Sakar murli for Saturday 18 January 1969

Sentence alignment between two languages is corrected.

Hindi is also shown in Latin characters, using an adapted form of ISO 15919 transliteration.

How to read the transliteration

This site uses transliteration based on ISO 15919, with a few adaptations to make reading easier: h is added after c, ś and ṣ, and i after the vowel r̥. These adaptations bring it closer to the Hunterian system used in India while retaining the distinctive marks of ISO 15919.

  • ṭ, ḍ, ṇ: the dot below distinguishes retroflex consonants from t, d, n.
  • A tilde above a vowel indicates nasalisation.

18In fact, both should say to one another, because both are sweet. 19However, some children cannot understand the unlimited Father.

20The Father has come to teach you children.

43Isliē kabhī bhī kōīpar bigaḍanē key|kī ijājat kōīsē bhī bigaḍanē key|kī bāt nahī hai .

21He continues to teach you. 22You should understand in your heart that those who continue to follow shrimat will definitely become elevated.

44Bigaḍanā mānā krōdh karnā .

23There is no question of ever becoming upset about this.

45Krōdh tō kisī par karnā nahī hai kōī bhī hālat mē̃ .

24There is no need to get upset with anyone.

46Kyōṅkī bābā nē vāṇī kal-parasō hī calāyī hai . 47Tō law apnē hāth mē̃ nahī lēnā hai .

25To get upset means to get angry.

48Kōī krōdh bhī kartē hō kōī bhūl bhī kartē hō tō bābā kō ripārṭa kar saktē . 49Khud nahī kahnā kisīkō bhī .

26So, under no circumstances should anyone get angry.

50Kyōṅkī law apnē hāth mē̃ lēnā huā .

27Baba spoke a murli saying that you mustn’t take the law into your own hands.

51Jaisē gavharnamēṇṭ bhī jō hōtī hai nā bachchē kabhī bhī kōī nē ṭhusā mārā tō uskō ṭhusā nahī mārtē , kahē̃gē law apnē hāth mē̃ nahī lō|low , report karō unkē upar case karē̃gē .

28Even if someone is getting angry or making a mistake, report it to Baba, but don’t you yourself say anything to that person. 29If you say something, that is like taking the law into your own hands. 30The Government also says: If someone punches you, don’t retaliate, but report it.

52Tō yahā̃ bhī aisē hai bachchō kō sāmnē kabhī bhī kuchh kahnā nahī chāhiē .

31Do not punch that person back. 32They will bring a case against that person.

53Bābā kō bhalē hī kahē sāvadhānī dēnē vālā bhī bābā hai nā bachchē .

33So here, too, it is like that.

54Bābā bhī yuktī sē lēṅgā bahut miṭhāpaṇē sē bābā kahē̃gē dēh abhimānī banē̃gē tō apanāhī pad cum|kam kar dēgē .

34Children, you must never answer back. 35You may tell Baba because it is Baba who will caution you children.

55Isliē tum ghāṭā kyō ḍāltē hō jitnā hō sakē phāydā ḍāltē rahō .

36Baba will then give you a yukti very sweetly. 37If you become body conscious, you will reduce your status.

56Bāp kō yād kartē rahō baḍē pyār sē .

38So why do you cause yourself a loss?

57Bēhad pyār sē bābā aisē nahī kahtē bēhad pyār sē yād karō , nā  !

39Bring as much benefit as possible. 40Continue to remember the Father with a lot of love.

58Kahtē hai bēhad bāp kō bēhad pyār sē .

41Baba doesn’t tell you to remember him with unlimited love.

59Kyō  ?

42No.

60Vah tumhē viśhva kī bādśhāhī dētē hai .

43He says: Remember the unlimited Father with unlimited love.

61Sirph daivī guṇ dhāraṇ karnē sē daivī guṇ kā arth|earth yah hai kisī key|kī nindā nahī karnā . 62Dēvtā nindā kartē hai kyā kisī key|kī  ?

44Why? 45Because He gives you the sovereignty of the world.

63Kabhī bhī kisī key|kī nindā nahī̃ karnī chāhiē  ? 64Bābā sab jāntē hai mahāmāyā hai nā achchhī nāmīgrāmī bhī hai nā vah bhī nindā karnē bigar rahtē nahī . 65Tum kyō nindā kartē hō bābā kō report karō tō bābā unkō sāvadhānī dēgē . 66Kyōṅkī time west|waste hōtā hai nā bachchō̃ kā , kiskī nindā karnā uskē bajāy bāp kō yād karnā , phāydā bhī hōgā baccōṅkō .

46Imbibe divine virtues. 47Divine virtues means not to defame anyone, because deities never defame anyone. 48So you too can never defame anyone because time would be wasted.

67Bāp kahtē nā kisī kō yād karnā , nā kisīsē bāt karnā baḍā achchhā hai . 68Tum cum|kam nahī hō bachchē , tum dil mē̃ samajhtē hō , naī duniyā key|kī bādśhāhī sthāpan kar rahā who|hū mai . 69Tō kitnā phakra chāhiē  !

49Instead of defaming someone, it is better to remember the Father. 50Children, you would also benefit through that.

70Kisīsē kōī laṛāī , jhagaṛā|jhagṛā , mārāmārī tō nahī hai .

51It is better not to speak because you are no less.

71Yād kā pyār … vdārā chakra kō tō yād hī kar lētē hō .

52You understand in your heart that you are establishing the soveriegnty of the new world and so you should have so much intoxication. 53There is no fighting, quarrelling or violence there.

72Sab bachchē hōṅgē unkō chakra sahaj hī yād paṛtā hōṅgā , 84 kā chakra tō bilkul hī sahaj hai .

54You should pay a lot of attention to remembrance. 55You remember the cycle anyway.

73Bāp bhī kahtē bachchō̃ kō tumkō caturbhūj bannā hai .

56All you children should be able to remember the cycle easily.

74Dēvtāē nahī bantē hai . 75Tum brāhmaṇ bantē hō .

57The cycle of 84 births is very easy.

76Tum jāntē hō sr̥iṣhṭi K|kē ādi - madhy-anta K|kē duration kā mālum hai .

58The Father says: Children, you have to become the four-armed image.

77Vah tō gapōḍā mārtē hai duration kā lākhō varṣh kyōkī tum jāntē hō achchhī tarah sē aur phir kyā karnā hai bachchō̃ kō , bachchō̃ kō bahut pyār sē aurō̃ kō parichay dēnā hai . 78Unkō bōlnā hai bachchē bēhad kā bāp abhī viśhva kā mālik banā rahē hai . 79Vah rājyōg sikhlā rahē hai aur sāmnē vināśh bhī khaṛā hai .

59You Brahmins become what the deities don’t become. 60You understand that you know the beginning, middle, end and duration of the cycle. 61You know very clearly what else you have to do.

80Jab rājyōg sikhlātā thā tab hī mahābhārī mahābhārat laṛāī lagī thī .

62Children, you have to give others the introduction with a lot of love because the unlimited Father is making you into the masters of the world and teaching you Raja Yoga.

81Rājyōg sikhlā rahā hai bachchō kō hai bhī saṅgamyug .

63Destruction is also just ahead of you.

82Saṅgamyug par laḍāī jarūr lagnē kī hai . 83Naī duniyā sthāpan hōtī hai purānī duniyā khatm hōtī hai .

64After you were taught Raja Yoga, the great Mahabharat war took place. 65That same Raja Yoga is now being taught to you, and that is also at the confluence age.

84Dō chār bātē hai sirph par māyā bhūlā dētī hai .

66The war will definitely take place at the confluence age because the new world is being established.

85Bāp kahtē hai puruṣhārth kartē kartē kartē simar simar simar sukh pāō .

67The old world is to end.

86Bāp kahtē kalah klēśh miṭē sab tan K|kē .

68These two to four things now have to be remembered, but Maya makes you forget them.

87Bābā kahtē sab duḥkh kalah klēśh miṭē̃gē tan K|kē ādhā kalp .

69However, the Father says: Whilst making effort, experience happiness remembering Me. 70The Father says: Let all the sorrow and suffering of the body end.

88Gāyā bhī jātā hai duḥkhdhām aur sukhdhām .

71Baba, the sorrow and suffering of how long will end?

89Yē bhī gāyan hai bāp sukhdhām sthāpan kartē hai rāvaṇ duḥkhdhām sthāpan kartē hai .

72For half the cycle.

90Yē bhī tum bachchē jāntē hō duniyā mē̃ kōī ēk bhī nahī jāntē hai .

73It is remembered that this is the land of sorrow and that is the land of happiness. 74The Father establishes the land of happiness and Ravan establishes the land of sorrow.

91Abhī sukhdhām sthāpan hō rahā hai .

75Only you children know this.

92Sabhī tum bachchē number-vār puruṣhārth anusār nahī tō ghaḍī ghaṛī bhūl jātē hai , ghaḍī ghaṛī bhūl jātē hai .

76Not a single other person in the world knows this.

93Jitnā bāp kā love hōtā hai bāp kā tō śuruvāt sē lav|love hai nā bachchē .

77The land of happiness is now being established.

94Mālūm hai mai jāntā hū̃ apnē bachchō kō jō kām chitā par caḍh kālē ban gayē hai . 95Mai ātā hū̃ gōrā banānē kē liē .

78You know this amongst yourselves, numberwise, according to the effort you make.

96Tumkō mālum hai nā knowledgeful hai , bachchē āhistē āhistē knowledge lētē rahtē hai . 97Māyā bhūlātī rahtī hai .

79However much love the Father has, He has had that from the beginning. 80I know that I am going to My children who have become ugly by sitting on the pyre of lust, and so I am going to make them beautiful.

98Vah khuśhī ādi ṭhaharnē nahī dētī hai .

81You know that the Father is knowledge-full.

99Bachchō̃ kō tō khuśhī mē̃ rahnā chāhiē din pratidin . 100Khuśhī kā pārā caḍhanā chāhiē bābā nē samjhā diyā hai .

82Children, you continue to receive knowledge gradually and Maya makes you forget it. 83She doesn’t allow that happiness to remain.

101Satyug mē̃ tumhārā pārā caḍhā huā thā abhī kaliyugī mē̃ tamōpradhān sē girtā rahā abhi khuśhī kā pārā caḍhēṅgā bābā key|kī yād kī yātrā sē .

84Therefore, children, you should have happiness. 85Day by day, the mercury of your happiness should rise.

102Jitnā jō yād karēṅgā khuśhī kā pārā caḍhatā jāyēṅgā .

86Baba has explained to you: In the golden age, the mercury was high.

103Phauran nahī caḍhēṅgā kisīkā bhī . 104Nā  !

87The mercury of happiness is now rising with the pilgrimage of remembrance.

105Bachchē āhistē āhistē dhīrē dhīrē hārā jītā , hār jīt , hār jīt kartē kartē nambaravār puruṣhārth anusār kalp pahilē māphik sab kōī apnā pad lē lē̃gē .

88The more you stay in remembrance, the more the mercury of happiness will rise.

106Bākī time vahī lagtā hai jō kalp kalp lagtā hai , pās|pass vahī hōṅgē jō kalp huē hōṅgē .

89It will not rise instantly. 90Children, gradually, experiencing victory and defeat, victory and defeat, you will claim exactly the same status as you did in the previous cycle, numberwise, according to the effort you make.

107Avasthā dēkhtē rahtē bāpdādā sākṣhī hōkarkē .

91However, it takes time, the same as it does every cycle.

108Samjhānī dētē rahtē hai .

92Only those who passed in the previous cycle will pass.

109Jō bāhar mē̃ rahtē hai vah itnā refresh nahī rahtē .

93BapDada, the detached Observer continues to see your stage.

110Centre sē gayā bāhar mē̃ soda vôṭar sab khatm kar dēgē utnā refresh nahī hō saktē . 111Jō yahā̃ ātē hai refresh hōnē kuchh samay .

94He continues to explain to you. 95Those who live outside are not refreshed as much.

112Sārā samay bāp kahē bābā jaisē dēkhtē hai nā parivār jaisē phalānē parivār sahit sabkō yād pyār dē rahē hai .

96As soon as you go out from the centre, everything is finished.

113Iñjiniar kō likhē̃gē parivār sahit sarvakō yād pyār dē rahē hai , doctor kō likhē̃gē parivār sahit sarvakō yād pyār dē rahē hai .

97They cannot be refreshed as much, and this is why children continue to come here to be refreshed. 98Baba writes to So-and-so: Give Such-and-such a family My love and remembrance.

114Parivār tō bāpakā sahārā hai dēkhō .

99For instance, He would write a letter to this child: Give everyone in the family My love and remembrance.

115Vah had K|kē hai bāp K|kē bēhad K|kē hai .

100

116Bāp aur dādā kā bahut lav|love hai kyōṅkī kalp kalp lovely service kartē hai .

101He would write to the doctor: Give everyone in the family My love and remembrance. 102So the whole family belongs to the Father.

117Bahut pyār sē yād kartē hai .

103They are limited and the Father is unlimited.

118Bābā kō taras paṛtā hai kisīkī chalan achchhī nahī hōtī hai tō taras paṛtā hai bichārā cum|kam pad pāēṅgā .

104Bap and Dada have a lot of love for you children.

119Śhrīmat par nahī chaltē tō bichārā cum|kam pad pāyēṅgā aur bābā kyā kar saktā hai  ?

105They do lovely service every cycle. 106They remember you with a lot of love.

120Mātāē bhī ātī hai kahtī hai jā rahī hai bābā kē pās , sārā din yahā̃ rahtī hō rāt yahā̃ rahtī hō jab vahā̃ centre par jātī hai tō dinrāt thōṛī rahtī hai  ?

107If someone doesn’t study or his activity isn’t good, there is mercy for that one: That poor child will not claim a high status. 108He is not following shrimat, so the poor thing will claim a low status.

121Kyōṅkī saṅg mil jātā hai anēk prakār kā .

109What else can Baba do?

122Bāhar andar jānā-yahā̃ vahā̃ jānā vahā̃ yahā̃ rahnē mē̃ pharak paṛtā rahtā hai .

110Mothers also come: They too know that they are coming to Baba who lives here day and night. 111When they go to the centres, He is not there day and night.

123Sab bhī nahī rah saktē .

112They receive some company.

124Sab rahē tō patā nahī kyā banānā paḍē  ?

113You have to go out and come in, go here and there. 114So, there is a difference between living here and living there.

125Bāp jāntē hai sthitī kō pātē rahtē hai parmat bhī kartē rahtē hai .

115However, not everyone can stay here.

126Bāp nē samjhāyā mīṭhē mīṭhē bachchō baḍā bhārī tīrtha hai yah ābū bahut bhārī tīrtha hai , bāp khud kahtē hai yahā ākar K|kē is śharīr vdārā sārī sr̥iṣhṭi manuṣhya tō kyā par yē pañch tatva bhī in sabkō pavitra banātā hū̃ , dēkhō kitnī sēvā hōtī hai .

116If everyone were to stay here, you don’t know what arrangements would have to be made. 117The number of children continues to grow. 118The Father knows that the number of children will continue to grow and so He continues to make arrangements.

127Bachchē jāntē hai barōbar ēk hī bāp hai jō ākar K|kē sarv key|kī sadgatī kartē hai .

119The Father has also explained: Sweetest children, this is a very important pilgrimage.

128Ēk hī daphā kartē kayā  ? 129Number of|off ṭāīmas | samajhnā cāhiēnā bachchō̃ kō milnē ātē bahut bār phir bhī bhūl jātē hai .

120Abu is a very important pilgrimage place. 121The Father Himself says: I come here and make, not just this body, but the whole world, not just human beings, but even the five elements pure. 122You know that there truly is only the one Father who comes and grants everyone salvation. 123Time immemorial.

130Māyā baḍī jabardast hai . 131Ādhākalp unkā rāj hai ādhākalp hamārā rāj hai .

124Children, you also know this and then forget it.

132Unmē̃ bhī tākat hai nī .

125Immemorial means eternal.

133Unhō̃ key|kī tākat bāp samjhātē hai half anḍa half .

126The Father continues to explain every point but nevertheless, children forget it.

134Harātē hai bābā phir khaḍā kartē hai , bachchā kahtā hai gir gayā achchhā bachchē phir nahī girnā , pandharā din , dō mahinā phir kahtē bābā gir gayā jhaṭ likh dētē hai 5 baras , 3 baras , 0 baras phir kabhī girtē hai jarur girtē hai tō phir upar nahī caḍhatē hai .

127This is why the Father says: Maya is very powerful because she has had her kingdom for half the cycle. 128She too has that power.

135Dēkhō kitnī chōṭ lagtī hai . 136Asal mē̃ chōṭ lagtī . 137Samjhō yahā̃ baiṭhē hai ghar mē̃ bābā kē pās rōj rōj suntē hai tō kōī sabsē jāstī paṛh jātē hai  ? 138Nā . 139Sārā paṛhāī K|kē upar . 140Bhalē yahā̃ rahtē hai aisē bhī hai jō jarā bhī nahī paṛhtē . 141Aisē bhī hai jō bahut paḍhatē hai .

142Paḍhāī chāhiē yōg aur paṛhāī , yōg aur paṛhāī , paḍhāī tō yōg tō hai hī hai usmē̃ jab kisī kē sāth bēṭhēṅgē tō unkē sāth budhdi kā yōg jarūr jāēṅgā .

129The Father explains: Half and half. 130You are defeated then Baba picks you up and then you are defeated again. 131Baba often receives such letters saying that children have fallen.

143Phalānā mujhē paḍhāḍh rahē hai .

132

144Ab tum jāntē hō ātmāō̃ kō bāp paṛhā rahē hai .

133Yoga and the study.

145Achchhā bachchō kō refresh kiyā thā nī . 146Phir unkō khyāl uṭhtā hai bābā key|kī tabīyat kaisī hai  ?

134There is yoga in the study anyway. 135Whatever I teach definitely needs the yoga of the intellect.

147Nahī bābā key|kī tabiyat tō ṭhik rahtī hai , kabhī kabhī bahut achchhā , kuchh nā kuchh refresh jarūr kartē rahtē hai .

136So-and-so is teaching me. 137You children know that the Father is now teaching you. 138Achcha. 139Children had not been refreshed and this is why they have had some thoughts, wondering what Baba’s health is like.

148Bākī yahā̃ jitnā refresh hō .

140Isn’t that right?

149Hā̃ vaisē bachchē bahut achchhē hai . 150Jaisē yah bachchā mohan hai bahut achchhā .

141My health is fine. 142Sometimes, there is a little something.

151Bachchā hai isnē bābā kā kabhī disregard nindā nahī karē̃gē .

143He definitely refreshes you a little.

152Sabmē̃ apnē apnē guṇ bhī hōtē hai nā .

144However, you children continue to be refreshed here.

153Kahā jātā hai nā nindā hamārī jō karē mitr hamārā sō hōy , bhagvānuvāch hai nā mērī glānī bahut kartē hai mē̃ ākar mitr bantā hū̃ .

145Yes, children are very good, like this child Mohan. 146He is a very good child. 147This child’s nature is such that he never defames anyone.

154Gāyā bhī jātā hai nā nindā hamārī jō karē bāp baiṭh samjhātē hai kaisē nindā kartē thē mērī .

148Each one has his own virtue. 149It is said: consider the one who defames you to be your friend.

155Bāp kahtē yah tō mērē bachchē hai , mērī prit hai inkē sāth .

150The Father also says: I am defamed a lot too. 151I come and make you My friends.

156Nindā kiskī na karnā achchhī hōtī hai .

152So, it is remembered: Those who defame Me…

157Change kā tō hai hī yah samay .

153The Father sits here and explains: Look how much they defame Me.

158Is samay sab khabardārī rahnī chāhiē .

154All are My children.

159Achchhā mīṭhē mīṭhē ruhānī bachchō pratī ruhānī bāp aur dādā kā dil aur jān , sik aur prēm sē yād aur pyār aur goodnight .

155I have so much love for them. 156So, it is better not to defame anyone.

160Mīṭhē mīṭhē rūhānī bachchō pratī ruhānī bāp key|kī namastē .

157This is the time of the final period.

161Dēkhō kitnī namratā , pyār aur nirahaṅkār hai bābā kā .

158There has to be caution about everything.

162Achchhā bābā chhuṭṭī lētē hai .

159Achcha. 160
