¹“मीठे बच्चे - तुम्हारा अव्यभिचारी प्यार एक बाप के साथ तब जुट सकता है जब बुद्धियोग देह सहित देह के सब सम्बन्धों से टूटा हुआ हो''

¹Essence: Sweet children, unadulterated love for the one Father can be forged when your intellects’ yoga is broken away from your bodies and all bodily relations.

²प्रश्न:- तुम बच्चों की रेस कौन-सी है? ³उस रेस में आगे जाने का आधार क्या है?

²Question: What race do you children have? ³What is the basis of going ahead in that race?

⁴उत्तर:- तुम्हारी रेस है “पास विद् आनर बनने की'' इस रेस का आधार है बुद्धियोग।

⁴Answer: Your race is to pass with honours. ⁵The basis of this race is your intellects’ yoga. ⁶The more your intellects’ yoga is connected to the Father, the more your sins will be cut away.

⁵बुद्धियोग जितना बाप के साथ होगा उतना पाप कटेंगे और अटल, अखण्ड, सुख-शान्तिमय 21 जन्म का राज्य प्राप्त होगा।

⁷You will then attain the unshakeable kingdom of constant peace and happiness for 21 births.

⁶इसके लिए बाप राय देते हैं - बच्चे, नींद को जीतने वाले बनो।

⁸For that, the Father advises you: Children, become conquerors of sleep.

⁷एक घड़ी, आधी घड़ी भी याद में रहते-रहते अभ्यास बढ़ाते जाओ।

⁹Stay in remembrance for an hour or half an hour and continue to increase this practice.

⁸याद का ही रिकार्ड रखो।

¹⁰Keep your record of remembrance.

⁹गीत:- न वह हमसे जुदा होंगे, न उलफत दिल से निकलेगी…

¹¹Song: Neither will He be separated from us, nor will our love (ulfat) for Him be removed from our hearts.

¹⁰ओम् शान्ति।

¹²Om shanti.

¹¹बच्चों ने गीत सुना। ¹²उल़फत कहा जाता है प्यार को, अब तुम बच्चों का प्यार बांधा हुआ है बेहद के बाप शिव के साथ।

¹³You children heard the song. ‘Ulfat’ is another name for love. ¹⁴The love of you children is now tied to unlimited Father Shiva.

¹³तुम बी.के. उनको दादा कहेंगे।

¹⁵You BKs call Him Dada.

¹⁴ऐसे कोई मनुष्य नहीं होगा जो अपने बापदादा के आक्यूपेशन को न जानता हो।

¹⁶There is no human being who doesn’t know the occupations of his Bap-Dada (his father and his grandfather).

¹⁵ऐसी कोई संस्था नहीं जहाँ इतने ढेर के ढेर कहें कि हम ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारी हैं।

¹⁷There is no other organisation where so many of them say that they are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.

¹⁶मातायें तो कुमारी नहीं हैं फिर ब्रह्माकुमारी क्यों कहलाती हैं?

¹⁸Mothers are not kumaris, so why do you call yourselves Brahma Kumaris?

¹⁷यह तो हैं ब्रह्मा मुख वंशावली।

¹⁹You are the mouth-born creation of Brahma.

¹⁸इतने ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारियां हैं प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा की मुख वंशावली।

²⁰All of you Brahma Kumars and Kumaris are the mouth-born creation of Prajapita Brahma.

¹⁹एक बाप की बच्चियां हैं।

²¹You are all the daughters of the one father.

²⁰ब्रह्मा के आक्यूपेशन को भी जानना है।

²²You also have to know the occupation of Brahma.

²¹ब्रह्मा किसका बच्चा है?

²³Whose child is Brahma? ²⁴Shiva's.

²²शिव का। ²³शिव के तीन बच्चे ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, शंकर सूक्ष्मवतन वासी हैं।

²⁵Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar are the three children of Shiva and they are residents of the subtle region.

²⁴अब प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा तो स्थूलवतन वासी होना चाहिए।

²⁶However, Prajapita Brahma has to be a resident of the corporeal world.

²⁵इतने सब कहते हैं प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा के मुख वंशावली हैं।

²⁷So many children say that they are the mouth-born creation of Prajapita Brahma.

²⁶कुख वंशावली तो हो न सकें। ²⁷यह कोई गर्भ की पैदाइस नहीं है।

²⁸They cannot be a physical creation; they are not a creation born through a womb.

²⁸और फिर तुमसे पूछते भी नहीं कि इतने सब ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारियां कैसे कहलाते हो?

²⁹People don't even ask how so many of you can be called Brahma Kumars and Kumaris.

²⁹माताएं भी ब्रह्माकुमारियां हैं तो जरूर ब्रह्मा के बच्चे हुए ब्रह्मा के मुख वंशावली।

³⁰You mothers too are called Brahma Kumaris and so you children of Brahma are surely a mouth-born creation.

³⁰यह सब हैं ईश्वर की सन्तान।

³¹All of you are the children of God.

³¹ईश्वर कौन है?

³²Who is God?

³²वह है परमपिता परमात्मा, रचता।

³³He is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, the Creator.

³³किस चीज़ की रचना करते हैं?

³⁴What does He create? ³⁵He creates heaven.

³⁴स्वर्ग की। ³⁵तो जरूर अपने पोत्रे-पोत्रियों को स्वर्ग का वर्सा देते होंगे।

³⁶Therefore, He would definitely give His grandsons and granddaughters the inheritance of heaven.

³⁶उनको शरीर चाहिए जो राजयोग सिखाये।

³⁷He needs a body so that He can teach you Raja Yoga.

³⁷ऐसे थोड़ेही पाग रख देंगे।

³⁸He would not be given this title just like that.

³⁸शिवबाबा बैठ ब्रह्मा मुख वंशावली को फिर से राजयोग सिखलाते हैं क्योंकि फिर से स्वर्ग की स्थापना करते हैं।

³⁹Shiv Baba sits here and once again teaches Raja Yoga to the mouth-born creation of Brahma, because He is establishing heaven once again.

³⁹नहीं तो फिर इतने ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारियां कहाँ से आयें?

⁴⁰Otherwise, where would so many Brahma Kumars and Kumaris come from?

⁴⁰वन्डर है, कोई हिम्मत रख पूछते भी नहीं!

⁴¹It is a wonder that no one has the courage to ask.

⁴¹कितने सेन्टर्स हैं!

⁴²There are so many centres.

⁴²पूछना चाहिए आप हैं कौन, अपना परिचय दो?

⁴³They should ask: Who are you? ⁴⁴Give us your introduction.

⁴³यह तो साफ है प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा के कुमार-कुमारियां और शिव के पोत्रे-पोत्रियां हैं।

⁴⁵It is clear that you are the sons and daughters of Prajapita Brahma and the grandsons and granddaughters of Shiva.

⁴⁴हम उनके बच्चे बने हैं।

⁴⁶We have become His children. ⁴⁷We love Him.

⁴⁵उनसे हमारा प्यार है। ⁴⁶शिवबाबा भी कहते हैं सबसे प्यार अथवा बुद्धियोग हटाए मुझ एक के साथ रखो।

⁴⁸Shiv Baba also says: Remove your love, that is, your intellects’ yoga from everyone else and connect it to Me alone.

⁴⁷मैं तुमको ब्रह्मा द्वारा राजयोग सिखला रहा हूँ ना और तुम ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारी सुन रहे हो ना।

⁴⁹I am teaching you Raja Yoga through Brahma and you Brahma Kumars and Kumaris are listening to Me.

⁴⁸कितनी सहज सीधी सी बात है।

⁵⁰This is something so easy and straightforward.

⁴⁹पूछो तो सही।

⁵¹At least ask!

⁵⁰तो यह हो गई गऊशाला।

⁵²Therefore, this is the cowshed.

⁵¹शास्त्रों में ब्रह्मा की गऊशाला भी गाई हुई है।

⁵³The cowshed of Brahma has been remembered in the scriptures.

⁵²वास्तव में शिवबाबा की गऊशाला है, शिवबाबा इस नंदीगण में आता है तो गऊशाला अक्षर के कारण शास्त्रों में फिर गऊ आदि दिखा दी है।

⁵⁴In fact, it is Shiv Baba's cowshed. ⁵⁵Shiv Baba enters this Nandigan (bull), but because of the word ‘cowshed’, they have shown a cow in the scriptures.

⁵³शिव जयन्ती है तो जरूर शिव आया होगा।

⁵⁶Since there is Shiva’s birthday (Jayanti), Shiva must definitely have come.

⁵⁴जरूर किसी तन में आया होगा।

⁵⁷He would definitely have entered the body of someone.

⁵⁵तुम जानते हो यह गॉड फादर का स्कूल है।

⁵⁸You know that this is the school of God, the Father.

⁵⁶शिव भगवानुवाच।

⁵⁹God Shiva speaks.

⁵⁷ज्ञान सागर पतित-पावन वह है।

⁶⁰He is the Ocean of Knowledge and the Purifier.

⁵⁸श्रीकृष्ण तो स्वयं पावन है, उनको क्या पड़ी है जो पतित तन में आये।

⁶¹Shri Krishna himself is pure. ⁶²Why would he be concerned about entering an impure body?

⁵⁹गाया भी जाता है दूर देश का रहने वाला आया देश पराये.....।

⁶³It is sung: The Resident of the faraway land came to the foreign land.

⁶⁰शरीर भी पराया है। ⁶¹तो जरूर शिवबाबा ने इनको रचा होगा तब तो मनुष्य सृष्टि रची जाए। ⁶²तो सिद्ध हुआ कि यह बापदादा है।

⁶⁴Even the body is foreign (it doesn't belong to Him). ⁶⁵Therefore, Shiv Baba must surely have created him and that is how the human world was created.

⁶³प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा है आदि देव, महावीर क्योंकि माया पर जीत पाते हैं।

⁶⁶So, this proves that they are BapDada. ⁶⁷Prajapita Brahma is Adi Dev, Mahavir, because he conquers Maya.

⁶⁴जगदम्बा भी गाई हुई है।

⁶⁸Jagadamba is also remembered.

⁶⁵श्री लक्ष्मी भी गाई हुई है।

⁶⁹Shri Lakshmi too is remembered.

⁶⁶दुनिया को पता नहीं कि जगदम्बा कोई ब्रह्मा की बेटी सरस्वती है। ⁶⁷वह भी ब्रह्माकुमारी है।

⁷⁰The world doesn't know that Jagadamba is Saraswati, the daughter of Brahma, a Brahma Kumari.

⁶⁸यह भी ब्रह्माकुमारी है।

⁷¹This one is that Brahma Kumari.

⁶⁹शिवबाबा ने ब्रह्मा मुख से इनको अपना बनाया है।

⁷²Shiv Baba made her belong to Him through the mouth of Brahma.

⁷⁰अब इन सभी के बुद्धि का योग (उल़फत) उनके साथ है।

⁷³The love of all your intellects is now with Him. ⁷⁴It is said: Love God!

⁷¹कहा भी जाता है उल़फत परमात्मा के साथ रखो।

⁷⁵Break it away from everyone else and connect it to the One.

⁷²और सब साथ तोड़ एक साथ जोड़ो। ⁷³वह एक है भगवान्।

⁷⁶That One is God, but they don't know Him.

⁷⁴परन्तु जानते नहीं।

⁷⁷How can they know Him?

⁷⁵जाने भी कैसे? ⁷⁶जब बाप आकर अपना परिचय दे, तब निश्चय हो।

⁷⁸Only when the Father comes and gives His introduction can there be faith.

⁷⁷आजकल तो सिखला दिया है - आत्मा सो परमात्मा..... जिससे संबंध ही टूट गया है।

⁷⁹Nowadays, they have taught everyone that each soul is the Supreme Soul. ⁸⁰Because of this, their relationship has broken.

⁷⁸अब तुम बच्चे वास्तव में सच्ची-सच्ची सत्य नारायण की कथा सुनते हो।

⁸¹You children are now listening to the real story of the true Narayan. ⁸²He is Sukhdev and you are Vyas.

⁷⁹वह है सुखदेव और तुम हो व्यास।

⁸³The name ‘Vyas’ is mentioned in the Gita.

⁸⁰गीता में भी व्यास का नाम है ना।

⁸⁴He was a human being, but you are the true Vyas.

⁸¹वह तो मनुष्य ठहरा। ⁸²परन्तु सच्चे व्यास तुम हो।

⁸⁵The Gita that you create will also be destroyed.

⁸³तुम जो गीता बनाते हो वह भी विनाश हो जायेगी।

⁸⁶It is now that there are the true and false Gitas.

⁸⁴झूठी और सच्ची गीता अभी है।

⁸⁷There is no mention of falsehood in the land of truth.

⁸⁵सचखण्ड में झूठ का नाम नहीं रहता। ⁸⁶तुम वर्सा ले रहे हो दादे से।

⁸⁸You are claiming your inheritance from Dada (Grandfather).

⁸⁷इस बाबा की प्रापर्टी नहीं है।

⁸⁹It is not the property of this Baba.

⁸⁸स्वर्ग का रचता है शिवबाबा, न कि ब्रह्मा।

⁹⁰Shiv Baba, not Brahma, is the Creator of heaven.

⁸⁹ब्रह्मा मनुष्य सृष्टि का रचयिता है।

⁹¹Brahma is the creator of the human world.

⁹⁰ब्रह्मा मुख कमल से ब्राह्मण वर्ण रचा गया।

⁹²The Brahmin clan was created through the lotus mouth of Brahma.

⁹¹तुम हो शिव के पोत्रे अर्थात् ईश्वरीय सम्प्रदाय।

⁹³You are the grandchildren of Shiva, that is, you are the Godly community.

⁹²उनको अपना बनाया है।

⁹⁴He has made you belong to Him.

⁹³गुरू पोत्रे कहलाते हैं ना।

⁹⁵You are called the grandchildren of the Guru.

⁹⁴अब तुम हो सतगुरू पोत्रे और पोत्रियां।

⁹⁶You are now the grandsons and granddaughters of the Satguru.

⁹⁵वह तो सिर्फ पोत्रे हैं अर्थात् मेल्स हैं।

⁹⁷There, there are just grandsons, that is, males.

⁹⁶पोत्रियां हैं नहीं।

⁹⁸There are no granddaughters.

⁹⁷सतगुरू तो एक शिवबाबा है।

⁹⁹Only the one Shiv Baba is the Satguru.

⁹⁸गाया जाता है सतगुरू बिन घोर अन्धियारा।

¹⁰⁰It is said: There is extreme darkness without the Satguru.

⁹⁹तुम्हारा ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारी नाम बड़ा वन्डर-फुल है।

¹⁰¹Your name, Brahma Kumars and Kumaris, is so wonderful.

¹⁰⁰बाप कितना समझाते हैं परन्तु कई बच्चे समझते नहीं।

¹⁰²The Father explains so much, but some children just don’t understand.

¹⁰¹बाप कहते हैं मुझ बेहद के बाप को जानने से तुम सब कुछ जान जायेंगे।

¹⁰³The Father says: By knowing Me, the unlimited Father, you will know everything.

¹⁰²सतयुग-त्रेता में सूर्यवंशी चन्द्रवंशी राज्य था।

¹⁰⁴In the golden and silver ages, there are the sun and moon dynasty kingdoms.

¹⁰³फिर रावण राज्य में ब्रह्मा की रात शुरू होती है।

¹⁰⁵Then, in the kingdom of Ravan, the night of Brahma begins.

¹⁰⁴प्रैक्टिकल में ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारियां तुम हो।

¹⁰⁶You are Brahma Kumars and Kumaris in a practical way.

¹⁰⁵सतयुग को ही स्वर्ग कहा जाता है जहाँ घी दूध की नदी बहती है।

¹⁰⁷Only the golden age is called heaven where rivers of ghee and milk flow.

¹⁰⁶यहाँ तो घी मिलता नहीं।

¹⁰⁸Here, you can’t even obtain ghee.

¹⁰⁷बाप कहते हैं बच्चे यह पुरानी दुनिया अब विनाश होनी है।

¹⁰⁹The Father says: Children, this old world is now to end.

¹⁰⁸एक दिन इस भंभोर को आग लगेगी, सब खत्म हो जायेंगे फिर मेरे से वर्सा तो पा नहीं सकेंगे।

¹¹⁰One day, this haystack will be set on fire and everything will be destroyed.

¹⁰⁹मैं आऊं तो जरूर शरीर का लोन लेना पड़े। ¹¹⁰मकान तो चाहिए ना।

¹¹¹At that time, you won’t be able to receive the inheritance from Me.

¹¹¹बाबा कितना अच्छा, रमणीक रीति से समझाते हैं।

¹¹²When I come, I definitely have to take a body on loan; I need a building.

¹¹²तुम अब मेरे द्वारा सब कुछ जान गये हो।

¹¹³Baba is so good at explaining in such an entertaining way.

¹¹³यह सृष्टि चक्र कैसे चलता है, यह कोई को भी पता नहीं।

¹¹⁴You now come to know everything from Me. ¹¹⁵No one knows how this world cycle turns.

¹¹⁴84 जन्म कौन लेते हैं?

¹¹⁶Who takes 84 births?

¹¹⁵सब तो नहीं लेंगे।

¹¹⁷Not everyone will take them.

¹¹⁶जरूर पहले आने वाले देवी-देवता ही 84 जन्म लेंगे।

¹¹⁸Surely, the deities who come first will take 84 births.

¹¹⁷अब उनको फिर से मैं राजयोग सिखाता हूँ।

¹¹⁹I am now once again teaching them Raja Yoga.

¹¹⁸भारत को फिर से नर्क से स्वर्ग बनाने मैं आता हूँ।

¹²⁰I come once again to make Bharat into heaven from hell.

¹¹⁹इनको लिबरेट मैं करता हूँ।

¹²¹I liberate it.

¹²⁰फिर गाइड बन वापिस भी ले जाता हूँ।

¹²²Then I become the Guide and take you back home.

¹²¹मुझे ज्योति स्वरूप भी कहते हैं।

¹²³I am also called the form of a jyoti (flame).

¹²²ज्योति स्वरूप को भी आना पड़े, स्वयं कहते बच्चे मैं तुम्हारा बाप हूँ।

¹²⁴Even the form of a jyoti has to come. ¹²⁵He Himself says: Children, I am your Father.

¹²³मेरी ज्योति कभी बुझती नहीं।

¹²⁶My light is never extinguished.

¹²⁴वह स्टॉर है जो भ्रकुटी के बीच रहते हैं।

¹²⁷It is a star that resides in the centre of the forehead.

¹²⁵बाकी सब आत्मायें एक शरीर छोड़ दूसरा लेती हैं।

¹²⁸All other souls shed their bodies and take others.

¹²⁶तो आत्मा रूपी स्टॉर में 84 जन्मों का पार्ट अविनाशी नूंधा हुआ है।

¹²⁹So, an imperishable part of 84 births is recorded in this soul, a star.

¹²⁷84 जन्म भोग फिर पहले नम्बर से शुरू करते हैं।

¹³⁰Souls take 84 births and then begin from number one again.

¹²⁸यथा राजा रानी तथा प्रजा।

¹³¹As are the king and queen, so the subjects.

¹²⁹नहीं तो भला बताओ आत्मा में इतना पार्ट कहाँ से भरा हुआ है।

¹³²How else would a soul have such a part recorded in him?

¹³⁰इसको कहा जाता है बहुत गुह्य वन्डरफुल बात है।

¹³³This is called a most wonderful, deep secret.

¹³¹सारी मनुष्य सृष्टि की आत्माओं का पार्ट नूंधा हुआ है।

¹³⁴Each soul of the human world has a part fixed in him.

¹³²कहते हैं मेरे में यह पार्ट है, वह भी अविनाशी है। ¹³³उसमें कोई तबदीली (अदली-बदली) नहीं हो सकती।

¹³⁵He says: I have this part in Me and that too is imperishable; there cannot be any change to it.

¹³⁴मेरे पार्ट को ब्रह्माकुमार-कुमारियां जानते हैं।

¹³⁶The Brahma Kumars and Kumaris know My part.

¹³⁵पार्ट को बायोग्राफी कहा जाता है।

¹³⁷The part is called the biography.

¹³⁶प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा है तो जरूर जगदम्बा भी होगी।

¹³⁸Since there is Prajapita Brahma, there must also be Jagadamba.

¹³⁷वह भी शूद्र से ब्राह्मण बनी है।

¹³⁹She too has changed from a shudra to a Brahmin.

¹³⁸तो तुम बच्चे जानते हो हमारी उल़फत बाप के साथ है और हमारा एक के ही साथ प्यार है।

¹⁴⁰You children know that you love the Father. ¹⁴¹Your love is only for One.

¹³⁹अव्यभिचारी प्यार होने में देरी नहीं लगती है।

¹⁴²It doesn’t take long for there to be unadulterated love.

¹⁴⁰माया बिल्ली भी कम नहीं है।

¹⁴³However, Maya, the cat, is no less.

¹⁴¹कई स्त्रियां होती हैं जिनकी आपस में ईर्ष्या हो जाती है।

¹⁴⁴Some women are jealous of each other.

¹⁴²हम भी शिवबाबा से प्यार रखते हैं तो माया को ईर्ष्या हो जाती है इसलिए तूफान लाती है।

¹⁴⁵When we love Shiv Baba, Maya feels jealous and so she creates storms.

¹⁴³तुम चाहते हो पऊंबारा डालें (चौपड़ का खेल) परन्तु माया बिल्ली तीन दाने डाल देती है।

¹⁴⁶You want to throw a double six (game similar to Ludo), but Maya, the cat, interferes in this.

¹⁴⁴तुम गृहस्थ व्यवहार में रहते हो सिर्फ तुम्हारा बुद्धियोग देह सहित देह के सब सम्बन्धों से हटाए कहते हैं मेरे को याद करो।

¹⁴⁷You live at home with your family and so you are told: Remove your intellects’ yoga from your bodies and bodily relations and remember Me.

¹⁴⁵मैं तुम्हारा मोस्ट बिलवेड बाप हूँ।

¹⁴⁸I am your most beloved Father.

¹⁴⁶मैं तुमको स्वर्ग का मालिक बनाऊंगा, यदि मेरी श्रीमत पर चलेंगे तो।

¹⁴⁹I will make you into the masters of heaven if you follow My shrimat.

¹⁴⁷ब्रह्मा की राय भी मशहूर है।

¹⁵⁰The directions of Brahma are very well known.

¹⁴⁸तो जरूर ब्रह्मा के बच्चों की भी मशहूर होगी।

¹⁵¹So, surely, the directions of the children of Brahma would also be well known.

¹⁴⁹वे भी ऐसी राय देते होंगे।

¹⁵²They would also give the same directions.

¹⁵⁰यह सारे सृष्टि चक्र का समाचार तो बाप ही बतलाते हैं।

¹⁵³Only the Father tells you the news of the whole world.

¹⁵¹भल बच्चों आदि को सम्भालो परन्तु बुद्धियोग बाप के साथ हो।

¹⁵⁴You may look after your children etc. but let your intellects’ yoga be connected to the Father.

¹⁵²समझो यह कब्रिस्तान है, हम परिस्तान में जाते हैं।

¹⁵⁵Consider this to be a graveyard and that you are going to the land of angels.

¹⁵³कितनी सहज बात है।

¹⁵⁶This is something so simple.

¹⁵⁴बाप समझाते हैं कि कोई भी साकारी वा आकारी देवता से बुद्धियोग नहीं लगाओ।

¹⁵⁷The Father explains: Do not connect your intellects in yoga to any corporeal or subtle deity.

¹⁵⁵बाप दलाल बनकर कहते हैं।

¹⁵⁸The Father tells you this as the Agent.

¹⁵⁶गाते हैं ना आत्मायें परमात्मा अलग रहे बहुकाल।

¹⁵⁹It is remembered that souls remained separated from the Supreme Soul for a long time.

¹⁵⁷अब बहुकाल से अलग तो देवी-देवता हैं।

¹⁶⁰It was the deities who were separated for a long time.

¹⁵⁸वही पहले-पहले पार्ट बजाने आते हैं।

¹⁶¹They are the ones who come first to play their parts.

¹⁵⁹सुन्दर मेला कर दिया जब सतगुरू मिला दलाल।

¹⁸⁸जब तमो जड़जड़ीभूत शरीर होता है तो फिर एक शरीर छोड़ दूसरा ले लेते हैं।

¹⁹⁴When his body becomes tamo and reaches a state of total decay, he sheds that body and takes another.
