How to read the transliteration

This site uses transliteration based on ISO 15919, with a few adaptations to make reading easier: h is added after c, ś and ṣ, and i after the vowel r̥. These adaptations bring it closer to the Hunterian system used in India while retaining the distinctive marks of ISO 15919.

86No one else knows this. 87How long is the duration of the world?

85Kaisē inkī sthāpanā , pālnā , vināśh hōtā hai  ?

88How is it established, sustained and destroyed?

86Manuṣhyō̃ kō tō patā hōnā chāhiē .

101In Amritsar, they have that Immortal Throne.

98Baṛē-baṛē jō hōtē haĩ vahā̃ akāl takht par jākar baiṭhtē haĩ .

102Eminent people go there and sit on that Immortal Throne.

99Abhī bāp samjhātē haĩ yah sab akāl ātmāō̃ K|kē takht haĩ .

103The Father now explains to you: All of these bodies are thrones of immortal souls.

100Ātmā akāl hai jiskō kāl khā na sakē .

104Souls are immortal and cannot be eaten by death.

101Bākī takht tō badaltē rahtē haĩ .

105However, the thrones keep changing.

102Akālmūrt ātmā is takht par baiṭhtī hai .

106This immortal image, this soul, sits on this throne.

103Pahlē chhōṭā takht hōtā hai phir baṛā hō jātā hai .

107At first, the throne is small and then it grows.

104Ātmā ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā lētī hai .

108Each soul sheds a body and takes another.

105Ātmā akāl hai . 106Bākī unmē̃ achchhē vā burē saṅskār hōtē haĩ tab tō kahā jātā hai nā - karmō̃ kā yah phal hai .

109Souls are immortal, but have good and bad sanskars, and that is why it is said: That is the fruit of their karma.

107Ātmā kabhī vināśh nahī̃ hōtī hai .

110Souls are never destroyed.

108Ātmā kā bāp hai ēk .

111There is only the one Father of souls.

109Yah tō samajhnā chāhiē nā .

112You have to understand this.

110Yah bābā kōī śhāstrō̃ key|kī bāt sunātē haĩ kyā  !

113Does this Baba relate things from the scriptures to you?

111Śhāstra ādi paṛhnē sē vāpis tō kōī jā nahī̃ saktē .

114No one can return home by studying the scriptures, etc.

112Pichhāṛī mē̃ sab jāyēṅgē . 113Jaisē ṭiḍḍiyō̃ kā athavā madhumakkhī kā jhuṇḍ jātā hai nā .

115Everyone will go back home at the end, just like a swarm of locusts or honey bees.

114Madhumakkhiyō̃ key|kī bhī queen hōtī hai . 115Unkē pichhāṛī sab jātē haĩ .

116There is also a queen of honey bees; they all follow her.

116Bāp bhī jāyēṅgē tō unkē pichhāṛī sab ātmāyē̃ jāyēṅgī .

117When the Father goes back, all souls go behind Him.

117Vahā̃ mūlvatan mē̃ jaisē sab ātmāō̃ kā manārā ( chattā ) hai . 118Yahā̃ phir hai manuṣhyō̃ kā jhuṇḍ .

118In the supreme abode, it is as though all souls are there in a beehive formation, whereas here there is a crowd of human beings.

119Tō yah jhuṇḍ bhī ēk din bhāgnā hai .

119This crowd will also have to run home one day.

120Bāp ākar sab ātmāō̃ kō lē jātē haĩ .

120The Father comes and takes all souls home.

121Śhiv key|kī barāt kahā jātā hai .

121“The Procession of Shiva” is remembered.

122Bachchē kahō athavā sajniyā̃ kahō .

122You can be called children or brides.

123Bāp ākar bachchō̃ kō paṛhākar yād kī yātrā sikhlātē haĩ .

123The Father comes, educates you children and teaches you the pilgrimage of remembrance.

124Pavitra bannē bigar tō ātmā jā nahī̃ saktī .

124A soul cannot return without becoming pure.

125Jab pavitra ban jāyēgī tab pahlē-pahlē śhāntidhām jāyēgī .

125When you become pure, you will first go to the land of peace.

126Vahā̃ jākar sab nivās kartē haĩ .

126All of you go and reside there.

127Vahā̃ sē phir dhīrē-dhīrē ātē rahtē haĩ , vr̥iddhi hōtī rahtī hai .

127Then, as you gradually come down here from there, the number of you grows.

128Tum hī pahlē-pahlē bhāgē̃gē bāp K|kē pichhāṛī .

128You will run after the Father first.

129Tumhārā bāp kē sāth athavā sajaniyō̃ kā sājan kē sāth yōg hai .

129You have yoga with the Father or you brides have yoga with the Bridegroom.

130Rājdhānī bannī hai nā .

130A kingdom has to be created.

131Sab ikaṭṭhē nahī̃ ātē haĩ .

131You don’t all come down together.

132Vahā̃ sab ātmāō̃ key|kī duniyā hai .

132There, it is the world of all the souls.

133Vahā̃ sē phir number-vār ātē haĩ . 134Jhāṛ dhīrē-dhīrē vr̥iddhi kō pātā hai .

133You continue to come down, numberwise; the tree grows slowly.

135Pahlē-pahlē tō hai ādi sanātan dēvī-dēvtā dharm , jō bāp sthāpan kartē haĩ .

134First, there is the original, eternal deity religion that the Father establishes.

136Pahlē-pahlē hamkō brāhmaṇ banātē haĩ .

135He first makes us into Brahmins.

137Prajāpitā brahmā hai nā .

136This one is Prajapita Brahma.

138Prajā mē̃ bhāī-bahin hō jātē haĩ .

137As his people, you become brothers and sisters.

139Brahmākumār aur kumāriyā̃ ḍhēr haĩ .

138There are many Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.

140Jarūr niśhchaybuddhi hōṅgē tab tō itnē ḍhēr huē haĩ .

139Your intellects definitely have faith, for this is why there are so many of you.

141Brāhmaṇ kitnē hōṅgē  ?

140How many Brahmins are there?

142Kachchē vā pakkē  ?

141Strong and weak?

143Kōī tō 99 marks lētē haĩ , kōī 10 marks lētē haĩ tō gōyā kachchē ṭhaharē nā .

142Some receive 99% marks and others only receive 10% marks. 143So, that means they are weak.

144Tumhārē mē̃ bhī jō pakkē haĩ vah jarūr pahlē āyēṅgē . 145Kachchē vālē pichhāṛī mē̃ āyēṅgē .

144Among you too, those who are strong will definitely come at the beginning, whereas those who are weak will come towards the end.

146Yah pārṭdhāriyō̃ key|kī duniyā hai jō phirtī rahtī hai . 147Satyug , trētā … yah puruṣhōttam saṅgamyug hai .

145This is a world of actors and it continues to turn: the golden age, the silver age. 146This is now the most elevated confluence age.

148Yah abhī bāp nē batāyā hai .

147The Father has now explained this to us.

149Pahlē tō ham ulṭā hī samajhtē āyē ki kalp key|kī āyu lākhō̃ varṣh hai .

148Previously, we understood wrongly that the duration of each cycle is hundreds of thousands of years.

150Abhī bāp nē batāyā hai yah tō pūrā 5 hazār varṣh kā chakra hai .

149The Father has now explained to us that each full cycle is 5000 years.

151Ādhākalp hai rām kā rājya , ādhākalp hai rāvaṇ kā rājya .

150For half a cycle, it is the kingdom of Rama and for half a cycle, it is the kingdom of Ravan.

152Lākhō̃ varṣh kā kalp hōtā tō ādhā-ādhā bhī hō na sakē .

151If the cycle were hundreds of thousands of years, it could not be half and half.

153Duḥkh aur sukh key|kī yah duniyā banī huī hai .

152Happiness and sorrow are destined in the world.

154Yah bēhad key|kī knowledge bēhad K|kē bāp sē miltī hai .

153We receive this unlimited knowledge from the unlimited Father.

155Śhivbābā K|kē śharīr kā kōī nām nahī̃ hai .

154Shiv Baba doesn’t have a bodily name.

156Yah śharīr tō is dādā kā hai .

155This body belongs to this Dada.

157Bābā kahā̃ hai  ?

156Where is Baba?

158Bābā nē thōṛē samay kē liē loan liyā hai .

157Baba has taken this body on loan for a short time.

159Bābā kahtē haĩ hamkō mukh tō chāhiē nā .

158Baba says: I need a mouth.

160Yahā̃ bhī gaūmukh banāyā huā hai .

159Here, too, (in Abu) a Gaumukh (the mouth of a cow) has been created.

161Pahāṛī sē pānī tō jahā̃-tahā̃ ātā hai .

160Water flows everywhere from the mountains.

162Yahā̃ phir gaū kā mukh banā diyā hai , ussē pānī ātā hai , unkō gaṅgājal samajh lētē haĩ .

161They found a cow’s mouth here from which water flows. 162They consider that to be the water of the Ganges.

163Ab gaṅgā phir kahā̃ sē I|āī|eye  ?

163How can the Ganges come here?

164Yah hai sab jhūṭh .

164All of those things are false.

165Jhūṭhī kāyā , jhūṭhī māyā , jhūṭhā sab saṅsār .

165It is said: The body is false, Maya is false and the world is false.

166Bhārat jab svarg thā tō sachkhaṇḍ kahā jātā hai phir bhārat hī purānā bantā tō jhūṭhkhaṇḍ kahā jātā hai .

166When Bharat is heaven, it is called a land of truth, and then, when Bharat becomes old, it is called a land of falsehood.

167Is jhūṭhkhaṇḍ mē̃ jab sabhī patit ban jātē haĩ tab bulātē haĩ - bābā hamkō pāvan banāē is purānī duniyā sē lē chalō .

167When everyone in this land of falsehood becomes impure, they call out: “Baba, purify us and take us away from this old world!”

168Bāp kahtē haĩ mērē sab bachchē kām chitā par chaṛh kālē ban gayē haĩ .

168The Father says: All My children have become ugly by sitting on the pyre of lust.

169Bāp bachchō̃ kō baiṭh kahtē haĩ tum tō svarg K|kē mālik thē nā  !

169The Father sits here and tells you children: You were the masters of heaven, were you not?

170Smr̥iti āī hai nā .

170Do you remember that?

171Bachchō̃ kō samjhātē haĩ , sārī duniyā kō nahī̃ samjhātē .

171He explains to you children. 172He doesn't explain to the whole world.

172Tumkō hī samjhātē haĩ tō mālūm paṛē ki hamārā bāp kaun hai  !

173He only explains to you, so that you know who your Father is.

173Is duniyā kō kahā jātā hai forest of|off thôrnas .

174This world is called a forest of thorns.

174 ( kāṇṭō̃ kā jaṅgal ) sabsē baṛā kām kā kāṇṭā lagātē haĩ .

175The biggest thorn that pricks you is lust.

175Bhal yahā̃ bhagat bhī bahut haĩ , vegetarian haĩ , parantu aisē nahī̃ ki vikār mē̃ nahī̃ jātē haĩ .

176Although there are many devotees here who are vegetarians, it isn't that they don't indulge in vice.

176Aisē tō bahut bāl brahmchārī bhī rahtē haĩ . 177Chhōṭēpan sē hī kab chhī-chhī khānā ādi nahī̃ khātē haĩ .

177There are many who are celibate from birth; they have not eaten impure food from childhood.

178Sannyāsī bhī kahtē haĩ - nirvikārī banō .

178Even sannyasis say: “Become viceless!”

179Vah had kā sannyās manuṣhya karātē haĩ .

179They inspire people to have limited renunciation.

180Dūsrē janm mē̃ phir gr̥ihasthī pās|pass janma lē phir gharbār chhōṛ chalē jātē haĩ .

180They take their next birth to householders and then leave their homes and families and go away.

181Satyug mē̃ yah śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa ādi dēvtāyē̃ kabhī gharbār chhōṛtē haĩ kyā  ?

181Do the deities, like Shri Krishna, etc., leave their homes and families?

182Nahī̃ .

182No.

183Tō unhō̃ kā hai had kā sannyās . 184Abhī tumhārā hai bēhad kā sannyās .

183Their renunciation is limited, whereas your renunciation is unlimited.

185Sārī duniyā kā , sambandhiyō̃ ādi kā buddhi sē sannyās kartē hō .

184You renounce the whole world, including all your relatives, etc.

186Tumhārē liē ab svarg key|kī sthāpanā hō rahī hai .

185Heaven is now being established for you.

187Tumhārī buddhi svarg taraph hī jāyēgī .

186Your intellects only go towards heaven.

188Tō śhivbābā kō hī yād karnā hai .

187Therefore you have to remember Shiv Baba.

189Bēhad kā bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō .

188The unlimited Father says: “Remember Me!

190Manmanābhav , madhyājī bhav , tō tum dēvtā ban jāyēṅgē .

189Manmanabhav! 190Madhyajibhav!” and you will thereby become deities.

191Yah vahī gītā kā episode hai . 192Saṅgamyug bhī hai .

191This is the same episode of the Gita.

193Maĩ saṅgam par hī sunātā hū̃ .

192It is also the confluence age.

194Rājyōg jarūr āgē janm mē̃ saṅgam par sīkhē hōṅgē .

193Only at the confluence age do I come and speak this knowledge to you.

195Yah sr̥iṣhṭi badaltī hai nā , tum patit sē pāvan ban jātē hō .

194I definitely taught you Raja Yoga at the confluence age in the previous cycle.

196Ab yah hai puruṣhōttam saṅgamyug , jabki ham aisē tamōpradhān sē satōpradhān bantē haĩ .

195This world changes and you become pure from impure. 196This is now the most elevated confluence age, when we become satopradhan from tamopradhan.

197Har ēk bāt achchhī rīti samajhkar niśhchay karnī chāhiē .

197Understand everything very clearly and have firm faith.

198Yah kōī manuṣhya thōṛēhī kahtē haĩ .

198It is not a human being who is saying this.

199Yah hai śhrīmat arthāt śhrēṣhṭh tē śhrēṣhṭh mat , bhagvān key|kī .

199This is shrimat, the most elevated directions of God.

200Bākī sab haĩ manuṣhya mat .

200All the rest are the dictates of human beings.

201Manuṣhya mat sē girtē ātē hō .

201By following human dictates, you have been falling.

202Ab śhrīmat sē tum chaṛhtē hō .

202Now, by following shrimat, you ascend.

203Bāp manuṣhya sē dēvtā banā dētē haĩ .

203The Father changes you from humans into deities.

204Daivī mat svargvāsī kī hai aur vah hai narkvāsī manuṣhya mat , jiskō rāvaṇ mat kahā jātā hai .

204The dictates of deities are the dictates of the residents of heaven, whereas other dictates are the dictates of the residents of hell.

205Rāvaṇ rājya bhī kōī cum|kam nahī̃ hai .

205Those are called the dictates of Ravan. 206The kingdom of Ravan is no less.

206Sārī duniyā par rāvaṇ kā rājya hai .

207It is now the kingdom of Ravan over the whole world.

207Yah bēhad key|kī laṅkā hai jis par rāvaṇ kā rājya hai phir dēvtāō̃ kā pavitra rājya hōgā .

208This is an unlimited island (Lanka) over which there is the kingdom of Ravan. 209It will then become a pure kingdom of deities.

208Vahā̃ bahut sukh hōtā hai .

210There, there is a lot of happiness.

209Svarg key|kī kitnī mahimā hai .

211There is so much praise of heaven.

210Kahtē bhī haĩ svarg padhārā .

212They even say: “So-and-so went to heaven.”

211Tō jarūr nark mē̃ thā nā .

213Therefore, he must surely have been in hell.

212Hell sē gayā tō jarūr phir hell mē̃ hī āyēgā nā  !

214If he went from hell, he would surely return to hell.

213Svarg abhī hai kahā̃  ?

215Heaven doesn't exist at the moment.

214Yah bātē̃ kōī śhāstrō̃ mē̃ nahī̃ haĩ .

216These things are not mentioned in any of the scriptures.

215Abhī bāp tumhē̃ sārī knowledge dētē haĩ . 216Battery bhartī hai .

217The Father is now giving you all of this knowledge and charging your batteries.

217Māyā phir link tōṛ dētī hai .

218Maya then breaks the link.

218Achchhā  !

219Achcha.

219Mīṭhē-mīṭhē sikīladhē bachchō̃ prati māt-pitā bāpdādā kā yād-pyār aur good morning .

220To you sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

220Rūhānī bāp kī rūhānī bachchō̃ kō namastē .

221The spiritual Father says namaste to you spiritual children.
