¹Essence: Sweet children, the time of amrit vela is very good. ²Therefore, wake up early in the morning, sit in solitude and have a sweet conversation with Baba.

⁴Answer: The knowledge of the drama. ⁵Whatever happens is destined in the drama.

⁴jo kuchh beeta, drama ki bhaavi।

⁶Your stage should not fluctuate at all.

⁵zara bhi sthiti halchal mein na aaye। ⁶bhal kaisi bhi paristhiti ho, earthquake aa jaae, dhandhe mein ghaata pad jaae lekin zara bhi sanshay paida na ho - isko kehte hain mahaaveer।

⁷No matter what the situation is like, even if there is an earthquake or a loss in business, not the slightest doubt should arise in you about anything. ⁸This is known as being a mahavir (courageous soldier).

⁷agar drama ki yathaartha knowledge nahin to aansu bahaate rahenge।

¹¹bachche ab achhi reeti samajhte hain patit duniya ka ab ant ho raha hai।

¹³You children understand very well that it is now the end of the impure world.

¹²paavan duniya ki aadi ho rahi hai।

¹⁴It is now the beginning of the pure world.

¹³yeh sirf tum bachche hi jaante ho।

¹⁵Only you children know this.

¹⁴aur bachchon ko hi yeh direction va shreemat milti hai।

¹⁶It is only you children who receive these directions or shrimat.

¹⁵kaun dete hain?

¹⁷Who is giving you these?

¹⁶oonch te oonch bhagwan।

¹⁸God, the Highest on High.

¹⁷samjhaate rehte hain ki patit se paavan banna hai।

¹⁹He continues to explain to you that you have to become pure from impure.

¹⁸yeh knowledge tumhaare liye hai aur to sab patit hain।

²⁰This knowledge is for you. ²¹Everyone else is impure.

¹⁹yeh patit duniya vinaash zaroor honi hai।

²³Those who indulge in vice are called impure.

²¹baap samjhaate hain ki tum janma-janmaantar ek-do ko duhkh dete aaye ho, isliye tum aadi-madhya-ant duhkh paate ho।

²⁴The Father explains: You have been causing one another sorrow for birth after birth. ²⁵This is why you have experienced sorrow from its beginning through the middle to the end.

²²ek-do ko patit banaate ho।

²⁶You continue to make one another impure.

²³pukaarte bhi hain ki ham patit hain, parantu buddhi mein poora baithta nahin hai।

²⁷Although they call out that they are impure, this doesn’t fully sit in their intellects.

²⁴kehte bhi hain patit-paavan aao parantu phir bhi patitapna chhodte nahin hain।

²⁸They call out: “Purifier, come”, and yet they don’t stop becoming impure.

²⁵abhi tum samajhte ho saari baat hai paavan banne ki।

²⁹You now understand that it is all about becoming pure.

²⁶yeh samjhaane vaala bhi to koi chaahiye।

³⁰You need someone who can explain all of this.

²⁷samjhaane vaala hai hi ek।

³¹There is only the One who can explain this.

²⁸baaki yeh jo guru log hain, ye kisko paavan bana nahin sakte।

³²None of those gurus can purify anyone.

²⁹paavan bhi sirf ek janma ke liye nahin, janma-janmaantar ke liye banna hai।

³³You have to become pure, not just for one birth, but for birth after birth.

³⁰tumhaare mein bhi jo gyaanvaan hain ve teekhe hote hain।

³⁴Those of you who are knowledgeable go ahead fast.

⁴²The Father too says: Wake up early in the morning and remember the Father and you will enjoy yourself a great deal.

³⁹baap ki yaad mein baith yahi khyaal karna chaahiye ki kaise kisko samjhaayen?

⁴³While sitting in remembrance of the Father, you should think about how to explain to others.

⁴⁰amritvele ka vaayumandal bada shuddh rehta hai।

⁴⁴The atmosphere at amrit vela is very pure.

⁴¹din mein to gorakhdhandha rehta hai।

⁴⁵During the day you are engaged in your mundane business.

⁴²raat ko 12 baje tak to vikaari vaayumandal rehta hai।

⁴⁶Until midnight, there is an impure atmosphere.

⁴³saadhu-santa, bhakta aadi sab bhakti bhi prabhaat ko karte hain।

⁴⁷Sages, holy men and devotees all perform devotion in the early morning hours.

⁴⁴yoon to yaad din mein bhi kar sakte hain।

⁴⁸In fact, they can stay in remembrance throughout the day too.

⁴⁵dhandhe mein bhal rahe, buddhi ka yog, jis devta ka pujaari hoga unke paas hoga।

⁴⁹They remain engaged in their business, but their intellects would be connected in yoga to the deity whom they worship.

⁴⁶parantu aisa kiska rehta nahin hai।

⁵⁰However, no one is able to remain like that.

⁴⁷bhakti maarga mein sirf darshan ke liye mehnat karte hain। ⁴⁸milta kuchh bhi nahin।

⁵¹On the path of devotion, although they make effort just to have a vision, they don’t receive anything.

⁴⁹unko bhi bhakti karte-karte tamopradhaan banna hi hai।

⁵²While doing worship they have to become tamopradhan.

⁵⁰bhakti maarga mein bhi shiv par bali chadhaate hain, jisko kaashi kalvat kehte hain।

⁵³On the path of devotion too, they offer a sacrifice to Shiva.

⁵¹shiv ko yaad karte-karte kuen mein kood padte hain।

⁵⁴They call that sacrificing the self at Kashi; they dive into a well while remembering Shiva.

⁵²shiv ke oopar bali chadhaate hain।

⁵⁵That is the sacrifice to Shiva.

⁵³woh hai bhakti maarga ki bali।

⁵⁶That is the sacrifice of the path of devotion.

⁵⁴yeh hai gyaan maarga ki bali।

⁵⁷This is the sacrifice of the path of knowledge.

⁵⁵woh bhi mushkil, yeh bhi mushkil।

⁵⁸That is difficult and this too is difficult.

⁵⁶bhakti maarga mein isse kuchh phaayda nahin।

⁵⁹There is no benefit through that on the path of devotion.

⁵⁷yeh jaise aatma apne shareer ka ghaat karti hai।

⁶⁰That is like a soul committing suicide of his body.

⁵⁸yeh koi gyaan nahin hai।

⁶¹That is not knowledge.

⁵⁹woh bhi kah dete aatma so paramatma।

⁶²They also say that each soul is the Supreme Soul.

⁶⁰aatma-abhimaani to ek baap hi hai, jo bachchon ko samjhaate hain ki paramatma to main ek hi hoon।

⁶³Only the one Father is soul conscious and He explains to you children that He alone is the Supreme Soul.

⁶¹ham aatma so paramatma kehna - yeh bade se badi jhooth hai।

⁶⁴It is the greatest lie to say: I, the soul, am the Supreme Soul.

⁶²yeh to ho nahin sakta।

⁶⁵That’s impossible!

⁶³baap kehte hain - main aata hi hoon patiton ko paavan banaane, so paavan bana raha hoon।

⁶⁶The Father says: I only come to purify the impure, and so I am purifying you now.

⁶⁴baaki to drama mein jo hona hai so hoga hi।

⁶⁷Nevertheless, whatever is to happen in the drama will happen.

⁶⁵samjho earthquake hoti hai, chhat gir jaati hai, kahenge bhaavi, kalpa pahle bhi aise hua tha।

⁶⁸For instance, if an earthquake takes place or the roof falls in, that is called destiny.

⁶⁶ismen zara bhi hilne ki darkaar nahin।

⁶⁹It happened like that in the previous cycle too.

⁶⁷drama par pakka khada rehna hai।

⁷⁰There is no need to fluctuate even slightly over that.

⁶⁸isko hi mahaaveer kaha jaata hai।

⁷¹You have to remain very firm on the drama.

⁶⁹accident aadi to dher ke dher hote rehte hain।

⁷²This is known as being a courageous soldier.

⁷⁰phir kiski raksha karte hain kya?

⁷³So many people have accidents etc.

⁷¹yeh to drama mein noondh hai।

⁷⁴Are any of them protected? ⁷⁵It is fixed in the drama.

⁷²aisa hi drama mein part hai।

⁷⁶Such are their parts in the drama.

⁷³jo drama ko nahin jaante woh deh ko yaad kar aansu bahaate hain।

⁷⁷Those who don’t understand the drama remember bodies and continue to shed tears.

⁷⁴woh kabhi shivbaaba ko yaad nahin kar sakte kyonki shivbaaba se pyaar nahin hai।

⁷⁸They can never remember Shiv Baba because they don’t love Shiv Baba.

⁷⁵sachchi preet nahin hai।

⁷⁹They don’t have that true love.

⁷⁶baap ke saath to poori preet honi chaahiye।

⁸⁰There has to be total love for the Father.

⁷⁷shivbaaba ke saath preet buddhi tum kalpa-kalpa bante ho।

⁸¹Every cycle, you become those whose intellects have love for Shiv Baba.

⁷⁸devtaaon ki baap ke saath preet buddhi thi, aise nahin kahenge।

⁸²You wouldn’t say that the deities had intellects with love for the Father.

⁷⁹unhonne is preet se woh pad paaya hai।

⁸³They attained that status by having love at this time.

⁸¹abhi baap ne apna parichay diya hai।

⁸⁷The Father says: Now break away from everyone else and connect yourself to Me alone.

⁸⁸This is definitely the time of destruction.

⁸⁵manushya to bilkul hi ghor andhiyaare mein hain।

⁸⁹You children know this, whereas people are in extreme darkness.

⁸⁶tum abhi samajhte ho hamko to baap se poora varsa lena hai।

⁹⁰You now understand that you have to claim your full inheritance from the Father.

⁸⁷yaad bigar satopradhaan nahin ban sakenge।

⁹¹Without staying in remembrance, you cannot become satopradhan.

⁸⁸surgeon ban apne rog ko dekhna hai।

⁹²Become a surgeon and examine your own illness.

⁸⁹shreemat par dekhna hai ki hamaari baap ke saath kitni preet hai?

⁹³Follow shrimat and see how much you love the Father.

⁹⁰amritvele hi baap ko yaad karna achha hai।

⁹⁴It is good to remember the Father at amrit vela.

⁹¹prabhaat ka samay bahut achha hai।

⁹⁵The early morning hours are very good.

⁹²us samay maaya ke toofaan nahin aayenge।

⁹⁶There won’t be any storms of Maya at that time.

⁹³raat ko 12 baje tak tapasya karne ka koi phaayda nahin hai kyonki time hi ganda hota hai।

⁹⁷There is no benefit in doing tapasya till midnight because that time is very dirty.

⁹⁴vaayumandal kharaab rehta hai।

⁹⁸The atmosphere is very bad at that time.

⁹⁵to ek baje tak chhod dena chaahiye। ⁹⁶ek ke baad vaayumandal achha rehta hai।

⁹⁷baap kehte hain - apna to hai hi sahaj raajayog, bhal aaraam se baitho।

⁹⁸baba apna anubhav bhi sunaate hain।

¹⁰²Therefore, you may sit comfortably.

¹⁰⁴jaise baap ko khyaal aate hain vaise bachchon ko bhi aane chaahiye। ¹⁰⁵kaise manushyon ka beda paar karen athva kaise naeeya paar karen।

¹⁰⁷Just as the father has these thoughts, so you children should also have thoughts about how to take the boat of human beings across.

¹⁰⁶baap kehte hain - tum pukaarte rehte ho he patit-paavan aao।

¹²⁹Not all teachers are the same.

¹²⁷braahmaniyaan bhi sab ek samaan nahin hain।

¹³⁰There are elephant riders, cavalry and infantry.

¹²⁸mahaarthi, ghodesvaar, pyaade sab hain।

¹³¹You children should have a lot of happiness.

¹²⁹tum bachchon ko athaah khushi honi chaahiye - baba mila aur baaki kya।

¹³²You have found the Father; what else do you need?

¹³⁰haan, apne bachchon aadi ko zaroor sambhaalna hai।

¹³¹aise nahin ki baba yeh sab aapke hain, ab aap sambhaalo।

¹³⁴Don’t think that all of them belong to Baba and you can therefore say to Baba: Baba, You look after them!

¹³³baap samjhaate hain ki grihastha vyavhaar mein rehte kamal phool samaan pavitra bano।

¹³⁶The Father explains: While living at home with your families, become as pure as a lotus.

¹³⁴koi bhi patit kaam nahin karo।

¹³⁷Don’t perform impure actions.

¹³⁵bas pahli baat hai kaam ki।

¹³⁸The first thing is lust.

¹³⁶dropdi ne bhi is par pukaara ki hamko yeh nangan karte hain।

¹³⁷pukaara bhi tab tha jab baap sunne vaala aaya tha।

¹⁴⁰She called out when the Father who could hear her had come.

¹³⁸baap ke aane ke pahle koi bhi pukaarte nahin hain।

¹⁴¹No one calls out for protection (for purity) before He comes.

¹³⁹kisko pukaarenge?

¹⁴²To whom would they call out?

¹⁴⁰baba aaya hai tab hi pukaarte hain।

¹⁴³It is because Baba has come that they call out.

¹⁴¹patit se paavan bankar phir kahaan jaayenge?

¹⁴⁴Where would they go after becoming pure from impure?

¹⁴²vaapis jaana hai, woh to yahi samay hai।

¹⁴⁵They have to return home and this is the time to do that.

¹⁴³sabka sadgati daata, liberator ek hi hai।

¹⁴⁶The Bestower of Salvation for All and the Liberator is One.

¹⁴⁴yahaan to duhkh hai।

¹⁴⁷There is sorrow here.

¹⁴⁵saadhu-santa aadi koi bhi sukhi ho na saken।

¹⁴⁸None of the sages or holy men can be happy here.

¹⁴⁶sabko koi na koi duhkh, rog aadi hota hi hai।

¹⁴⁹Everyone has one or another type of sorrow or illness etc.

¹⁴⁷koi guru andha loola bhi hota hai।

¹⁵⁰There are even blind and crippled gurus.

¹⁴⁸zaroor koi aisa kaam kiya hai tab to andha loola aadi bante hain।

¹⁵¹They must definitely have performed such actions for them to become blind or crippled.

¹⁴⁹satayug mein koi andha loola aadi thode hi hoga।

¹⁵²There won’t be anyone blind or crippled in the golden age.

¹⁵⁰manushya thode hi samajhte hain।

¹⁵³People don’t understand this.

¹⁵¹baap hi aakar samjhaate hain।

¹⁵⁴Only the Father comes and explains this.

¹⁵²baap hi gyaan ka saagar patit-paavan hai।

¹⁵⁵Only the Father is the Ocean of Knowledge and the Purifier.

¹⁵³baaki to sab hai bhakti।

¹⁵⁶All the rest is devotion.

¹⁵⁴woh bhakti maarga hi alag hai।

¹⁵⁷The path of devotion is separate.

¹⁵⁵woh hai seedhi utarne ka maarga।

¹⁵⁸That is the path for coming down the ladder.

¹⁵⁶utarne mein, jeevanbandha mein aane mein 84 janma lagte hain aur phir ek second lagta hai jeevanmukta banne mein। ¹⁵⁷agar unki mat par chal baap ko yaad kare to।

¹⁵⁹It takes 84 births to come down into a life of bondage. ¹⁶⁰It then takes a second to go into a life of liberation, that is, only if you follow that One’s directions and remember the Father.

¹⁵⁸nambarvaar to hain na।

¹⁵⁹kehte hain hamko phalaani teacher mile to achha hai।

¹⁶⁷kai buddhu log samajhte nahin hain sirf kehte hain braahmani achhi chaahiye।

¹⁷²Some simpletons don’t understand anything and say that they want a good teacher.

¹⁶⁸gyaan to tumko mila hai na।

¹⁷³You too have received knowledge.

¹⁶⁹baap aur varse ko yaad karo।

¹⁷⁴Remember the Father and the inheritance!

¹⁷⁰deh-abhimaan ko chhodo।

¹⁷⁵Renounce body consciousness!

¹⁷¹yeh hamaara centre hai, yeh inka centre hai।

¹⁷⁶“This is my centre.” ¹⁷⁷“That is that one’s centre.”

¹⁷²yeh jigyaasu yahaan kyon jaate hain... yeh sab deh-abhimaan hai।

¹⁷⁸“Why does this student go there?” ¹⁷⁹All of these things are of body consciousness.

¹⁷³sab shivbaaba ke centres hain, hamaara thode hi centre hai।

¹⁸⁰All the centres belong to Shiv Baba; they are not yours.

¹⁷⁴tumko yeh kyon hota hai ki phalaana hamaare centre par kyon nahin aata।

¹⁸¹Why do you feel that So-and-so is not going to your centre?

¹⁷⁵kahaan bhi jaaye।

¹⁸²He can go anywhere.

¹⁷⁶baba hamesha kehte hain koi se bhi maangon nahin।

¹⁸³Baba always says: Don’t ask anyone for anything.

¹⁷⁷yeh samajh sakte hain ki beej nahin boyenge to milega kya?

¹⁸⁴You can understand what you will receive if you don’t sow seeds.

¹⁷⁸bhakti maarga mein bhi daan-punya kiya jaata hai।

¹⁸⁵On the path of devotion, too, they donate and perform charity.

¹⁷⁹tum sab bhakti maarga mein eeshvar arth indirect karte the।

¹⁸⁶On the path of devotion you do everything for God indirectly.

¹⁸⁰phir sannyaasiyon ko bhi bahut dete hain।

¹⁸⁷People give a lot to sannyasis.
