Truth, insults and compassion
Murli point of Tuesday 14 November 2023
When "The kingdom of Rama" is said, your intellects go to God. Not everyone would accept a human being as God. So, you have to have mercy for them. You have to tolerate difficulties. Baba says: Sweet children, there will be many obstacles in the sacrificial fire of this knowledge for changing human beings into deities. The God of the Gita also had to take insults. This one and you too are insulted. They say: Perhaps this one saw the moon on the fourth night. All of those are tall stories.
Notes
cauth kā candramā means "the moon of the fourth day of the lunar fortnight". There is a legend that seeing the moon on this day brings reproach and disgrace to ourselves. It's a superstition.
taras means “pity, compassion, mercy”.
sahan means “tolerance, patience”.
gālī means “insult”.
dant kathā means "legend".
Rephrased murli point (alternative)
If we talk about the kingdom of Rām, the mind moves towards the Supreme Soul. If there is a man, no one would regard him as the Supreme Soul. So have compassion. Difficulties, you must accept them . Bābā said: “Sweet children, many obstacles will arise in making man a divinity in this Gyān Yagya.” The Bhagvān of the Gītā had endured the insults, right? You and this one also receive insults. They say that this one could have seen the moon of the fourth day of the lunar fortnight (which is supposed to bring reproach and disgrace to the one who saw it). All these things are legends.
Interpretation
Hindus believe that God descended to Earth several times as Krishna and as Rama for example. They believe what is said in the scriptures.
They cannot recognize a new incarnation like God descending in the body of Dada Lekhraj.
In Hinduism, even Krishna and Rama were born through a womb: they have parents.
They do not understand the idea that God could take up residence in the body of a completely ordinary old man.
So when we claim that this old man is the Brahma the Creator of the scriptures and that the Supreme Soul has descended into his body, they do not believe it. By telling this truth, we disturb the world around us and then expose ourselves to insults.
This is part of the process of transforming the world. We must therefore accept all insults, remain faithful to our truth and be tactful as much as possible so as not to generate too much violence.
It's not about trying to convince everyone, but it's about defending our beliefs and helping those who can accept them.
