²महाशिवरात्रि मनाना अर्थात् प्रतिज्ञा करना,व्रत लेना और बलि चढ़ना

¹To celebrate Maha Shiv Ratri means to make a promise, to hold a fast and to sacrifice yourself.

³ज्योति बिन्दु शिव बाबा ज्योति बिन्दु सालिग्रामों प्रति बोले ः ⁴आज दिव्य महाज्योति बाप अपने ज्योतिबिन्दु बच्चों से मिल रहे हैं।

²Today, the Father, the Great Divine Light (Divya Maha Jyoti) is meeting His children who are points of light (jyoti bindu).

⁵बापदादा भी महान ज्योति हैं और आप बच्चे भी महान ज्योति स्वरूप हो।

³BapDada is the Great Light and you children are also the form of great light.

⁶तो दिव्य ज्योति बाप दिव्य ज्योति आत्माओं से मिल रहे हैं।

⁴So the Father, the Divine Light is meeting the souls who are divine lights.

⁷यह महान ज्योति कितनी प्यारी और न्यारी है!

⁵This Great Light is so lovely and unique.

⁸बापदादा हर एक के मस्तक के बीच चमकती हुई ज्योति को देख रहे हैं।

⁶BapDada is seeing the light that is sparkling in the middle of the forehead of each of you.

⁹कितना दिव्य और प्यारा नज़ारा है।

⁷This is such a divine and lovely scene.

¹⁰चमकते हुए रूहानी सितारों का कितना अच्छा संगठन देख रहे हैं।

⁸Baba is seeing such a beautiful gathering of the sparkling spiritual stars.

¹¹इस रूहानी ज्योतिर्मय सितारों का मण्डल अलौकिक और अति सुन्दर है।

⁹The constellation of these spiritual stars of light is alokik and extremely beautiful.

¹²आप सभी भी इस दिव्य तारा मण्डल में अपना चमकता हुआ बिन्दु स्वरूप देख रहे हो?

¹⁰Are all of you also seeing your sparkling form of a point of light in this constellation of divine stars?

¹³यही महाशिवरात्रि है।

¹¹This is the Maha Shiv Ratri.

¹⁴शिव ज्योति के साथ आप अनेक ज्योतिबिन्दु सालिग्राम हो।

¹²Together with Shiv Jyoti, there are all you innumerable jyoti bindus, the saligrams.

¹⁵बाप भी महान, बच्चे भी महान हैं।

¹³The Father is great and the children are also great.

¹⁶इसलिए महाशिवरात्रि गाई जा रही है।

¹⁴This is why Maha Shiv Ratri is remembered.

¹⁷कितनी श्रेष्ठ भाग्यवान आत्माएं हो! ¹⁸जो चैतन्य साकार स्वरूप में शिव बाप के साथ शिवरात्रि मना रहे हो।

¹⁵You are such fortunate and elevated souls that you are celebrating Shiv Ratri in the living form, in the corporeal form with Father Shiva.

¹⁹ऐसे कभी संकल्प में,स्वप्न में भी नहीं सोचते थे कि ऐसी अलौकिक शिवरात्रि मनाने वाले हम सालिग्राम आत्माएं हैं।

¹⁶Never in your thoughts or even in your dreams did you think that you are the saligram souls who would celebrate such an alokik Shiv Ratri.

²⁰आप सब चैतन्य रूप में मनाते हो।

¹⁷All of you celebrate it in the living form.

²¹उसका ही यादगार अब भक्तों द्वारा ज़ड-चतत्र में चैतन्य भावना से मनाने का देख रहे हो।

¹⁸You now see the memorial of this in the form of the devotees who celebrate it with real feeling for the non­living images.

²²सच्चे भक्त चित्र में भावना से, भावना स्वरूप अनुभव करते और आप सालि-ग्राम आत्माएं सम्मुख मनाने वाली हो।

¹⁹Because of their true love, true devotees experience a form of love from the images whereas you saligram souls are those who personally celebrate with Baba.

²³तो कितना भाग्य है!

²⁰So, how great your fortune is!

²⁴पद्म, अरब,खरब यह भी आपके भाग्य के सामने कुछ नहीं है।

²¹Millions, multimillions, or multibillions are nothing compared to your fortune!

²⁵इसलिए सभी बच्चे निश्चय के फलक से कहते हैं - हमने देखा, हमने पाया।

²²This is why all of you children say with the sparkle of faith: We saw and we attained.

²⁶यह गीत सभी का है या कोई-कोई का है?

²³Is this the song of all of you or only of some of you?

²⁷सभी गाते हैं ना?

²⁴Do all of you sing this?

²⁸वा यह गाते हो कि देख लेंगे, पा लेंगे?

²⁵Or, do you sing: We will see, we will attain at some point?

²⁹पा लिया है वा पाना है?

²⁶Have you attained or have you yet to attain?

³⁰डबल विदेशी क्या समझते हैं पा लिया है?

²⁷Do the double foreigners think that they have attained?

³¹बापको देखा भी है ना?

²⁸You have seen the Father, have you not?

³²दिल से कहते हो कि बाप को देखा है, पाया है।

²⁹You say with your heart that you have seen the Father and found Him.

³³देखना और पाना तो क्या लेकिन बाप को अपना बना लिया है।

³⁰Let alone having seen Him and found Him, you have made Him belong to you.

³⁴बाप आपको हो गया है ना।

³¹The Father now belongs to you, does He not?

³⁵देखो, आपको बाप हो गया तब तो आपके कहने से बाप आ जाते है ना।

³²Look, the Father belongs to you, and this is why He comes when you tell Him to.

³⁶तो अधिकारी बन गये ना।

³³So, you are those who have a right, are you not?

³⁷महाशिवरात्रि की क्या विशेषताएं हैं?

³⁴What are the specialities of Maha Shiv Ratri?

³⁸एक तो बाप के आगे प्रतिज्ञा करते हैं और दूसरा बाप के प्यार में व्रत रखते हैं। ³⁹क्योंकि प्यार और खुशी में सब भूल जाते हैं इसलिए व्रत रखते हैं।

³⁵Firstly, you make a promise to the Father. ³⁶Secondly, you hold a fast out of love for the Father because out of love and happiness you forget everything. ³⁷This is why you hold a fast.

⁴⁰खुशी की खुराक खा लेते तो दूसरी खुराक की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है।

³⁸You eat the nourishment of happiness, and so there is no need for any other nourishment.

⁴¹मिलन की खुशी के कारण व्रत रखते हैं।

³⁹You hold a fast because of the happiness of celebrating a meeting.

⁴²व्रत खुशी की भी निशानी है और व्रत रखना अर्थात् प्यार में त्याग-भावना।

⁴⁰To hold a fast is a sign of happiness, and to hold a fast also means to have the feeling of renunciation out of love.

⁴³कुछ छोड़ना अर्थात् त्याग भावना की निशानी है।

⁴¹To give up something is a sign of the feeling of renunciation.

⁴⁴तीसरी बात - शिवरात्रि अर्थात् बलि चढ़ना।

⁴²Thirdly, Shiv Ratri means to sacrifice yourself.

⁴⁵यादगार रूप में तो स्थूल बलि चढ़ाते हैं लेकिन होना,मन, बुद्धि और सम्बन्ध से समर्पित होना - यह है वास्तविक बलि चढ़ना।

⁴³As a memorial, people offer a physical sacrifice. ⁴⁴However, it is to surrender yourself with your mind, intellect and relationships – this is the true sacrifice.

⁴⁶तो ये तीनों ही विशेषताएं महाशिवरात्रि की विशेषताएं हैं।

⁴⁵So these 3 specialities are the specialities of Maha Shiv Ratri.

⁴⁷शिवरात्रि मनाना अर्थात् यह तीनों विशेषताएं प्रैक्टिकल जीवन में लाना। ⁴⁸सिर्फ कहना नहीं लेकिन करना।

⁴⁶To celebrate Shiv Ratri means to put these 3 specialities into your practical life, not just to speak about it, but to do it.

⁴⁹कहना और करना सदा समान हो।

⁴⁷Your speaking and your doing should always be equal.

⁵⁰बापदादा ने बच्चों की खुशखबारी का समाचार भी सुना कि चाहे भारत के बच्चों ने, चाहे डबल विदेशी बच्चों ने, सभी ने महाशिवरात्रि का प्रैक्टिकल स्वरूप प्रतिज्ञा की है।

⁴⁸BapDada also heard the good news of the children, and how all of them, both the children of Bharat and the double­foreign children, all of them, made a promise in a practical form for Maha Shiv Ratri.

⁵¹तो प्रतिज्ञा अर्थात् कहना और करना दोनों समान।

⁴⁹A promise means your speaking and doing are both equal.

⁵²बहुत अच्छी बात है - सभी ने पहले बापदादा को सबसे बड़े ते बड़ा बर्थ डे का गिफ्ट प्रतिज्ञा अर्थात् श्रेष्ठ संकल्प का दिया है।

⁵⁰It is very good. ⁵¹First of all, all of you gave BapDada your promise and your elevated thought as the greatest gift for His birthday.

⁵³तो बापदादा भी सभी बच्चों के गिफ्ट की थैंक्स दे रहे हैं।

⁵²So BapDada is also giving thanks to all the children for their gift.

⁵⁴गिफ्ट में दी हुई प्रतिज्ञा सदा स्मृति से समर्थ बनाती रहेगी।

⁵³The promise you made as a gift will constantly continue to make you powerful in your awareness.

⁵⁵पहले से ही यह नहीं सोचो कि प्रतिज्ञा करते तो हैं लेकिन पता नहीं चल सकें या नहीं! ⁵⁶निभा सकें या नहीं निभा सकें!

⁵⁴Do not think in advance: I am making a promise, but I don't know whether I will be able to continue or not, whether I will be able to fulfil it or not.

⁵⁷यह सोचना अर्थात् कमज़ोरी को आह्वाहन करना।

⁵⁵To think in this way means to invoke weakness.

⁵⁸तो कमज़ोरी अर्थात् माया तो जब स्वयं ही आह्वाहन कर रहे हो तो वह कमज़ोरी पहले ही तैयार रहती है आने के लिए।

⁵⁶Weakness means Maya. ⁵⁷When you yourself invoke it, then the weakness is ready in advance to come.

⁵⁹यह ता आप उसको निमन्त्रण दे रहे हो।

⁵⁸You yourself are inviting her to come.

⁶⁰इसलिए कोई भी संकल्प वा कर्म करते हो तो समर्थ स्थिति में स्थित हो समर्थी से करो।

⁵⁹Therefore, when you create a thought or perform any action, stabilize yourself in a powerful stage, and do it with power.

⁶¹कम-ज़ोर संकल्प मिक्स नहीं करो।

⁶⁰Do not mix in weak thoughts.

⁶²यह श्रेष्ठ संकल्प रखो कि हिम्मत हमारी,अटेन्शन हमारा और मदद बाप की है ही है।

⁶¹Have the elevated thought: If I have courage and attention, I will definitely receive help from the Father.

⁶³इस विधि से प्रतिज्ञा प्रैक्टिकल में लाने में बहुत सहज अनुभव करेंगे।

⁶²By putting your promise into a practical form in this way, you will experience everything to be easy.

⁶⁴सदैव यह सोचो अनेक कल्प की विजयी आत्मा मैं हूँ।

⁶³Always think that you are a victorious soul of many cycles.

⁶⁵विजय की खुशी, विजय का नशा शक्तिशाली बना देगा।

⁶⁴The happiness of victory and the intoxication of victory will make you powerful.

⁶⁶विजय आप ब्राह्मण आत्माओं के लिए सदा साथी बन बंधी हुई है और कहाँ जायेगी?

⁶⁵Victory is tied to you Brahmin souls as your constant companion. ⁶⁶Where else can it go?

⁶⁷सिवाए पाण्डवों के,विजय ने किस को साथ दिया? ⁶⁸वही पाण्डव हो ना!

⁶⁷Did victory accompany anyone except the Pandavas?

⁶⁹जब बाप साथी है तो विजय भी आपकी साथी है।

⁶⁸You are those same Pandavas, are you not?

⁷⁰सदा अपने मस्तक पर विजय का तिलक लगा हुआ ही है यह देखो।

⁶⁹Since the Father is your Companion, victory is also your companion.

⁷¹जो प्रभु के गले का हार बन गये,उनकी हार कभी हो नहीं सकती।

⁷⁰Continually check that the tilak of victory is always on your forehead.

⁷²सम्पूर्ण विजयी के रूप में अपना यादगार विजय माला देख रहे हो ना?

⁷¹Those who have become the garland (haar) around God’s neck can never be defeated (haar).

⁷³ऐसे तो गायन नहीं है ना - विजय और हार माला है! ⁷⁴नहीं, विजय माला है। ⁷⁵विजयी मणके तो आप हो ना!

⁷²You are seeing your memorial as a completely victorious soul in the form of the rosary of victory, are you not?

⁷⁶तो विजयी माला के मणके कभी हार नहीं खा सकते।

⁷³There isn't the praise of the rosary of victory and defeat.

⁷⁷हर एक ने जो संकल्प किया बाप-दादा ने सारी सीन देखी।

⁷⁴No, it is the rosary of victory. ⁷⁵So you are the victorious beads, are you not?

⁷⁸अच्छे उमंग-उत्साह से, खुशी-खुशी से प्रतिज्ञा ली है।

⁷⁶So the beads of the rosary of victory can never be defeated.

⁷⁹और आप चैतन्य सालिग्रामों ने प्रतिज्ञा ली है इस-लिए तो भक्त भी उसका यादगारा मनाते रहते हैं।

⁷⁷So whatever thought each of you had, BapDada saw the entire scene. ⁷⁸You made a promise with good zeal and enthusiasm in great happiness.

⁸⁰(तपस्या के संबंध से कल सभी ने 56 वीं शिव जयन्ती पर 56प्रतिज्ञायें की हैं।

⁷⁹All of you living saligrams have made a promise, and so the devotees also celebrate the memorial of that. ⁸⁰Achcha.

⁸¹) ⁸²बलि चढ़ चुके।

⁸¹Have you sacrificed yourselves?

⁸³बलि चढ़ना अर्थात् महाबलवान बनना।

⁸²To sacrifice yourself means to have great strength.

⁸⁴बलि किसकी चढ़ाते हैं?

⁸³What do you offer as a sacrifice?

⁸⁵कमज़ोरियों की।

⁸⁴Weaknesses.

⁸⁶जब कमज़ोरियों की बलि चढ़ा दी तो क्या बन गये? ⁸⁷महाबलवान।

⁸⁵When you have sacrificed all your weaknesses, what do you become?

⁸⁸सबसे बड़ी कमज़ोरी है देह अभिमान।

⁸⁶You become someone with great strength.

⁸⁹देह-भान समर्पित करना अर्थात् उनके वंश को भी सम-ार्पित किया। ⁹⁰क्योंकि देह-अभिमान का सूक्ष्म वंश बहुत बड़ा है।

⁸⁷The greatest weakness is body consciousness. ⁸⁸To surrender body consciousness means to surrender even its progeny, because the subtle progeny of body consciousness is so huge.

⁹¹अनेक प्रकार के छोटे बड़े देह-भान है।

⁸⁹There are many little and large forms of body consciousness.

⁹²तो देह-भान की बलि चढ़ाना अर्थात् वंश सहित समर्पित होना।

⁹⁰So to sacrifice body consciousness means to surrender it with its progeny.

⁹³अंश भी नहीं रखना।

⁹¹You must not even keep the slightest trace of it.

⁹⁴अंशमात्र भी अगर रह गया तो बार-बार चुम्बक की तरह खींचता रहेगा। ⁹⁵आपको पता भी नहीं पड़ेगा।

⁹²If even the slightest trace of it remains, it will repeatedly pull you like a magnet and you will not even know about it.

⁹⁶न चाहते भी चुम्बक अपने तरफ खींच लेगा।

⁹³Against your wish, the magnet will pull you towards itself.

⁹⁷ऐसे नहीं समझना - ऐसे कोई समाय के लिए यह देह अभिमान का कोई प्रकार काम में लाने के लिए किनारा करके रखें।

⁹⁴Do not think that you should put some form of body consciousness aside to use at some time later on.

⁹⁸फिर क्या कहते हैं - इसके बिना काम नहीं चलता।

⁹⁵What do you then say? ⁹⁶That you cannot do anything without it.

⁹⁹काम चलता है लेकिन थोड़े समय की विजय दिखाई देती है।

⁹⁷Of course you can, but then victory is only visible for a temporary period.

¹⁰⁰अभिमान को स्वमान समझ लेते हो।

⁹⁸You consider arrogance (abhimaan) to be self­respect (Swaman).

¹⁰¹लेकिन इस अल्पकाल की विजय में बहुत काल की हार समायी हुई है।

⁹⁹However, in this temporary victory, defeat is merged for a long period of time.

¹⁰²और जिसको थोड़े समय की हार समझते हो वो सदा काल की विजय प्राप्त कराती है।

¹⁰⁰That which you consider to be defeat for a short period of time enables you to claim victory for all time.

¹⁰³इसलिए देह अभिमान के अंशमात्र सहित समर्पित हो - इसको कहा जाता है शिव बाप के ऊपर बलि चढ़ना अर्थात् महाबलवान बनना।

¹⁰¹Therefore, to surrender body consciousness with all its traces, too, is called sacrificing oneself to Father Shiva, that is, to become someone with great strength.

¹⁰⁴ऐसी शिवरात्रि मनाई है ना?

¹⁰²You have celebrated such a Shiv Ratri, have you not?

¹⁰⁵यह व्रत धारण करना है।

¹⁰³You have to imbibe this fast.

¹⁰⁶वे लोग तो स्थूल चीजों का व्रत रखते हैं लेकिन आप क्या व्रत लेते हो?

¹⁰⁴Those people hold a fast of physical things, but what fast do you observe?

¹⁰⁷श्रेष्ठ वृत्ति द्वारा यह व्रत लेते हो कि सदा कमज़ोर वृत्ति को मिटाए,शुभ और श्रेष्ठ वृत्ति धारण करेंगे।

¹⁰⁵Through your elevated attitude, you hold a fast that you will constantly finish the weak attitude and adopt a pure and elevated attitude.

¹⁰⁸जब वृत्ति में श्रेष्ठता है तो सृष्टि श्रेष्ठ ही नज़र आयेगी। ¹⁰⁹क्योंकि वृत्ति से दृष्टि और कृति का कनेक्शन है।

¹⁰⁶When your attitude is elevated, the world will also be seen as elevated, because your attitude has a connection with your vision and actions.

¹¹⁰कोई भी अच्छी वा बुरी बात पहले वृत्ति में धारण होती है फिर वाणी और कर्म में आती है।

¹⁰⁷Anything good or bad is first instilled into your attitude, and then it enters your words and actions.

¹¹¹वृत्ति श्रेष्ठ होना अर्थात् वाणी और कर्म स्वतः श्रेष्ठ होना।

¹⁰⁸For your attitude to be elevated, means your words and actions will automatically be elevated.

¹¹²आपकी विशेष सेवा विश्व-परिवर्तन की भी शुभ वृत्ति से है।

¹⁰⁹Your special service of world transformation is also brought about through having a pure attitude.

¹¹³वृत्ति से वायब्रेशन,वायुमण्डल बनाते हो।

¹¹⁰You create the vibrations and the atmosphere through your attitude.

¹¹⁴तो श्रेष्ठ वृत्ति का यह व्रत धारण करना - यही शिवरात्रि मनाना है।

¹¹¹To imbibe this fast of an elevated attitude is to celebrate Shiv Ratri.

¹¹⁵यह तो सुन लिया ना कि मनाना अर्थात् बनना,कहना अर्थात् करना।

¹¹²You have already heard that to celebrate means to become; to speak about something means to do it practically.

¹¹⁶जो सिद्धि प्राप्त आत्मायें होती हैं जिसको लोगों की भाषा में सिद्ध पुरूष कहा जाता है और आप कहेंगे सिद्धि स्वरूप आत्मा - तो उन्हों क हर संकल्प अपने प्रति या दूसरों के प्रति जो भी करते हैं वह कर्म में सिद्ध हो जाते हैं, जो बोल बोलते है वह सिद्ध हो जाता है।

¹¹³In the language of other people, those souls who have attained success are called successful beings, and you call them the souls who are embodiments of success. ¹¹⁴So whatever thoughts they create for themselves or for others take practical shape in their actions. ¹¹⁵Whatever words they speak take on a practical form. ¹¹⁶You call this 'sat vachan', the true versions that take on a practical form.

¹¹⁷जिसको कहते हैं सत-वचन। ¹¹⁸तो सबसे बड़े ते बड़ी सिद्धि स्वरूप आत्माएं आप हो ना।

¹¹⁷So, you are the greatest souls who are embodiments of success, are you not?

¹¹⁹तो संकल्प और बोल सिद्ध होंगे ना, सिद्ध होना अर्थत सफल होना।

¹¹⁸So your words and thoughts will become true, will they not? ¹¹⁹To become true means for them to be worthwhile.

¹²⁰प्रत्यक्ष स्वरूप में आना यह है सिद्ध होना।

¹²⁰For them to take on a practical form means for them to be worthwhile.

¹²¹तो सदैव यह स्मृति में रखो कि हम सभी सिद्धि स्वरूप आत्माएं हैं।

¹²¹So always have the consciousness that you are the souls who are embodiments of success.

¹²²हम सिद्धि स्वरूप आत्माओं का हर संकल्प, बोल,हर कर्म स्वयं को वा सर्व को सिद्धि प्राप्त होने वाला हो। ¹²³व्यर्थ नहीं।

¹²²Therefore, every thought, every word and every action of you souls who are embodiments of success enables you and others to attain success.

¹²⁴कहा और किया तो सिद्ध हुआ।

¹²³They are not wasteful.

¹²⁵कहा, सोचा और किया नहीं तो वह व्यर्थ गया।

¹²⁴If you do something as soon as you say it, it is worthwhile.

¹²⁶कई ऐसे सोचते हैं कि हमारे संकल्प बहुत अच्छे चलते हैं, बहुत अच्छे-अच्छे विचार उमंग आते हैं, अपने प्रति या सेवा के प्रति, लेकिन संकल्प तक ही रह जाते हैं। ¹²⁷प्रैक्टिकल कर्म में, स्वरूप में नहीं आते है।

¹²⁵If you said something and thought about it, but did not do it, it became wasteful. ¹²⁶Some think that they have very good thoughts and very good ideas, that they have very good enthusiasm for the self and for service. ¹²⁷However, it only remains in their thoughts; it does not come into their practical actions, in a practical way.

¹²⁸तो इसको क्या कहेंगे?

¹²⁸So what would you call that?

¹²⁹संकल्प बहुत अच्छे है लेकिन कर्म में अन्तर क्यों?

¹²⁹They have very good thoughts, but why is there a difference in their action?

¹³⁰इसका कारण क्या है?

¹³⁰What is the reason for this?

¹³¹अगर बीज बहुत अच्छा है लेकिन फल अच्छा नहीं निकले तो क्या कहेंगे?

¹³¹If a seed is very good, but the fruit that emerges from it is not good, what would you say?

¹³²धरनी या परहेज की कमी है।

¹³²That something is lacking in the earth or in the care of it.

¹³³ऐसे ही संकल्प रूपी बीज अच्छा है।

¹³³In the same way, the seed of the thought is good.

¹³⁴बापदादा के पास संकल्प पहुँचते हैं।

¹³⁴The thoughts reach BapDada.

¹³⁵बापदादा भी खुश होते हैं - बहुत अच्छा बीज बोया है, बहुत अच्छा संकल्प किया है, अभी फल मिला कि मिला।

¹³⁵BapDada also becomes happy that you have sown a very good seed, that you have had a very good thought and that you are now about to receive the fruit.

¹³⁶लेकिन होता क्या है?

¹³⁶However, what happens instead?

¹³⁷दृढ़ धारण की धरनी की कमी और बार-बार अटेन्शन के परहेज की कमी।

¹³⁷You lack the earth of determination and the precaution of repeatedly paying attention.

¹³⁸बापदादा हँसी का खेल देखते रहते हैं।

¹³⁸BapDada continues to watch the amusing games.

¹³⁹जैसे बच्चे लोगे गैस का गुब्बारा उड़ाते हैं ना, बहुत अच्छी गैस भरकर उड़ाते हैं और खुश होते हैं, गुब्बारा ऊपर गया, बहुत अच्छा उड़ रहा है। ¹⁴⁰लेकिन चलते-चलते नीचे आ जाता है। ¹⁴¹तो कभी भी पुरूषार्थ में निराश नहीं बनो।

¹⁴⁸अभिमान भी नहीं, निराशा भी नहीं।

¹⁴⁷Do not have any arrogance, and do not become disheartened.

¹⁴⁹कोई अभिमान में आ जाते हैं, कोई निराशा में आ जाते हैं।

¹⁴⁸Some become arrogant and some become disheartened.

¹⁵⁰यह दोनों महाबलवान बनने नहीं देते हैं।

¹⁴⁹Neither of these allows you to become one with great strength.

¹⁵¹जहाँ अभिमान होता है वहाँ अपमान की फीलिंग भी ज्यादा आती है।

¹⁵⁰Wherever there is arrogance, there is a greater feeling of insult.

¹⁵²कभी अभिमान में, कभी अपमान में - दोनों से खेलते रहते हैं।

¹⁵¹Sometimes there is arrogance and sometimes there is insult: you continue to play with both of these.

¹⁵³जहाँ अभिमान नहीं होगा उसको अपमान भी अपमान नहीं लगेगा।

¹⁵²Where someone hasn't any arrogance, if that one is insulted, he will not feel it to be an insult.

¹⁵⁴वह सदा निर्मान और निर्माण के कार्य में बिज़ी रहेगा।

¹⁵³He will always remain humble and busy in the task of renewal.

¹⁵⁵जो निर्मान होता है वही निर्माण कर सकता है।

¹⁵⁴Only those who are humble can renew something.

¹⁵⁶तो शिवरात्रि मनाना अर्थात् निर्मान बन निर्माण करने के कर्तव्य में लगना।

¹⁵⁵To celebrate Shiv Ratri means to be humble and to engage yourself in the task of renewal. ¹⁵⁶Do you understand?

¹⁵⁷समझा! ¹⁵⁸तो आज सभी अपने दिल पर श्रेष्ठ संकल्प की डोरी द्वारा विजय का झण्डा लहराओ।

¹⁵⁷So, today, all of you should hoist the flag of victory with the rope of elevated thought in your heart.

¹⁵⁹यह झण्डा लहराना ब्राह्मणों की सेवा की रसम है, विधि है।

¹⁵⁸To hoist a physical flag is a system or method of service for Brahmins.

¹⁶⁰लेकिन साथ-साथ सदा विजय का झण्डा लहराता रहे।

¹⁵⁹However, as well as this, let the flag of victory also be constantly flying.

¹⁶¹कोई भी दुःख की बात होती है तो झण्डा नीचे कर देते हैं लेकिन आपका झण्डा कभी नीचे नहीं हो सकता।

¹⁶⁰When something sorrowful happens, the flag is brought down, but your flag can never come down. ¹⁶¹It is constantly high.

¹⁶²सदा ऊंचा। ¹⁶³तो ऐसा झण्डा लहरायेंगे ना?

¹⁶²So, you will hoist such a flag, will you not?

¹⁶⁴अच्छा - तपस्या वर्ष की रिजल्ट भी मिली।

¹⁶⁷मैजारिटी चारों ओर की रिजल्ट से यह दिखाई दिया क इस तपस्य वर्ष ने सबको स्व के पुरूषार्थ के प्रति अटेन्शन अच्छा खिंचवाया है। ¹⁶⁸जब अटेन्शन गया तो टेन्शन भी चला ही जायेगा ना!

¹⁶⁶From the result of the majority everywhere, it has been seen that the Year of Tapasya has drawn everyone's attention to the effort of the self very well. ¹⁶⁷Since your attention has been drawn, tension will go away, will it not? ¹⁶⁸So, the total result of many of you is good.

¹⁷⁰सेकेण्ड नम्बर मेजोरिटी है। ¹⁷¹थर्ड भी है लेकिन फर्स्ट और चौथा नम्बर कम है।

¹⁷⁸बाकी अब प्राइज़ तो दादियाँ देंगी, बाप ने सबको बहुत-अच्छे,बहुत-अच्छे की प्राइज दे दी।
