¹⁷⁷Worldly knowledge is like paraffin or kerosene, whereas this knowledge is like real ghee (purified butter).

¹⁷⁸There is the difference of day and night.

¹⁸⁵raavan raajya mein tumko ghaaslet khaana padta hai।

¹⁷⁹In the kingdom of Ravan, you have to eat oil.

¹⁸⁶aage itna sasta sachcha ghi milta tha, phir mahanga ho gaya to ghaaslet (tel) khaana pada।

¹⁸⁰Earlier, ghee was pure and cheap but it has now become expensive and so you have to eat oil.

¹⁸⁷yeh gas, bijli aadi pahle kuchh bhi nahin tha।

¹⁸¹Gas and electricity didn’t exist previously.

¹⁸⁸thode hi varshon mein kitna farka pada hai।

¹⁸²So many things have changed in the last few years.

¹⁸⁹abhi tum jaante ho sab khatma hone vaala hai।

¹⁸³You know that all this is now to be destroyed.

¹⁹⁰shivbaaba humein lakshmi-naaraayan jaisa banne ke liye padha rahe hain।

¹⁸⁴Shiv Baba is teaching us in order to make us become like Lakshmi and Narayan.

¹⁹⁵baba jaante hain jo jo haddi service karte hain vahi mahaaraajkumaar banenge।

¹⁹⁶tumko yeh nasha kyon nahin rehta hai?

¹⁹⁹kabhi to service mein uchhal padte, kabhi "nde ho jaate।

¹⁹³Sometimes, you have great enthusiasm for doing service, whereas at other times you become slack.

²⁰⁰yeh har ek apne se poochho - aisa hota hai na।

¹⁹⁴Each of you can ask yourself to see if this is what happens.

²⁰¹kabhi-kabhi bhoolen bhi ho jaati hai, isliye baba samjhaate hain।

¹⁹⁵Sometimes, you make mistakes and this is why Baba has to explain to you.

²⁰²jabaan badi meethi chaahiye, sabko raazi karna hai।

¹⁹⁶You have to speak very sweetly and make everyone happy.

²¹¹jo kaam vikaar ko jeetenge vahi pavitra duniya ka maalik banenge।

²²⁴saadhaaran aatma koi bhi karma deh-abhimaani hokar karegi aur vishesh aatma dehi-abhimaani bankar karegi।

²¹⁷Ordinary souls will perform any act while being body conscious, whereas special souls will perform every act in soul consciousness.
