³apne behad baap ki mahima suni।

⁵You heard the praise of your unlimited Father.

⁴common manushya ki aisi mahima nahin ho sakti hai।

⁶There cannot be such praise of common human beings.

⁵yeh usi ek ki mahima hai jo is mahima ka adhikaari hai kyonki unki mahima unke kartavya anusaar gaai jaati hai।

⁷This praise is of the One who has the right to this praise, because His praise is sung according to His activities.

⁶unka kartavya sab manushya aatmaon se mahaan hai kyonki sabhi manushya aatmaon ke liye hi unka kartavya hai।

⁸His activities are greater than those of all human beings, because His activities are for all human beings.

⁷to sabse ooncha ho gaya na kyonki sabke liye sabka gati sadgati daata ek।

⁹So, He has become the highest of all, because there is only one Bestower of Liberation and Salvation for all.

⁸aise nahin kahenge ki thodon ki gati sadgati ki।

¹⁰You cannot say that He granted liberation and salvation to only a few.

⁹woh hai sarva ka gati sadgati daata।

¹¹He is the Bestower of Liberation and Salvation for all.

¹⁰to sabki authority ho gai na।

¹²So, He is the authority for everyone, is He not?

¹¹vaise bhi common tarah se dekha jaae to mahima tab hi hoti hai jab koi kartavya karta hai।

¹³In any case, if you look at it in a common way, praise is only sung of someone when he carries out a task.

¹²jinhonne kuchh-na-kuchh thoda bahut aisa kaam kiya hai to unki dekho mahima hai।

¹⁴Those who have carried out such tasks are praised. ¹⁵So, the Father’s praise is that He is the Highest on High.

¹³to baap ki bhi jo mahima hai ki woh oonche te ooncha hai, to zaroor usne yahaan aa karke mahaan kartavya kiya hai aur vo hamaare liye, manushya srishti ke liye mahaan oonch kartavya kiya kyonki is srishti ka harta karta use kaha jaata hai।

¹⁶He must have definitely come here and carried out a great task and that must have been for us, for the world of humans. ¹⁷He carried out a great and elevated task for this world, because He is known as the Sustainer of this world. ¹⁸So, He came and made the world so elevated.

¹⁴to usne aa karke manushya srishti ko oonch banaaya hai।

¹⁹He transformed everything including the elements.

¹⁵prakriti sahit sabko parivartan mein laaya hai।

²⁰However, with which method did He bring about transformation?

¹⁶lekin kis yukti se laaya hai? ¹⁷woh baith karke samjhaate hain kyonki aise nahin hai pahle manushya aatma, aatma ko change laane se phir aatma ke bal se, apne karma ke bal se phir yeh sab prakriti tatva aadi par bhi unka bal kaam karta hai।

²¹He sits and explains this, because it isn’t that human souls bring about a change in souls or that, with the power of souls, with the power of your actions, all of that power works on matter and the elements. ²²In fact, He is the one who creates, and if He creates, how does He create?

¹⁸lekin banaane vaala to woh ho gaya na, isliye banaane vaala vo parantu banaate kaise hain? ¹⁹jab tak manushya aatma oonchi na banen tab tak aatma ke aadhaar se shareer prakriti tatva aadi yeh sabhi nambarvaar usi taakat mein aate hain, usse phir saari srishti hari-bhari sukhdaai banti hai।

²³When souls become elevated, the bodies, the elements, matter, etc. all come into their power numberwise on the basis of the soul, and it is through this that the whole world becomes fruitful (green and fresh) and happy. ²⁴The Father who makes the human world happy knows how the human world is going to become happy.

²⁰to manushya srishti ko sukhdaai banaane vaala baap jaanta hai ki manushya srishti sukhdaai kaise banegi?

²⁵Until souls become clean (pure), the world cannot be happy and this is why He first comes and makes souls clean.

²¹jab tak aatmaayen svachchha nahin bani hain tab tak sansaar sukhdaai nahin ho sakta hai isliye vo aa karke pahle-pahle aatmaon ko hi svachchha banaate hain। ²²abhi aatma ko impyuriti (asvachchhata) lagi hai। ²³pahle us impyuriti ko nikaalna hai। ²⁴phir aatma ke bal se har cheez se unki tamopradhaanta badal karke satopradhaanta hogi, jisko kahenge ki sabhi golden aged mein aa jaate hain, to yeh tatva aadi sab golden aged stage mein aa jaate hain।

²⁶Now, souls are in a state of impurity (unclean).

²⁵parantu pahle aatma ki stage badalti hai।

²⁷So, first this impurity has to be removed.

²⁶to aatmaon ka badlaane vaala arthaat aatmaon ko pyooriphaaeed banaane vaala phir authority vo ho gaya।

²⁸Then, with the power of souls, everything that is impure (tamopradhan) will become pure (satopradhan), which is referred to as everyone becoming golden aged.

²⁷tum dekhte ho na ki abhi duniya badalti ja rahi hai। ²⁸pahle to apne ko badalna hai, jab ham apne ko badlenge tab uske aadhaar se duniya badlegi।

²⁹So, all these elements, etc. come into their golden-aged stage, but first, the stage of souls has to change. ³⁰So, He is the Authority who changes souls, that is, who purifies souls.

²⁹agar abhi tak hamaare mein pharka nahin aaya hai, apne ko hi nahin badla hai to phir duniya kaise badlegi isliye apni jaanch roz karo।

³¹You can see that the world is now changing. ³²First we have to change ourselves and, when we have changed ourselves, on that basis, the world will change.

³⁰jaise potaamel rakhne vaale raat ko apna khaata dekhte hain na ki aaj kya jama hua?

³³If there isn’t any change in ourselves even now, if we haven’t changed ourselves, then how will the world change?

³¹sab apna hisaab rakhte hain।

³⁴So, check yourselves every day.

³²to yeh bhi apna potaamel rakhna hai ki saare din mein hamaara kitna phaayda raha, kitna nuksaan raha?

³³agar nuksaan mein kuchh jyaada gaya to phir doosre din ke liye phir khabardaar rehna hai।

³⁷So, here, too, you have to keep your chart as to how much profit and how much loss there was throughout the day.

³⁴isi tarah se apna attention rakhne se phir ham phaayde mein jaate-jaate apni jo position hai usko pakadte chalenge।

³⁸If there was greater loss, then there has to be more caution the next day. ³⁹By paying attention in this way, by making more profit, we will be able to reach our position.

³⁵to aisi jaanch rakhte apne ko badla hua mahsoos karna chaahiye।

⁴⁰So, by checking yourself in this way, you will experience a change in yourself.

³⁶aise nahin ki ham to devta banenge, woh to peechhe banenge, abhi jaise hain vaise theek hain...।

⁴¹Do not think, “I will become a deity, but that will be later, whatever I am now is fine.” ⁴²No; those deity sanskars have to be created now.

³⁷nahin। ³⁸abhi se woh devtaai sanskaar banaane hain। ³⁹abhi tak jo 5 vikaaron ke vash sanskaar chalte the, abhi dekhna hai ki un vikaaron se ham chhootte ja rahe hain?

⁴³Whatever sanskars we had under the influence of the five vices, we now have to see whether we are becoming free from those vices. ⁴⁴Is the anger that there was in me being removed?

⁴⁰hamaare mein jo krodh aadi tha woh nikalta ja raha hai?

⁴⁵Are the sanskars of the vices of greed and attachment changing?

⁴¹lobh ya moh aadi jo tha woh sab vikaari sanskaar badalte ja rahe hain?

⁴⁶If these are changing and you are becoming free, then understand that you are changing.

⁴²agar badalte ja rahe hain, chhootte ja rahe hain to maano ham badalte ja rahe hain।

⁴⁷If you are not becoming free of these, then you can understand that you have not changed.

⁴³agar nahin chhootte hain to samjho ki abhi ham badle nahin hai।

⁴⁸So you should feel yourself changing; there has to be some change in yourself.

⁴⁴to badalne ka pharka mahsoos hona chaahiye, apne mein change aani chaahiye। ⁴⁵aise nahin ki saara din vikaari khaate mein hi chalte rahen, baaki samjhen ki hamne achha koi daan-punya kiya, bas।

⁴⁹Let it not be that throughout the day, you continue to move along on the basis of the account of vices and, just because you have given a little donation or performed some charity, that is fine; no.

⁴⁶nahin। ⁴⁷hamaara jo karma ka khaata chalta hai, usi mein hamko sambhalna hai।

⁵⁰We have to take care of ourselves with the account of our actions.

⁴⁸ham jo kuchh karte hain usmein kisi vikaar ke vash ho apna vikarmi khaata to nahin banaate hain?

⁵¹Whatever you are doing, check that you are not creating an account of vice by doing something under the influence of vice.

⁴⁹ismen apne aapko sambhaalna hai।

⁵²You have to take care of yourself in this.

⁵⁰yeh saara potaamel rakhna hai aur sone se pahle 10-15 minute apne ko dekhna chaahiye ki saara din hamaara kaise beeta?

⁵³You have to keep this whole account. ⁵⁴Before going to sleep, check yourself for ten to fifteen minutes as to how your day went.

⁵⁴to paapon se hi to bachna hai na।

⁶⁰So, you have to save yourself from performing sins.

⁵⁵hamko in vikaaron ne hi bura banaaya hai।

⁶¹These vices have made us bad.

⁵⁶vikaaron ke kaaran hi ham duhkhi hue hain।

⁶²We have become unhappy because of the vices.

⁵⁷abhi humein duhkh se chhootna hai to yahi mukhya cheez hai।

⁶³We now have to become free from sorrow and this is the main thing.

⁵⁸bhakti mein bhi paramatma ko ham pukaarte hain, yaad karte hain jo bhi kuchh yatna (purushaartha) karte hain, woh kisliye karte hain?

⁶⁴On the path of devotion, we call out to God and we remember Him. ⁶⁵Whatever efforts we make, what are we doing those for?

⁵⁹sukh aur shanti ke liye karte hain na!

⁶⁶We do those for happiness and peace.

⁶⁰to uski yeh practical practice abhi karaai jaati hai।

⁶⁷So, we are made to have this practical practice at this time.

⁶¹yeh practical karne ki college hai, iski practice karne se ham svachchha athva pavitra bante jaayenge।

⁶⁸This is the college for doing it practically. ⁶⁹By practising this, we will become clean, that is, we will continue to become pure.

⁶²phir hamaara jo aadi sanaatan pavitra pravritti ka lakshya hai vo ham pa lenge।

⁷⁰Then, our aim of the original, eternal, pure family will be attained.

⁶³jaise koi doctor banne ke liye daaktari college mein jaayega, to doktari practice se doctor banta jaayega।

⁷¹For instance, someone would go to a medical college to become a doctor, and he would become a doctor by having some medical practice (practical experience).

⁶⁴isi tarah se ham bhi is college mein is padhaai se athva is practice se in vikaaron se athva paap karma karne se chhootte svachchha hote jaayenge।

⁷²In this way, in this college, we too will continue to become free from these vices, that is, from sinful actions, with this study, that is, with this practice.

⁶⁵phir svachchha ki degree kya hai?

⁷³So, what then is the degree of being clean?

⁶⁶devta।

⁷⁴Deity.

⁶⁷yeh devtaayen to gaaye hue hain na, unki mahima hai sarvagun sampanna, solah kala sampoorn, sampoorn nirvikaari... to aise kaise banenge?

⁷⁵These deities have been remembered and their praise is: full of all virtues, sixteen celestial degrees full, fully viceless… ⁷⁶So, how will we become like that?

⁶⁸aise nahin ham to bane banaaye hain, nahin।

⁷⁷It isn’t that we have already become that. ⁷⁸No.

⁶⁹banna hai kyonki ham hi bigde hain hamko hi banna hai।

⁷⁹We have to become that, because we have been spoilt and we have to become that again.

⁷⁰aise nahin devtaaon ki koi doosri duniya hai।

⁸⁰It isn’t that there is another world of the deities.

⁷¹ham manushya hi devta banne hain।

⁸¹We human beings are going to become deities.

⁷²woh devta hi gire hain, ab phir chadhna hai।

⁸²Those deities have fallen and they now have to rise.

⁷³lekin chadhne ka dhang baap sikhla rahe hain।

⁸³In fact, the Father is teaching us how to rise.

⁷⁴abhi unke saath humein apna relation jodna hai।

⁸⁴We now have to forge a relationship with Him.

⁷⁵abhi baap ne aa karke roshni di hai, aakhir tum mere ho abhi mere ho karke kaise raho।

⁸⁵The Father has now come and enlightened us: Ultimately, you belong to Me, so how can you always be Mine?

⁷⁶jaise laukik mein baap bachchon ka, bachcha baap ka kaise hokar rehta hai।

⁸⁶In lokik life, how do the children continue to belong to their father and the father to his children?

⁷⁷aise tum tan, man, dhan se mere ho karke chalo। ⁷⁸kaise chalo!

⁸⁷In the same way, you have to continue to move along belonging to Me with your body, mind and wealth.

⁷⁹uska aadarsha (pramaan) yeh (baba) hai jiske tan mein aata hai, woh apna tan man dhan sab unke havaale kar unka hokarke chal rahe hain।

⁸⁸How do you move along? ⁸⁹The example of that is this Dada in whose body He comes. ⁹⁰He has given everything – his body, mind and wealth – and is moving along belonging to Him.

⁸⁰aise follow father।

⁹¹Follow the Father in the same way.

⁸¹ismen aur kuchh poochhne ki aur moonjhane ki baat nahin hai।

⁹²There is nothing to ask about or to be confused about in this.

⁸²seedhi saaph baat hai।

⁹³It is a simple and straight-forward matter.

⁸³to abhi chalte raho।

⁹⁴So, now continue to move along.

⁸⁴aise nahin suno bahut aur dhaaran karo thoda। ⁸⁵nahin।

⁸⁷jo sunte ho usko practical mein kaise laayen uska poora khyaal rakhte raho।

⁸⁸apni practice ko aage badhaate raho।

⁹⁸Continue to move forward with your practice.

⁸⁹aise nahin sunte rahen, sunte rahen...।

⁹⁵jo kehte ho, jo sunte ho woh karo। ⁹⁶bas।

⁹⁷doosri baat nahin।

¹⁰⁵yeh hamaara kaun-sa parivaar hai, woh nambarvaar batlaate hain।

¹⁰⁶ham parampita paramatma shiv ke potre hain, brahma sarasvati ki mukh santaan hain aur vishnu shankar hamaare taaya ji hain aur ham aapas mein sabhi bhaai behen thahre।

¹¹⁹We are the mouth-born children of Brahma and Saraswati, and Vishnu and Shankar are our uncles, and we are all related to one another as brothers and sisters. ¹²⁰This is our small world.

¹⁰⁷yeh hai apna chhota-sa sansaar... inke aage aur sambandh racha hi nahin hai, isi samay ka itna hi sambandh kahenge।

¹²¹No more relationships other than these are created. ¹²²At this time, we only have these relations. ¹²³Look, we are related to such a great Authority.

¹⁰⁸dekho hamaara sambandh kitna badi authority se hai!

¹²⁴Our Granddad is Shiva and His name is so grand.

¹⁰⁹hamaara grand papa hai shiv, unka naam kitna bhaari hai, vo saari manushya srishti ka beejroop hai। ¹¹⁰sarva aatmaon ka kalyaankaari hone kaaran unko kaha jaata hai har har bholaanaath shiv mahaadev।

¹²⁵He is the Seed of the whole human world. ¹²⁶Because He gives benefit to the whole world, He is called Har Har Bholanath Shiva Mahadev (The Innocent Lord Shiva, the Great Deity who removes all sorrow).

¹¹¹vo saari srishti ka duhkh harta, sukh karta hai, us dvaara humein sukh-shanti-pavitrata ka bada hak milta hai, shanti mein phir koi karmabandhan ka hisaab-kitaab nahin rehta।

¹²⁷He is the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness for the whole world. ¹²⁸We receive a huge right to happiness, peace and purity from Him. ¹²⁹In that peace, there are no karmic accounts of karmic bondage.

¹¹²parantu yeh donon vastu pavitrata ke aadhaar par rakhte hain।

¹³⁰However, the basis of both of these (peace and happiness) is purity.

¹¹³jab tak pita ki paravrish ka poorn varsa le, pita se certificate nahin mila hai, tab tak vo varsa mil nahin sakta।

¹³¹Until we claim the full inheritance of the Father’s sustenance, until we receive the certificate from the Father, we cannot receive that inheritance.

¹¹⁴dekho, brahma ke oopar kitna bada kaam hai - malechchha 5 vikaaron mein maili apvitra aatmaon ko gulgul banaate hain, jis alaukik kaarya ka ujoora phir satayug ka pahla number shreekrishna pad milta hai।

¹³²Look, Brahma has so much work to do. ¹³³He makes beautiful the souls who have become dirty, unclean and impure with the five vices. ¹³⁴The reward of that alokik task is received in the golden age as the first number status of Shri Krishna.

¹¹⁵ab dekho us pita ke saath tumhaara kaisa sambandh hai!

¹³⁵Look what your relationship is with that Father.

¹¹⁶to kitna bephikar aur khush hona chaahiye।

¹³⁶So, you have to remain so carefree and happy.

¹¹⁷ab har ek apni dil se poochhe ham unke poorn reeti ho chuke hain?

¹³⁷Now, let each one of you ask your heart: Do I belong to Him completely?

¹¹⁸sochna chaahiye ki jab paramatma baap aaya hai to unse ham complete varsa le leven।

¹³⁸Think about this: Since the Father, the Supreme Soul, has come, we should claim our complete inheritance from Him.

¹¹⁹student ka kaam hai sampoorn purushaartha kar scholarship lena, to ham pahla number lottery kyon na win karen!

¹²⁰woh hai vijay maala mein piroya jaana।

¹²¹baaki koi hain jo do laddu pakadkar baithe hain, yahaan ka bhi had ka sukh loon aur vahaan bhi vaikuntha mein kuchh-na-kuchh sukh le lenge, aise vichaarvaan ko madhyam aur kanishtha purushaarthi kahenge, na ki sarvottam purushaarthi।

¹⁴²However, there are some who are sitting holding two ladoos (Something in each hand. ¹⁴³A foot in two boats). ¹⁴⁴They want to experience the limited happiness here and also a little happiness of the world of Paradise. ¹⁴⁵Those who have such thoughts are said to be medium or low level effort-makers, not those who are most elevated effort-makers.

¹²²jab baap dene mein aanaakaani nahin karta to lene vaale kyon karte hain?

¹⁴⁶Since the Father does not compromise in any way in giving, why are those who are receiving it doing that?

¹²³tab gurunaanak ne kaha paramatma to daata hai, samartha hai magar aatmaon ko lene ki bhi taakat nahin, kahaavat hai denda de, lenda thak paave।

¹⁴⁷This is why Guru Nanak had said: God is the Bestower. ¹⁴⁸He is the Almighty, but souls do not even have the power to take.

¹²⁴(dene vaala deta hai lekin lene vaala thak jaata hai) aapke dil mein aata hoga ham kyon nahin chaahenge ki ham bhi yeh pad paayen parantu dekho, baba kitni mehnat karta hai, phir bhi maaya kitna vighna daalti hai, kyon?

¹⁴⁹There is a saying: The One giving doesn’t get tired giving, but those who are receiving get tired receiving. ¹⁵⁰It may have entered your hearts: Why would I not wish to have that status? ¹⁵¹However, look how much effort Baba makes, and even then, Maya causes so many obstacles.

¹²⁵ab maaya ka raajya samaapta hone vaala hai।

¹⁵²Why? ¹⁵³Maya’s kingdom is now going to finish.

¹²⁶ab maaya ne saara saar nikaal diya hai tab hi paramatma aata hai।

¹⁵⁴Maya has now taken away all sweetness, and it is then that God comes.

¹²⁷usmein sab ras samaaya hua hai, unse sabhi sambandhon ki rasna milti hai tab hi tvamev maataashcha pita... aadi yeh mahima us paramatma ki gaai hui hai, to balihaari is samay ki hai jo aisa sambandh hua hai।

¹⁵⁵He is filled with all sweetness. ¹⁵⁶We receive the sweetness of all relationships from Him and this is why it is sung in praise of God: You are the Mother, you are the Father… ¹⁵⁷So, the greatness is of the time when we have this relationship with Him.

¹²⁸to paramatma ke saath itna sampoorn sambandh jodna hai jo 21 janmon ke liye sukh praapta ho jaaye, yeh hai purushaartha ki siddhi।

¹⁵⁸So, we have to forge a complete relationship with God, so that we receive happiness for 21 births. ¹⁵⁹This is the reward of our efforts.

¹²⁹parantu 21 janma ka naam sun thande mat pad jaana।

¹⁶⁰However, don’t become cold on hearing about 21 births.

¹³⁰aise nahin sochna ki 21 janmon ke liye itna is samay purushaartha bhi karen, phir bhi 21 janmon ke baad girna hi hai to siddhi kya hui?

¹⁶¹Do not think: We have to make effort for this much time for 21 births, and then, even after 21 births, we still have to fall, and so what have we achieved?

¹³¹parantu drama ke andar aatmaon ki jitni sarvottam siddhi mukrar hai vo to milegi na!

¹⁶²However, according to the drama, whatever elevated rewards are fixed for souls, they will be received, will they not?

¹³²baap aakarke humein sampoorn stage par pahuncha deta hai, parantu ham bachche baba ko bhool jaate hain to zaroor girenge, ismen baap ka koi dosh nahin hai।

¹⁶³The Father comes and enables us to reach our complete and perfect stage, but we children forget Baba and so we will surely fall. ¹⁶⁴The Father cannot be blamed for that.

¹³³ab kami hui to ham bachchon ki, satayug treta ka saara sukh is janma ke purushaartha par aadhaar rakhta hai to kyon na sampoorn purushaartha kar apna sarvottam part bajaayen!

¹⁶⁵It is the weakness of us children. ¹⁶⁶All the happiness of the golden and silver ages is based upon the efforts of this birth, and so why should we not make full effort and play our most elevated parts?

¹³⁴kyon na purushaartha kar woh varsa leven।

¹⁶⁷Why should we not make effort and claim that inheritance?

¹³⁵purushaartha manushya sada sukh ke liye hi karta hai, sukh duhkh se nyaare hone ke liye koi purushaartha nahin karta, vo to drama ke ant mein paramatma aae sabhi aatmaon ko saja de, pavitra banaae part se mukta karenge।

¹⁶⁸Human beings always make effort to receive happiness. ¹⁶⁹No one makes effort to go beyond happiness and sorrow. ¹⁷⁰It is at the end of the drama that God comes, gives the consequences (punishment) to all souls, purifies them and liberates them from their parts.

¹³⁶yeh to paramatma ka kaarya hai vo apne mukrar samay par aapehi aakar bataata hai।

¹⁷¹This is God’s task and He will come at His fixed time and tell us this.

¹³⁷ab jab aatmaon ko phir bhi part mein aana hi padega to kyon na sarvottam part bajaayen।

¹⁷²Since you souls have to come and play your parts again, why not play the most elevated part? ¹⁷³Achcha.

¹³⁸achha - meethe-meethe bachchon prati maa ka yaadapyaar।

¹⁷⁴To the sweet, sweet children, love and remembrance from the Mother.

¹⁷⁶Blessing: May you always be unshakeable and immovable and with the awareness of the word “Baba”, transform the word “reason” into “solution”.

¹⁴¹koi bhi paristhiti jo bhal halchal vaali ho lekin baba kaha aur achal banen।

¹⁷⁷ As soon as you say “Baba” for a situation of fluctuation, you become unshakeable.

¹⁴²jab paristhitiyon ke chintan mein chale jaate ho to mushkil ka anubhav hota hai।

¹⁷⁸When you start thinking about the situation, you experience difficulty.

¹⁴³agar kaaran ke bajaae nivaaran mein chale jaao to kaaran hi nivaaran ban jaae kyonki master sarvashaktimaan braahmanon ke aage paristhitiyaan cheenti samaan bhi nahin।

¹⁷⁹If, instead of thinking about the reason, you start to think about the solution, then the reason itself will become the solution because situations are not even like ants in front of master almighty authority Brahmins.

¹⁴⁴sirf kya hua, kyon hua yeh sochne ke bajaae, jo hua usmein kalyaan bhara hua hai, seva samaai hui hai.. bhal roop circumstance ka ho lekin samaai seva hai-is roop se dekhenge to sada achal adol rahenge।

¹⁸⁰Instead of just thinking about what happened or why it happened, think that whatever happened was something in which there was benefit, in which service was merged. ¹⁸¹Then, although it may seem like an adverse circumstance, but service is merged in it, and you will then always remain unshakeable and immovable.

¹⁴⁵slogan:- ek baap ke prabhaav mein rahne vaale kisi bhi aatma ke prabhaav mein aa nahin sakte।

¹⁸²Slogan: Those who stay under the influence of the one Father cannot be influenced by anyone else.
