¹The effort to become a maharathi ²Do you know how to do spiritual drill?

³drill arthaat shareer ko jahaan chaahe vahaan mod saken aur roohaani drill arthaat rooh ko jahaan jaise aur jab chaahe vahaan sthit kar saken arthaat apni sthiti jaise chaahe vaisi bana saken, isko kehte hain roohaani drill ।

³What do you have to do in drill? ⁴Drill means to bend your body as you wish, and spiritual drill means to stabilise the spirit in the stage you want when you want, that is, to be able to stabilise yourself in the stage you want to.

⁴jaise sena ko martial va drill master jaise ishaare dete hain vaise hi karte hain ।

⁵That is called spiritual drill. ⁶An army does exactly what a marshall or drill-master signals them to do.

⁵aise svayan hi master va martial ban jahaan apne ko sthit karna chaahen vahaan kar saken ।

⁷In the same way, you yourself should be the master or marshall and stabilise yourself in the stage you want to be in.

⁶aise apne aapke drill master bane ho?

⁸Have you become your own drill-master in this way?

⁷aise to nahin ki master kahe haindsa down aur students haindsa up karen । ⁸martial kahe right to sena kare left ।

⁹It shouldn't be that the master says, “Hands down”!, and the students put their hands up, or the marshall says, “Right” and the soldiers turn left.

⁹aise sainikon va students ko kya kiya jaata hai? ¹⁰dismiss ।

¹⁰What would happen to such students or soldiers?

¹¹to yahaan bhi svayan hi dismiss ho hi jaate hain – apne aadhikaar se ।

¹¹They would be dismissed. ¹²So, here, you dismiss yourselves from your own right.

¹²practice aisi honi chaahiye jo ek second mein apni sthiti ko jahaan chaaho vahaan tika sako । ¹³kyonki ab yuddha sthal par ho ।

¹³You should have such practice that you can stabilise your stage wherever you want in one second, because you are now on the battlefield.

¹⁴yuddha sthal par sena agar ek second mein direction ko amal mein na laaye to unko kya kaha jaavega?

¹⁴On a battlefield, if the army does not put a direction into practice in one second, what are they called?

¹⁵is roohaani yuddha par bhi sthiti ko sthit karne mein samay lagaate hain to aise sainikon ko kya kahen ।

¹⁵What would you call soldiers who take time to stabilise themselves in a particular stage on this spiritual battlefield?

¹⁶aaj baapdaada purushaarthi, mahaarthi bachchon ko dekh rahe hain ।

¹⁶Today BapDada is observing maharathi children who are effort-makers.

¹⁷apne ko jo mahaarthi samajhte vo haath uthaao (thodon ne haath uthaaya) jo mahaarthi nahin hai woh apne ko kya samajhte hain?

¹⁷Those who consider themselves to be maharathis, raise your hand! ¹⁸(A few raised their hand.) ¹⁹What do those who are not maharathis consider themselves to be?

¹⁸apne ko ghodesvaar samajhte hain woh haath uthaaven ।

²⁰Those who consider themselves to be the cavalry, raise your hand!

¹⁹jinhonne mahaarthiyon mein haath nahin uthaaya unhon se baapdaada ek prashn poochh rahe hain ।

²¹BapDada is putting this question to those who didn't raise their hand to being a maharathi.

²⁰apne ko baapdaada ka vaaris samajhte ho?

²²Do you consider yourselves to be BapDada's heirs?

²¹jo apne ko ghodesvaar samajhte hain woh apne ko vaaris samajhte hain?

²³Do those who consider themselves to be the cavalry consider themselves to be heirs?

²²vaaris ka poorn adhikaar lena hai va nahin?

²⁴Do the heirs wish to claim the full right or not?

²³jab lakshya poora varsa lene ka hai to ghodesvaar kyon?

²⁵Since you have the aim of claiming the full inheritance, why should you be the cavalry?

²⁴agar ghodesvaar hain to maaloom hai number kahaan jaayega?

²⁶If you are the cavalry, do you know what number you will claim?

²⁵second grade vaale kahaan aayenge itni paravrish lene ke baad bhi second grade ।

²⁷Where would those in the second grade come? ²⁸Even after receiving so much sustenance, you would claim the second grade!

²⁶agar bahut samay se second grade purushaartha hi raha to varsa bhi bahut samay second grade milega । ²⁷baaki thoda samay first grade mein anubhav karenge ।

²⁹If you have been a second-grade effort-maker over a long period of time, you will receive the second grade inheritance for a long period of time, and you will only have the experience of the first grade for a short time.

²⁸sarvashaktimaan baap ke bachche kahlaane vaale aur vyakta-avyakt dvaara paalna lene vaale phir second grade ।

³⁰You are those who call yourselves children of the Almighty Authority Father, those who have taken sustenance from the corporeal form and the avyakt form, and yet, second grade!

²⁹aise mukh se kehna bhi shobhta nahin hai ।

³¹It doesn't even seem right to say this in words.

³⁰ya to aaj se apne ko sarvashaktimaan ke bachche na kahlaao ।

³²Or else, from today, you should not call yourselves children of the Almighty Authority.

³¹baapdaada aise purushaarthiyon ko bachche na kahkar kya kehte hain? ³²maaloom hain?

³³Instead of calling them children, do you know what BapDada calls children who are engaged in making such effort?

³³bachche nahin kachche hain ।

³⁴Not children (bachche), but weak ones (kachche).

³⁴abhi tak bhi aisa purushaartha karna bachchon ke svamaan laayak nahin dikhaai padta hai ।

³⁵To make such effort even now is not worthy of the self-respect of the children.

³⁵isliye phir bhi baapdaada kehte hain ki beeti so beeti karo ।

³⁶That is why BapDada says: Even now, let the past be the past.

³⁶ab se apne ko badlo ।

³⁷Change yourselves from this moment.

³⁷mahaarthi banne liye sirf do baaten yaad rakho ।

³⁸In order to become a maharathi, simply remember two things.

³⁸kaun-si?

³⁹What are they?

³⁹ek to apne ko sadaiv saathi ke saath rakho ।

⁴⁰Firstly, constantly keep yourself with your Companion.

⁴⁰saathi aur saarthi, woh hai mahaarthi ।

⁴¹Those who are companions and co-charioteers are maharathis.

⁴¹purushaartha mein kamzori ke do kaaran hain ।

⁴²There are two reasons for weakness in effort.

⁴²baap ke snehi bane ho lekin baap ko saathi nahin banaaya hai ।

⁴³You have love for the Father, but you have not made Him your Companion.

⁴³agar baapdaada ko sadaiv saathi banaao to jahaan baapdaada saath hai vahaan maaya door se moorchhit ho jaati hai ।

⁴⁴If you constantly keep BapDada as your Companion, then as long as you have BapDada’s company, Maya becomes unconscious even from a distance.

⁴⁴baapdaada ko alpa samay ke liye saathi banaate hain isliye shakti ki itni praapti nahin hoti hai ।

⁴⁵Because you only make BapDada your Companion for a temporary period, you are not able to attain sufficient power.

⁴⁵sadaiv baapdaada saath ho to sadaiv baapdaada se milan manaane mein magan hon । ⁴⁶aur jo magan hota hai uski lagan aur koi taraph lag na saken ।

⁴⁶If you were constantly with BapDada, you would constantly remain lost in celebrating a meeting with BapDada with deep love; and those who are lost in deep love cannot have their love directed anywhere else.

⁴⁷shuru-shuru mein baap se bachchon ka kya vaayda hua hai?

⁴⁷What was the promise that children made to the Father in the beginning?

⁴⁸tumheen se khaaoon, tumheen se baithoon, tumheen se rooh ko rijhaaoon ।

⁴⁸I eat with You, I sit with You, I entertain myself with You.

⁴⁹yeh apna vaayda bhool jaate ho?

⁴⁹You forget this promise that you made.

⁵⁰agar saare dincharya mein har kaarya baap ke saath karo to kya maaya disturb kar sakti hai?

⁵⁰If, throughout the day, you carry out every task with the Father, would Maya be able to disturb you?

⁵¹baap ke saath honge to maaya disturb nahin karegi । ⁵²maaya ka distrakshan ho jaayega ।

⁵¹If you are with the Father, instead of Maya disturbing you, there would be the destruction of Maya.

⁵³to bhal baap ke snehi bane ho lekin saathi nahin banaaya hai ।

⁵²So, though you have love for the Father, you have not made Him your Companion.

⁵⁴haath pakda hai saath nahin liya hi isliye maaya dvaara ghaat hota hai ।

⁵³You have taken Baba's hand, but you have not taken His company. ⁵⁴This is why you become knocked out by Maya.

⁵⁵galtiyon ka kaaran hai gaphlat ।

⁵⁵The reason for mistakes is carelessness.

⁵⁶gaflat galtiyaan karaati hai ।

⁵⁶Carelessness makes you make mistakes.

⁵⁷agar rooh ko na dekh roop taraph aakarshit hote hain to samjho murde se preet kar rahe hain ।

⁵⁷If you do not look at the spirit (ruh) but are instead attracted to the form (rup), then you must understand that you have love for a corpse.

⁵⁸murde se preet rakhne vaale ko samajhna chaahiye ki hamaara bhavish murdaaghaat mein kaarya karne ka hai ।

⁵⁸Those who have love for a corpse should understand that their future work will be in a cemetery.

⁵⁹jis samay aisa sankalp bhi aaye to murda ghaat ka part samjho ।

⁵⁹Whenever you have any such thought, you should consider your part to be in a cemetery.

⁶⁰sabhi ko kehte ho na em aur object ko saamne rakho ।

⁶⁰You tell everyone to keep their aim and object in front of them.

⁶¹to jo bhi kaarya karte ho, jo bhi sankalp karte ho uske liye bhi lakshya aur praapti arthaat em object saamne rakho ।

⁶¹So, whatever tasks you carry out, whatever thoughts you have, you must keep the aim and the attainment, that is, the aim and the objective, in front of you.

⁶²sarvashaktimaan baap vardaata se apna kalpa-kalpa isi part ka varsa lene liye aaye ho ।

⁶²You have come to claim your inheritance of this part from the Almighty Authority Father for every cycle.

⁶³murde ko surjeet karne vaale murda ghaat mein part noondhane liye aaye hain?

⁶³Ask yourselves whether you, those who bring the dead back to life, have come to fix your part in the cemetery.

⁶⁴apne se poochho । ⁶⁵jo bhi bachcha apni galtiyon ko ek baar baap ke saamne rakhta hai unko yeh samajhna chaahiye ki baap ke aage apni kamiyon ko rakhne ke baad agar dubaara kar liya to kshama ke saagar ke saath 100 guna saja se bachaane liye sadaiv baapdaada ko apne saamne rakho । ⁶⁶har kadam baapdaada ko follow karte chalna hai ।

⁶⁴Any children who place their mistakes in front of the Father once should understand this: If after placing those weaknesses in front of the Father you make the same mistake again, then, although Baba is the Ocean of Mercy, according to the drama you also automatically receive one hundredfold punishment. ⁶⁵In order to save yourself from one hundred-fold punishment, constantly keep BapDada in front of you.

⁶⁷har sankalp ko har kaarya ko avyakt bal se avyakt roop dvaara vereephaai karaao ।

⁶⁶Continue to follow BapDada at each step. ⁶⁷Verify each thought and each action through the avyakt form with avyakt power.

⁶⁸jaise saakaar mein saath hota hai to vereephaai karaane baad practical mein aate hain ।

⁶⁸When you have the company of a corporeal form, everything is put into a practical form after you have had it verified.

⁶⁹vaise hi baapdaada ko avyakt roop se sadaiv sammukh va saath rakhne se har sankalp aur har kaarya vereephaai karaakar phir karne se koi bhi vyartha vikarma nahin hoga ।

⁶⁹In the same way, always keep BapDada in front of you, or with you, in the avyakt form, and then by verifying each thought and each action before putting it into the practical form, there will not be any wasteful or sinful actions.

⁷⁰koi dvaara bhi koi baat sunte ho to baat ka saaz mein na jaakar raaz ko jaanon ।

⁷⁰Whenever you listen to anything, do not just hear the words, but understand their significance.

⁷¹raaz ko chhod saaz ko sunne se naazukpan aata hai ।

⁷¹When you put aside the significance and just listen to the words, you become very sensitive.

⁷²kabhi bhi nahin socho ki phalaana aise kehta hai tab aisa hota hai lekin jo karta hai so paata hai ।

⁷²Do not ever think: So-and-so says this and that is why it happens like this, because whatever anyone does, he receives the reward of that.

⁷³yeh saamne rakho ।

⁷³Always keep this in front of you.

⁷⁴doosre ke kamaai ka aadhaar nahin lena hai ।

⁷⁴You must not take the support of anyone else's income.

⁷⁵na doosre ki kamaai mein aankh jaani chaahiye । ⁷⁶jis kaaran hi eershya hoti hai ।

⁷⁵Nor should your vision be drawn to the income of others through which there would be jealousy.

⁷⁷iske liye sadaiv baap ka yeh slogan yaad rakho ki apni ghont to nasha chaahe ।

⁷⁶For this, you must always remember the slogan: Only when you grind your own ingredients can you experience intoxication.

⁷⁸doosre ke nashe ko nishaana nahin banaao । ⁷⁹lekin baapdaada ke gun aur kartavya ko nishaana banaao ।

⁷⁷Do not make the intoxication of others your target, but let BapDada's virtues and task be your target.

⁸⁰sadaiv baapdaada ke kartavya ki smriti rakho ki baapdaada ke saath main bhi adharma ke vinaash arth nimitta hain woh svayan phir adharma ka kaarya va daivi maryaada ko todne ka kartavya kaise kar sakte hain ।

⁷⁸Constantly keep the awareness of BapDada's task: Together with BapDada, I am also an instrument in the task of destruction of irreligiousness and establishment of the true religion. ⁷⁹How can those, who are themselves instruments for destroying irreligiousness, perform any task of irreligiousness or break the divine code of conduct?

⁸¹main master maryaada purushottam hoon । ⁸²to maryaadaaon ko tod nahin sakte hain ।

⁸⁰I am a master maryada purshottam (one who is most elevated by following the highest code of conduct), and so I cannot break any of the maryadas.

⁸³aisi smriti rakhne se samaan aur sampoorn sthiti ho jaaegi ।

⁸¹By maintaining this consciousness, you will be able to make your stage perfect and equal to that of BapDada.

⁸⁴samjha ।

⁸²Do you understand?

⁸⁵socho kam, kartavya adhik karna hai ।

⁸³Think less! ⁸⁴You have to carry out many tasks.

⁸⁶sirf sochne mein samay nahi ganvaana hai ।

⁸⁵Do not waste your time in just thinking.

⁸⁷srishti ke qayaamat ke pahle kamzori aur kamiyon ki qayaamat karo ।

⁸⁶Before the settlement of the world, carry out the settlement of your weaknesses and defects.

⁸⁸bhatthi vaalon ne bhatthi mein apna roop aur rang aur raunak badli ki hai ।

⁸⁷Have those who are in the bhatthi changed their form, colour and sparkle?

⁸⁹anek roop badalna mitaaya hai?

⁸⁸Have you put a stop to changing into many forms?

⁹⁰sada ke liye roohaani roop dikhaai de aisa apne ko banaaya hai?

⁸⁹Have you made yourself such that only the spiritual form is constantly seen?

⁹¹ulajhnon ka naam nishaan na rahe aisa apne ko ujjaval banaaya hai?

⁹⁰Have you made yourself so bright and clear that there is no name or trace of any confusion?

⁹²alpakaal ke liye pratigya ki hai va antakaal tak pratigya ki hai?

⁹¹Have you made a promise for a temporary period or until the last moment?

⁹³apni puraani baaton, puraane sanskaaron ko aisa parivartan mein laana hai । ⁹⁴jaise janma parivartan hone ke baad puraane janma ki baaten bhool jaati hain ।

⁹²You have to bring about transformation of your old habits and sanskars to the same extent as when you take a new birth. ⁹³You forget everything of a previous life.

⁹⁵aisa puraane sanskaaron ko bhasma kiya hai va asthiyaan rakh di hai?

⁹⁴Have you burnt the old sanskars in the same way, or have you still kept the ashes?

⁹⁶asthiyon mein phir se bhoot pravesh ho jaata hai ।

⁹⁵It is possible for the evil spirits to enter the ashes again.

⁹⁷isliye asthiyon ko sampoorn sthiti ke saagar mein sama ke jaana hai ।

⁹⁶Therefore, throw the ashes into the ocean of the perfect stage, and then go back from here.

⁹⁸kahaan chhipaakar le na jaana ।

⁹⁷You must not secretly take them back with you.

⁹⁹nahin to apni asthiyaan sthiti ko pareshaan karti rahengi ।

⁹⁸Otherwise, those ashes will disturb your stage. ⁹⁹You have to put an end to the thoughts of the past.

¹⁰⁰sankalpon ki samaapti karni hai । ¹⁰¹achha –

¹⁰²tum harek bachche ko purushaartha karna hai takhtansheen banne ka na ki takhtansheen ke aage rahne ka ।

¹⁰¹Each child has to make effort to be seated on the throne, and not just to be in front of those who are seated on the throne.

¹⁰³takhtansheen tab banenge jab ab sameep banenge ।

¹⁰²You will be seated on the throne when you come close at this time.

¹⁰⁴jitna jo sameep hoga utna samaanta mein rahega ।

¹⁰³The closer someone is, the more equal to BapDada he will be.

¹⁰⁵tum bachchon ke nainon ko koi dekhe to unko mukti jeevanmukti ka raasta dikhaai de ।

¹⁰⁴When anyone looks in the eyes of you children, they should be able to see the path to liberation and liberation-in-life.

¹⁰⁶aisa naynon mein jaadu ho ।

¹⁰⁵There should be such magic in your eyes.

¹⁰⁷to aap ke nain kitni seva kareng nain bhi service karega to mastishka bhi service karega ।

¹⁰⁶So your eyes should do that much service. ¹⁰⁷Your eyes and your forehead should both do service.

¹⁰⁸mastishka kya dikhaata hai, aatmaon ko?

¹⁰⁸What does the forehead show to souls?

¹⁰⁹baap । ¹¹⁰aapke mastishka se baap ka parichay ho aisi service karni hai tab sameep sitaare banenge ।

¹⁰⁹You now have to do such service that others receive the introduction to the Father from your forehead; only then will you become close stars.

¹¹¹jaise saakaar mein baap ko dekha mastak aur nain service karte the ।

¹¹⁰You saw how Baba's eyes and forehead in the sakar form did service.

¹¹²mastishka mein jyoti bindu rehta tha, nainon mein tej trimoorti ke yaad ka । ¹¹³aise samaan banna hai ।

¹¹¹There used to be a point of light on the forehead and the brilliance of the remembrance of the Trimurti Father in his eyes.

¹¹⁴samaan banne se hi sameep banenge ।

¹¹²You have to become equal in this way.

¹¹⁵jab aap svayan aisi sthiti mein rahenge to maaya kya karegi, maaya svayan khatma ho jaaegi ।

¹¹³Only when you come close will you become equal. ¹¹⁴When you yourself remain in this stage, what will Maya do?

¹¹⁶tum bachchon ko regular banna hai ।

¹¹⁵Maya will finish. ¹¹⁶You children have to become regular.

¹¹⁷baapdaada regular kisko kehte hain । ¹¹⁸regular unko kaha jaata hai jo subah se lekar raat tak jo kartavya karta hai woh shreemat ke pramaan karta hai ।

¹¹⁷What does BapDada mean when He says 'regular'? ‘Regular’ means to carry out all activities from morning till night according to shrimat.

¹¹⁹sab mein regular । ¹²⁰sankalp mein, vaani mein, karma mein, chalne mein, sone mein, sabmen regular ।

¹¹⁸You have to be regular in everything: regular in your thoughts, words, deeds, behaviour and sleeping etc.; regular in everything.

¹²¹regular cheez achhi hoti hai ।

¹¹⁹Anything that is regular is good.

¹²²jitna jo regular hota hai utna doosron ki service theek kar sakta hai ।

¹²⁰The more regular someone is, the better he is able to serve others.

¹²³serviceable arthaat ek sankalp bhi service ke sivaae na jaae ।

¹²¹Serviceable means that not even one thought should be without service.

¹²⁴aise serviceable aur koi saboot bana sakte hain ।

¹²²Those who are such serviceable souls can give the proof of this in everything.

¹²⁵service keval mukh ki hi nahin lekin sarva karmendriyaan service karne mein tatpar ho ।

¹²³There shouldn't be just service through words, but all your physical organs should be engaged in doing service.

¹²⁶jaise mukh busy hota hai vaise mastishka, nain service mein busy ho ।

¹²⁴Just as your lips remain busy, in the same way, your forehead and eyes should remain busy.

¹²⁷sarva prakaar ki service kar service ka saboot nikaalna hai ।

¹²⁵You have to give the proof of service by doing all types of service.

¹²⁸ek prakaar ki service se saboot nahi nikalta sirf saraahna karte hain ।

¹²⁶Proof cannot be given by doing just one type of service. ¹²⁷Then, there is just praise.

¹²⁹chaahiye saboot, to saboot dene liye sarva prakaar ki service mein sada tatpar rehna hai ।

¹²⁸When others want proof, in order to give that proof, you must constantly remain engaged in all types of service.

¹³⁰serviceable jitna hoga vaisa aap samaan banaaega ।

¹²⁹To the extent that you are serviceable, accordingly, you will make others similar to yourself.

¹³¹phir baap samaan banaaega ।

¹³⁰Then you will make them equal to the Father.

¹³²achha !
