Warning : Sentence alignment between two languages is based on the number of characters. It is therefore not perfectly reliable.

You can correct the sentence alignment yourself on part or all of the murli.

Hindi is also shown in Latin characters, using an adapted form of ISO 15919 transliteration.

How to read the transliteration

This site uses transliteration based on ISO 15919, with a few adaptations to make reading easier: h is added after c, ś and ṣ, and i after the vowel r̥. These adaptations bring it closer to the Hunterian system used in India while retaining the distinctive marks of ISO 15919.

2" brahmā bāp kī|key ēk śhubh āśhā "

1The Pure Desire of Father Brahma

3Vijayī ratna brāhmaṇ kul-bhūṣaṇ bachchō̃ kē prati bāpdādā bōlē - 4' ' āj bāpdādā vijayī ratnō̃ kō dēkh rahē haĩ . 5Āj bhakta lōg vijay-daśamī manā rahē haĩ .

2Today, BapDada is seeing His victorious jewels. 3Today, the devotees are celebrating Vijya Dashmi (Dashera – burning of Ravan on the 10th night after the festival of invoking the goddesses).

6Bhaktō̃ kā hai jalānā aur tum bachchō̃ kā hai milan manānā .

4Whilst the devotees are burning that (the effigy of Ravan), you children are celebrating a meeting.

7Jalānē kē bād milan manānā hōtā hai .

5It is after you have burnt everything, that you celebrate this meeting.

8Bhakti mārg mē̃ bhī rāvaṇ kō jalānē kē bād arthāt vijay prāpt karnē kē bād kaun sā milan dikhātē haĩ  ?

6On the path of bhakti, what meeting do they celebrate after burning Ravan and gaining victory? 7You know the things of the path of bhakti very well.

9Bhakti kē|K bātō̃ kō tō achchhī tarah sē jāntē hō .

8What stage do you have after you have killed Ravan? 9What is an indication of that?

10Rāvaṇ samāpt hōnē kē bād kaun see|sī|C stage hō jātī hai  ?

10The meeting with Bharat (Brother of Rama who was to receive the kingdom).

11Uskī niśhānī kyā hai  ?

11This is the stage of brotherhood.

12‘ ‘ bharat milāp ' ' .

12Service and love indicates your vision of brotherhood.

13Yah hai brotherhood kī|key sthiti .

13Deepmala is the indication of love.

14Bhāī kī dr̥iṣhṭi kī|key niśhānī hai - sēvā aur snēh .

14The vision of brotherhood is the basis of success in service.

15Snēh ki niśhānī dīpmālā dikhāī hai .

15You cannot celebrate Deepmala without this.

16Sēvā kī|key saphaltā kā ādhār brotherhood dikhāyā hai .

16You cannot attain the tilak of sovereignty without the vision of brotherhood, Deepmala.

17Iskē binā dīpmālā nahī̃ manā saktē .

17So did you celebrate the Vijaya Dashmi, the memorial of today?

18Dīpmālā kē|K sivāē rāj-tilak nahī̃ kar saktē .

18The basis of this celebration is the celebration of the eighth night.

19Tō āj kā yādgār vijay daśamī manāī hai .

19You cannot attain victory without the celebration of the eighth night.

20Iskā ādhār pahlē aṣhṭamī manātē haĩ .

20So where have you reached?

21Binā aṣhṭamī kē|K vijay nahī̃ .

21Have you celebrated the eighth night?

22Tō kahā̃ tak pahũchē hō  ?

22Have all of you become “Nav Durga”?

23Aṣhṭamī manāī hai  ? 24Sabhī nau durgā ban gayē haĩ  ?

23This means eight powers and the ninth One is the Almighty.

25Aṣhṭ śhakti aur ēk śhaktivān .

24Have you become “Nav Durga”?

26Sarv śhaktivān bāp kē sāth aṣhṭ śhakti svarūp , aisē nau durgā banē haĩ  ?

25Are you one who is an embodiment of all eight powers and do you have the company of the Almighty Authority Father as your ninth power?

27Durgā arthāt durguṇ samāpt kar sarvguṇ sampann . 28Tab hī daśhaharā manā saktē hō . 29Tō bāpdādā dēkhnē āyē haĩ ki bachchō̃ nē daśhaharā manāyā hai  ?

26It is only when you become Durga, that is, only when you destroy all your defects and become complete with all virtues that you are able to celebrate Dashera.

30Har ēk apnē āpkō achchhī tarah sē jāntē hō aur māntē bhī hō ki daśhaharā manāyā hai yā aṣhṭamī manāī hai  !

27So BapDada has come to see whether you children have celebrated Dashera. 28Or have you celebrated Ashthmi (eighth night)?

31Avināśhī tīlī lagāī hai yā alp samay kī|key tīlī lagāī hai  ?

29Did you ignite the imperishable matchstick or did you only ignite that temporary matchstick?

32Rāvaṇ kō jalāyā hai yā rāvaṇ kē|K sarv vanśh kō jalāyā hai  ?

30Did you only burn Ravan or did you also burn all of his offspring?

33Rāvaṇ kō samāpt kiyā hai vā rāvaṇrājya kō samāpt kiyā hai  ?

31Did you only kill Ravan or did you completely destroy Ravan’s whole kingdom as well?

34Āj vatan mē̃ brahmā bāp kī|key rūh-rihān chal rahī thī - kis samay  ?

32Today Brahma Baba and Shiv Baba had a conversation in the subtle region. 33At what time?

35 ( class kē|K samay ) bāpdādā bhī bachchō̃ kī|key rūh-rihān suntē haĩ .

34(At the time of class.) 35BapDada also listens to you children’s hearttoheart conversations.

36Sabhī majority bachchō̃ kō jab yah praśhna pūchhā jātā hai ki daśhaharā manāyā hai , tō na ‘ nā ' mē̃ hāth uṭhātē na ‘ hā̃ ' mē̃ hāth uṭhātē haĩ .

36When you children were asked whether you have celebrated Dashera or not, the majority of you neither raised your hand to say “Yes” nor did you raise your hand to say “No”.

37Agar likhtē bhī haĩ tō javāb dēnē mē̃ bhī baṛē chatur haĩ .

37Even when you write to Baba, you are very clever in giving a reply.

38Jhūṭh bhī nahī̃ bōltē , lēkin spaṣhṭ bhī nahī̃ likhtē .

38You don’t tell a lie, but the reply you give isn’t clear.

39Tīn-chār javāb sabkō ātē̃ haĩ aur unhī̃ javāb mē̃ kōī na kōī javāb dētē haĩ .

39All of you know the standard three or four replies. 40The reply you gave Baba was one of those.

40Tō brahmā bāp kī|key rūh-rihān chal rahī̃ thī .

41So Brahma Baba and Baba had a hearttoheart conversation.

41Brahmā bāp tō ghar kē|K gate|get kā udghāṭan karnē kē liē bachchō̃ kō āhvān kar rahē haĩ .

42Father Brahma is invoking you children in order to open the gates to our home.

42Lēkin sabkē āj kē|K praśhna kē|K uttar kāgaj par nahī̃ , man kē|K saṅkalp dvārā tō bāp kē āgē spaṣhṭ hī haĩ .

43Even though the reply all of you children gave to today’s questions was not on paper, it was clearly revealed to Baba in your minds.

43Class kē|K samay bachchī ( dādī ) praśhna pūchh rahī̃ thī aur bāpdādā sabkē uttar dēkh rahē thē .

44Today, during class, this child (Dadiji) asked everyone this question and BapDada observed everyone’s reply.

44Uttar kā sār tō sunā hī diyā .

45Baba has already told you the essence of the reply you gave.

45Sunānē kī|key bhī āvaśhyaktā nahī̃ hai , āp jyādā jāntē hō .

46There is no need to tell you that once more because you now know it.

46Uttar dēkhtē huē brahmā bāp nē kyā kiyā  ?

47What did Brahma Baba do as soon as he saw your reply?

47Baṛī achchhī bāt kī|key .

48The thing He did was very good.

48Brahmā bāp kē|K viśhēṣhtā sampann saṅskār kō jāntē hō  ?

49You know Brahma Baba’s special sanskar.

49Viśhēṣhtā kē|K saṅskār kā hī part bajāyā , ab vah kyā hōgā  ?

50He always played his part with this special sanskar.

50Us bāt kā sambandh brahmā bāp kē|K ādikāl kī|key pravēśhtā kē|K jīvan sē sambandhit hai .

51What did he do? 52This speciality started at the time when Shiv Baba entered him.

51Jab result dēkhī tō ēk second kē liē brahmā bāp baṛē sōch mē̃ paṛ gayē aur bōlē - āj ēk bāt jamārī pūrṇ karnī paṛēgī , kaun see|sī|C  ?

53When he saw your reply, he went into deep thought for a moment and then said: Today, You have to fulfil a desire I have. 54What is that? 55He said: “Give me the key today.”

52Brahmā bāp nē bōlā , ‘ ‘ āj hamē̃ chābī dē dō . 53' ' kaun-sī  ?

56Which key? 57The key to transform everyone’s intellect and make them complete.

54Sabkē buddhiyō̃ kō parivarttan karnē kī|key , sampann banānē kī|key . 55Jaisē ādi mē̃ bhī chābī kā naśhā thā , khazānā hai , chābī hai bas khōlnā hai .

58In the beginning, he had the intoxication of having found the key to all treasures and that it was simply a matter of using the key to open that treasurestore.

56Aisē brahmā bāp nē bhī āj sampann banānē kī|key chābī kī|key bāp sē mā̃gnī kī|key .

59Therefore, today, Brahma Baba asked Shiv Baba for the key to make everyone complete.

57Us samay kē|K dr̥iśhya kō sākār mē̃ anubhav karnē vālē jān saktē haĩ ki brahmā aur bāp kī|key kaisī rūh-rūhān chaltī thī .

60Those who experienced seeing Brahma Baba in the physical form can imagine the scene when this conversation took place.

58Ab brahmā kō chābī dē saktē haĩ  ?

61Is Shiv Baba allowed to give Brahma the key?

59Aur brahmā kō bāp nā kar saktē haĩ  ?

62Can the Father refuse Brahma?

60Bachchē bhī na tō ‘ nā ' kartē haĩ na ‘ hā̃ ' kartē haĩ .

63You children are still not saying “Yes” or “No”.

61Lēkin itnā avaśhya hai ki brahmā bāp kō bachchō̃ kō sadā sampann dēkhnē kī|key bahut-bahut ichchhā hai .

64However, it is certain that Brahma Baba definitely does have the deep desire to see all of you children complete.

62Bannē haĩ , yah nahī̃ ab ban jāē̃ .

65Not that you will become that in the future, but that you should be complete now.

63Jab bhī bachchō̃ kī|key bātē̃ chaltī haĩ tō brahmā kī|key sūrat dīpmālā kē|K samān ban jātī , aisā tīvr umaṅg aur master sāgar kē|K samān ūñchī lahar paidā hōtī jō usī umaṅg kī|key ūñchī lahar mē̃ sabkō sampann banāē dīpmālā jagā dē̃ .

66Whenever the two speak about you children, Brahma Baba’s face becomes like a Deepmala (a rosary of lights). 67There are such great waves of enthusiasm in the master ocean to make you all complete and ignite the Deepmala. 68You would have experienced how Brahma Baba didn’t like to hear certain words from the start of his physical life. 69Which words were they?

64Brahmā kō ēk bōl janm sē hī nahī̃ achchhā lagtā vah kaun sā  ?

70He didn’t like to use those words in his work, nor to hear them in the work of the children.

65Apnē kārya mē̃ bhī vah achchhā nahī̃ lagtā , vah kaun sā  ?

71Baba didn’t like the words “I will do it at some time.”

66Apnē kārya mē̃ bhī vah achchhā nahī̃ lagā , na bachchō̃ kē|K .

72In every situation, he would do everything instantly and inspire everyone to do the same.

67‘ ‘ kab kar lē̃gē ' ' - yah śhabda achchhā nahī̃ lagā . 68Her|har bāt mē̃ ab kiyā aur karāyā .

73Look, in plans for service and in transformation of oneself, He always said “Go right now!

69Sēvā kē|K plan mē̃ dēkhō , sva kē|K parivarttan mē̃ dēkhō , abhī-abhī jāō , abhī-abhī karō , train kā time thōṛā hai tō bhī jāō , train lēṭ|late hō jāyēgī .

74Do this right now! 75Even if there is only a short time left for you to catch the train, you must still go, because the train is going to be late departing from here.

70Tō kyā saṅskār rahā  ?

76So what were Baba’s sanskars?

71Abhī-abhī , kab nahī̃ lēkin ab .

77“Right now!” 78Not at some time, but “now”!

72Tō jaisē viśhēṣh bhāṣhā ‘ ‘ abhī-abhī ' ' kī|key sunī aisē hī āj bhī vatan mē̃ , abhī-abhī hōnā chāhiē , yahī bhāṣhā chal rahī thī .

79You heard the special words of “right now”. 80Similarly, in the subtle region today they used the same words.

73Ēk aur hansī kī bāt sunātē haĩ , vah kyā hōgī  ?

81They said that children must become this right now!

74Brahmā bāp svayã sampann hōnē kē|K kāraṇ yah dēkh nahī̃ saktē ki bachchē ‘ ‘ kab-kab ' ' kyō̃ kartē haĩ  ? 75Isliē bār-bār bāp kō kahtē - yah kyō̃ nahī̃ badaltē , yah aisē kyō̃ kartē haĩ  ?

82Baba will tell you another very amusing thing. 83What would that be? 84Because Brahma Baba himself is complete and perfect, he can’t understand why you children say that you will become this at some time.

76Ab tak yah kyō̃ kahtē haĩ  ?

85He is very amazed.

77Āśhcharya lagtā hai . 78Drama kī|key bāt alag rahī , yah ramaṇīk hansī kī bāt hai .

86The question of the drama is a different matter, but this is something entertaining and amusing.

79Aisē nahī̃ drama kō nahī̃ jāntē haĩ lēkin dēkh-dēkh kar snēh kē|K kāraṇ bāp sē hanstē haĩ .

87It isn’t that he is not aware of the drama, but it is because of his love for you that whilst he watches the drama, he jokes with the Father.

80Bāp sē hansī karnā tō chhuṭṭī hai nā  !

88He is allowed to joke with the Father, is he not?

81Bāp bhī muskurātē haĩ .

89Shiv Baba also smiled.

82Tō ab brahmā bāp kyā chāhtē haĩ , yah tō jān liyā nā  ?

90So you know what Father Brahma now wants.

83Ab mukt ban , muktidhām kē|K gate|get kō khōlnē kē liē bāp kē|K sāthī banō - yah hai brahmā bāp kī|key bachchō̃ kē prati śhubh āśhā .

91You must now free yourself and become Baba’s companion in order to open the gates to the land of liberation. 92This is Brahma Baba’s pure desire for his children.

84Pahlē yah dīvālī manāō , bāp kē|K śhubh āśhā kā dīpak jagāō .

93Now celebrate Diwali by first igniting the lamp of Baba’s pure desire for you.

85Isī ēk dīpak sē dīpmālā svataḥ hī jag jāyēgī .

94From this one lamp, the whole Deepmala (rosary of lamps) will be ignited.

86Samjhā  ? 87Achchhā -

95Do you understand?

88Phir bharat milāp kā rahasya sunāyēṅgē .

96Achcha, Baba will tell you the meaning of: “The meeting with Bharat” at some other time.

89Achchhā - aisē bāpdādā kē|K śhrēṣhṭh saṅkalp kō sākār mē̃ lānē vālē , avināśhī dr̥iṛh saṅkalp kī|key tīlī lagāē avināśhī vijayī bannē vālē , sākār bāp kē|K samān sadā ‘ ‘ ab ' ' kī|key bhāṣhā karma mē̃ lānē vālē , kabhī kō samāpt kar sabhī kō sākār bāp kī|key mūrtta , sūrat mē̃ dikhānē vālē , aisē vijayī ratnō̃ kō bāpdādā kā yādpyār aur namastē .

97Achcha. 98To those who put BapDada’s elevated wishes or hopes into practice; to those who ignite the lamp with the imperishable matchstick of determination and become victorious for all time; to those who use the language of “now” in their actions like sakar Baba did; to those who stop thinking about doing it “some time” but reveal sakar Baba’s image in their face; to such victorious jewels, BapDada’s love, remembrance and namaste.

90Kumāriyō̃ sē  : ‘ ‘ kumāriyā̃ tō haĩ hī uṛtā pañchhī . 91Kyōṅki kumāriyā̃ arthāt sadā halkī .

99Meeting the kumaris: 100Kumaris are flying birds because to be a kumari means to be someone who is always light.

92Kumārī arthāt kōī bōjh nahī̃ .

101To be a kumari means to have no burden at all.

93Halkī chīz ūpar jāyēgī nā  !

102Anything that is light floats upwards.

94Sadā ūpar jānē vālē mānā ūñchī stage par jānē vālī .

103To go constantly high means to have a constantly elevated stage.

95Tō aisī hō  ?

104Are you like this?

96Kahā̃ tak pahũchī hō  ?

105How high have you reached?

97Jō bāp kī|key śhrīmat hai usī pramāṇ , usī lakīr kē|K andar sadā rahnē vālē sadā ūpar uṛtē rahtē haĩ .

106Those who constantly stay within the line drawn by Baba’s shrimat constantly remain flying up above.

98Tō lakīr kē|K andar rahnē vālī kaun huī  ?

107So who are those who stay within the line that has been drawn for them?

99Sachchī sītā .

108They are true Sitas.

100Tō sabhī sachchī sītāē̃ hō nā  ?

109Are all of you true Sitas?

101Pakkā  ?

110Are you sure?

102Lakīr kēbāhar pāṅw nikālā tō rāvaṇ ā jāyēgā .

111When you step outside that line, Ravan will take you.

103Rāvaṇ intjār mē̃ rahtā hai-ki kahā̃ kōī pāṅw nikālē aur maĩ bhagāū̃  !

112Ravan is always waiting for any of you to step outside of that line so that he can immediately take you away.

104Tō kumārī arthāt sachchī sītā .

113Therefore, a kumari means to be someone who is a true Sita.

105Yahā̃ sē bāhar jākar badal na jānā .

114Do not change yourself as soon as you leave from here.

106Kyōṅki madhuban mē̃ vāyumaṇḍal kē|K vardān kā prabhāv rahtā , yahā̃ extra lift hōtī hai , vahā̃ mēhnat sē chalnā paṛēgā .

115Whilst you are in Madhuban you are influenced by the blessing of the atmosphere of Madhuban. 116Whilst you are here, you receive an extra lift, whereas outside, you have to make effort to make progress.

107Kumāriyō̃ kō dēkhkar bāpdādā kō hajār guṇā khuśhī hōtī hai kyōṅki kasāīyō̃ sē bach gaī . 108Tō khuśhī hōgī nā  !

117BapDada is a thousandfold more pleased to see the kumaris. 118Because you have been saved from slaughter, He would feel happy, would He not?

109Acchā-abhī pakkā vādā karkē jānā .

119Achcha, now make a firm promise before you leave here.

110' ' 111Pāṇḍavō̃ sē  : ‘ ‘ sabhī pāṇḍav śhakti svarūp hō nā  ?

120Speaking to the Pandavas: 121Are all of you Pandavas an embodiment of shakti?

112Śhakti aur pāṇḍav kambāīnḍa hō  ?

122Are the Shaktis and Pandavas combined?

113Sarvśhaktivān kē āgē śhakti ban jātē aur part bajānē mē pāṇḍav .

123When you come in front of the Almighty Authority you are the Shaktis and when you are playing your role you are Pandavas.

114Sarvśhaktivān kō śhakti ban kar yād nahī̃ karē̃gē tō majā nahī̃ āyēgā .

124If, whilst in remembrance of the Almighty Authority, you don’t remember that you yourself are a Shakti, you won’t enjoy it.

115Ātmā sītā hai aur vah rām hai .

125Each soul is Sita and the Supreme Soul is Rama.

116Tō is part mē̃ bhī bahut majā hai .

126So, you should have great pleasure in playing this role.

117Yahī part sabsē wonderful hai saṅgam kā , jō pāṇḍav śhaktiyā̃ ban jātī aur śhaktiyā̃ bhāī ban jātī .

127The most wonderful part of the confluence age is when Pandavas become Shaktis and Shaktis become brothers.

118Issē siddha hōtā hai ki dēhbhān bhūl gayē .

128When you do this, it proves that you have forgotten all consciousness of the body.

119Ātmā mē̃ dōnō̃ hī saṅskār haĩ , kabhī mail|male|mēl kā kabhī phimēl kā part tō bajāyā hai nā  !

129There are sanskars of both male and female in each soul. 130You have sometimes played a male role and at other times a female role.

120Saṅgam par majā hai , āśhik ban māśhuk kō yād karnā .

131At the confluence age, you are given the pleasure of being a lover who remembers your Beloved.

121Śhakti bankar sarvśhaktivān kō yād karnā .

132You remember the Almighty Authority whilst considering yourself to be a Shakti.

122Sītā bankar rām kō yād karnā .

133Each of you is Sita and you remember Rama.

123' '

134Speaking to the mothers:

124Mātāō sē  : ‘ ‘ śhakti sēnā sadā śhastradhārī hai nā  ?

135Do you Shaktis of the Shakti Army always keep your weapons with you?

125Śhakti kā śhraṅgār hī hai śhastra .

136The ornaments shown with the Shaktis are their weapons.

126Jō sadā śhastradhārī hai vahī sadā mahādānī , vardānī haĩ .

137Those who always keep their weapons with them are great donors and bestowers of blessings.

127Sab śhastra kāyam rahtē haĩ  ?

138Do you always keep all of your weapons with you?

128Kabhī-kabhī nahī̃ , sadā .

139Not just sometimes, but always?

129Śhaktiyō̃ kī|key tapasyā nē sarvśhaktivān kō lāyā .

140It was the tapasya of the Shaktis that brought the Almighty Authority here.

130Abhī śhaktiyō̃ kō sarvśhaktivān kō pratyakṣha karnā hai .

141You Shaktis now have to reveal the Almighty Authority. 142Continue to give blessings at every step.

131Her|har kadam mē vardān dētē jāō , śhubh bhāvnā sē sabkō vardān dēnā hai .

143You have to bless everyone with your good wishes. 144You children of the Ocean of Happiness are embodiments of happiness, are you not?

132Sukh kē|K sāgar kē|K bachchē sadā sukh-svarūp hō nā  ?

145You constantly celebrate this meeting and thereby constantly swing in the swing of happiness, do you not?

133Sadā milan mēlē kī|key khuśhī mē̃ jhulatē rahtē hō nā  !

146Whilst eating, drinking, walking and moving around, you remain completely free from sorrow, do you not? 147You don’t have the slightest trace of sorrow even in your thoughts. 148Each of you is a constant embodiment of happiness. 149Because you have been in the world of sorrow for half a cycle and it is now the time to experience happiness you have discarded all sorrow.

134Khātē , pītē , chaltē aśhōk arthāt saṅkalp mātra mē̃ bhī śhōk va duḥkh kī|key lahar na āyē .

150Since you have found the Ocean of Happiness, why should you have any sorrow? 151You have been given the blessing of remaining constantly happy for all time. 152Achcha.

135Sadā sukh-svarūp .

153Blessing: May you souls make the fortress of the gathering very strong by remaining loving and contented. 154The power of the gathering is a special power. 155No one can shake a united fortress. 156However, the basis of this is to remain loving with one another, to give regard to one another, to remain content with yourself and to make others content.

136Duḥkh kō talāk dēnē vālē .

157No one should become disturbed and no one should disturb anyone else.

137Kyōṅki duḥkh kī|key duniyā mē ādhā kalp rahē , ab tō sukh kī|key bārī hai .

158When you all continue to co operate with good wishes and pure feelings, the fortress of your gathering will remain very strong.

138Sukh kā sāgar milā tō duḥkh kāhē kā  ?

159The power of your gathering is the special basis of your victory.

139Sadā sukhī - yahī vardān bāp sē sadā kē liē mil gayā .

160Slogan: Experience the Father’s company in practice so that instead of attacking you, Maya will retreat.

140Achchhā ' '
