Avyakt murli for Friday 8 January 1982

Warning : Sentence alignment between two languages is based on the number of characters. It is therefore not perfectly reliable.

You can correct the sentence alignment yourself on part or all of the murli.

Hindi is also shown in Latin characters, using an adapted form of ISO 15919 transliteration.

How to read the transliteration

This site uses transliteration based on ISO 15919, with a few adaptations to make reading easier: h is added after c, ś and ṣ, and i after the vowel r̥. These adaptations bring it closer to the Hunterian system used in India while retaining the distinctive marks of ISO 15919.

A few reading pointers:

1Avyakt BapDada Meeting the London Group 2Today, Baba has especially come to celebrate a meeting with the children who reside in London.

4‘ ‘ āj viśhēṣh landan nivāsī bachchō̃ sē milan manānē kē liē āyē haĩ .

3In fact, everyone is constantly loved by BapDada; everyone receives a special chance of a meeting.

5Vaisē tō sabhī bāpdādā kē liē sadā priya haĩ , sabhī kō viśhēṣh milnē kā chance milā hai lēkin āj nimitt landan nivāsiyō̃ sē milnā hai . 6Landan nivāsī bachchō̃ nē sēvā mē̃ dil va jān , sik va prēm sē apnā sahyōg diyā hai aur dētē hī rahē̃gē .

4However, today, Baba has especially come to meet the residents of London. 5Children who reside in London give their co-operation in service with their heart and soul and with a lot of love from deep in their heart and will continue to give this co-operation.

7Sva K|kē uṛtī kalā mē̃ bhī achchhā aṭainśan hai .

6Each of you pays good attention to your own flying stage.

8Number-vār tō jahā̃-tahā̃ haĩ hī . 9Phir bhī purūṣhārth key|kī raphtār achchhī hai .

7Of course, all are numberwise but, nevertheless, your speed of effort is good.

10 ( ēk pakṣhī uṛtā huā class mē̃ ā gayā ) sabhī uṛnā dēkhkar K|kē khuśh hō rahē hō .

8(A bird came flying into the hall.) 9All of you become very happy to see the bird flying.

11Aisē hī svayã key|kī bhī uṛtī kalā kitnī priya hōgī .

10In the same way, your own flying stage is also lovely.

12Jab uṛtē hō tō free hō , svatantr hō .

11When you fly, you are free, you are totally independent.

13Aur uṛnē kē bajāē nīchē ā jātē hō tō bandhan mē̃ ā jātē hō .

12But when you come down instead of flying, you come into bondage.

14Uṛtī kalā arthāt bandhanmukt , yōgyukt .

13To have the flying stage means to be free from bondage and accurately linked in yoga.

15Tō landan nivāsī kyā samajhtē haĩ  ?

14So what do you residents of London think?

16Uṛtī kalā hai nā  ?

15You do have the flying stage, do you not?

17Nīchē tō nahī̃ ātē hō  ?

16You don’t come down, do you?

18Agar nīchē ātē bhī hō tō nīchē vālō̃ kō ūpar lē jānē kē liē ātē hō , vaisē nahī̃ ātē .

17Even if you do come down, it is only to take up those who are down below and make them fly with you.

19Jō nīchē key|kī stage par sthit haĩ unhō̃ kō himmat aur ullās dilā K|kē uṛānē kē liē sēvā kē prati nīchē āyē aur phir ūpar chalē gayē , aisī practice hai  ?

18Otherwise, you don’t come down. 19Do you have the practice of coming down to serve those who are down below, to encourage them and give them enthusiasm and then go back up again?

20Kyā samajhtē hō  ?

20What do you think?

21Landan nivāsī group sadā dēh aur dēh key|kī duniyā key|kī ākarṣhaṇ sē nyārē aur sadā bāp K|kē pyārē haĩ .

21The group of the London residents is constantly beyond the attraction of the physical body and the physical world and constantly loved by the Father.

22Iskō kahā jātā hai - kamal-puṣpa samān .

22This is known as being like a lotus flower.

23Sēvā arth|earth rahtē huē bhī ‘ nyārē aur pyārē ' .

23Whilst living there for the sake of service, you remain loving and detached.

24Tō nyārā pyārā group hai nā  ?

24Therefore, this is a loving and detached group, is it not?

25Landan sē sārē vidēśh K|kē sēvā kēndrō̃ kā sambandh hai .

25London has a connection with all the centres abroad.

26Tō landan nivāsī is sēvā K|kē vr̥ikṣha kā foundation hō gayē .

26So you London residents have become the foundation of this tree of service.

27Foundation kamjōr tō sārā vr̥ikṣha kamjōr hō jāyēgā .

27If the foundation is weak, the whole tree becomes weak.

28Isliē foundation kō sadā apnē ūpar sēvā key|kī jimmēvārī sahit attention rakhnā hai .

28This is why you who are the foundation must constantly pay attention to yourself and remain aware of your responsibility for service.

29Vaisē tō harēk kē ūpar apnī aur viśhva K|kē sēvā key|kī jimmēvārī hai .

29Generally, everyone is responsible for self-service and world service.

30Us din sunāyā thā ki sab jimmēvārī K|kē tājdhārī haĩ .

30The other day, Baba told you that each one has to wear this crown of responsibility.

31Phir bhī āj landan nivāsī bachchō̃ kō viśhēṣh aṭainśan dilā rahē haĩ .

31Nevertheless, today, Baba is specially drawing the attention of you children who reside in London to this.

32Yah jimmēvārī kā tāj sadā kē liē double light banānē vālā hai .

32This crown of responsibility constantly makes you double-light.

33Bōjh vālā tāj nahī̃ hai .

33It is not a crown with a burden.

34Sarv prakār K|kē bōjh kō miṭānē vālā hai .

34It is one that finishes all types of burden.

35Anubhavī bhī hō ki jab tan-man-dhan , mansā-vāchā-karmaṇā sab rūp sē sēvādhārī ban , sēvā mē̃ busy rahtē hō tō sahaj hī māyājīt jagatjīt ban jātē hō .

35You have experienced that ,when you remain busy in all types of service, with your body, mind and wealth and through your thoughts, words and deeds, you can easily conquer Maya and become a conqueror of the world.

36Dēh kā bhān svataḥ hī , sahaj hī bhūlā huā hōtā hai  ?

36You easily and naturally forget the consciousness of the body.

37Mēhnat nahī̃ karnī paṛtī .

37You don’t need to labour for that.

38Anubhav hai nā  ?

38You do experience this, do you not?

39Sēvā K|kē samay bāp aur sēvā K|kē sivāē aur kuchh nahī̃ sūjhtā .

39At the time of doing service, you don't think of anything else except the Father and service.

40Khuśhī mē̃ nāchtē rahtē hō .

40You continue to dance in happiness.

41Tō yah jimmēvārī kā tāj halkā hai nā  ?

41Therefore this crown of responsibility is light, is it not?

42Arthāt halkā banānē vālā hai .

42That is, it makes you light, does it not?

43Isliē bāpdādā sabhī bachchō̃ kō ‘ rūhānī sēvādhārī ' kā title viśhēṣh yād dilātē haĩ .

43This is why BapDada is especially reminding all the children of their title of "Spiritual Servers".

44Bāpdādā bhī rūhānī sēvādhārī ban kar K|kē ātē haĩ .

44Even BapDada comes here as the spiritual Server.

45Tō jō bāp kā svarūp vah bachchō̃ kā svarūp .

45So the Father’s form is also the form of the children.

46Tō sabhī double vidēśhī tājdhārī hō nā  ?

46So are all you double-foreigners wearing your crown?

47Bāp samān sadā rūhānī sēvādhārī .

47You are constantly spiritual servers, like the Father.

48Ā̃kh khulī , milan manāyā aur sēvā K|kē kṣhētra par upasthit huē .

48As soon as you open your eyes, you celebrate a meeting and become present on the field of service.

49Good morning sē sēvā śhurū hōtī hai aur good night tak sēvā hī sēvā hai .

49Service begins with "Good morning" and there is nothing but service till you say "Good night".

50Jaisē nirantar yōgī aisē hī nirantar rūhānī sēvādhārī .

50Just as you are constant yogis, in the same way, you are constant spiritual servers.

51Chāhē karmaṇā sēvā bhī kartē hō tō karmaṇā dvārā bhī rūhō̃ kō rūhāniyat key|kī śhakti bhartē hō kyōṅki karmaṇā K|kē sāth-sāth mansā sēvā bhī kartē hō .

51Even when you do physical service, you are filling souls with the power of spirituality because, together with doing physical service, you are also doing service through the mind.

52Tō karmaṇā sēvā mē̃ bhī rūhānī sēvā .

52Therefore spiritual service is merged in physical service.

53Bhōjan banātē hō tō rūhāniyat kā bal bhōjan mē̃ bhar dētē hō , isliē bhōjan ‘ brahmā bhōjan ' ban jātā hai .

53When you prepare food, you fill that food with the power of spirituality. 54This is how it becomes Brahma Bhojan; it becomes pure food.

54Śhuddha ann ban jātā hai . 55Prasād K|kē samān ban jātā hai .

55It becomes like prasad (food that has been offered to God).

56Tō sthūl sēvā mē̃ bhī rūhānī sēvā bharī hai .

56Therefore spiritual service is merged in physical service.

57Aisē nirantar sēvādhārī , nirantar māyājīt hō jātē haĩ .

57This is the way you become constant servers and constant conquerors of Maya.

58Vighna vināśhak ban jātē haĩ .

58You become destroyers of obstacles.

59Tō landan nivāsī kyā haĩ  ?

59So what are you residents of London?

60- ‘ nirantar sēvādhārī ' .

60Constant servers!

61Landan mē̃ māyā tō nahī̃ ātī hai nā ki māyā kō bhī landan achchhā lagtā hai  ?

61Maya doesn’t come to London, does she? 62Or does Maya like London too?

62Achchhā —

63Achcha.

63Landan nivāsī abhī kyā varnā chāhtē haĩ  ?

64What do you residents of London want to do now?

64Achchhē-achchhē ratan haĩ landan K|kē .

65London has very good jewels.

65Jagah-jagah par gayē haĩ .

66They have gone to many different places.

66Vaisē sabhī vidēśh K|kē sēvākēndra ēk sē dūsrē , dūsrē sē tīsrē , aisē khultē haĩ .

67Generally, all the centres abroad have been opened by one being inspired by another.

67Abhī total kitnē sēvākēndra haĩ  ? 68 ( 50 ) tō 50 jagah kā foundation landan hai .

68Someone opens a centre somewhere, and then someone from that place will open another centre, and so on.

69Tō vr̥ikṣha sundar hō gayā nā .

69How many centres are there now in total?

70Jis tanā sē 50 ṭāl ṭāliyā̃ nikalē vah vr̥ikṣha kitnā sundar huā .

70(50.) So London is the foundation of 50 places. 71So the tree has become beautiful, has it not?

71Tō vidēśh kā vr̥ikṣha bhī vistār vālā achchhā phalībhūt hō gayā hai .

72A tree that has 50 branches and twigs is very beautiful. 73Therefore, the foreign tree has grown very large and fruitful.

72Bāpdādā bhī bachchō̃ K|kē , sirph landan nahī̃ sabhī bachchō̃ K|kē sēvā kā ummag utsāh dēkh khuśh hōtē haĩ .

74BapDada is pleased to see the zeal and enthusiasm that all the children, not just London residents, have for service.

73Vidēśh mē̃ lagan achchhī hai .

75Abroad they have very deep love for this.

74Yād kī bhī aur sēvā key|kī bhī , dōnō̃ key|kī lagan achchhī hai .

76The love they have for remembrance and service is very good there.

75Sirph ēk bāt hai ki māyā K|kē chhōṭē rūp sē bhī ghabrātē jaldī haĩ .

77However, there is just one thing, which is that you very quickly become afraid of small forms of Maya.

76Jaisē yahā̃ india mē̃ kaī brāhmaṇ jō haĩ , vē|way chūhē sē bhī ghabrātē haĩ , kākarōc sē bhī ghabrātē haĩ . 77Tō sirph vidēśhī bachchē issē ghabrā jātē haĩ .

78Just as some Brahmins in India are afraid of mice and cockroaches, you foreign children become afraid of these small forms of Maya.

78Chhōṭē kō baṛā samajh lētē haĩ . 79Lēkin hai kuchh nahī̃ .

79You consider something very small to be big when, in fact, it is nothing.

80Kāgaj K|kē śhēr kō sachchā śhēr samajh lētē haĩ .

80You consider a paper lion to be a real lion.

81Jitnī lagan hai nā utnā ghabrānē K|kē saṅskār thōṛā-sā maidān par ā jātē haĩ .

81Although you have so much love, the sanskar of becoming afraid also emerges on the field to the same extent.

82Tō vidēśhī bachchō̃ kō māyā sē ghabrānā nahī̃ chāhiē , khēlnā chāhiē .

82Therefore, you foreign children must not become afraid of Maya. 83You should play with her.

83Kāgaj K|kē śhēr sē khēlnā hōtā hai yā ghabrānā hōtā hai  ?

84Would you play with a paper lion or be afraid of it?

84Khilaunā hō gayā nā  ?

85That is just a toy, is it not?

85Khilaunē sē ghabrānē vālē kō kyā kahē̃gē  ?

86What would you call those who are afraid of toys?

86Jitnī mēhnat kartē hō us hisāb sē , double vidēśhī sabhī number one seat lē saktē hō kyōṅki dūsrē dharm K|kē pardē K|kē andar , double pardē K|kē andar bāp kō pahchān liyā hai .

87According to the effort that you double foreigners make, you can claim the number one seat, because whilst behind the curtains of another religion, whilst behind double curtains, you have recognised the Father.

87Ēk tō sādhāraṇ svarūp kā pardā aur dūsrā dharm kā bhī pardā hai .

88One curtain is of the ordinary form and the other curtain is of another religion.

88Bhāratvāsiyō̃ kō tō ēk hī pardē kō jānnā hōtā hai lēkin vidēśhī bachchē dōnō̃ pardē K|kē andar jānnē vālē haĩ .

89The people of Bharat only have to have recognition through one curtain, but you children abroad have recognised Him from behind both curtains.

89Himmat vālē bhī bahut haĩ , asambhav kō sambhav bhī kiyā hai .

90You have a lot of courage. 91You have made the impossible possible.

90Jō kriściyan yā anya dharm vālē samajhtē haĩ ki hamārē dharm vālē brāhmaṇ kaisē ban saktē , asambhav hai .

92Christians and those of other religions ask how people of their religion can become Brahmins. 93They say that it is impossible.

91Tō asambhav kō sambhav kiyā hai , jānnē mē̃ bhī hōśhiyār , mānnē mē̃ bhī hōśhiyār haĩ .

94So you have made the impossible become possible. 95You are clever in understanding knowledge and also in accepting it.

92Dōnō̃ mē̃ number one hō .

96You are number one in both.

93Bākī chal karkē chūhā ā jātā hai tō ghabrā jātē hō .

97However, when a mouse comes in between you become afraid.

94Hai sahaj mārg lēkin apnē vyarth saṅkalpō̃ kō mix karnē sē sahaj bhī muśhkil hō jātā hai .

98It is an easy path but when you mix your waste thoughts, then those easy things become difficult.

95Tō ismē̃ bhī jump lagāō .

99Therefore, take a jump in this too.

96Māyā kō parakhnē key|kī ā̃kh tēj karō .

100Make your eyes sharp so that you can recognize Maya.

97Misaanḍarasṭainḍa kar lētē hō .

101You misunderstand things.

98Kāgaj kō real samajh lēnā misaanḍarasṭaiḍiṅg hō gaī nā .

102To consider something of paper to be real is a misunderstanding, is it not?

99Nahī̃ tō double vidēśhiyō̃ key|kī viśhēṣhtā bhī bahut haĩ .

103Otherwise, you double foreigners have many specialties.

100Sirph ēk yah kamzōrī hai - bas .

104However, there is just this one weakness.

101Phir apnē ūpar hanstē bhī bahut haĩ , jab jān lētē haĩ ki yah kāgaj kā śhēr hai , real nahī̃ hai tō hanstē haĩ .

105Then, you even laugh at yourself a great deal. 106When you realize that it is only a paper lion and not real, you laugh at yourself.

102Check bhī kar lētē , change bhī kar lētē lēkin us samay ghabrānē K|kē kāraṇ nīchē ā jātē haĩ yā bīch mē̃ ā jātē haĩ .

107You check yourself and also change yourself. 108However, at that time because you are afraid, you come right down or you come down half way.

103Phir ūpar jānē kē liē mēhnat kartē tō sahaj kē bajāē mēhnat kā anubhav hōtā hai .

109Then you have to make effort to go up again. 110Then, instead of experiencing it to be easy, you find you have to labour.

104Vaisē jarā bhī mēhnat nahī̃ hai .

111Otherwise there is no labour involved.

105Bāp K|kē banē , adhikārī ātmā banē , khajānē K|kē , ghar K|kē , rājya K|kē mālik banē aur kyā chāhiē  ?

112Once you belong to the Father, you become a soul who has claimed all rights. 113You become a master of the treasures, the home and the kingdom.

106Tō abhī kyā karē̃gē  ?

114So what more do you want?

107Ghabrānē K|kē saṅskārō̃ kō yahā̃ hī chhōṛkar jānā .

115So what will you do now? 116Leave the sanskars of being afraid here.

108Samjhā  !

117Do you understand?

109Bāpdādā bhī khēl dēkhtē rahtē haĩ , hanstē rahtē haĩ .

118BapDada also continues to watch the games and is amused.

110Bachchē gahrāī mē̃ bhī jātē haĩ lēkin gahrāī K|kē sāth-sāth kahā̃-kahā̃ ghabrātē bhī haĩ .

119You children go into the depths, but together with going into the depths, you also sometimes become afraid.

111Last sō fast K|kē bhī saṅskār haĩ .

120You also have the sanskars of having come last and going fast.

112Pahlē vidēśhiyō̃ mē̃ viśhēṣh phansnē K|kē saṅskār thē abhī haĩ fast jānē K|kē saṅskār .

121Previously, you foreigners had sanskars of becoming trapped by someone in particular, but you now have sanskars of going fast.

113Ēk mē̃ nahī̃ phanstē haĩ lēkin anēkō̃ mē̃ phans jātē haĩ .

122You don't become trapped in one, but in many! 123There are so many cages in just one life!

114Ēk hī life mē̃ kitnē piñjarē hōtē haĩ  ?

124You come out of one cage and become trapped in another.

115Ēk piñjarē sē nikaltē dūsrē mē̃ phanstē , dūsrē sē nikaltē tīsrē mē̃ phanstē .

125You come out of the second cage and become trapped in the third.

116Tō jitnā hī phansnē K|kē saṅskār thē utnā hī fast jānē K|kē saṅskār haĩ .

126Therefore, to the extent that you had sanskars of becoming trapped, so you now have the sanskars of going fast.

117Sirph ēk bāt hai , chhōṭī chīj kō baṛā nahī̃ banāō .

127Just remember one thing: don't make a small thing into something very big!

118Baṛē kō chhōṭā banāō .

128Make big things small!

119Yah bhī hōtā hai kyā  ? 120Yah question nahī̃ .

129Don't ask the question, "Does this also have to happen?"

121Yah kyā huā  ? 122Aisē bhī hōtā hai  ?

130Instead of asking, "What happened?

123Iskē bajāē jō hōtā hai , kalyāṇkārī hai .

131Does this also have to happen?", think that whatever happens is beneficial.

124Question khatm hōnē chāhiē .

132All questions should now be finished.

125Fullstop .

133Full stop.

126Buddhi kō ismē̃ jyādā nahī̃ chalāō nahī̃ tō energy west|waste chalī jātī hai aur apnē kō śhaktiśhālī nahī̃ anubhav kartē .

134Don’t use your intellect a great deal in this. 135Otherwise you waste energy and you don't experience yourself to be powerful.

127Question mark jyādā hōtē haĩ .

136There are a lot more question marks.

128Tō ab madhuban key|kī vardān bhūmi mē̃ question mark khatm karkē , fullstop lagā K|kē jāō .

137So now, when you leave Madhuban, the land of blessings, leave behind the question-mark and go, having put a full-stop.

129Question mark muśhkil hai , fullstop sahaj hai .

138A question mark is difficult, but a full-stop is easy!

130Tō sahaj kō chhōṛkar muśhkil kō kyō̃ apnātē hō  !

139So why do you put aside something easy and adopt something difficult?

131Usmē̃ energy west|waste hai aur fullstop mē̃ life hī baisṭa hō jāyēgī .

140Energy is wasted in that, but when you apply a full-stop, life becomes the best. 141One leads to waste and the other makes things the best.

132Vahā̃ west|waste vahā̃ baisṭa .

142So what should you do? 143Now don't waste anything.

133Tō kyā karnā chāhiē  ?

144Let every thought and second be the best. 145Achcha.

134Abhī west|waste nahī̃ karnā .

146Now Baba has had a heart-to-heart conversation with the residents of London. 147Multimillionfold love and remembrance from BapDada to all the long-lost and now-found children who are the residents of London. 148You may not have arrived in Madhuban in the corporeal form, but BapDada always sees all you children personally in front of Him. 149To all serviceable children, how can Baba mention each one's name personally, so to all you children, to all you co-operative souls, who must all become carefree and maintain intoxication because your Companion is the Father Himself.

135Her|har saṅkalp baisṭa , her|har second baisṭa .

150Achcha, love and remembrance to everyone.

136Achchhā landan nivāsiyō̃ K|kē sāth-sāth key|kī rūh - rūhān hō gaī .

151Blessing: May you be an embodiment of virtues and experience all virtues by having an equal balance of three types of service.

137Landan K|kē sabhī sikīladhē bachchō̃ kō bāpdādā kā padmāpadmaguṇā yādpyār svīkār hō .

152When you children remain busy in serving through your thoughts, words and actions, you become embodiments of success. 153There should be equal marks in all three.

138Sākār mē̃ madhuban mē̃ nahī̃ pahũchē haĩ lēkin bāpdādā sadā bachchō̃ kō sammukh dēkhtē haĩ .

154When there is an equal balance of all three types of service throughout the day, you become an embodiment of virtues and able to pass with honour.

139Jō bhī serviceable bachchē haĩ , ēk-ēk kā nām kyā lē̃ , jō bhī sabhī haĩ , sabhī sahyōgī ātmāyē̃ haĩ , sabhī bēphikar ban phakhur mē̃ rahnā kyōṅki sabkā sāthī svayã bāp hai .

155The decoration of all divine virtues will be very clearly visible in you. 156To give co-operation to one another in imbibing the Father's virtues and imbibing virtues in yourself is to become an embodiment of virtues. 157The donation of virtue is the greatest donation.

140Achchhā - sabhī kō yādpyār svīkār .

158Slogan: Make all your accounts overflowing by using all your treasures for service. 159* * * O M S H A N T I* * *
