kami hai।

⁹⁶BapDada will speak at some other time about what He sees in each one’s daily timetable.

⁹⁷To what extent is there just the ordinary and to what extent is there the speciality?

⁹⁵yeh nishaani hai vasheebhoot buddhi ki।

⁹⁸He continues to see this result.

⁹⁶aise samay par sadaiv ek baapdaada ki shreshtha mat yaad rakho ki jinhon ko baap ne nimitta banaaya hai woh nimitta aatmaaen jo direction deti hai, usko mahatva dena chaahiye ।

⁹⁹BapDada has so many instruments that He is able to see all the children of this land and abroad at the same time. ¹⁰⁰There is no need to see them all separately. ¹⁰¹He can know about everyone in 5 minutes.

⁹⁷us samay yeh nahin socho ki nimitta bane hue shaayad koi ke kahne se kah rahe hai। ⁹⁸ismen dhokha kha lete ho।

¹⁰²He sings the songs of wonder of the children, and, together with that, He also checks it against your aim of becoming the same as He is.

⁹⁹nimitta bane hue shreshtha aatmaon dvaara jo shiksha va direction milte hai।

¹⁰³You have also heard previously that all of you have passed in having love for the Father and in recognising the Father.

¹⁰⁰usko us samay mahatva dene se agar koi buri baat bhi hogi to aap jimmevaar nahin। ¹⁰¹jaise brahma baap ke liye sada kehte hain ki agar brahma dvaara koi galti bhi hogi to woh galti bhi badal ke aapke prati sahi ho jaayengi। ¹⁰²to aise nimitta bani hui aatmaon prati kabhi bhi yeh vyartha sankalp nahin uthna chaahiye। ¹⁰³maano koi aisa phaisla bhi de dete hain jo aapko theek nahin lagta hai।

¹⁰⁴And, sometimes, you even perform tasks of wonder (kamaal)!

¹⁰⁴lekin aap usmein jimmevaar nahin hai। ¹⁰⁵aapka paap nahin banega।

¹⁰⁵You perform good wonders, not wonders with chaos (dhamaal).

¹⁰⁶aapka kaam theek ho jaayega।

¹⁰⁶Some children perform wonders of chaos.

¹⁰⁷kyonki baap baitha hai। ¹⁰⁸baap,paap ko badal lega।

¹⁰⁷It is chaos, but they say: No, this is our wonder.

¹⁰⁹yeh guhya rahasya hai । ¹¹⁰gupta machinery hai।

¹⁰⁸This is why BapDada says: Increase your power to discern.

¹¹¹isliye nimitta bani hui shreshtha aatmaon ke shreshtha direction ko mahatva se kaarya mein lagaao।

¹⁰⁹You will then be able to discern your actions and also discern the actions of others accurately.

¹¹²ismen aapka phaayda hai, nuksaan bhi badalkar phaayde mein ho jaayenga।

¹¹⁹aise hi nimitta nahin banaaya hai, soch-samajh ke drama ke law-mujeeb nimitta banaaya gaya hai । ¹²⁰samjha? ¹²¹teachers ko achha lagta hai na।

¹¹³When such a situation arises, that is, when you are under an external influence, what is the elevated method to attain success in that situation?

¹²²inmen phaayda hai,bojha halka ho gaya। ¹²³koi bhi baat aayegi to kahenge – nimitta bane hue bade jaane।

¹¹⁴When you perform such an action, your intellect is under an influence at that time, and that is why you consider that which is wrong to be right.
