Points of Murli by date

Shri Krishna takes birth at amrit vela, not at night. People celebrate the Night of Shiva, but there is no date or time for that. The birth of Shri Krishna takes place at amrit vela. Amrit vela is considered to be the most auspicious time (muhūrt). Those people celebrate Shri Krishna’s birth at midnight, but that is not the time of dawn (prabhāt). Dawn (prabhāt) is around 2.00 to 3.00 am when you are also able to remember God. It isn't that someone would get up at midnight after indulging in vice and remember God; not at all! Amrit vela is not at midnight. At that time, human beings are impure and dirty. The atmosphere is very bad at that time. No one gets up at 2.30 am. Amrit vela is around 3.00 to 4.00 am. People awaken at that time and perform devotion. They fixed that time themselves, but there isn't really a fixed time.

The call of the time is “Be a Bestower”. There is a great need for this. The call of all the souls of the world is: “Hey, our special loved deities !” You are the special, loved deities, are you not? In one form or another, you are the special loved deities for all souls. So now the call of all the souls is: “Hey special, loved deities, the gods and goddesses, bring about transformation!” Can you hear this call ?

The Gita is the number one scripture. The Shrimat Bhagawad Gita, the Mother Gita, is the jewel of all the scriptures. Now, who gave birth to the mother ? It is the Father who adopts the mother. Who spoke the Gita ? It would not be said that Christ adopted the Bible. The Bible that they study was created from the teachings spoken by Christ. Now, who gave the teachings of the Gita that were later made into the book that they study?

The secrets of the drama should remain in the intellects of you actors. However, this is very difficult; some become trapped somewhere or other and so Baba locks their intellects. The destination is very high.

When "The kingdom of Rama" is said, your intellects go to God. Not everyone would accept a human being as God. So, you have to have mercy for them. You have to tolerate difficulties. Baba says: Sweet children, there will be many obstacles in the sacrificial fire of this knowledge for changing human beings into deities. The God of the Gita also had to take insults. This one and you too are insulted. They say: Perhaps this one saw the moon on the fourth night. All of those are tall stories.

The bondages of your bodies have to be broken away from your intellects. Sannyasis leave their homes and families and run away. You study Raj Yoga while living at home. There is the example of Janak. He then became Anu Janak. Many children say that they want to live in their kingdom (home) like Janak and take knowledge. Each one is a king of his own home. The owner is called the king. There is the father, his wife, and their children, and so that is a limited creation.

Bharat was the master of the world. It has now become poverty-stricken. Bharat once again becomes the master of the world through you mothers. The majority are mothers and this is why it is said: Salutations to the mothers.
