Warning : Sentence alignment between two languages is based on the number of characters. It is therefore not perfectly reliable.

You can correct the sentence alignment yourself on part or all of the murli.

Hindi is also shown in Latin characters, using an adapted form of ISO 15919 transliteration.

How to read the transliteration

This site uses transliteration based on ISO 15919, with a few adaptations to make reading easier: h is added after c, ś and ṣ, and i after the vowel r̥. These adaptations bring it closer to the Hunterian system used in India while retaining the distinctive marks of ISO 15919.

2“ hōlī|holy manānē aur jalānē kī|key alauvvkik rīttti ”

1The spiritual way of celebrating Holi and burning Holi.

3Hōlī|holy kē|K uplakṣhya mē̃ avyakt bāpdādā kē|K uchchārē huē mahāvākya -

2Today, the highest Father has come to meet His holy swans.

4‘ ‘ āj hāisṭa bāp apnē hōlīhãsō̃ sē milnē āyē haĩ . 5Harēk holy hans kī|key buddhi mē̃ sadā gyān kē|K mōtī māṇik ratan bharē huē haĩ .

3The intellect of each of the holy swans is constantly filled with pearls, gems and jewels of knowledge.

6Aisē holy hans bāpdādā kō bhī sārē kalp mē̃ ēk hī bār miltē haĩ .

4Even BapDada finds such holy swans only once in the whole cycle.

7Aisē viśhēṣh holy hans sē bāpdādā sārā hī saṅgamyug hōlī|holy manātē rahtē haĩ .

5All through the confluence age, BapDada celebrates Holi with such special holy swans.

8Sansārī lōg varṣh mē̃ ēk dō din hōlī|holy manātē lēkin manānē kē sāth ganvātē bhī haĩ aur āp hōlī|holy hans , manātē bhī hō tō kamātē bhī hō , ganvātē nahī̃ hō .

6Worldly people celebrate Holi for one or two days in the year and, as well as celebrating, they also lose a lot, whereas you holy swans celebrate and also earn; you do not lose anything.

9Bāpdādā sē sabhī bachchē dūr baiṭhē bhī hōlī|holy manā rahē haĩ .

7All the children are celebrating Holi with BapDada even while sitting far away.

10Bāpdādā kē pās dēśh-vidēśh kē|K bachchō̃ kā śhrēṣhṭh snēh kā saṅkalp pahũch rahā hai .

8The elevated thoughts of love of all the children in this land and abroad are reaching BapDada.

11Sabhī bachchō̃ kē|K nayanō̃ aur mastak kī|key picakārī dvārā prēm kī|key dhārā , ati snēh kī|key sugandhit picakārī ā rahī hai .

9The sprinkle of water emerging from the eyes and foreheads of all the children is of love (prem) and of fragrant, deep love (sneh).

12Bāpdādā bhī return mē̃ sarv bachchō̃ kō nayanō̃ kī|key picakārī dvārā aṣhṭ śhakti arthāt aṣhṭ raṅgō̃ kī|key picakārī sē khēl rahē haĩ .

10In return, BapDada is playing with the sprinkle of water of the eight powers, that is, the eight colours that emerge from the eyes of all the children.

13Bāpdādā dēkh rahē haĩ jaisē sthūl raṅgō̃ dvārā lāl raṅg sē lāl banā dētē haĩ .

11BapDada sees how, with a physical colour, you make everyone the same colour as that colour; with a red colour you make everyone red.

14Bhinnbhinn raṅgō̃ sē bhinn-bhinn rūp banā dētē haĩ aisē her|har śhakti kē|K rūhānī raṅg sē her|har śhakti svarūp ban jātē haĩ , her|har guṇ svarūp hō jātē haĩ .

12With different colours, you create different forms. 13In the same way, with the spiritual colour of every power, you become embodiments of every power, you become the form of every virtue.

15Dr̥iṣhṭi kē|K dvārā rūp parivartan hō jātā hai .

14With drishti, the form is transformed.

16Aisī rūhānī hōlī|holy manānē kē liē āyē hō nā  ?

15You have come here to celebrate such a spiritual Holi, have you not?

17Bāpdādā puṣhpō̃ kī|key varṣhā kar hōlī|holy manānē kē bajāē harēk bachchē kō sadā kē liē rūhāb dvārā rūhānī gulāb banā dētē haĩ .

16Instead of celebrating Holi by showering everyone with flowers, BapDada makes each of you children into a spiritual rose with spiritual intoxication for all time.

18Svayã hī puṣhp ban jātē haĩ .

17You yourselves become the flowers.

19Aisī hōlī|holy sivāē bāp aur bachchō̃ kē|K kōī manā nahī̃ saktē haĩ .

18Apart from the Father and the children, no one else can celebrate such a Holi.

20Janm lētē hī bāp nē hōlī|holy manāē hōlī|holy banā diyā .

19As soon as you took birth, the Father celebrated Holi and made you holy.

21Tō vah hai manānē vālē aur āp hō sadā ‘ hōlī|holy ' bannē vālē .

20Those people celebrate it, whereas you become constantly holy.

22Sadā her|har guṇ kā raṅg , her|har śhakti kā raṅg , snēh kā raṅg lagā huā hī hai .

21You are constantly coloured with the colour of every virtue, every power and with the colour of love.

23Aisē hōlī|holy hans hō nā  !

22You are such holy swans, are you not?

24Tilak lagānē kī|key bhī jarūrat nahī̃ . 25Hō hī sadā tilakdhārī .

23There is no need even to apply a tilak; you are always wearing a tilak.

26Avināśhī tilak lagā huā hī hai nā .

24The imperishable tilak is always applied, is it not?

27Jō miṭātē bhī miṭ nahī̃ saktā .

25You cannot erase it, even if you try to.

28Alpkāl kē bajāē sadākāl manātē rahtē aur aurō̃ kō bhī banātē rahtē .

26Instead of celebrating for a short time, you celebrate it for all time and you also make others the same.

29Vē|way lōg tō maṅgal milan kē liē galē miltē haĩ lēkin āp hōlī|holy hans bāpdādā kē|K galē kā hār hī ban gayē hō .

27Those people embrace one another when celebrating an auspicious meeting, whereas you holy swans have become the garland around BapDada’s neck.

30Sadā galē kā hār ban chamaktē huē ratna viśhva kē āgē rōśhnī phailā rahē hō .

28Having become the garland of sparkling jewels around the neck, you constantly spread light into the world.

31Ēk-ēk ratna aisē chamaktē huē light svarūp hō jō hajārō̃ bulb bhī vah rōśhnī nahī̃ dē saktē .

29Each of you jewels is the form of a sparkling light giving more light than even a thousand bulbs could give.

32Aisē chamaktē huē ratna - apnē light might svarūp kō jāntē hō nā  !

30You sparkling jewels, you know your form of light and might, do you not?

33Sārē viśhva kō andhkār sē rōśhnī mē̃ lē jānē vālē āp chamaktē huē ratna hō .

31You are the sparkling jewels who bring the whole world from darkness into light.

34Bāpdādā aisē hōlī|holy hansō̃ sē viśhēṣh din kē|K pramāṇ rūhānī hōlī|holy manā rahē haĩ .

32BapDada is celebrating Holi in keeping with this special day with such holy swans.

35Hōlī|holy jalāī bhī aur manāī bhī .

33You lit the fire of Holi and you also celebrated it.

36Jalānā aur manānā dōnō̃ hī ātā hai nā  ?

34You know how to light the Holi (burn) and also to celebrate, do you not?

37Jalānē kē bād hī manānā hōtā hai .

35It is only after you have lit the Holi that you celebrate it.

38Saṅkalp kī|key tīlī sē , jō bhī kuchh sva prati vā sēvā prati vyarth saṅkalp arthāt kamzōrī kē|K saṅkalp saṅskār haĩ , sabkō ikaṭṭhē karkē tīlī lagā dō , isī kō hī sūkhī lakaṛiyā̃ kahtē haĩ .

36With the matchstick of thoughts, whatever waste thoughts you have - that is, thoughts or sanskars of weakness for yourself or for service - put them all together and put a matchstick to them. 37Those are called kindling (dry sticks of wood).

39Tō sabkō ikaṭṭhē karkē dr̥iṛh saṅkalp kī|key tīlī lagā dō .

38Gather them all together and put the matchstick of determined thoughts to them.

40Tō jalānā bhī hō jāyēgā .

39So, you have also burnt them.

41Jalānā hī manānā aur bannā hai .

40To burn is to celebrate and to become.

42Tīlī lagānē ātī hai nā  ? 43Tō jalāō aur manāō .

41You know how to put a matchstick to something, do you not?

44Arthāt sva kō sadā ‘ hōlī|holy ' banāō .

42So, burn and celebrate, that is, make yourself constantly holy.

45Aisē tō nahī̃ tīlī lagātē tō tīlī lagtī hī nahī̃ .

43Let it not be that, when you put a matchstick to it, it does not light.

46Tīlī bhī mācis kē|K sambandh binā jaltī nahī̃ .

44A matchstick cannot be lit without coming into connection with the matchbox.

47Tō bāp kē sāth samparka sambandh hōgā , abhyās kī|key tīlī par masālā ṭhīk hōgā tab second mē̃ saṅkalp kiyā aur banā .

45So, when you have a connection and relationship with the Father, when there is enough phosphate of practice on the matchstick, then, as soon as you have the thought, you become that in a second.

48Tō sab sādhan ṭhīk chāhiē .

46So, all the materials have to be right.

49Sambandh bhī chāhiē . 50Abhyās bhī chāhiē .

47There also has to be the relationship and the practice.

51Sambandh hai aur abhyās kam|cum hai tō mēhnat kē bād saphaltā milēgī .

48If there is a relationship, but not enough practice, you will receive success only after making effort.

52Second mē̃ saṅkalp kā svarūp nahī̃ ban sakē̃gē .

49You will not be able to become an embodiment of the thought in a second.

53Bār-bār saṅkalp kartē-kartē mēhnat kē bād saphaltā hōgī .

50After repeatedly having the thought, you will achieve success after making effort.

54Āp sabhī kē|K mēhnat arthāt bhakti kā samay samāpt hō gayā nā  ! 55Bhakti kā arth|earth hī hai mēhnat  !

51The time of effort, that is, the time of devotion has finished for all of you, has it not?

56Bhakti kā samay samāpt huā arthāt mēhnat samāpt huī .

52The meaning of devotion is effort (hard work).

57Ab bhakti kā phal lēnē kā samay hai .

53“The time of devotion is over” means that effort is over.

58Bhakti kā phal hai ‘ gyān ' arthāt muhabbat na ki mēhnat .

54It is now the time to receive the fruit of devotion.

5963 janm mēhnat kī|key , thōṛī vā jyādā lēkin mēhnat tō kī|key nā  !

55The fruit of devotion is knowledge, that is, love (mohabbat), not effort (mehnat).

60Ab antim ēk janm muhabbat kē|K samay bhī mēhnat karē̃gē kyā  ? 61Ab tō mēhnat kā phal khāō .

56You made a little or more effort for 63 births, but you still made effort, did you not?

62Phal khānē kē|K samay bhī bīj bōtē rahē̃gē kyā  !

57Now, in this final birth, too, will you still make effort?

63Ab tō sadā bāp kī|key muhabbat dvārā phal khāō arthāt sadā phalībhūt banō .

58Now, at least constantly eat the fruit of love for the Father, that is, constantly be fruitful.

64Phal khāō arthāt sadā saphal rahō .

59To eat the fruit means to be constantly successful.

65Phal khānā arthāt sadā hōlī|holy manānā vā hōlī|holy ban jānā .

60To eat the fruit means to celebrate Holi constantly and to become holy.

66Ab mēhnat karnē kē|K , yuddha karnē kē|K saṅskār samāpt karō .

61Now, finish the sanskars of making effort and of battling.

67Ab tō rājya bhāgya pā liyā phir yuddha kāhē kī|key  ?

62You have now attained the fortune of the kingdom, so why do you still battle?

68Dēvapad kē|K bhāgya sē bhī śhrēṣhṭh bhāgya tō ab pāyā hai .

63You have now attained fortune that is even more elevated than the fortune of the status of a deity.

69Svarājya kā majā viśhva kē|K rājya mē̃ bhī nahī̃ hōgā .

64You will not have the pleasure of being a master of the self when you have the kingdom of the world.

70Tō rājya bhāgyavān ātmāyē̃ abhī bhī yuddha kyō̃ kartī hō  ?

65So, why are you souls who have received the fortune of the kingdom still battling even now?

71Isliē mēhnat kē|K saṅskār , yuddha kē|K saṅskār vā saṅkalp kī|key purānī lakaṛiyō̃ kō āg lagā dō .

66Therefore, set fire to the sanskars of making effort (working hard), the sanskars of battling and the old sticks of thoughts.

72Yahī hōlī|holy jalāō .

67Light the fire of this Holi.

73Bāpdādā kō bhī bachchō̃ kē|K mēhnat kē|K saṅskār dēkh taras paṛtā hai .

68Even BapDada feels mercy when He sees the children’s sanskars of working hard.

74Abhī tak bhī mēhnat karē̃gē tō phal kab khāyēṅgē  ?

69If you are working hard even now, then when will you eat the fruit?

75Iskā matlab albēlā nahī̃ bannā ki mēhnat tō karnī nahī̃ hai .

70This doesn’t mean that you can become careless by thinking that you do not have to work hard.

76Albēlā nahī̃ bannā hai lēkin sadā muhabbat mē̃ magan rahnā hai .

71You do not have to become careless but you do have to remain constantly absorbed in love.

77Lavlīn rahnā hai .

72You have to be merged in love.

78Sōchā aur huā - aisē abhyāsī banō .

73As soon as you think something, it happens –practise this.

79Master sarvśhaktivān hō tō saṅkalp kiyā aur anubhūti huī - aisē sahaj abhyāsī banō .

74You are master almighty authorities, ones with all powers and so, as soon as you have the thought, you experience it.

80Śhrēṣhṭh saṅkalpō̃ kē|K khajānē kō svarūp mē̃ lāō .

75Have this easy practice now. 76Put the treasure of elevated thoughts into practice.

81Kōī bhī śhrēṣhṭh kārya kartē hō tō sajātē hō nā  !

77Whenever you carry out an elevated task, you decorate everything, do you not?

82Jaisē kal bhī śhrr̥iṅgār kiyā nā  ?

78You decorated everything yesterday, did you not?

83 ( kal madhuban mē 5 kanyāō̃ kā samarpaṇ samārōh huā jismē̃ unhē̃ khūb sajāyā gayā thā ) śhrr̥iṅgārī huī sajī huī mūrt bhī śhubh niśhānī hai .

79(The day before, there was a surrender ceremony of five kumaris and they were decorated very beautifully.) 80A decorated image is a good sign.

84Tō āp sadā śhubh kārya mē̃ upasthit hō tō sadā guṇō̃ kē|K gahnō̃ sē sajāyē̃ huē rahō .

81All of you are constantly engaged in an auspicious task. 82Therefore, remain constantly decorated with the jewellery of virtues.

85Sirph buddhi kī|key tijārī mē̃ band kar nahī̃ rakhō .

83Do not keep them locked in the safe of your intellect.

86Sadā guṇō̃ kē|K gahnō̃ sē sajī sajāī huī mūrt , yahī 16 śhrr̥iṅgār arthāt 16 kalā sampann , sarvguṇ sampann banō .

84Always be an image that is decorated with the jewellery of all virtues - these are the sixteen decorations - that is, become full of all virtues, sixteen celestial degrees full.

87Aisē ū̃chē tē ū̃chē bāp kē|K bachchē sadā suhāgin , sadā bhāgyavān ātmāyē̃ bigar śhrr̥iṅgār kē|K kaisē sajēgī  !

85In any case, how would the constantly married, constantly fortunate children of the highest-on-high Father, look without any decorations?

88Suhāg kī|key niśhānī bhī śhrr̥iṅgār hai aur rājya kul kī|key niśhānī bhī śhrr̥iṅgār hai .

86The sign of being married (suhaag) is a decoration and the sign of being part of the royal clan is also a decoration.

89Tō āp kaun hō  ?

87So, who are you?

90Rājāō̃ kā rājā banānē vālē kē|K kul kē|K hō aur sadā suhāgin hō .

88You belong to the clan who creates the kings of kings and you are constantly married.

91Tō guṇō̃ kē|K gahnō̃ sē sajī sajāī rūhānī mūrt sadā banō .

89So, constantly be the spiritual images that are constantly decorated with the jewellery of virtues.

92Aisī hōlī|holy manāī hai  ?

90Have you celebrated such a Holi?

93Madhuban mē̃ hōlī|holy manāī nā  ?

91You celebrated Holi in Madhuban, did you not?

94Nāchnā , gānā yah hai manānā .

92To sing and dance is to celebrate.

95Tō sadā gātē hō , sadā nāchtē hō aur sthūl mē̃ bhī nāchā aur gāyā bhī .

93So, you are constantly singing and constantly dancing and you also danced and sang physically - too.

96Manāyā nā  ?

94You celebrated, did you not?

97Gāyā bhī , khāyā bhī .

95You sang and you also ate.

98Yōg bhī lagāyā , bhōg bhī lagāyā .

96You had yoga and also offered bhog.

99Man bhī sadā mīṭhā , mukh bhī sadā mīṭhā .

97Your minds are always sweet and your mouths are also always sweet.

100Tō hōlī|holy hō gaī nā  !

98So, you have had Holi, have you not?

101Hai hī kalp kalp kī|key hōlī|holy .

99It is the Holi of every cycle.

102Bākī kyā karē̃gē  ?

100What else will you do?

103Gulabāsī ḍālē̃gē  ?

101Will you sprinkle rose water?

104Gulāb kī|key pattiyā̃ ḍālē̃gē  ?

102Will you shower everyone with rose petals?

105Svayã hī gulāb hō .

103You yourselves are roses.

106Bākī kōī āśhā rah gaī hō tō kal gulāb jal ḍāl dēnā .

104If you have any desires remaining, then sprinkle everyone with rose water tomorrow.

107Raṅg mē̃ tō raṅgē huē hī hō .

105You are already coloured with the colours.

108Vah raṅg tō miṭānā paṛēgā aur yah raṅg tō jitnā chaṛhā huā hō utnā achchhā hai .

106That colour has to be wiped off whereas the more you are coloured with this colour, the better it is.

109Aisē sadā rūhānī gulāb , sadā gyān kē|K raṅg mē̃ raṅgē huē , sadā prabhu milan manānē vālē , sadā guṇō̃ kē|K gahnō̃ sē sajī sajāī huī mūrt , bāpdādā kē|K samīp aur samān ratnō̃ kō , chāhē dūr haĩ chāhē sammukh haĩ , lēkin sabhī hōlī|holy hansō̃ kō bāpdādā avināśhī hōlī|holy bannē kī|key mubārak dē rahē haĩ . 110Sāth-sāth sarv lavlīn ātmāō̃ kō snēh kē|K respond mē̃ yādpyār aur sarv śhrēṣhṭh ātmāō̃ kō namastē . 111' ' 112Party kē sāth avyakt mulākāt ( gujarāt )

107So, to such constantly spiritual roses, to those who are constantly coloured with the colour of knowledge, to those who constantly celebrate a meeting with God, to the images who are constantly decorated with the jewellery of all virtues, to the jewels who are close and equal to BapDada, whether you are far away or personally sitting here, to all the holy swans, BapDada is congratulating you for becoming holy in an imperishable way. 108Along with this, to all the souls who are merged in love, in response to their love, to the most elevated souls, love, remembrance and namaste.

1131 - āp sab baṛē tē baṛē vyāpārī hō nā  ?

109All of you are the biggest businessmen of all, are you not?

114Viśhva kē|K andar kōī bhī itnā baṛā business nahī̃ kar saktā .

110No one in the whole world can do such big business.

115Jō hōśhiyār businessman hōtē haĩ vē|way kamāī kō baṛhātē jātē haĩ .

111Those who are clever businessmen continue to increase their income.

116Laukik mē̃ jab vr̥iddhi hōtī hai tō ēk-ēk bindī lagātē jātē haĩ .

112In a worldly sense, as a sum increases, they keep adding a zero.

117Āpkō bhī bindī lagānā hai .

113You also have to add a point (zero).

118Maĩ bhī bindī , bāp bhī bindī .

114I am a point and the Father is also a point.

119Baṛē tē baṛē vyāpārī hō lēkin lagānā hai bindī .

115You are the biggest businessmen of all, but you just have to add a zero.

1206 va 8 likhnē mē̃ muśhkil bhī hō saktī hai lēkin bindī tō sab lagā saktē hō .

116It can be difficult to write a ‘6’ or an ‘8’, but anyone can write a zero.

121Yah sahaj bhī hai aur śhrēṣhṭh bhī .

117It is easy and also elevated.

122Sārē din mē̃ kitnī bindī lagātē hō  ?

118How many zeros do you add in the whole day?

123Jab question hōtā hai tō bindī miṭ jātī hai .

119When a question arises, the point is erased.

124Bindī kē|K binā question bhī hal nahī̃ hōtā .

120There cannot be a question without a point.

125Tō bindī lagānē mē̃ sab hōśhiyār hō nā  ?

121So, all of you are clever at putting a point, are you not?

126Bindī lagānē mē̃ samay bhī nahī̃ lagtā .

122It doesn’t even take time to put a point.

127Maĩ bhī bindī , bābā bhī bindī .

123I am a point and Baba is also a point.

128Iskē liē yah bhī kōī nahī̃ kah saktā ki samay nahī̃ hai .

124For this, none of you can even say that you don’t have time.

129Second kī|key bāt hai .

125It is a matter of a second.

130Tō jitnē second milē̃ bindī lagāō phir rāt kō ginō kitnī bindī lagāī  !

126So, however many seconds you have, add a zero and then, at night, count how many zeroes you added.

131Kisī bāt kō sōchō nahī̃ , jō bāt jyādā sōchtē hō vō jyādā baṛhtī hai .

127Do not think about anything. 128The more you think about something, the more it increases.

132Sab sōch chhōṛ ēk bāp kō yād karō , yahī duā hō jāyēgī .

129Stop thinking about anything and just remember the one Father. 130This will be blessings.

133Yād mē̃ bahut phāydē bharē haĩ - jitnā yād karē̃gē utnā śhakti bhartī jāyēgī , sahyōg bhī prāpt hōgā .

131There are many benefits in having remembrance. 132The more remembrance you have, the more you will be filled with power and you will also receive co-operation.

134Aur sēvā bhī hō jāyēgī .

133Service will also be done. 134Achcha.

135Achchhā -
