¹Essence: Sweet children, you come to the Father to be refreshed. ²You remain distant from worldly vibrations here and you receive the company of the Truth.

²prashn:- baba bachchon ki unnati ke liye sada kaun-si ek raay dete hain?

³Question: Which advice does Baba constantly give to you children for your progress?

³uttar:- meethe bachche, kabhi bhi aapas mein sansaari jharmui jhagmui ki baaten nahin karo।

⁴Answer: Sweet children, never gossip about worldly things among yourselves. ⁵When someone comes to tell you anything, listen but do not hear.

⁴koi sunaata hai to suni-ansuni kar do। ⁵achhe bachche apne service ki duty poori kar baba ki yaad mein masta rehte hain।

⁶Good children fulfil their service duty and remain engrossed in remembrance of Baba.

⁶parantu kai bachche phaaltu vyartha baaten bahut khushi se sunte-sunaate hain, ismen bahut samay barbaad jaata hai, phir unnati nahin hoti।

⁷However, some children talk about and listen to useless, wasteful matters with great happiness. ⁸A lot of time is wasted in this and there is then no progress.

⁹Om shanti.

⁸double om shanti kahen to bhi right hai।

¹⁰Even if “Double Om shanti” is said, that is right.

⁹bachchon ko arth to samjha diya hai।

¹¹The meaning has been explained to you children.

¹⁰main hoon aatma shant swaroop।

¹²I am a peaceful soul.

¹¹jab mera dharma hai hi shant to phir jangalon aadi mein bhatakne se shanti nahin mil sakti hai।

¹³Since my religion is peace, I cannot find peace by wandering around in the forests.

¹²baap kehte hain main bhi shant swaroop hoon।

¹⁴The Father says: I am peaceful.

¹³yeh to bahut sahaj hai parantu maaya ki ladaai hone ke kaaran thodi difficulty hoti hai।

¹⁵This is very easy but, because of the war with Maya, there is a little difficulty.

¹⁴yeh sab bachche jaante hain ki sivaae behad ke baap ke yeh gyaan koi de na sake।

¹⁶You children know that no one, apart from the unlimited Father, can give this knowledge.

¹⁵gyaan saagar ek hi baap hai।

¹⁷Only the one Father is the Ocean of Knowledge.

¹⁶dehdhaariyon ko gyaan ka saagar kabhi nahin kaha ja sakta।

¹⁸Bodily beings can never be called oceans of knowledge.

¹⁷rachayita hi rachna ke aadi-madhya-ant ka gyaan dete hain।

¹⁹Only the Creator gives the knowledge of the beginning, middle and end of creation.

¹⁸woh tum bachchon ko mil raha hai।

²⁰You children are now receiving that.

¹⁹kai achhe ananya bachche bhi bhool jaate hain kyonki baap ki yaad paare misal hai।

²¹Even some very good, special children forget this because remembrance of the Father is like mercury.

²⁰school mein to zaroor nambarvaar honge na।

²²Students in a school would definitely be numberwise.

²¹number hamesha school ke gine jaate hain।

²³There are always numbers given at school.

²²satayug mein kabhi number nahin gina jaata।

²⁴In the golden age, you would never give a number.

²³yeh school hai, ise samajhne mein bhi badi buddhi chaahiye।

²⁵This is a school and a vast intellect is needed to understand these things.

²⁴aadha-kalpa hoti hai bhakti, phir bhakti ke baad gyaan saagar aate hain gyaan dene।

²⁶For half the cycle, there is devotion, and then, after devotion, the Ocean of Knowledge comes to give this knowledge.

²⁵bhakti maarga vaale kab gyaan de na saken kyonki sab dehdhaari hain।

²⁷Those of the path of devotion can never give this knowledge because they are all bodily beings.

²⁶aise nahin kahenge - shivbaaba bhakti karte hain।

²⁸You wouldn’t say that Shiv Baba performs devotion.

²⁷woh kiski bhakti karenge!

²⁹Whom would He perform devotion to?

²⁸ek hi baap hai, jisko deh nahin hai। ²⁹woh kiski bhakti nahin karte।

³⁰It is only the one Father who doesn’t have a body of His own.

³⁰baaki jo dehdhaari hain, woh sab bhakti karte hain kyonki rachna hai na।

³¹He does not worship anyone, but all human beings worship someone because they are creations.

³¹rachayita hai ek baap। ³²baaki in aankhon se jo bhi dekha jaata hai, chitra aadi, woh sab hain rachna।

³²Only the one Father is the Creator whereas whatever else you see with your eyes, all the pictures etc., all of that is part of creation.

³³yeh baaten ghadi-ghadi bhool jaati hain।

³³All of these things are repeatedly forgotten.

³⁴baap samjhaate hain tumko behad ka varsa baap bigar to mil na sake।

³⁴The Father explains: Without the Father, you cannot receive the unlimited inheritance.

³⁵baikuntha ki baadshaahi to tumko milti hai।

³⁵You receive the sovereignty of Paradise.

³⁶5 hazaar varsha pahle bhaarat mein inhon ka raajya tha।

³⁶There used to be their kingdom in Bharat 5000 years ago.

³⁷2500 varsha sooryavanshi-chandravanshiyon ki raajdhaani chali।

³⁷The sun and moon dynasties continued for 2500 years.

³⁸tum bachche hi jaante ho yeh to kal ki baat hai।

³⁸Only you children know that this is just a matter of yesterday.

³⁹sivaae baap ke aur koi bata na sake।

³⁹No one, apart from the Father, can tell you anything.

⁴⁰patit-paavan woh baap hi hai।

⁴⁰Only that one Father is the Purifier.

⁴¹samjhaane mein bhi badi mehnat lagti hai।

⁴¹It takes a lot of time to explain.

⁴²baap khud kehte hain koton mein koi samjhenge।

⁴²The Father Himself says: Only a handful out of multimillions will understand.

⁴³yeh chakra bhi samjhaaya gaya hai।

⁴⁴yeh saari duniya ke liye knowledge hai।

⁴⁷aage chalkar sabko yeh baaten pasanda aayengi।

⁴⁷As you progress further, everyone will like these things.

⁴⁸tum bachchon ko samjhaana hai।

⁴⁸You children have to explain to others.

⁴⁹baba to kiske paas nahin jaayenge।

⁴⁹Baba will not go to anyone.

⁵⁰bhagvaanuvaach - jo pujaari hain unko kabhi poojya nahin kah sakte।

⁵⁰God speaks: Those who are worshippers cannot be called worthy of worship.

⁵¹kaliyug mein ek bhi koi pavitra ho na sake।

⁵¹Not a single person in the iron age is pure.

⁵²poojya devi-devta dharma ki sthaapna bhi sabse oonch te oonch jo poojya hain vahi karte hain।

⁵²Establishment of the worthy-of-worship deity religion is carried out by those who are the highest on high, worthy of worship.

⁵³aadhaakalpa hai poojya phir aadhaakalpa pujaari hote hain।

⁵³They are worthy of worship for half a cycle and worshippers for half a cycle.

⁵⁴is baba ne dher guru kiye, abhi samajhte hain guru karna to bhakti maarga tha।

⁵⁴This Baba adopted many gurus, and he now understands that to adopt gurus belongs to the path of devotion.

⁵⁵abhi satguru mila hai, jo poojya banaate hain।

⁵⁵He has now found the Satguru who makes him worthy of worship.

⁵⁶sirf ek ko nahin, sabko banaate hain।

⁵⁶He doesn’t make just one person this, He makes all of you this.

⁵⁷aatmaayen sabki poojya satopradhaan ban jaati hain।

⁵⁷All souls become worthy of worship, satopradhan.

⁵⁸ab to tamopradhaan, pujaari hain।

⁵⁸Now, they are tamopradhan worshippers.

⁵⁹yeh points samajhne ki hain।

⁵⁹These points have to be understood.

⁶⁰baba kehte hain kaliyug mein ek bhi pavitra poojya nahin ho sakta hai।

⁶⁰Baba says: In the iron age, there cannot be a single one who is pure or worthy of worship.

⁶¹sab vikaar se janma lete hain।

⁶¹Everyone takes birth through vice.

⁶²raavan raajya hai।

⁶²It is the kingdom of Ravan.

⁶³yeh lakshmi-naaraayan bhi punarjanma lete hain parantu woh hain poojya kyonki vahaan raavan hi nahin।

⁶³Even Lakshmi and Narayan take rebirth, but they are worthy of worship because Ravan doesn’t exist there.

⁶⁴akshar kehte hain parantu raamraajya kab aur raavan raajya kab hota hai, yeh kuchh bhi pata nahin hai।

⁶⁴People speak of these things but they don’t know when the kingdom of Rama exists or when the kingdom of Ravan exists.

⁶⁵is samay dekho kitni sabhaayen hai। ⁶⁶phalaani sabha, phalaani sabha।

⁶⁵Look how many sabhas (political parties) there are at this time: Such-and-such Sabha, such-and-such Sabha.

⁶⁷kahaan se kuchh mila to ek ko chhod doosre taraph chale jaate hain।

⁶⁶When they receive something from someone, they leave one and go to the other.

⁶⁸tum is samay paarasbuddhi ban rahe ho।

⁶⁷At this time you are becoming those with divine intellects.

⁶⁹phir usmein bhi koi 20 percent bane hain, koi 50 percent bane hain।

⁶⁸In that too, some become 20 percent this, others become 50 percent this.

⁷⁰baap ne samjhaaya hai yeh raajdhaani sthaapan ho rahi hai।

⁶⁹The Father has explained that a kingdom is being established.

⁷¹abhi oopar se bhi bachi hui aatmaayen aa rahi hain।

⁷⁰Souls who are still left up above are also coming down.

⁷²circus mein koi achhe-achhe actors bhi hote hain to koi halke bhi hote hain।

⁷¹In a circus, some are very good actors (performers) whereas others are ordinary.

⁷³yeh hai behad ki baat।

⁷²This is a matter of the unlimited.

⁷⁴bachchon ko kitna achhi reeti samjhaaya jaata hai।

⁷³Everything is explained to you children so well.

⁷⁵yahaan tum bachche aate ho refresh hone ke liye, na ki hava khaane ke liye।

⁷⁴You children come here to be refreshed, not just to sit around idly.

⁷⁶koi pattharbuddhi ko le aate hain, to woh duniyaavi vibration mein rehte hain।

⁷⁵Some bring others who have such stone intellects that they remain constantly in those worldly vibrations.

⁷⁷abhi tum bachche baap ki shreemat se maaya par vijay praapta karte ho।

⁷⁶You children are now gaining victory over Maya by following the Father’s shrimat.

⁷⁸maaya ghadi-ghadi tumhaari buddhi ko bhaga deti hai।

⁷⁷Maya repeatedly makes your intellects run in other directions.

⁷⁹yahaan to baba kashish karte hain।

⁷⁸Here, Baba pulls it.

⁸⁰baba kabhi bhi koi ulti baat nahin karenge।

⁷⁹Baba would never say anything wrong.

⁸¹baap to satya hai na।

⁸⁰The Father is the Truth.

⁸²tum yahaan sat ke sang mein baithe ho।

⁸¹You are sitting here in the company of the Truth.

⁸³doosre sab asat sang mein hain।

⁸²All others are in the company of falsehood.

⁸⁴unko satsang kehna bhi badi bhool hai। ⁸⁵tum jaante ho sat ek hi baap hai।

⁸³It is a great mistake to call that a satsang (company of truth, spiritual gathering).

⁸⁶manushya sat paramatma ki pooja karte hain lekin yeh pata nahin ki ham kiski pooja karte hain।

⁸⁴You know that only the one Father is the Truth. ⁸⁵People worship the true Supreme Soul, but they don’t know whom they are worshipping.

⁸⁷to unko kahenge andhashradha।

⁸⁶Therefore, that would be called blind faith.

⁸⁸aagaakhaan ke dekho kitne followers hain।

⁸⁷Look how many followers the Aga Khan has.

⁸⁹ve jab kahaan jaate hain to unko bahut bhenta milti hai।

⁸⁸Whenever he goes anywhere, he receives a lot of gifts.

⁹⁰heeron mein vazan karte hain।

⁸⁹He is even weighed against diamonds.

⁹¹nahin to heeron mein vazan kabhi kiya nahin ja sakta।

⁹⁰Generally, one would never be weighed against diamonds.

⁹²satayug mein heere javaahar to tumhaare liye jaise patthar hain jo makaanon mein lagaate hain।

⁹¹In the golden age, jewels and diamonds are like stones for you and you continue to put these up on the buildings.

⁹³yahaan koi aisa nahin hai, jisko heeron ka daan mile।

⁹²Here, there is no one who would be given diamonds in donation.

⁹⁴manushyon ke paas bahut paise hain isliye daan karte hain।

⁹³Some people have a lot of money and this is why they donate it.

⁹⁵parantu woh daan paap aatmaon ko karne kaaran dene vaale par bhi chadhta hai। ⁹⁶ajaamil jaisi paap aatmaayen ban padte hain।

⁹⁴However, because that donation is made to those who are sinful souls, the one who gives the donation also accumulates that karma. ⁹⁵They become sinful souls like Ajamil.

⁹⁷yeh bhagwan baith samjhaate hain, na ki manushya isliye baba ne kaha tha tumhaare jo chitra hain un par hamesha likha hua ho - bhagvaanuvaach।

⁹⁶It is God, not a human being, who is sitting here and explaining to you. ⁹⁷This is why Baba has said: Your pictures should always have written on them: God speaks.

⁹⁸hamesha likho trimoorti shiv bhagvaanuvaach।

⁹⁸Always write: Trimurti God Shiva speaks.

⁹⁹sirf bhagwan kahne se bhi manushya moonjhenge।

⁹⁹Even when you just say “God”, people become confused.

¹⁰⁰bhagwan to hai niraakaar, isliye trimoorti zaroor likhna hai।

¹⁰⁰God is incorporeal and this is why you definitely have to write: Trimurti.

¹⁰¹usmein sirf shivbaaba nahin hai। ¹⁰²brahma, vishnu, shankar teenon hi naam hain।

¹⁰¹There isn’t just Shiv Baba in that; there are three names: Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar.

¹⁰³brahma devta namah, phir unko guru bhi kehte hain।

¹⁰²Salutations to deity Brahma, and then they also call him Guru.

¹⁰⁴shiv-shankar ek kah dete hain।

¹⁰³They speak of Shiva and Shankar as one.

¹⁰⁵ab shankar kaise gyaan denge।

¹⁰⁴How would Shankar give you knowledge?

¹⁰⁶amraktha bhi hai।

¹⁰⁵There is also the story of immortality.

¹⁰⁷tum sab paarvatiyaan hon।

¹⁰⁶All of you are Parvatis.

¹⁰⁸baap tum sab bachchon ko aatma samajh gyaan dete hain।

¹⁰⁷The Father gives all of you this knowledge while considering you to be souls.

¹⁰⁹bhakti ka phal bhagwan hi dete hain।

¹⁰⁸God alone gives you the fruit of your devotion.

¹¹⁰ek shivbaaba hai, eeshvar bhagwan aadi bhi nahin।

¹⁰⁹There is just Shiv Baba, not even Ishwar, or Bhagawan etc.

¹¹¹shivbaaba akshar bahut meetha hai।

¹¹⁰The words “Shiv Baba” are very sweet.

¹¹²baap khud kehte hain meethe bachchon, to baba hua na।

¹¹¹The Father Himself says: Sweet children, and so He is Baba, is He not?

¹¹³baap samjhaate hain - aatmaon mein hi sanskaar bhare jaate hain।

¹¹²The Father explains that souls are filled with sanskars.

¹¹⁴aatma nirlep nahin hai।

¹¹³Souls are not immune to the effect of action.

¹¹⁵nirlemp hoti to patit kyon banti!

¹¹⁴If a soul were immune, how would he become impure?

¹¹⁶zaroor lep-chhep lagta hai tab to patit banti hai। ¹¹⁷kehte bhi hain bhrashtaachaari।

¹¹⁵He is definitely affected because this is why he becomes impure; he also becomes corrupt.

¹¹⁸devtaayen hain shreshthaachaari।

¹¹⁶Deities are elevated.

¹¹⁹unhon ki mahima gaate hain aap sarvagun sampanna ho, ham neench paapi hain isliye apne ko devta kah nahin sakte hain।

¹¹⁷Their praise is sung: You are full of all virtues whereas we are degraded sinners. ¹¹⁸Therefore, you cannot call yourselves deities.

¹²⁰ab baap baith manushyon ko devta banaate hain।

¹¹⁹The Father now sits here and changes human beings into deities.

¹²¹guroonaanak ke bhi granth mein mahima hai।

¹²⁰There is this praise in the Granth by Guru Nanak.

¹²²sikkha log kehte hain sat shri akaal।

¹²¹The Sikhs say: Sat Shri Akaal.

¹²³jo akaal moorta hai, vahi sachcha satguru hai।

¹²²The One who is the Immortal Image is the true Satguru.

¹²⁴to us ek ko hi maanna chaahiye।

¹²³So, you should only believe that One.

¹²⁵kehte ek hain, karte phir doosra hain।

¹²⁴They say one thing and do something else.

¹²⁶arth kuchh bhi jaante nahin hain।

¹²⁵They don’t know the meaning of anything.

¹²⁷ab baap jo satguru hai, akaal hai, woh khud baith samjhaate hain।

¹²⁶The Father who is the Satguru, the Immortal One, sits here and explains to you.

¹²⁸tumhaare mein bhi nambarvaar hain।

¹²⁷You are numberwise.

¹²⁹sammukh baithe hain to bhi kuchh nahin samajhte hain। ¹³⁰kai yahaan se nikle aur khalaas।

¹²⁸Even though some of you are sitting personally in front here, you don’t understand anything.

¹³¹baba mana karte hain - bachche, kabhi bhi sansaari jharmui jhagmui ki baaten nahin suno।

¹²⁹As soon as some of you leave here, everything is finished. ¹³⁰Baba forbids you children to listen to worldly gossip.

¹³²kai to bahut khushi se aisi baaten sunte aur sunaate hain।

¹³¹Some children very happily listen to and talk about such things.

¹³³baap ke mahaavaakya bhool jaate hain।

¹³²They forget the elevated versions of the Father.

¹³⁴vaastav mein jo achhe bachche hain, woh apni service ki duty bajaakar phir apni masti mein rehte hain।

¹³³In fact, those who are good children would complete their service duty and then remain lost in their own intoxication.

¹³⁵baba ne samjhaaya hai shreekrishna aur Christian ka bada achha sambandh hai।

¹³⁴Baba has explained that Shri Krishna and the Christians have a very good connection.

¹³⁶shreekrishna ki raajaai hoti hai na।

¹³⁵There is the kingdom of Shri Krishna.

¹³⁷lakshmi-naaraayan baad mein naam padta hai।

¹³⁶Their names become Lakshmi and Narayan later.

¹³⁸baikuntha kahne se jhat shreekrishna yaad aayega।

¹³⁷As soon as you say “Paradise”, you instantly remember Shri Krishna.

¹³⁹lakshmi-naaraayan bhi yaad nahin aate hain kyonki chhota bachcha shreekrishna hai।

¹³⁸You don’t even remember Lakshmi and Narayan because the little child is Shri Krishna.

¹⁴⁰chhota bachcha pavitra hota hai।

¹³⁹Little children are pure.

¹⁴¹tumne yeh bhi saakshaatkaar kiya hai - bachche kaise janma lete hain, nurse khadi rehti hai, jhat uthaaya, sambhaala।

¹⁴⁰You have had visions of how a baby takes birth there. ¹⁴¹The nurses are present there and they quickly pick up the baby and look after it.

¹⁴²bachpan, yuva, vriddha alag-alag part bajta hai, jo hua so drama।

¹⁴²The parts of childhood, youth, old age are different. ¹⁴³Whatever happens is said to be in the drama.

¹⁴³unmein kuchh bhi sankalp nahin chalte।

¹⁴⁴There are no thoughts about it.

¹⁴⁴yeh to drama bana hua hai na।

¹⁴⁵This drama is predestined.

¹⁴⁵hamaara bhi part baj raha hai drama ke plan anusaar।

¹⁴⁶My part is also being performed according to the drama plan.

¹⁴⁶maaya ki bhi praveshta hoti hai aur baap ki bhi praveshta hoti hai।

¹⁴⁷There is the incarnation of Maya and also the incarnation of the Father.

¹⁴⁷koi baap ki mat par chalte hain, koi raavan ki mat par।

¹⁴⁸Some follow the directions of the Father whereas others follow the directions of Ravan.

¹⁴⁸raavan kya cheez hai?

¹⁴⁹What is Ravan?

¹⁴⁹kabhi dekha hai kya?

¹⁵⁰Have you ever seen him?

¹⁵⁰sirf chitra dekhte ho।

¹⁵¹You have just seen his pictures.

¹⁵¹shivbaaba ka to phir yeh roop hai।

¹⁵³What is the form of Ravan?

¹⁵³5 vikaar roopi bhoot jab aakar pravesh karte hain tab raavan kaha jaata hai।

¹⁵⁴When the evil spirits of the five vices come, they are called Ravan.

¹⁵⁴yeh hai bhooton ki duniya, asuron ki duniya।

¹⁵⁵This is the world of evil spirits, the world of devils.

¹⁵⁵tum jaante ho hamaari aatma ab sudharti ja rahi hai।

¹⁵⁶You souls know that you are now being reformed.

¹⁵⁶yahaan to shareer bhi aasuri hain।

¹⁵⁷Here, even bodies are devilish.

¹⁵⁷aatma sudharte-sudharte paavan ho jaayegi।

¹⁵⁸You souls become pure as you gradually reform.

¹⁵⁸phir yeh khal utaar denge। ¹⁵⁹phir tumko satopradhaan khal (shareer) mil jaayegi।

¹⁵⁹You will then shed those bodies and receive satopradhan bodies.

¹⁶⁰kanchan kaaya milegi।

¹⁶⁰You will receive pure bodies.

¹⁶¹so tab jab aatma bhi kanchan ho।

¹⁶¹That will be when the souls are pure.

¹⁶²sona kanchan ho to jevar bhi kanchan banega।

¹⁶²When gold is pure, the jewellery made from it is also pure.

¹⁶³sone mein khaad bhi daalte hain।

¹⁶³They still put alloy into gold.

¹⁶⁴ab tum bachchon ki buddhi mein aadi-madhya-ant ki knowledge chakkar lagaati rehti hai।

¹⁶⁴The knowledge of the beginning, middle and end of the cycle continues to turn in the intellects of you children.

¹⁶⁵manushya kuchh bhi nahin jaante hain।

¹⁶⁵People do not know anything at all.

¹⁶⁶kehte hain rishi-muni sab neti-neti kar chale gaye।

¹⁶⁶They say that even the rishis and munis went away saying, “Neti, neti” (Neither this nor that).

¹⁶⁷ham kehte hain in lakshmi-naaraayan se poochho to yeh bhi neti-neti karenge।

¹⁶⁷We say: Even if you were to ask Lakshmi and Narayan, they too would say, “Neti, neti”.

¹⁶⁸parantu inse poochha hi nahin jaata hai।

¹⁶⁸However, this question can never be asked of them.

¹⁶⁹poochhenge kaun?

¹⁶⁹Who would ask them?

¹⁷⁰poochha jaata hai guru logon se।

¹⁷⁰Only gurus are asked this question.

¹⁷¹tum unse yeh prashn poochh sakte ho।

¹⁷¹You can ask them this question.

¹⁷²tum samjhaane ke liye kitna maatha maarte ho।

¹⁷²You beat your heads so much in order to explain to them.

¹⁷³gala kharaab ho jaata hai।

¹⁷³Your throats even get sore.

¹⁷⁴baap to bachchon ko hi sunaayenge na, jinhonne samjha hai।

¹⁷⁴The Father only speaks to His children who have understood Him.
