1Yah asār saṅsār hai , āsakti chhōṛ naī sār vālī duniyā kō yād karō

1This world no longer has any value: cease to be attracted to it and remember that other world which does have value.

2Ōm śhānti .

2Om shanti.

3Jaisē had K|kē din aur rāt rōz hōtē haĩ , aisē is sr̥iṣhṭi-chakra mē̃ bēhad kā bhī din aur rāt hai jiskō gītā mē̃ śhukla pakṣha aur kr̥iṣhṇa pakṣha kahā huā hai .

3In the same way as there is a limited day and night every day, there is also an unlimited day and night in this world cycle and these are remembered in the Gita as two different halves.

4Rāt pūrī hō din hōnē kā bhī abhī samay hai .

4It is now time for the night to finish and for the day to begin.

5Rāt pūrī hōgī tō din āyēgā .

5When the night ftnishes, the day will come.

6Aisē nahī̃ ki rāt aur din ikṭṭhē hōṅgē .

6Day and night cannot exist at the same time.

7Had key|kī rāt aur din bhī ikṭṭhē nahī̃ hōtē haĩ .

7The limited day and night cannot exist at the same time either.

8Sr̥iṣhṭi-chakra mē̃ bhī aisē hai .

8It is like that in the world cycle too.

9Aisē nahī̃ ki sukh-duḥkh ikṭṭhā hai .

9It isn't that happiness and sorrow exist at the same time.

10Andhiyārē kō duḥkh , rōśhnī kō sukh kahē̃gē .

10Darkness is said to be sorrow and light is said to be happiness.

11Duḥkh kā samay alag , sukh kā samay alag hō gayā .

11The time for happiness is separate from the time for sorrow.

12Kaī samajhtē haĩ - " sukh-duḥkh chalē āyē haĩ bhal āgē duḥkh cum|kam thā , abhī jāstī hai .

12Many think that happiness and sorrow have always existed, even though there was less sorrow in the beginning and there is more sorrow now.

13 » parantu yah nahī̃ samajhtē ki duḥkh thā hī nahī̃ .

13However, they do not understand that sorrow did not exist in the beginning.

14Vah sukh key|kī duniyā thī , yah duḥkh key|kī duniyā hai .

14That was the world of happiness and this is the world of sorrow.

15Cum|kam jāstī par contrast nahī̃ hai , contrast hai - hā̃ aur nā par .

15The contrast is not about there being more or less sorrow and happiness, but the contrast is between them existing and not existing.

16Duḥkh thā hī nahī̃ .

16There was no sorrow.

17Yād us chīj kō kiyā jātā hai jō hai hī nahī̃ .

17You remember that which no longer exists.

18Agar sukh hōtā tō phir unkī chāhnā kyō̃ hōtī  ?

18If you had happiness, why would you desire it?

19Bhal dhanvān hai , martabē vālē haĩ , vah bhī sukh kō yād kartē haĩ .

19Though someone may be wealthy and in a high position, he also thinks about happiness.

20Tō jarur vah chīj abhī nahī̃ hai jiskō sab chāhtē haĩ .

20So it must definitely be because that does not exist any more, and because everyone wishes to have it.

21Present vah hōtī tō chāhnā kyō̃ rakhtē  ?

21If that thing were present, why should they have a desire for it?

22Ab apnā puruṣhārth us chīj kē liē hai jō chīj is duniyā mē̃ hai nahī̃ .

22We are now making effort for something which does not exist in this world.

23Is duniyā sē kinārā kar liyā hai kyōṅki yah hai hī purānī tamōpradhān nark key|kī duniyā .

23We have moved away from this world because this is the old, tamopradhan world of hell.

24Vah sukh key|kī duniyā hī aur hai . 25Ab hai rāt .

24That world of happiness is something else. 25It is now the night.

26Din aur rāt key|kī tō raunak hī apnī-apnī hai .

26The day and night each have their own beauty.

27Tō ham uskē pīchhē lagē huē haĩ - aisī duniyā K|kē sukh kō prāpt karē̃ .

27We are chasing after the happiness of that world.

28Isliē purānī duniyā sē kinārā kiyā hai .

28This is why we have moved away from the old world.

29Yah tō hai hī asār saṅsār .

29This world no longer has any value.

30Sār vālā saṅsār hī dūsrā hai .

30The world that has value is a different world.

31Is duniyā mē̃ jō kuchh hai uskī āsakti chhōṛnī hai .

31You must not have any attraction to whatever exists in this world.

32Mān , martabā , dhan ādi kōī bhī chīj mē̃ ichchhā nahī̃ rakhnī hai .

32You must not have any desire for regard, position, wealth etc.

33Pahlē tō yah contrast buddhi mē̃ rahnā chāhiē .

33First of all you should have this contrast in your intellect.

34Manuṣhya samajhtē haĩ - yah duḥkh-sukh sab paramparā sē chalā āyā hai .

34People think that happiness and sorrow have continued from the beginning of time.

35Parantu paramparā sē jō chalā āyā hai vah purānī duniyā key|kī chāl chalī āī hai .

35But whatever has continued from the beginning of time would still be continuing in the old world.

36Naī duniyā key|kī tō chāl hī nirālī hai .

36The way everything functions in the new world is totally unique.

37Bāp kahtē haĩ - " is duniyā mē̃ jō kuchh kartē āyē hō , unkā phal bhī yahā̃ hī pāyā hai .

37Baba says: You have received the reward here for whatever you have been doing in this old world.

38Is duniyā key|kī pavitratā tamōguṇī hai .

38The purity of this world is tamoguni.

39Maĩ tumkō satōpradhān pavitratā sikhlātā hū̃ . 40 » tō tum rajō , tamōguṇī pavitratā sē bhēṇṭ kyō̃ kartē hō .

39I teach you satopradhan purity, so why do you compare yourselves with those who have rajo or tamoguni purity?

41Purānī duniyā key|kī ab end hai .

40It is now the end of the old world.

42Ab naī duniyā kē liē puruṣhārth karē̃gē tō uskā phal naī duniyā mē̃ mil jāyēgā .

41If you now make effort for the new world, you will receive the fruit of that in the new world.

43Vināśh tō hōnā hī hai .

42Destruction has to take place.

44Parantu tum pahlē sē hī karē̃gē tō vah karnē kā phāydā tumkō milēgā .

43However, if you do everything in advance you will receive the benefit of having done it.

45Achchhā .

44Achcha.
