1Yah khēl smr̥iti-vismr̥iti kā banā huā hai , ātmā sadā hī man-buddhi sahit hai
1This is a game of remembering and forgetting, but the soul always has a mind and an intellect.
2Ōm śhānti .
2Om shanti.
3Paramātmā aur ātmā - iskī knowledge kō abhī ham paramātmā dvārā jāntē jā rahē haĩ .
3We are now receiving knowledge about God and the soul through God.
4Ātmā kō man-buddhi sahit kahā jātā hai .
4The soul is said to have a mind and intellect.
5Ātmā janm-maraṇ mē̃ ānē vālī hai . 6Ismē̃ sārā jō part chal rahā hai , uskī smr̥iti nahī̃ rah saktī hai .
5The soul comes into the cycle of birth and death, but it does not have the awareness of the entire part that it plays.
7Bhal ātmā man-buddhi sahit bēśhak hai , parantu anēk janmō̃ kā jō kuchh huā vah smr̥iti tō nahī̃ rah saktī hai nā .
6Although the soul has a mind and intellect, it does not have the awareness of what it does in all its many births.
8Ēk jīvan kā hī ham lē̃ , tō bhī sab bātē̃ detail sahit yād thōṛē hī rahtī hai .
7Even if you take just one birth, you are not able to retain the full details of that.
9Buddhi mē̃ smr̥iti-vismr̥iti hōtī hai . 10Parantu buddhi tō rahtī hai nā .
8The intellect remembers and forgets, but the intellect still remains.
11Aisē thōṛē hī kahē̃gē ki buddhi chalī jātī hai .
9You cannot say that the intellect goes away.
12Parantu jab vah ṭhīk karttavya nahī̃ kartī hai tō is par kahā jātā hai jaisē ki inkī buddhi chalī gaī hai .
10But when it does not function well, it is said that that one's intellect has gone.
13Parantu aisē tō nahī̃ hai nā ki buddhihīn hai .
11But you cannot say that the soul does not have an intellect.
14Ātmā sadā hī man-buddhi sahit hai .
12The soul always has a mind and an intellect.
15Satyug mē̃ ātmā hai tō aisē nahī̃ , usē ८४ janmō̃ key|kī smr̥iti hai .
13When the soul is in satyug, it isn't that it has the awareness of its eighty-four births.
16Paramātmā jō knowledgeful hai usmē̃ hī sabkī knowledge hai .
14God, who is the Knowledge-full One, has the entire knowledge of everything.
17Tō is samay par unkā part hai .
15So His patt is played at this time.
18Jab part mē̃ ātē haĩ tab ākar K|kē knowledge sunātē haĩ .
16When He enacts His part He gives us knowledge.
19Knowledge emerge bhī itnī kartē haĩ jitnā ātmā key|kī unnati K|kē lāyak hai .
17He only emerges as much knowledge as is required for the progress of the soul.
20Bhal vah jānī-jānanahār hai parantu part mē̃ phir bhī andāj hai nā , utnā hī sunātē haĩ .
18Although He is the One who knows everything, He only tells us as much as we need to know.
21Tō aisē nahī̃ , ātmā kō sārī smr̥iti ikṭṭhī rah saktī hai .
19It isn't that the soul has awareness of everything at the same time.
22Smr̥iti-vismr̥iti tō chaltī ātī hai .
20It constantly remembers and forgets.
23Parantu iskā matlab yah nahī̃ hai ki ātmā man-buddhi sahit nahī̃ hai . 24Sirph vah smr̥iti chalī jātī hai .
21But this does not mean that the soul is without a mind and an intellect: it is just that it loses awareness.
25Body conscious , soul - conscious - yah bhī khēl hai nā . 26Ātmā , ātmā hī hai .
22This is the game of body-consciousness and soul-consciousness, but the soul is a soul.
27Sirph vismr̥iti hō jātī hai .
23It just forgets.
28Phir paramātmā dvārā smr̥iti miltī hai .
24Then it receives awareness through God.
29Janm-maraṇ mē̃ ātē-ātē ātmā key|kī kalā ghaṭtī jātī hai .
25Whilst coming into the cycle of birth and death, the degrees of the soul decrease.
30Yah bhī paramātmā ākar batlātē haĩ .
26God comes and tells us everything.
31Sō bhī anēk janmō̃ kā detail thōṛē hī batlātē haĩ .
27But He does not tell us the details of every birth.
32Unsē hamārā prayōjan nahī̃ .
28That would be of no use to us.
33Jāntē haĩ ki pahlē duḥkh key|kī jīvan thī , unkō bhūlnā hī hai .
29We know that previously we had a life of sorrow and now we have to forget it.
34Tō phir uskē vistār kō jānnē key|kī kyā jarurat hai ?
30So why should we need to know the details?
35Drama kā khēl aur ātmā kā parichay – yah paramātmā baiṭh samjhātē haĩ .
31The game of the drama and the knowledge of the soul is explained by God.
36Buddhi tō hai , phir kaī bātē̃ khyāl sē haṭ jātī haĩ .
32You have an intellect but sometimes some things are totally removed from your thoughts.
37Tō aisē thōṛē hī kahē̃gē buddhi hī nahī̃ hai .
33But you cannot say that you do not have an intellect.
38Is knowledge kō samajhnē sē aisī chhōṭī-chhōṭī bātē̃ tō apnē vichār sē bhī hal hō jātī haĩ .
34By understanding this knowledge, you can solve small problems even with your own thoughts.
39Ham bhī past-future dōnō̃ K|kē anubhavī haĩ .
35We now have the experience of both the past and the future.
40Buddhi dvārā ham jān saktē haĩ .
36We can understand through the intellect.
41Aisē bhī nahī̃ ki sākṣhātkār hō tab ham jān saktē .
37It isn't that we can only understand this when we have visions.
42Yah tō buddhi kā kām hai jānnā .
38It is the task of the intellect to understand.
43Sākṣhātkār nahī̃ huā hai tō bhī harjā nahī̃ hai .
39It does not matter if you have not had any visions.
44Jānnē kā sambandh sākṣhātkār sē nahī̃ hai .
40Understanding is not dependent on having visions.
45Gyān kā matlab sākṣhātkār nahī̃ hai .
41Knowledge does not mean having visions.
46Manuṣhya samajhtē haĩ sākṣhātkār sē hī siddhi prāpt hō saktī hai .
42People think that you can only attain success when you have visions.
47Parantu gyān tō knowledge kō kahā jātā hai .
43But knowledge is called gyan.
48Kahā bhī jātā hai gyān bigar gati nahī̃ .
44It is said that there cannot be salvation without gyan.
49Aisē nahī̃ kahā jātā hai ki sākṣhātkār bigar gati nahī̃ .
45It isn't said that there isn't salvation without visions.
50Paramātmā kō nyārā bhī kahā jātā hai aur pyārā bhī kahā jātā hai .
46God is said to be loving and detached.
51Duniyā vālē samajhtē haĩ ki jaisē ātmā janm-maraṇ mē̃ ātī bhī hai aur nyārī nirlēp bhī hai , aisē paramātmā bhī hai . 52Kyōṅki samajhtē haĩ ātmā hī paramātmā hai .
47People of the world think that just as the soul comes into the cycle of birth and death and is also immune so, too, God is the same, because they think that the soul is God.
53Parantu ham jāntē haĩ - - paramātmā nyārā aur pyārā kaisē hai .
48But we know in which way God is loving and detached.
54Vah ajanmā , duḥkh-sukh sē nyārā bhī hai parantu unkē part bajānē K|kē saṅskār bhī haĩ aur part bhī ati pyārā bajāyā hai kyōṅki sabkō sukhī banātē haĩ .
49He is beyond birth and also beyond happiness and sorrow, but He also has the sanskars of playing a part, and He plays an extremely beautiful part because He makes everyone happy.
55Paramātmā tō bēhad kā kārya ākar kartē haĩ .
50God comes and carries out an unlimited task.
56Sarv ātmāō̃ kō sukhī banātē haĩ .
51He makes all souls happy.
57Isliē sarv ātmāō̃ kō vah pyārā lagtā hai .
52This is why He is loved by all souls.
58Ātmāō̃ kō pyār milā hai , sukhī banī hai , tab return mē̃ itnā pyār kartī hai .
53Souls have received love and have become happy and this is why, in return, they have so much love for Him.
59Paramātmā nē ham ātmāō̃ kē sāth yah part bajāyā huā hai .
54God has played this part with us souls.
60Sukhī banāyā hai , isliē ati pyārā hai .
55He has made us happy and this is why He is loved so much.
61Lēkin vah ham ātmāō̃ sē nyārā hai .
56But He is different from us souls.
62Bhal khud bhī ātmā ban part bajātē haĩ parantu unkē karttavya nyārē haĩ .
57Although He also plays a part as a soul, His acts are different.
63Jō ātmā nahī̃ kar saktī vah kām kartē haĩ .
58He does that which souls are not able to do.
64Sarv ātmāō̃ kō santuṣhṭ kartē haĩ , sarv ātmāō̃ kō sukh śhānti dētē haĩ .
59He makes all souls content and gives them all peace and happiness.
65Isliē pyārē haĩ .
60This is why He is loved.
66Tō nyārē kā arth|earth yah nahī̃ ki lēp-chhēp sē nyārā hai .
61So to be detached does not mean that He is immune to the effects of action.
67Vah tō jō kuchh kartā hai uskā bantā jarur hai .
62Whatever He does, He definitely receives something in return.
68Service kī hai tab tō unkō sabhī pyār kartē haĩ .
63It is because He has served us that we love Him so much.
69Yah bhī return hai nā .
64This is also a return, isn't it?
70Bhal jāntē nahī̃ haĩ ki vah kaun hai , hamārē sāth sambandh kyā hai ? 71Lēkin pyār tō kartē haĩ nā . 72Yād bhī kartē haĩ .
65Although people do not know who He is and what relationship they have with Him, at least they love Him and remember Him.
66Achcha.
