¹“मीठे बच्चे - अवगुणों को निकालने का पूरा पुरूषार्थ करो, जिस गुण की कमी है उसका पोतामेल रखो, गुणों का दान करो तो गुणवान बन जायेंगे''

¹Essence: Sweet children, make full effort to remove your defects.Keep a chart of the virtues you lack. ²Donate virtues and you will become virtuous.

²प्रश्न:- गुणवान बनने के लिए कौन-सी पहली-पहली श्रीमत मिली हुई है?

³Question: Which shrimat do you first receive in order to become virtuous?

³उत्तर:- मीठे बच्चे - गुणवान बनना है तो - 1. किसी की भी देह को मत देखो।

⁴Answer: Sweet children, in order to become virtuous: 1) Do not look at anyone’s body.

⁴अपने को आत्मा समझो। ⁵एक बाप से सुनो, एक बाप को देखो।

⁵Consider yourself to be a soul and listen to the one Father alone and only look at the Father alone.

⁶मनुष्य मत को नहीं देखो।

⁶Don’t listen to the dictates of human beings.

⁷2. देह-अभिमान के वश ऐसी कोई एक्टिविटी न हो जिससे बाप का वा ब्राह्मण कुल का नाम बदनाम हो।

⁷2) Do not have any such activities under the influence of body consciousness that you would defame the Father’s name and the Brahmin clan.

⁸उल्टी चलन वाले गुणवान नहीं बन सकते।

⁸Those with wrong activity cannot become virtuous.

⁹उन्हें कुल कंलकित कहा जाता है।

⁹They are known as the ones who defame the family’s name.

¹⁰ओम् शान्ति।

¹⁰Om shanti.

¹¹(बापदादा के हाथ में मोतिये के फूल थे) बाबा साक्षात्कार कराते हैं, ऐसा खुशबूदार फूल बनने का है।

¹¹(BapDada was holding some jasmine). ¹²Baba is showing you these fragrant flowers so that you can become like them.

¹²बच्चे जानते हैं हम फूल बने थे जरूर।

¹³You children know that you definitely did become flowers.

¹³गुलाब के फूल, मोतिये के फूल भी बने थे अथवा हीरे भी बने थे, अब फिर बन रहे हैं।

¹⁴You became roses and you also became jasmine, that is, you became diamonds and are also becoming those once again.

¹⁴यह हैं सच्चे, आगे तो थे झूठे। ¹⁵झूठ ही झूठ, सच की रत्ती भी नहीं।

¹⁵You are now real; previously, you were false; there was nothing but falsehood; there was not even a grain of truth.

¹⁶अभी तुम सच्चे बनते हो तो फिर सच्चे में सब गुण भी चाहिए।

¹⁶You are now becoming true. ¹⁷Those who are honest also need all the virtues.

¹⁷जितने जिसमें गुण हैं, उतना औरों को भी दान दे आपसमान बना सकते हैं इसलिए बाप बच्चों को कहते रहते हैं - बच्चे, पोतामेल रखो, अपने गुणों का।

¹⁸However many virtues you have, you have to donate them to others to such an extent that you make them similar to yourself. ¹⁹This is why the Father continues to tell you children: Children, keep a chart of your virtues.

¹⁸हमारे में कोई अवगुण तो नहीं हैं? ¹⁹दैवी गुणों में क्या कमी है?

²⁰Check whether there are any defects in you and whether you lack any divine virtues.

²⁰रात को रोज़ अपना पोतामेल निकालो।

²¹Check your chart every night.

²¹दुनिया के मनुष्यों की तो बात ही अलग है।

²²It is a different matter for the people of the world outside.

²²तुम अभी मनुष्य तो नहीं हो ना। ²³तुम हो ब्राह्मण।

²³You are not human beings now; you are Brahmins.

²⁴भल मनुष्य तो सब मनुष्य ही हैं। ²⁵परन्तु हर एक के गुणों में, चलन में फ़र्क पड़ता है।

²⁴Although all are human beings, there is a difference in each one’s virtues and behaviour.

²⁶माया के राज्य में भी कोई-कोई मनुष्य बहुत अच्छे गुणवान होते हैं परन्तु बाप को नहीं जानते।

²⁵Some human beings in the kingdom of Maya are very good and virtuous, but they don’t know the Father.

²⁷बड़े रिलीजस माइन्डेड, नर्म दिल होते हैं।

²⁶They are religious minded and very soft hearted.

²⁸दुनिया में तो मनुष्यों के गुणों की वैराइटी है। ²⁹और जब देवता बनते हैं तो दैवी गुण तो सबमें हैं।

²⁷People of the world have a variety of virtues, whereas when you become deities, everyone has divine virtues.

³⁰बाकी पढ़ाई के कारण मर्तबे कम हो पड़ते हैं।

²⁸However, because this is a study, there is a difference in your status.

³¹एक तो पढ़ना है, दूसरा अवगुणों को निकालना है।

²⁹First, you have to study and, second, you have to remove all your defects.

³²यह तो बच्चे जानते हैं हम सारी दुनिया से न्यारे हैं।

³⁰You children understand that you are unique in the world.

³³यहाँ यह जैसे एक ही ब्राह्मण कुल बैठा हुआ है।

³¹It is only the one Brahmin clan sitting here.

³⁴शूद्र कुल में है मनुष्य मत।

³²In the shudra clan, there are the dictates of human beings.

³⁵ब्राह्मण कुल में है ईश्वरीय मत।

³³In the Brahmin clan, there are God’s directions.

³⁶पहले-पहले तुमको बाप का परिचय देना है, तुम बताते हो फलाना आरग्यु करते हैं।

³⁴First of all, you have to give people the Father’s introduction. ³⁵You say that so-and-so argues a lot.

³⁷बाबा ने समझाया था, लिख दो हम ब्राह्मण अथवा बी.के. हैं ईश्वरीय मत पर तो समझ जायेंगे इनसे ऊंचा तो कोई है नहीं।

³⁶Baba explains that you should write to them and say: We are Brahmins, that is, we are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris and we are following God’s directions. ³⁷They will then understand that there is no one higher than you.

³⁸ऊंच ते ऊंच है भगवान्, तो हम उनके बच्चे भी उनकी मत पर हैं।

³⁸God is the Highest on High and we, His children, are following His directions.

³⁹मनुष्य मत पर हम चलते नहीं, ईश्वरीय मत पर चल हम देवता बनते हैं।

³⁹We do not follow human directions. ⁴⁰We become deities by following God’s directions.

⁴⁰मनुष्य मत बिल्कुल छोड़ दी है।

⁴¹We have completely renounced following human directions.

⁴¹फिर तुमसे कोई आरग्यू कर न सके।

⁴²Therefore, no one can argue with you.

⁴²कोई कहे यह कहाँ से सुना, किसने सिखाया है?

⁴³If someone asks, “Where did you hear this? ⁴⁴Who taught you?”

⁴³तुम कहेंगे हम हैं ईश्वरीय मत पर।

⁴⁵You reply: We are following God’s directions.

⁴⁴प्रेरणा की बात नहीं।

⁴⁶There is no question of inspiration.

⁴⁵बेहद के बाप ईश्वर से हम समझे हुए हैं।

⁴⁷We have understood everything from God, the unlimited Father.

⁴⁶बोलो, भक्ति मार्ग के शास्त्र मत पर तो हम बहुत समय चले।

⁴⁸Tell them: We have been following the dictates of the scriptures of the path of devotion for a long time.

⁴⁷अब हमको मिली है ईश्वरीय मत।

⁴⁹We have now received God’s directions.

⁴⁸तुम बच्चों को बाप की ही महिमा करनी है।

⁵⁰You children have to praise the Father alone.

⁴⁹पहले-पहले बुद्धि में बिठाना है, हम ईश्वरीय मत पर हैं।

⁵¹First of all, instil it in your intellects that you are following God’s directions.

⁵⁰मनुष्य मत पर हम चलते नहीं, सुनते नहीं।

⁵²We do not follow the dictates of human beings nor do we listen to them.

⁵¹ईश्वर ने कहा है हियर नो ईविल, सी नो ईविल… मनुष्य मत।

⁵³God has said: Hear no evil! ⁵⁴See no evil! ⁵⁵Do not listen to human dictates.

⁵²आत्मा को देखो, शरीर को नहीं देखो।

⁵⁶Look at souls, not bodies.

⁵³यह तो पतित शरीर है।

⁵⁷This body is impure.

⁵⁴इनको क्या देखने का है, इन आंखों से यह नहीं देखो।

⁵⁸What is there to see in this? ⁵⁹Do not use your eyes to look at it.

⁵⁵यह शरीर तो पतित का पतित ही है।

⁶⁰This body is completely impure.

⁵⁶यहाँ के यह शरीर तो सुधरने नहीं हैं और ही पुराने होने हैं।

⁶¹This body is not going to get any better; it will become even older.

⁵⁷दिन-प्रतिदिन सुधरती है आत्मा।

⁶²It is the soul that is being reformed day by day.

⁵⁸आत्मा ही अविनाशी है, इसलिए बाप कहते हैं सी नो ईविल।

⁶³Souls are immortal. ⁶⁴This is why the Father says: See no evil!

⁵⁹शरीर को भी नहीं देखना है।

⁶⁵You must not even see bodies.

⁶⁰देह सहित देह के जो भी सम्बन्ध हैं, उनको भूल जाना है।

⁶⁶Forget all your bodily relations, including your own bodies.

⁶¹आत्मा को देखो, एक परमात्मा बाप से सुनो, इसमें ही मेहनत है।

⁶⁷See the souls and listen to the one Supreme Father alone. ⁶⁸It is this that takes effort.

⁶²तुम फील करते हो यह बड़ी सब्जेक्ट है।

⁶⁹You also feel that this is a great subject.

⁶³जो होशियार होंगे, उनको पद भी इतना ऊंच मिलेगा।

⁷⁰Those who are clever will also claim a high status.

⁶⁴सेकण्ड में जीवनमुक्ति मिल सकती है।

⁷¹Liberation-in-life can be received within a second.

⁶⁵परन्तु अगर पूरा पुरूषार्थ नहीं किया तो फिर सजायें भी बहुत खानी पड़ेंगी।

⁷²However, if you do not make full effort, you will also have to experience a great deal of punishment.

⁶⁶तुम बच्चे अन्धों की लाठी बनते हो बाप का परिचय देने के लिए।

⁷³You children become sticks for the blind in order to give them the Father’s introduction.

⁶⁷आत्मा को देखा नहीं जाता, जाना जाता है।

⁷⁴Souls cannot be seen; they have to be understood.

⁶⁸आत्मा कितनी छोटी है।

⁷⁵Souls are very tiny.

⁶⁹इस आकाश तत्व में देखो मनुष्य कितनी जगह लेते हैं।

⁷⁶Just look how much space human beings who live under the element of sky take up!

⁷⁰मनुष्य तो आते जाते रहते हैं ना।

⁷⁷Human beings continue to come and go.

⁷¹आत्मा कहाँ आती जाती है क्या?

⁷⁸Do souls come and go?

⁷²आत्मा की कितनी छोटी-सी जगह होगी!

⁷⁹Souls take up such a small space.

⁷³विचार की बात है।

⁸⁰This is something to think about.

⁷⁴आत्माओं का झुण्ड होगा।

⁸¹There will be a swarm of souls.

⁷⁵शरीर के भेंट में आत्मा कितनी छोटी है, वह कितनी थोड़ी जगह लेगी।

⁸²In comparison to a body, a soul is very tiny; it takes up very little space.

⁷⁶तुमको तो रहने के लिए बहुत जगह चाहिए।

⁸³You need a great deal of space to live in.

⁷⁷अभी तुम बच्चे विशाल बुद्धि बने हो।

⁸⁴You children become those with broad and unlimited intellects.

⁷⁸बाप नई बातें समझाते हैं नई दुनिया के लिए और फिर बताने वाला भी नया है।

⁸⁵The Father explains new things to you for the new world. ⁸⁶The One who explains to you is also new.

⁷⁹मनुष्य तो सबसे रहम मांगते रहते हैं।

⁸⁷Human beings continue to ask everyone for mercy.

⁸⁰अपने में ताकत नहीं है, जो अपने पर रहम करें।

⁸⁸They do not have the strength to have mercy for themselves.

⁸¹तुमको ताकत मिलती है।

⁸⁹You are receiving power.

⁸²तुमने बाप से वर्सा लिया है और कोई को रहम-दिल नहीं कहा जाता है।

⁹⁰You have claimed your inheritance from the Father. ⁹¹No one else can be called merciful.

⁸³मनुष्य को कभी देवता नहीं कह सकते हैं।

⁹²Human beings cannot be called deities.

⁸⁴रहमदिल एक ही बाप है, जो मनुष्य को देवता बनाते हैं इसलिए कहते हैं परमपिता परमात्मा की महिमा अपरमअपार है, उसका पारावार नहीं।

⁹³Only the one Father is merciful. ⁹⁴He is the One who changes humans into deities. ⁹⁵This is why it has been said that the praise of the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is limitless; there is no limit to His praise.

⁸⁵अभी तुम जानते हो, उनके रहम का पारावार नहीं है।

⁹⁶You now know that there is also no limit to His mercy.

⁸⁶बाबा जो नई दुनिया बनाते हैं, उसमें सब कुछ नया होता है।

⁹⁷Everything is new in the new world that Baba creates.

⁸⁷मनुष्य, पशु, पक्षी सब सतोप्रधान होते हैं।

⁹⁸Human beings, birds and animals, everything there is satopradhan.

⁸⁸बाप ने समझाया है तुम ऊंच बनते हो तो तुम्हारा फर्नीचर भी ऐसा ऊंच ते ऊंच गाया हुआ है।

⁹⁹The Father has explained that when you become elevated, your furniture is also remembered as being the most elevated.

⁸⁹बाप को भी कहते हैं ऊंचे ते ऊंचा, जिससे विश्व की बादशाही मिलती है।

¹⁰⁰The Father is also called the Highest on High. ¹⁰¹You receive the kingdom of the world from Him.

⁹⁰बाप साफ कहते हैं हम हथेली पर बहिश्त ले आता हूँ।

¹⁰²The Father tells you clearly: I bring Paradise on the palm of My hand.

⁹¹वो लोग हथेली से केसर आदि निकालते हैं, यहाँ तो पढ़ाई की बात है।

¹⁰³Those people make saffron etc. emerge from the palms of their hands. ¹⁰⁴Here, it is a question of studying.

⁹²यह है सच्ची पढ़ाई।

¹⁰⁵This is a true study.

⁹³तुम समझते हो हम पढ़ रहे हैं।

¹⁰⁶You understand that you have come to this school to study.

⁹⁴पाठशाला में आये हैं, पाठशालायें तुम बहुत खोलो तो तुम्हारी एक्टिविटी को देखें।

¹⁰⁷When you open many of these schools, people will see your activities.

⁹⁵कोई फिर उल्टी चलन चलते हैं तो नाम बदनाम करते हैं।

¹⁰⁸However, when you behave in a wrong way, you defame the name.

⁹⁶देह-अभिमान वाले की एक्टिविटी ही अलग होगी।

¹⁰⁹The activities of those who are body conscious are different.

⁹⁷देखेंगे ऐसी एक्टिविटी है तो फिर जैसे सब पर कलंक लग जाता है।

¹¹⁰When people see such behaviour, it is as though everyone is defamed.

⁹⁸समझते हैं इनकी एक्टिविटी में तो कोई फ़र्क नहीं है तो गोया बाप की निंदा कराई ना।

¹¹¹They think that there is no difference in their activities, and so it as though that soul has defamed the Father.

⁹⁹टाइम लगता है। ¹⁰⁰सारा दोष उस पर आ जाता है।

¹¹²It takes time, but all the blame falls on Him.

¹⁰¹मैनर्स बहुत अच्छे चाहिए।

¹¹³You need very good manners.

¹⁰²तुम्हारे कैरेक्टर्स बदलने में कितना टाइम लगता है।

¹¹⁴How long does it take to reform your characters?

¹⁰³तुम समझते हो कोई-कोई के कैरेक्टर्स बहुत अच्छे फर्स्टक्लास होते हैं।

¹¹⁵You understand that the characters of some are very good; they are first class.

¹⁰⁴वह दिखाई भी पड़ेंगे।

¹¹⁶That too is visible.

¹⁰⁵बाबा एक-एक बच्चे को बैठ देखते हैं, इनमें क्या खामी है जो निकलनी चाहिए।

¹¹⁷Baba sits here and looks at each of you children to see what defects have to be removed from you.

¹⁰⁶एक-एक की जांच करते हैं।

¹¹⁸He examines each one.

¹⁰⁷खामियाँ तो सबमें हैं।

¹¹⁹Everyone has defects.

¹⁰⁸तो बाप सबको देखते रहते हैं।

¹²⁰Therefore, the Father continues to see everyone and their results.

¹⁰⁹रिजल्ट देखते रहते हैं।

¹²¹The Father has love for you children.

¹¹⁰बाप का तो बच्चों पर लव रहता है ना। ¹¹¹जानते हैं इनमें यह खामी है, इस कारण यह इतना ऊंच पद पा नहीं सकेंगे।

¹²²He knows which particular defects you have in you and that it is the reason why you will not be able to claim a high status.

¹¹²अगर खामियां नहीं निकली तो बड़ा मुश्किल है।

¹²³It will be very difficult if you don't remove your defects.

¹¹³देखने से ही मालूम पड़ जाता है।

¹²⁴Baba understands this by seeing you.

¹¹⁴यह तो जानते हैं अभी टाइम पड़ा है।

¹²⁵You understand that there is still some time left.

¹¹⁵एक-एक की जांच करते, बाप की नज़र एक-एक के गुणों पर पड़ेगी।

¹²⁶He examines each one. ¹²⁷The Father’s vision falls on each one’s virtues.

¹¹⁶पूछेंगे तुम्हारे में कोई अवगुण तो नहीं है?

¹²⁸He asks: Are there any defects in you?

¹¹⁷बाबा के आगे तो सच बता देते हैं।

¹²⁹You tell the truth when you come in front of Baba.

¹¹⁸कोई-कोई को देह-अभिमान रहता है तो नहीं बताते हैं।

¹³⁰Some have body consciousness and so they do not speak about them.

¹¹⁹बाप तो कहते रहते हैं - आपेही जो करे सो देवता। ¹²⁰कहने से करे वह मनुष्य, जो कहने से भी न करे.....।

¹³¹The Father continues to say: Those who act without being asked are called deities and those who do so after being asked are called human beings. ¹³²Those who don’t do it, even after being asked, are called…

¹²¹बाबा कहते रहते हैं जो भी खामियां हैं इस जन्म की वह बाप के आगे आपेही बताओ।

¹³³Baba continues to say: When you come in front of the Father, tell Him of the defects you have in this birth.

¹²²बाबा तो सबको कह देते हैं खामियां सर्जन को बतानी चाहिए। ¹²³शरीर की बीमारी नहीं, अन्दर की बीमारी बतानी है।

¹³⁴Baba tells everyone: Tell the Surgeon about your weakness; not any illness of your body, but the illness you have inside.

¹²⁴तुम्हारे पास अन्दर में क्या-क्या आसुरी ख्यालात रहते हैं?

¹³⁵What devilish thoughts do you have inside you?

¹²⁵तो इस पर बाबा समझायेंगे। ¹²⁶इस हालत में तुम इतना ऊंच पद नहीं पा सकेंगे, जब तक अवगुण निकलें, अवगुण बहुत निंदा कराते हैं।

¹³⁶Baba will then explain and tell you that you will not be able to claim a high status in that condition, that is, not until you have removed those defects. ¹³⁷It is defects that cause a lot of defamation.

¹²⁷मनुष्यों को वहम पड़ता है - भगवान् इनको पढ़ाते हैं!

¹³⁸People develop doubt and think: Is God teaching you?

¹²⁸भगवान् तो नाम-रूप से न्यारा है, सर्वव्यापी है, वह कैसे इनको पढ़ायेंगे, इनकी चलन कैसी है।

¹³⁹“God is beyond name and form, He is omnipresent. ¹⁴⁰How can He be teaching them? ¹⁴¹Just look at their behaviour!”

¹²⁹यह तो बाप जानते हैं - तुम्हारे गुण कैसे फर्स्टक्लास होने चाहिए।

¹⁴²The Father knows this. ¹⁴³You should have first-class virtues.

¹³⁰अवगुण छिपा देंगे तो कोई को इतना तीर नहीं लगेगा इसलिए जितना हो सके अपने में अवगुण जो हैं उनको निकालते जाओ।

¹⁴⁴If you hide your defects, your arrows will not hit the target to that extent. ¹⁴⁵Therefore, to whatever extent possible, continue to remove your defects.

¹³¹नोट करो, हमारे में यह-यह खामी है तो दिल अन्दर में खायेगी।

¹⁴⁶Note down the defects you have and your conscience will then bite you.

¹³²घाटा पड़ता है तो दिल खाती है।

¹⁴⁷If there is a loss, your conscience would bite you.

¹³³व्यापारी लोग अपना खाता रोज़ निकालते हैं - आज कितना फायदा हुआ, रोज़ का खाता देखते हैं।

¹⁴⁸Businessmen write up their accounts every day showing how much profit they have made. ¹⁴⁹They check their accounts every day.

¹³⁴यह बाप भी कहते हैं रोज़ अपनी चाल देखो। ¹³⁵नहीं तो अपना नुकसान कर देंगे। ¹³⁶बाप की पत (इज्ज़त) गंवा देंगे।

¹⁵⁰This Father also says: Look at your behaviour every day, otherwise, you will harm yourself and cause the Father’s honour to be lost.

¹³⁷गुरू की निंदा कराने वाले ठौर न पायें।

¹⁵¹Those who defame the Guru cannot reach their destination.

¹³⁸देह-अभिमानी ठौर नहीं पा सकेंगे।

¹⁵²Those who are body conscious cannot reach their destination.

¹³⁹देही-अभिमानी अच्छी ठौर पायेंगे।

¹⁵³Those who are soul conscious reach a good destination.

¹⁴⁰देही-अभिमानी बनने के लिए ही सब पुरूषार्थ करते हैं।

¹⁵⁴All of you are making effort to become soul conscious.

¹⁴¹दिन-प्रतिदिन सुधरते जाते हैं।

¹⁵⁵Day by day, you are reforming yourselves.

¹⁴²देह-अभिमान से जो कर्त्तव्य होते हैं, उनको काटते रहना है।

¹⁵⁶Put an end to the activities you perform due to body consciousness.

¹⁴³देह-अभिमान से पाप जरूर होता है इसलिए देही-अभिमानी बनते रहो।

¹⁵⁷Sins are definitely committed due to body consciousness. ¹⁵⁸Therefore, continue to become soul conscious.

¹⁴⁴यह तो समझ सकते हो जन्मते ही राजा कोई होता नहीं।

¹⁵⁹You understand that no one becomes a king at birth.

¹⁴⁵देही-अभिमानी बनने में टाइम तो लगता है ना।

¹⁶⁰It takes time for you to become soul conscious.

¹⁴⁶यह भी तुम समझते हो, अभी हमको वापिस जाना है।

¹⁶¹You also understand that you now have to return home.

¹⁴⁷बाबा के पास बच्चे आते हैं। ¹⁴⁸कोई 6 मास बाद आते, कोई 8 मास बाद भी आते हैं तो बाबा देखते हैं इतने समय में क्या उन्नति हुई है?

¹⁶²Children come to Baba: some come after six months, some after eight months and so Baba sees how much progress they have made in that time.

¹⁴⁹दिन-प्रतिदिन कुछ सुधरते रहते हैं या कुछ दाल में काला है?

¹⁶³Are they reforming themselves day by day or is there still something wrong?

¹⁵⁰कोई चलते-चलते पढ़ाई छोड़ देते हैं।

¹⁶⁴While moving along, some stop studying.

¹⁵¹बाबा कहते हैं यह क्या, भगवान् तुमको पढ़ाते हैं भगवान भगवती बनाने, ऐसी पढ़ाई तुम छोड़ देते हो!

¹⁶⁵Baba says: What is this? ¹⁶⁶God is teaching you in order to make you into gods and goddesses and yet you stop studying.

¹⁵²अरे!

¹⁶⁷Oho!

¹⁵³वर्ल्ड गॉड फादर पढ़ाते हैं, इसमें अबसेन्ट!

¹⁶⁸The World Godfather is teaching you, and you remain absent!

¹⁵⁴माया कितनी प्रबल है।

¹⁶⁹Maya is very powerful.

¹⁵⁵फर्स्टक्लास पढ़ाई से तुम्हारा मुख मोड़ देती है।

²⁰⁶इस बन्धन से वा रॉयल हिसाब-किताब से भी मुक्त निःस्वार्थ सेवाधारी बनो।
