¹Today the master of the eternal living lamps, the King of Lamps, has come to meet his queens of lamps - all of you are queens of the confluence age, lovers of the one King of Lamps, the true Sitas, constantly in the company of one Rama, the Father.

⁵क्योंकि आप सभी संगमयुग की रानियाँ हो, एक दीपराज से लव लगाने वाली हो। ⁶दीपक की विशेषता दीपक के लौ पर होती है। ⁷आप सभी दीपरानियाँ दीपकों के राजा से लग्न लगाने वाली श्रेष्ठ आत्मायें हों वा सभी सच्ची सीतायें एक राम बाप के सदा साथ रहने वाली हो। ⁸इसलिए दीपकों के मालिक दीपराजा के साथ-साथ आप दीपकों का भी माला के रूप में गायन हो रहा है।

²Together with the Master of Lamps, the King of Lamps, you are praised in the form of a rosary of lamps.

⁹लेकिन दीपमाला के पहले,एक दीपराज बड़े दीपक में जगाते हैं। ¹⁰एक दीपक से आप अनेक दीपक जगमगाते हो।

³They ignite one lamp, the King of Lamps, and from one lamp innumerable other lamps begin to glimmer.

¹¹तो यह आप सभी का यादगार आज दिन तक भी मनाया जा रहा है।

⁴This day is called Deepmala - the rosary of the lamps.

¹²दीपमाला को देख क्या दिल में आता है?

⁵You sparkling souls are visible as the lamps of love.

¹³यह उमंग आता है कि मुझ दीपक का यह यादगार है?

⁶The memorial of your divine light is show as physical light.

¹⁴सिर्फ चमक देख खुश होते हो या अपना यादगार समझ खुशी होती है?

⁷This is the memorial of the sparkling souls.

¹⁵अपने को उसमें देखते हो? ¹⁶जानते हो कि मैं भी दीपक इस माला में हूँ? ¹⁷जानते हो, यह दीपमाला, माला के रूप में क्यों दिखाते हैं? ¹⁸दीप दिवस नहीं कहते, दीपमाला दिवस कहते हैं।

⁸On the one hand it is a memorial of the incorporeal soul, and on the other hand it is a memorial of your future corporeal form, the deity form of Lakshmi.

¹⁹क्योंकि आप सभी विशेष आत्माओं के संगठन का यह यादगार है। ²⁰माला तब सजती है जब अनेक दीपक संगठित रूप में हों। ²¹अगर एक वा दो दीपक जगा दें तो माला नहीं कहेंगे।

⁹Lakshmi is also the eternal Goddess of Wealth, the memorial of this confluence age, the form of the bestower, the one who constantly gives wealth.

²²तो दीपमाला अविनाशी,अनेक जगे हुए दीपकों का यादगार है। ²³तो अपना दिन मना रहे हो।

¹⁰In satyug there will be nobody who takes, so who would you give to?

²⁴एक तरफ चैतन्य दीपक के रूप में जगमगाते हुए विश्व को दिव्य रोशनी दे रहे हो, दूसरे तरफ अपना यादगार भी देख रहे हो। ²⁵देख-देख हर्षित होते हो ना? ²⁶यह दीपकों के रूप में क्यों दिखाया है? ²⁷क्योंकि आप चमकती हुई आत्मायें दीपक की लौ मिसल दिखाई देती, इसलिए चमकती हुई आत्मायें, दिव्य ज्योति का यादगार रूप है।

¹¹So it is a sign of the elevated activity of the confluence age.

²⁸एक तरफ निराकारी आत्मा के रूप का यादगार रूप है,दूसरी तरफ आप ही के भविष्य साकार दिव्य स्वरूप लक्ष्मी के रूप में यादगार है। ²⁹यही दीपमाला देव-पद प्राप्त करती है।

¹²Deepmala is also celebrated as the day of coronation - this is the sign of the future - so they have mixed up the two ages, because the confluence age is a very short age.

³⁰इसलिए, निराकार और साकार - दोनों रूपों का साथ-साथ यादगार है। ³¹तो डबल रूप का यादगार दीपमाला है। ³²लक्ष्मी का यादगार डबल रूप में एक तरफ धन-देवी अर्थात् दाता का रूप संगमयुग का यादगार है जो सदैव धन देते रहते हैं। ³³यह संगमयुग पर अविनाशी धन-देवी के रूप में चित्र दिखाया जाता है।

¹³However it is just as great as it small.

³⁴सतयुग में तो कोई लेने वाला ही नहीं होगा तो देंगे किसको? ³⁵यह संगमयुग के श्रेष्ठ कर्त्तव्य की निशानी है। ³⁶और दूसरे तरफ ताजपोशी दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

¹⁴You have great experiences, carry out a great task, have a great stage, and have great attainment, during this short age.

³⁷ताजपोशी भविष्य की निशानी है और धन-देवी संगमयुग के दाता रूप की निशानी है। ³⁸दोनों ही युग को मिला दिया है। ³⁹क्योंकि संगमयुग छोटा-सा युग है। ⁴⁰लेकिन जितना छोटा है उतना महान है।

¹⁵Because you experience many attainments, and because satyug comes very quickly after the confluence age, they have mixed the images and activities of the two ages.

⁴¹सर्व महान कर्त्तव्य,महान स्थिति,महान प्राप्ति, महान अनुभव इस छोटे से युग में होते हैं। ⁴²बहुत प्राप्तियाँ,बहुत अनुभव होते और संगमयुग के बाद सतयुग जल्दी आता है,इसलिए संगमयुग और सतयुग के चित्र और चरित्र मिला दिये हैं। ⁴³चित्र सतयुग का,चरित्र संगम का दे देते हैं। ⁴⁴इसी प्रकार यह दीपमाला भी आपके डबल रूप, डबल समय का यादगार हो गया है।

¹⁶They have shown the images of the golden age together with the activity of the confluence age.

⁴⁵जो दीपमाला में विधि रखते हैं, वह भिन्नभिन्न विधियाँ भी मिक्स कर दी हैं। ⁴⁶एक तरफ अपने पुराने खाते समाप्त कर नया बनाते हैं, दूसरे तरफ दीपमाला में नये वस्त्र भी विधिपूर्वक पहनते हैं। ⁴⁷तो पुराना हिसाब-किताब चुक्तु करना और नया खाता आरम्भ करना - यह संगमयुग का यादगार है। ⁴⁸पुराना सब भूल जाते हो, नया जन्म, नया सम्बन्ध, नया कर्म - सब परिवर्तन करते हो।

¹⁷In this way Deepmala is the memorial of your double form, a double period.

⁴⁹नया वस्त्र अर्थात् नया शरीर सतयुग की निशानी है। ⁵⁰संगमयुग पर नया शरीर नहीं मिलता है, पुराने वस्त्र में ही रहते हो। ⁵¹तो दोनों ही समय की विधियों को मिक्स कर दिया है। ⁵²गोल्डन वस्त्र अर्थात् सतोप्रधान शरीर भविष्य में धारण करेंगे।

¹⁸They have also mixed up different ceremonies - on the one hand the finishing of old accounts and create a new one, and on the other hand they wear new clothes accurately, according to the system.

⁵³अभी तो चत्ती वाले शरीर हैं। ⁵⁴आपरेशन में सिलाई करते हैं ना।

¹⁹To settle old accounts and to begin a new account is the memorial of the confluence age.

⁵⁵बड़े-बड़े आपरेशन में एक तरफ का मांस निकाल दूसरे तरफ लगाते हैं,तो चत्ती लगाई ना। ⁵⁶पुराने की निशानी है सिलाई होना। ⁵⁷तो यह हैं चत्ती वाले वस्त्र और भविष्य में गोल्डन नया वस्त्र मिलेगा। ⁵⁸तो आपके नये वस्त्र धारण करने का यादगार है।

²⁰You forget everything old and you have a new birth.

⁵⁹देव-आत्मा बन नया वस्त्र अर्थात् नया शरीर, सुनहरी अर्थात् सोने तुल्य। ⁶⁰आज की दुनिया में तो लोग बन नहीं सकते।

²¹You transform everything except the new clothes, which is the new body, a sign of satyug.

⁶¹इसलिए यादगार रूप में स्थूल नये वस्त्र पहन खुश हो जाते हैं।

²²You don’t receive a new body at the confluence, you live in your old costume.

⁶²वह एक दिन के लिए खुशी मनायेंगे, करके3 दिन भी मनावें लेकिन आप तो अविनाशी मनाते हो ना। ⁶³ऐसा मनाते हो जो यह संगमयुग का मनाना अनेक जन्म मनाते ही रहेंगे। ⁶⁴सदा ही जगमगाते दीपक जगते ही रहेंगे। ⁶⁵पहले फिर भी विधिपूर्वक दीपक जगाते थे जिससे सदा दीपक जगता रहे, बुझे नहीं - यह ध्यान रखते थे।

²³So they have mixed up systems.

⁶⁶घृत डालते थे, विधिपूर्वक आह्वान के अभ्यास में रहते थे।

²⁴New golden clothes, that is, the satopradhan body, will be adopted in the future.

⁶⁷अभी तो दीपक के बजाए बल्ब जगा देते हैं।

²⁵At the moment you have a body of old patches stitched together.

⁶⁸दीपमाला नहीं मनाते,अब तो मनोरंजन हो गया है। ⁶⁹वह आह्वान की विधि अथवा साधना समाप्त हो गई है।

²⁶They celebrate for one day, three at the most, while you celebrate for eternity., for innumerable births.

⁷⁰स्नेह समाप्त हो अभी सिर्फ स्वार्थ रह गया है।

²⁷The lamps will remain lit - they are not extinguished.

⁷¹धन बढ़ जाए - इसी स्वार्थ से करते। ⁷²भावना से नहीं,कामना से करते हैं। ⁷³पहले फिर भी भावना थी,अभी तो वह भावना, कामना के रूप में बदल गई है।

²⁸Now Deepmala has become an entertainment - the love has finished and there is only selfishness - they have the selfish motive to increase their wealth.

⁷⁴रहस्य समाप्त हो गया और रीति-रस्म रह गई है। ⁷⁵इसलिए,यथार्थ दाता रूपधारी लक्ष्मी किसी के पास आती नहीं।

²⁹Previously there was spiritual effort and feeling in the invocation of the lamps, but now that feeling has turned to desire.

⁷⁶धन भी आता है तो काला धन आता है। ⁷⁷दैवी-धन नहीं आता, आसुरी धन आता है।

³⁰The significance has ended, though the custom and system remains.

⁷⁸लेकिन आप सभी यथार्थ विधि से अपने दैवी पद का आह्वान करते स्वयं देवता या देवी बन जाते हो।

³¹This is why the accurate form of Lakshmi does not come to anyone - if wealth comes, it is dirty wealth.

⁷⁹तो दीपावली मनाने आये हो ना। ⁸⁰बाम्बे को चांस मिला है।

³²It is not divine wealth, it is devilish wealth.

⁸¹बापदादा बाम्बे को वैसे ही नरदेसावर कहते हैं।

³³But all of you invoke your deity status with an accurate method.

⁸²दीपावली भी धन-देवी की यादगार है ना।

³⁴You have come to celebrate Deepmala, have you not?

⁸³मनाना किसको कहा जाता, क्या करेंगे?

³⁵Will you simply light a candle, cut a cake?

⁸⁴सिर्फ मोमबत्ती जलायेंगे, केक काटेंगे, रास करेंगे, गीत गायेंगे? ⁸⁵यह तो ब्राह्मण जीवन का अधिकार है - सदा नाचना-गाना,सदा ज्योत से ज्योत जगाना। ⁸⁶लेकिन संगमयुग का मनाना अर्थात् बाप समान बनना। ⁸⁷तब तो माला के समीप आयेंगे ना।

³⁶Is this what it means to celebrate.

⁸⁸यह भी संगमयुग के सुहेज (मनोरंजन) हैं।

³⁷Okay, you may even dance and sing. ³⁸Is this celebrating?

⁸⁹खूब मनाओ लेकिन बाप से मिलन मनाते हुए सुहेज मनाओ। ⁹⁰सिर्फ मनोरंजन के रूप में नहीं लेकिन मन्मनाभव हो मनोरंजन मनाओ।

³⁹To constantly dance is the right of Brahmin life, to constantly ignite another light with your light.

⁹¹क्योंकि आप अलौकिक हो ना? ⁹²तो अलौकिक विधि से अलौकिकता का मनोरंजन अविनाशी हो जाता है।

⁴⁰The celebration of the confluence age means to become like Baba.

⁹³आप सबने तो संगमयुगी दीपमाला की विधि-पुराना खाता खत्म करना,हर संकल्प,हर घड़ी,हर कर्म, हर बोल नया अर्थात् अलौकिक हो - यह विधि अपना ली है ना? ⁹⁴जरा भी पुराना खाता रहा हुआ न हो। ⁹⁵कभी-कभी जब कमज़ोरी आ जाती है तो क्या कहते हो? ⁹⁶चाहते तो नहीं हैं लेकिन पुराने संस्कार हैं,पुराना स्वभाव अथवा आदत है, धीरे-धीरे खत्म हो जायेंगे - ऐसे कहते हैं ना?

⁴¹Only then will you come close in the rosary.

⁹⁷तो पुराना खाता फिर कहाँ से आया? ⁹⁸अभी तक सम्भाल करके रखा है क्या?

⁴²The celebration you have is ceremonial entertainment.

⁹⁹गठरी बाँधकर रखी होगी तो चोर लगेगा।

⁴³By all means celebrate, celebrate a great deal.

¹⁰⁰पुराना खाता है ही रावण का खाता। ¹⁰¹नया खाता है ब्रह्मा बाप का वा ब्राह्मणों का खाता।

⁴⁴However, while having ceremonial celebration, celebrate a meeting with Baba.

¹⁰²अगर थोड़ा भी पुराना खाता रहा हुआ है तो वह रावण की अपनी चीज़ है। ¹⁰³अपनी चीज़ को अधिकार से लेंगे।

⁴⁵Don’t just entertain yourself, but be manmanabhav - you are spiritual are you not?

¹⁰⁴इसलिए माया रावण चक्र लगाती है। ¹⁰⁵चीज़ ही नहीं होगी तो रावण आयेगा भी नहीं। ¹⁰⁶जैसे किसी का उधार कर्जा होता है तो क्या करते हैं?

⁴⁶All of you have finished the old accounts, and have adopted the method for new, that is, spiritual, thoughts, actions, and words, at every moment.

¹⁰⁷बार-बार चक्र लगाते रहेंगे,छोड़ेगा नहीं।

⁴⁷The old account does not remain even slightly does it?

¹⁰⁸कितना भी टालने की कोशिश करो लेकिन कर्ज़दार अपना कर्ज़ जरूर चुकायेगा। ¹⁰⁹अगर कोई भी पुराने खाते में पुराने संस्कार अभी समाप्त नहीं किये हैं तो यह रावण का कर्जा है।

⁴⁸Sometimes, when you become weak, you say you didn’t want it to happen but it is an old sanskara, old nature, or an old habit, and gradually it will finish... so where did the old account come from?

¹¹⁰इस कर्ज़ को मर्ज कहा जाता है।

⁴⁹Have you carefully kept it aside?

¹¹¹कहते हैं कर्ज़ जैसा कोई मर्ज नहीं। ¹¹²तो यह रावण का कर्जा - पुराने संकल्प, संस्कार-स्वभाव,पुरानी चाल-चलन - यह कर्जा कमज़ोर बना देता है। ¹¹³कमज़ोरी ही मर्ज अर्थात् बीमारी बन जाती है। ¹¹⁴इसलिए इस कर्ज़ को एक सेकण्ड में, ‘यह पुराना, पराया है' - इस एक दृढ़ संकल्प से समाप्त करो।

⁵⁰You haven’t tied it in a bundle have you?

¹¹⁵इसको जलाओ। ¹¹⁶आतिशबाजी जलाते हैं ना।

⁵¹If you have tied it in a bundle you are a thief.

¹¹⁷आजकल आतिशबाजी में बाम्ब बनाते हैं ना।

⁵²Have you finished the old account?

¹¹⁸तो आप दृढ़ संकल्प की तीली से आत्मिक बाम्ब की आतिशबाजी जलाओ जिससे यह सब पुराना समाप्त हो जाए। ¹¹⁹वह लोग गँवायेंगे और आप कमायेंगे।

⁵³The old account is Ravan’s account, whereas the new account is that of Brahma Baba and the Brahmins.

¹²⁰वह आतिशबाजी में पैसा गँवाते हैं,आप आतिशबाजी पर कमायेंगे।

⁵⁴If the old account remains even slightly, then it belongs to Ravan.

¹²¹कमाई करने की बाजी आती है ना? ¹²²वह आतिशबाजी है और आपकी उड़ती कला की बाजी है।

⁵⁵And so if something belongs to him he will surely take it by right.

¹²³इसमें आप विजयी हो रहे हो।

⁵⁶This is why Ravan and Maya circle around.

¹²⁴तो डबल फायदा लो। ¹²⁵जलाओ भी, कमाओ भी - यह विधि अपनाओ।

⁵⁷If you don’t have anything of theirs, Maya and Ravan will not come to you.

¹²⁶समझा? ¹²⁷विधि से सिद्धि मिलती है ना।

⁵⁸What do people do if someone is in debt to them?

¹²⁸एक यह विधि है। ¹²⁹दूसरी विधि - दीपमाला में कोने-कोने में सफाई करते हैं।

⁵⁹They will go around to that one again and again - they will not let it go.

¹³⁰चारों कोनों में सफाई करते हैं, दो वा तीन कोने में नहीं करते। ¹³¹क्योंकि स्वच्छता महानता है।

⁶⁰No matter how much you try to avoid it, the one who has a debt will definitely want it settled.

¹³²देव-पद का आह्वान करने के लिए चार कोने की स्वच्छता क्या है? ¹³³वो स्थूल चार कोनों की सफाई करते, आपकी स्वच्छता कौनसी है? ¹³⁴- ‘पवित्रता'।

⁶¹If you have not finished any old sanskara in the old account, you are in debt to Ravan, and this debt is a sickness - it makes the soul weak - it becomes an illness.

¹³⁵चारों प्रकार की स्वच्छता (पवित्रता) हो। ¹³⁶उस दिन सुनाया था ना। ¹³⁷इसी विधि से दैवी-पद की प्राप्ति करते हो।

⁶²So finish this debt in a second with the determined thought that this is old, this is foreign - burn it.

¹³⁸अगर एक भी प्रकार की स्वच्छता नहीं है तो श्रेष्ठ दैवी-पद की प्राप्ति भी नहीं होती अर्थात् जो ऊँच ते ऊँच बनने की इच्छा रखते हो, वह पूर्ण नहीं हो सकती। ¹³⁹तो चारों ही प्रकार की स्वच्छता - यह है दूसरी विधि। ¹⁴⁰इस विधि को अपनाया है? ¹⁴¹सुनाया ना- मनाना अर्थात् बाप समान बनना।

⁶³They light fireworks, do they not?

¹⁴²ब्रह्मा बाप को देखा, पुराना खाता खत्म किया ना, चारों प्रकार की स्वच्छता हर कर्म में देखी ना। ¹⁴³ब्रह्मा ने सबूत बन करके दिखाया, इसलिए नम्बरवन सपूत बने और नम्बरवन पद की प्राप्ति की। ¹⁴⁴तो फॉलो फादर है ना। ¹⁴⁵ब्रह्मा बाप ने सेकण्ड में संकल्प किया,पुराना खाता खत्म।

⁶⁴They throw “bangers”.

¹⁴⁶उसके लिए दीपमाला पर यह विधि अपनाई जाती है। ¹⁴⁷दीपमाला के दिवस पुराना खाता खत्म किया, समर्पित हुए, पुराना सब स्वाहा किया?

⁶⁵So today, with the matchstick of determined thought, light the spiritual “bangers” through which this all finishes.

¹⁴⁸दृढ़ संकल्प की तीली से आतिशबाजी कौन-सी जलाई? ¹⁴⁹उड़ती कला की बाजी लगाई?

⁶⁶They lose money when they light fireworks, while you earn an income through having fireworks.

¹⁵⁰इसलिए यह इस दिन का यादगार चला आ रहा है।

⁶⁷At Deepmala they also clean every corner.

¹⁵¹इन विधियों को अपनाना अर्थात् दिवाली मनाना। ¹⁵²तो दिवाली मनाई या मनाने वालों को देखकर खुश हुए?

⁶⁸They clean all four corners, not just two or three, because cleanliness is greatness.

¹⁵³मनाना अर्थात् बनना। ¹⁵⁴ब्रह्मा बाप समान बनना - यही दिवाली मनाना हुआ।

⁶⁹Cleanliness for you means purity - purity in all four varieties.

¹⁵⁵देखो - एक तरफ बारूद जलाना, दूसरे तरफ दीपक जगाना, तीसरे तरफ मनाना, मिठाई खाना,नये वस्त्र पहनना और चौथे तरफ सफाई करना। ¹⁵⁶तो जलाना भी है, मनाना भी है और सफाई भी करना है। ¹⁵⁷चारों प्रकार करना है। ¹⁵⁸करना अर्थात् कर्म में करना।

⁷⁰So, celebrate Diwali with these methods.

¹⁵⁹चारों प्रकार की दीपमाला हो गई ना।

⁷¹To celebrate means to become like Brahma Baba.

¹⁶⁰ऐसे नहीं - करना आता,मनाना आता लेकिन जलाना नहीं आता, सफाई करना नहीं आता। ¹⁶¹नहीं।

⁷²On the one side there is burning, the burning of fireworks, on the other there is the igniting of lamps.

¹⁶²चारों ही बातों में बाप समान बनना है। ¹⁶³समझा, दीपावली का अर्थ क्या है? ¹⁶⁴दीपरानियाँ और दीपराजा की यह कहानी है।

⁷³On the third side there is celebrating, eating sweets, wearing of new clothes, and on the fourth side there is cleaning.

¹⁶⁵संगमयुग पर भी रानी बन गई हो ना? ¹⁶⁶बेहद के राजाओं के राजा की रानियाँ हो।

⁷⁴This is the celebration of Deepmala in all four varieties.

¹⁶⁷सतयुग में तो होंगी देव-रानी, लेकिन अभी परमात्म-रानियाँ हो। ¹⁶⁸इसलिए पटरानियाँ दिखाई हैं।

⁷⁵It should not be that you know how to burn and how to celebrate, but you don’t know how to clean.

¹⁶⁹सिर्फ कृष्ण छोटे बच्चे को रानियाँ दिखा दी हैं।

⁷⁶It should not be like this. ⁷⁷Become like Baba in all four respects.

¹⁷⁰कृष्ण को बच्चे के रूप में भी दिखाते, फिर रानियाँ भी दिखाते। ¹⁷¹मिक्स कर दिया है।

⁷⁸Understand the meaning of Deepmala - this is the story of the queens of lamps and the King of lamps.

¹⁷²यह राजाओं का राजा बनाने वाले की सब रानियाँ हैं। ¹⁷³रानियाँ भी हो,सीतायें भी हो।

⁷⁹So you have to become the eternal queens of the unlimited King of the confluence age.

¹⁷⁴यही जादू है। ¹⁷⁵अभी-अभी कहते भाई-भाई हो, तो जरूर अपने को भाई ही कहेंगे।

⁸⁰In satyug there will be deity queens, but now you are Godly queens.

¹⁷⁶फिर दूसरे तरफ कहते सब सीतायें हो,राम कोई नहीं।

⁸¹Krishna is shown as a young child, yet he is shown with queens.

¹⁷⁷यही जादू है। ¹⁷⁸इसमें ही मजा है।

⁸²So they have mixed it up have they not?

¹⁷⁹अभी-अभी बहन-भाई बन जाओ, अभी-अभी सीता बन जाओ,अभी फरिश्ता बन जाओ।

⁸³All of you are the queens of the One who creates kings of kings.

¹⁸⁰यह रूहानी जादू बहुत रमणीक है। ¹⁸¹जादू से घबराते तो नहीं हो ना।

⁸⁴Become brothers and sisters one minute, the next become brothers, the next Sitas.

¹⁸²स्वयं ही जादूगर बन गये। ¹⁸³दीपावली अथवा दीपमाला की अविनाशी मुबारक है।

⁸⁵Become souls one minute, and the next become angels.

²⁵⁶खाओ-पियो मौज करो। ²⁵⁷मौजों के लिए ही आये हो।

²⁵⁸पैदा ही मौजों से हुए हो। ²⁵⁹ज्ञान सुना और पैदा हो गये।
