¹Essence: Sweet children, this is a wonderful pathshala (school) in which neither the souls who study visible, nor the One who teaches visible. ²This is something new.

²prashn:- is paathshaala mein tumhein mukhya shiksha kaun-si milti hai jo aur koi paathshaala mein nahin di jaati?

³Question: What main teachings that no one receives in any other school do you receive in this school?

³uttar:- yahaan baap apne bachchon ko shiksha dete hain - bachche, apni karmendriyon ko vash mein rakhna। ⁴kabhi bhi kisi behen par buri drishti na ho।

⁴Answer: Here, the teachings that the Father gives His children are: Children, control your physical organs.

⁵tum aatma roop mein bhaai-bhaai ho aur prajaapita brahma ke bachche behen-bhaai ho। ⁶tumhein bure khyaalaat kabhi nahin aane chaahiye।

⁵Never have impure vision towards a sister. ⁶As souls, you are all brothers, and as children of Prajapita Brahma, you are brothers and sisters. ⁷You must never have bad thoughts.

⁷aisi shiksha is university ke sivaae kahin bhi nahin di jaati।

⁸These teachings are not given anywhere except in this university.

¹⁰na doordesh ki rahne vaali aatma dekhne mein aati hai, na doordesh mein rahne vaala paramatma dekhne mein aata hai।

¹¹Neither are souls, who are residents of the faraway land, visible, nor is the Supreme Soul, the Resident of the faraway land, visible.

¹¹ek hi paramatma aur aatma hai jo in aankhon se dekhne mein nahin aate hain।

¹²It is just the one Supreme Soul and souls that cannot be seen with these eyes.

¹²aur sab cheejen dekhne mein aati hain।

¹³Everything else can be seen.

¹³yeh samajhne mein aata hai ki ham aatma hain।

¹⁴It is understood that I am a soul.

¹⁴yeh manushya samajhte hain ki aatma alag hai, shareer alag hai।

¹⁵Human beings understand that souls are separate from bodies.

¹⁵aatma doordesh se aakar shareer mein pravesh karti hai।

¹⁶A soul comes from the faraway land and enters a body.

¹⁶tum har ek baat ko achhi reeti samajh rahe ho। ¹⁷ham aatma kaise doordesh se aati hain।

¹⁷You understand everything very clearly, even how souls come from the faraway land.

¹⁸aatma bhi dekhne mein nahin aati, padhaane vaala baap paramatma bhi dekhne mein nahin aata।

¹⁸Neither are souls visible nor is the Father, the Supreme Soul, who is teaching us, visible.

¹⁹aisa to kabhi koi satsang mein athva shaastron mein suna nahin।

¹⁹You would not have heard this at any other spiritual gathering or in the scriptures.

²⁰na kabhi suna, na kabhi dekha। ²¹abhi tum jaante ho ham aatma dekhne mein nahin aati।

²⁰Neither would you have heard it nor would you have seen it. ²¹You now understand that we souls are invisible.

²²aatma ko hi padhna hai।

²²It is the soul that has to study.

²³aatma hi sab kuchh karti hai na।

²³It is the soul that does everything.

²⁴yeh nai baat hai na jo aur koi samjha na sake।

²⁴This is something new which no one else can explain.

²⁵parampita paramatma jo gyaan ka saagar hai, woh bhi dekhne mein nahin aata।

²⁵The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who is the Ocean of Knowledge, is not visible.

²⁶niraakaar padhaaye kaise?

²⁶How can the incorporeal One teach?

²⁷aatma bhi shareer mein aati hai na। ²⁸vaise parampita paramatma baap bhi bhaagyashaali rath athva bhaageerath mein aate hain।

²⁷Just as souls enter bodies, so the Father, the Supreme Soul also enters the Lucky Chariot, Bhagirath.

²⁹is rath ko bhi apni aatma hai।

²⁸This chariot also has his own soul.

³⁰woh bhi apni aatma ko dekh thode hi sakte hain।

²⁹He cannot see his own soul either.

³¹baap is rath ke aadhaar se aakar bachchon ko padhaate hain।

³²aatma bhi ek shareer chhod phir doosra leti hai।

³¹A soul sheds a body and takes the next one.

³³aatma ki pahchaan hai, dekhi nahin jaati hai।

³⁸All human beings in the world are still asleep.

⁴⁰jabki tumhaare paas aakar samjhen aur brahman banen।

⁴¹aur satsangon mein koi bhi jaakar baith sakte hain। ⁴²yahaan aise koi aa na sake kyonki yeh paathshaala hai na।

⁴⁰Anyone can go and sit in others satsangs, but no one can come here just like that because this is a school.

⁴³bairistari ke imtahaan mein tum jaakar baitho to kuchh bhi samajh nahin sakenge।

⁴¹If you were to go and sit for an examination to become a barrister, you wouldn’t be able to understand anything.

⁴⁴yeh hai bilkul nai baat।

⁴²This is something completely new.

⁴⁵padhaane vaala bhi dekhne mein nahin aata।

⁴³The One who is teaching cannot be seen.

⁴⁶padhne vaale bhi dekhne mein nahin aate।

⁴⁴Even the ones studying are invisible too.

⁴⁷aatma andar sunti hai, dhaaran karti hai।

⁴⁵The souls inside listen and imbibe everything.

⁴⁸andar nishchay hota jaata hai। ⁴⁹yeh baat to barobar theek hai। ⁵⁰paramatma aur aatma donon dekhne mein nahin aate।

⁴⁶Internally, faith continues to develop that this is absolutely right: that neither the Supreme Soul nor souls can be seen.

⁵¹buddhi se samjha jaata hai - main aatma hoon।

⁴⁷It is understood with the intellect that I am a soul.

⁵²kai to yeh bhi nahin maante, kah dete nature hai।

⁴⁸Some don’t even believe this and simply say that this is nature.

⁵³phir uska varnan bhi karte hain।

⁴⁹They even try to describe it.

⁵⁴anek mat hain na।

⁵⁰There are many opinions.

⁵⁵tum bachchon ko is knowledge mein busy rehna hai।

⁵¹You children have to remain busy in this knowledge.

⁵⁶karmendriyaan jo dhokha deti hain, unko bhi vash mein karna hai।

⁵²You also have to control your physical organs, which deceive you.

⁵⁷mukhya hain aankhen jo sab kuchh dekhti hain।

⁵³The main things are the eyes; they see everything.

⁵⁸aankhen hi bachcha dekhti hai to kehti hai yeh hamaara bachcha hai।

⁵⁴It is when your eyes see your child that you say: This is my child.

⁵⁹nahin to samjhen kaise!

⁵⁵How else could this be understood?

⁶⁰koi janma se hi andhe hote hain to phir unko samjhaate hain yeh tumhaara bhaai hai, dekh nahin sakte।

⁵⁶When someone is born blind, it is explained to him, "This is your brother." ⁵⁷He cannot see him, but he can understand with his intellect.

⁶¹buddhi se samajhte hain। ⁶²vaastav mein koi andhe soordaas ho to gyaan ko achha utha sakte hain, kyonki dhokha dene vaali aankhen nahin hain।

⁵⁸In fact, if someone is blind like Surdas (one who blinded himself) he can take this knowledge very well, because he wouldn’t have eyes to deceive himself.

⁶³bhal aur kuchh kaam woh na kar sake, gyaan achha le sakte hain।

⁵⁹Although he may not be able to do anything else, he would be able to take this knowledge very well.

⁶⁴stri ko bhi nahin dekhenge।

⁶⁰He wouldn’t see any women.

⁶⁵doosron ko dekhen to buddhi jaaye। ⁶⁶unko pakden bhi।

⁶¹It is when one sees someone that the intellect is pulled and one may even want to hold that person.

⁶⁷dekhte hi nahin to pakden kaise?

⁶²If one can’t see the person, how could one go and hold her?

⁶⁸to baap samjhaate hain karmendriyon ko pakka karna hai।

⁶³Therefore, the Father says: Have full control over your physical organs.

⁶⁹criminal arthaat buri drishti se kisi bhi behen ko nahin dekhna hai।

⁶⁴Don’t look at a sister with criminal, impure vision. ⁶⁵You are all brothers and sisters.

⁷⁰tum bhi behen-bhaai ho na। ⁷¹buri drishti ka zara bhi khyaal na aaye। ⁷²bhal aajkal kaliyug hai, bhaai-behen bhi kharaab ho padte hain।

⁶⁶There shouldn’t be the slightest thought of impure vision. ⁶⁷Nowadays, in the iron age, even the relationship between a brother and a sister is sometimes not right.

⁷³parantu law mujeeb bhaai-behen ke bure khyaalaat nahin rahenge।

⁶⁸However, according to the law, you brothers and sisters mustn’t have bad thoughts about one another.

⁷⁴ham ek baap ke bachche hain।

⁶⁹We are the children of the one Father.

⁷⁵baba direction dete hain - tum brahmaakumaar-kumaariyaan ho to yeh gyaan pakka ho jaana chaahiye ki ham bhaai-behen hain।

⁷⁰Baba gives directions: You are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris. ⁷¹Therefore, the fact that you are brothers and sisters must be made very firm.

⁷⁶ham aatmaayen bhagwan ke bachche bhaai-bhaai hain phir shareer mein prajaapita brahma dvaara bhaai-behen bante hain kyonki adopt hote hain na।

⁷²You souls are brothers, the children of God. ⁷³Then, while you are in those bodies, you are brothers and sisters because you have been adopted through Prajapita Brahma.

⁷⁷buri drishti ja na sake।

⁷⁴There must not be impure vision.

⁷⁸yeh pakka-pakka samjho - ham aatma hain।

⁷⁵Understand this very firmly: I am a soul.

⁷⁹baba hamko padhaate hain, ham aatma padhte hain is shareer se।

⁷⁶Baba is teaching us; I, a soul, am studying through this body.

⁸⁰yeh organs hain।

⁷⁷These are my organs.

⁸¹ham aatma inse alag hain, in karmendriyon se ham karma karta hoon।

⁷⁸I, this soul, am separate from them. ⁷⁹I act through these physical organs.

⁸²main karmendriyaan thode hi hoon।

⁸⁰I am not the physical organs.

⁸³main inse nyaari aatma hoon।

⁸¹I, a soul, am separate from them.

⁸⁴yeh shareer lekar part bajaata hoon, so bhi alaukik।

⁸²I have taken this body to play my part; this too, a spiritual part.

⁸⁵aur koi manushya yeh part nahin bajaate।

⁸³No human beings, apart from you, can play this part.

⁸⁶tum bajaate ho। ⁸⁷ghadi-ghadi apne ko aatma samajh baap ko yaad karna hai।

⁸⁴Repeatedly consider yourselves to be souls and remember the Father. ⁸⁵He is also our Teacher and Guru.

⁸⁸phir vahi hamaara teacher bhi hai, guru bhi hai।

⁸⁶Those physical fathers, teachers and gurus are all separate.

⁸⁹woh saakaar baap-teacher-guru alag-alag hote hain।

⁸⁷That incorporeal One is the Father, Teacher and Guru, all in one.

⁹⁰yeh niraakaari ek hi baap-teacher-guru hai।

⁸⁸Here, you children are receiving new teachings.

⁹¹yahaan bachchon ko ab nai shiksha mil rahi hai।

⁸⁹The Father, Teacher and Guru, all three, are incorporeal.

⁹²baap-teacher-guru teenon niraakaari hain।

⁹⁰I, this incorporeal soul, am studying.

⁹³ham bhi niraakaar aatma padhti hain tab to samjha jaae aatma-paramatma alag rahe bahukaal।

⁹¹It is only now that it can be understood how souls have remained separated from the Supreme Soul for a long time.

⁹⁴milna yahaan hi hota hai। ⁹⁵jabki baap ko aakar paavan banaana hota hai।

⁹²It is now, when He comes here to purify you, that you meet the Father again.

⁹⁶mool vatan mein aatmaayen jaakar milengi।

⁹³Souls will go and meet again in the incorporeal world.

⁹⁷vahaan to koi khel nahin, woh to hai apna ghar।

⁹⁴There is no play there; that is our home.

⁹⁸vahaan sab aatmaayen rehti hain।

⁹⁵That is just the place where all souls reside.

⁹⁹ant mein sab aatmaayen vahaan chali jaayengi।

⁹⁶At the end, all souls will go back there.

¹⁰⁰aatmaayen jo part bajaane aati hain, woh beech se vaapas ja nahin sakti।

⁹⁷Souls come here to play their parts. ⁹⁸They cannot return in between.

¹⁰¹ant tak part bajaana hai।

⁹⁹The parts have to be played until the end.

¹⁰²punarjanma lete rehna hai, taaki sab aa jaaen।

¹⁰⁰Souls have to continue to take rebirth until all souls have come down.

¹⁰³satopradhaan se sato-rajo-tamo mein aa jaaen।

¹⁰¹From being satopradhan, they all go through the stages of sato, rajo and tamo.

¹⁰⁴phir pichhaadi mein naatak poora hota hai to tamopradhaan se satopradhaan banna hai।

¹⁰²Then, at the end, when the play is about to end, souls have to change again from tamopradhan and become satopradhan.

¹⁰⁵baap sab baaten to theek samjhaate hain na।

¹⁰³The Father is explaining everything very clearly.

¹⁰⁶gyaan maarga hai hi satya।

¹⁰⁴The path of knowledge is the truth.

¹⁰⁷satyam shivam sundaram kaha jaata hai na।

¹⁰⁵It is said: Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram. ¹⁰⁶(The Truth, the Benefactor and the Beautiful One).

¹⁰⁸satya bolne vaala ek baap hai, is sangam par purooshaarthi banne ke liye yeh ek hi sat ka sang hota hai।

¹⁰⁷It is the one Father who speaks the truth. ¹⁰⁸In order to become an effort-maker at this confluence age, you keep the company of only that One who is the Truth.

¹⁰⁹baap jab aate hain, bachchon se milte hain, tab usko hi satsang kaha jaata hai।

¹⁰⁹This is the satsang where the Father comes and meets His children.

¹¹⁰baaki sab hain kusang।

¹¹⁰All other company is bad.

¹¹¹gaaya jaata hai - sat ka sang taare kusang bore...... kusang hai raavan ka।

¹¹¹It is said: The company of the Truth takes you across, whereas bad company drowns you.

¹¹²baap kehte hain main to tumko paar le jaata hoon।

¹¹²Bad company is Ravan’s company. ¹¹³The Father says: I take you across.

¹¹³phir tumko dubote kaun hain?

¹¹⁴So, who then drowns you?

¹¹⁴tamopradhaan kaise ban jaate ho, woh bhi bataana padta hai।

¹¹⁵You also have to be told how you become tamopradhan.

¹¹⁵saamne dushman hai maaya। ¹¹⁶shivbaaba hai mitra।

¹¹⁶Maya, the enemy, is in front of you whereas Shiv Baba is your Friend.

¹¹⁷unko kaha jaata hai - patiyon ka pati।

¹¹⁷He is called the Husband of all husbands.

¹¹⁸yeh mahima koi raavan ki nahin hai।

¹¹⁸This praise does not belong to Ravan.

¹¹⁹sirf kahenge raavan hai, bas aur kuchh nahin।

¹¹⁹They simply say that he is Ravan, that’s all.

¹²⁰raavan ko kyon jalaate hain?

¹²⁰Why do they burn an effigy of Ravan?

¹²¹vahaan bhi tum bahut service kar sakte ho। ¹²²koi bhi manushyamaatra nahin jaante ki raavan kaun hai? ¹²³kab aate hain, kyon jalaate hain?

¹²¹You can do a great deal of service there (where they burn Ravan’s effigy). ¹²²No human beings know who Ravan is, when he comes or why they burn him.

¹²⁴blind faith hai na।

¹²³There is blind faith.

¹²⁵tum bachchon ko samjhaane ki authority hai। ¹²⁶jaise woh shaastra authority se sunaate hain na।

¹²⁴Just as those people relate the scriptures with great authority, so you children too have the authority to explain this.

¹²⁷sunne vaale bhi bade masta hote hain।

¹²⁵Those who listen to them become very intoxicated.

¹²⁸paise dete rehte hain। ¹²⁹sanskrit sikhaao, geeta sikhaao।

¹²⁶They even continue to give them money and ask them to teach Sanskrit and the Gita.

¹³⁰iske liye bhi bahut paise dete hain।

¹²⁷They give a lot of money for that.

¹³¹baap samjhaate hain bachche tum kitna vesta oph time, vesta oph mani karte aaye ho।

¹²⁸The Father explains: Children, you have been wasting so much time and money.

¹³²tumhaare paas jo is brahman kul ke honge woh aate rahenge isliye tum pradarshani aadi karte ho।

¹²⁹Those who belong to this Brahmin clan will continue to come to you. ¹³⁰This is why you hold exhibitions etc.

¹³³yahaan ka phool hoga to aayega zaroor।

¹³¹Those who are flowers that belong here will definitely come.

¹³⁴yeh jhaad badhta jaata hai।

¹³²This tree continues to grow.

¹³⁵baap ne beej lagaaya hai ek brahma unse phir brahman kul hota। ¹³⁶ek se badhte gaye।

¹³³The Father sowed the one seed of Brahma and then the Brahmin clan emerged from that; it continued to grow from one.

¹³⁷pahle ghar vaale phir mitra-sambandhi aaspaas vaale aane lage।

¹³⁴First, the family members came, then friends and then their relatives began to come.

¹³⁸phir sunte-sunte kitne aa jaate hain।

¹³⁵Then, on hearing of this, so many began to come.

¹³⁹samajhte hain yeh bhi satsang hai।

¹³⁶They believed that this too was a satsang.

¹⁴⁰parantu ismen hai pavitrata ki mehnat, jisse hi hangaama hua।

¹³⁷However, here, because of having to make effort to remain pure, there was so much upheaval.

¹⁴¹abhi bhi hote rehte hain isliye gaaliyaan dete hain।

¹³⁸Even now it still continues to take place. ¹³⁹This is why there are insults.

¹⁴²kehte hain bhagaate the, patraani banaate the।

¹⁴⁰They say: He abducted women to make them into his queens.

¹⁴³patraani to svarga mein banengi na।

¹⁴¹However, they will become queens in heaven, will they not?

¹⁴⁴zaroor yahaan pavitra banaaya hoga।

¹⁴²Therefore, they will definitely have to be made pure here.

¹⁴⁵tum sabko sunaate ho - yeh mahaaraani-mahaaraaja banne ke liye knowledge hai।

¹⁴³You tell everyone that this is the knowledge to become emperors and empresses.

¹⁴⁶nar se naaraayan banne ki sachchi-sachchi katha tum sachche bhagwan se sunte ho।

¹⁴⁴You are listening to the true God telling the true story of becoming true Narayan from an ordinary human.

¹⁴⁷in lakshmi-naaraayan ko koi bhagwan-bhagavti kah nahin sakte।

¹⁴⁵This Lakshmi and Narayan cannot be called a god and goddess.

¹⁴⁸parantu pujaari log naaraayan ke chitra ko itna nahin maante jitna krishna ko।

¹⁴⁶However, worshippers do not believe in the image of Narayan as much as they do in the image of Krishna.

¹⁴⁹krishna ke chitra bahut khareed karte hain।

¹⁴⁷Many people buy pictures of Krishna.

¹⁵⁰krishna ka itna maan kyon hai?

¹⁴⁸Why is there so much respect for Krishna?

¹⁵¹kyonki chhota bachcha hai na।

¹⁴⁹Because he is a small child.

¹⁵²mahaatma se bhi bachchon ko oonch rakhte hain kyonki mahaatmaayen to gharbaar aadi sab banaakar phir chhodte hain।

¹⁵⁰Little children are considered to be more elevated than great souls (mahatmas) because mahatmas normally have a household which they then renounce.

¹⁵³koi baal brahmachaari bhi hote hain। ¹⁵⁴parantu unko maaloom hai kaam-krodh kya hote hain।

¹⁵¹There are some who remain celibate from birth, but they are still aware of what lust and anger are.

¹⁵⁵chhote bachche ko pata nahin rehta isliye mahaatma se oonch kaha jaata hai isliye krishna ko jaasti maan dete hain।

¹⁵²Little children are unaware of those vices. ¹⁵³This is why they are considered to be more elevated than the great souls. ¹⁵⁴This is why Krishna is given greater respect.

¹⁵⁶krishna ko dekh bahut khush hote hain।

¹⁵⁵Worshippers become very happy when they see an image of Krishna.

¹⁵⁷bhaarat ka lord krishna hai।

¹⁵⁶They speak of Lord Krishna in Bharat.

¹⁵⁸bachchiyaan bhi krishna ko bahut pyaar karti hain।

¹⁵⁷Even the daughters have a great deal of love for Krishna.

¹⁵⁹in jaisa pati mile, in jaisa bachcha mile।

¹⁵⁸They want to have a husband or a child like him.

¹⁶⁰krishna mein kashish bahut hai। ¹⁶¹satopradhaan hai na।

¹⁵⁹Krishna has great attraction because he is satopradhan.

¹⁶²baap kehte rehte, jitna yaad mein rahenge utna tamopradhaan se tamo rajo mein aate jaayenge aur khushi bhi hogi।

¹⁶⁰The Father continues to say: The more you stay in remembrance, the more you will change from tamopradhan and become tamo and then rajo and the happier you will also become.

¹⁶³pahle tum satopradhaan the to bahut khushi mein the phir kala kam hoti jaati hai।

¹⁶¹At first, when you were satopradhan, you were very happy. ¹⁶²Then, your degrees gradually continued to decrease.

¹⁶⁴tum jitna yaad karte rahenge to sukh bhi itna feel hoga aur tum transfer hote jaayenge। ¹⁶⁵tamo se rajo sato mein aate jaayenge to taakat, khushi, dhaarna badhti jaayegi।

¹⁶³The more you stay in remembrance, the happier you will feel and you will continue to be transferred. ¹⁶⁴From tamo, you will continue to go through the stages of rajo and sato and your strength, happiness and virtues will also continue to increase.

¹⁶⁷sikkha log gaate bhi hain tere bhaane sarva ka bhala।

¹⁶⁸tum jaante ho abhi hamaari chadhti kala hoti hai yaad se।

¹⁶⁷You know that your stage is now ascending by having this remembrance.

¹⁶⁸The more you stay in remembrance, the higher your stage will ascend.

¹⁷¹chandrama ki bhi lakeer rah jaati hai phir kala badhte-badhte sampoorn ban jaata hai।

¹⁷³chandrama par bhi grahan lagta hai to kehte hain de daan to chhoote grahan।

²²⁴The mouth also meows when the eyes see something and then your heart says you want to eat it. ²²⁵Therefore, you have to conquer your physical organs.
