7This small happy world is in the fortress of purity. 8If you step outside the fortress of purity even in your thoughts, you experience the influence of sorrow and peacelessness.
11अगर पवित्रता के किले के , संकल्प द्वारा भी बाहर जाते हो तब दुःख और अशान्ति का प्रभाव अनुभव करते हो . agar pavitratā K|kē kilē K|kē , saṅkalp dvārā bhī bāhar jātē hō tab duḥkh aur aśhānti kā prabhāv anubhav kartē hō . agar pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kilā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] , saṅkalp[n.m.;sg.,d.] dvārā bhī[p.] bāhar jānā[pres.pl.m.2] tab duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur aśhānti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] prabhāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] anubhav[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.2] . if purity (K|of) fortress (K|of) , thought through too outside go[pres.pl.m.2] for only then (hurt[root]|sorrow) and peacelessness of x experience do[pres.pl.m.2] .
9If the foot of your intellect remains in this fortress, then, there cannot be any wave of sorrow or peacelessness even in your dreams let alone your thoughts.
12यह बुद्धि रूपी पाँव किले के अन्दर रहें तो संकल्प तो क्या स्वप्न में भी दुःख अशान्ति की लहर नहीं आ सकती है . yah buddhi rūpī pāṅw kilē K|kē andar rahē̃ tō saṅkalp tō kyā svapn mē̃ bhī duḥkh aśhānti key|kī lahar nahī̃ ā saktī hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] rūpī[adj.] pāṅw[n.m.;sg.,d.] kilā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] andar rahnā[opt.pl.12hon3] tō saṅkalp[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō kyā svapn[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] aśhānti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] lahar[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] ānā[pres.sg.f.23.root+saknā] . this intellect in the form of foot fortress (K|of) inside remain[opt.pl.12hon3] then thought then what dream in too (hurt[root]|sorrow) peacelessness (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wave not come[pres.sg.f.23.root+saknā] .
10If there is the slightest experience of sorrow or peacelessness, there is definitely the influence of one type of impurity or another.
13दुःख और अशान्ति का जरा भी अनुभव होता है तो अवश्य कोई न कोई अपवित्रता का प्रभाव है . duḥkh aur aśhānti kā jarā bhī anubhav hōtā hai tō avaśhya kōī na kōī apavitratā kā prabhāv hai . duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur aśhānti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] zarā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] anubhav[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] tō avaśhya kōī na kōī[x] apavitratā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] prabhāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . (hurt[root]|sorrow) and peacelessness of x too experience be[pres.sg.m.23] then x one .. or another impurity of x be[pres.sg.23] .
11Purity does not just mean becoming a conqueror of lust and thereby a conqueror of the world, but all limited desires are the creation of the vice of lust.
14पवित्रता , सिर्फ कामजीत जगतजीत बनना यह नहीं है . pavitratā , sirph kāmjīt jagatjīt bannā yah nahī̃ hai . pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] , sirph[adj.] kāmjīt[adj.] jagat jīt[adj.] bannā[inf.m.sg.d.] yah[pn.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . purity , only conqueror of lust conqueror of the world become[inf.m.sg.d.] this not be[pres.sg.23] . 15लेकिन काम विकार का वंश , सर्व हद की कामनायें हैं . lēkin kām vikār kā vanśh , sarv had key|kī kāmanāyē̃ haĩ . lēkin kām[n.m.;sg.,d.]|kām[n.m.;sg.,d.] vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vanśh[n.m.;sg.,d.] , sarv[adj.] had[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . but (task|lust) vice of dynasty , all x (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
12To be a conqueror of lust means to be victorious over all desires because each desire has a great deal of expansion.
16कामजीत अर्थात् सर्व कामनायें जीत . kāmjīt arthāt sarv kāmanāyē̃ jīt . kāmjīt[adj.] arthāt sarv[adj.] kāmnā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] jīt[n.f.;sg.]|jītnā[root] . conqueror of lust that is all wish (x|x[root]) .
13One is the desire for physical possessions.
17क्योंकि कामनायें अनेक विस्तार पूर्वक हैं . kyōṅki kāmanāyē̃ anēk vistār pūrvak haĩ . kyōṅki kāmnā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] anēk[adj.] vistār[n.m.;sg.,d.] pūrvak hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . because wish many expansion according to be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
14The second desire is to attain something limited from people.
18कामना एक है - वस्तुओं की , दूसरी - व्यक्ति द्वारा हद के प्राप्ति की कामना है , तीसरी - सम्बन्ध निभाने में भी हद की कामनायें अनेक प्रकार की उत्पन्न होती हैं , चौथी - सेवा भावना में भी हद की कामना का भाव उत्पन्न हो जाता है . kāmnā ēk hai - vastuō̃ key|kī , dūsrī - vyakti dvārā had K|kē prāpti key|kī kāmnā hai , tīsrī - sambandh nibhānē mē̃ bhī had key|kī kāmanāyē̃ anēk prakār key|kī utpanna hōtī haĩ , chauthī - sēvā bhāvnā mē̃ bhī had key|kī kāmnā kā bhāv utpanna hō jātā hai . kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] ēk[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] - vastu[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] , dūsrā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] - vyakti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] dvārā had[n.f.;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] prāpti[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , tīsrā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] - sambandh[n.m.;sg.,d.] nibhānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] had[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] anēk[adj.] prakār[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] utpanna[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.f.12hon3] , chauthā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] - sēvā[n.f.;sg.] bhāvnā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] had[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] utpanna[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . wish one be[pres.sg.23] - thing (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) , other - x through x (K|of) attainment (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish be[pres.sg.23] , third - relationship fulfil[inf.m.pl.,o.] in too x (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish many form (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) x be[pres.pl.f.12hon3] , fourth - service feeling in too x (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish of consciousness x be[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] .
15Thirdly, many types of limited desires arise in fulfilling relationships. 16Fourthly, within the intention to do service, limited desires also arise. 17To finish all these four types of desire means to be victorious over sorrow and peacelessness for all time. 18Now ask yourself: Have I finished all these four types of desires?
19इन चार ही प्रकार की कामनाओं को समाप्त करना अर्थात् सदा के लिए दुःख अशान्ति को जीतना . in chār hī prakār key|kī kāmnāō̃ kō samāpt karnā arthāt sadā kē liē duḥkh aśhānti kō jītnā . in|yah[pn.pl.o.] chār[adj.] hī[p.] prakār[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] samāpt karnā[x] arthāt sadā kē liē[x] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] aśhānti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kō[postp.] jītnā[inf.m.sg.d.] . (in|this) four only form (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish to x that is constantly for (hurt[root]|sorrow) peacelessness to x[inf.m.sg.d.] .
19If any perishable thing attracts you towards itself, then that is definitely attachment in the form of desires.
20अब अपने आप से पूछो इन चार ही प्रकार की कामनाओं को समाप्त किया है ? ab apnē āp sē pūchhō in chār hī prakār key|kī kāmnāō̃ kō samāpt kiyā hai ? ab[adv.] apnē āp[x] sē[postp.] pūchhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] in|yah[pn.pl.o.] chār[adj.] hī[p.] prakār[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] samāpt karnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] ? now by yourself from ask[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] (in|this) four only form (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish to x ?
20You change the words and say in a royal way: "I don't want it, but I like it."
21कोई भी विनाशी वस्तु अगर बुद्धि को अपनी तरफ आकर्षित करती है तो जरूर कामना का रूप लगाव हुआ . kōī bhī vināśhī vastu agar buddhi kō apnī taraph ākarṣhit kartī hai tō jarūr kāmnā kā rūp lagāv huā . kōī bhī[x] vināśhī[adj.] vastu[n.f.;sg.] agar buddhi[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] apnā[pn.ā=>ī;f.] taraph[n.m.;sg.,d.] ākarṣhit[adj.] karnā[pres.sg.f.23] tō zarūr kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] lagāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] . anyone perishable thing if intellect to one’s own direction attracted do[pres.sg.f.23] then definitely wish of Rup attachment be[past-part.m.sg.d.] .
21Whether it is an object or a person, to have a special attraction towards it – when you like just that particular object or person – means there are desires. 22That is a desire.
śhabd[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] parivartan[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[abs.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.2] - ichchhā[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] lēkin achchhā lagnā[pres.sg.m.23] . royal Rup in word to transformation do[abs.] say[pres.pl.m.2] - desire not be[pres.sg.23] but enjoy .
23It is right when you say that you like everything and everyone, but it is wrong to say that you like just a particular thing or person.
23चाहे वस्तु हो वा व्यक्ति हो लेकिन किसी के प्रति भी विशेष आकर्षण है , वो ही वस्तु वा व्यक्ति ही अच्छा लगता है अर्थात् कामना है . chāhē vastu hō vā vyakti hō lēkin kisī kē prati bhī viśhēṣh ākarṣhaṇ hai , vō hī vastu vā vyakti hī achchhā lagtā hai arthāt kāmnā hai . chāhnā[opt.sg.23]|chāhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|chāhē vastu[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] vā vyakti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] lēkin kōī[pn.sg.o.]|kuchh[pn.sg.o.] kē prati[x] bhī[p.] viśhēṣh[adj.] ākarṣhaṇ[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.;d.] hī[p.] vastu[n.f.;sg.] vā vyakti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hī[p.] achchhā lagnā[pres.sg.m.23] arthāt kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . (x[opt.sg.23]|x[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|whether) thing (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) or x (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) but (some|anything) for too special attraction be[pres.sg.23] , that only thing or x only enjoy that is wish be[pres.sg.23] . 24इच्छा है . ichchhā hai . ichchhā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . desire be[pres.sg.23] . 25सब अच्छा लगता है - यह है यथार्थ . sab achchhā lagtā hai - yah hai yathārth . sab[adj.] achchhā lagnā[pres.sg.m.23] - yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] yathārth[adj.] . all enjoy - this be[pres.sg.23] x .
24That is a royal form of desire. 25Whether you like someone's service, someone's sustenance, virtues, effort, renunciation or nature, it is a different matter to take the fragrance of that goodness or to imbibe that goodness into yourself, instead of thinking that you like that one in particular because of that one’s goodness.
. but this enjoy - this be[pres.sg.23] x .
26This is because that goodness then changes into desires. 27It is a desire.
27यह इच्छा का रॉयल रूप है . yah ichchhā kā royal rūp hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] ichchhā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] royal rūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this desire of royal Rup be[pres.sg.23] .
28You are then unable to face sorrow or peacelessness.

29One is to deprive yourself of becoming good because of that one’s goodness. 30The other is the feeling of enmity that also brings you down. 31One is the desire to be impressed. 32The other is the desire from having jealousy or holding a grudge against someone.
29लेकिन इस अच्छाई के कारण यही अच्छी है - यह अच्छा कहना इच्छा में बदल जाता है . lēkin is achchhāī K|kē kāraṇ yahī achchhī hai - yah achchhā kahnā ichchhā mē̃ badal jātā hai . lēkin yah[pn.sg.o.] achchhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kāraṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] yahī[pn.;d.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] - yah[pn.sg.d.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kahnā[inf.m.sg.d.] ichchhā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] badalnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . but this goodness (K|of) because this achcha be[pres.sg.23] - this achcha say[inf.m.sg.d.] desire in change[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . 30यह कामना है . yah kāmnā hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this wish be[pres.sg.23] .
33These too finish your happiness and peace. 34Then your mind is constantly in upheaval. 35The signs of being impressed are attachment and subservience.
31जो दुःख और अशान्ति का सामाना नहीं कर सकते . jō duḥkh aur aśhānti kā sāmānā nahī̃ kar saktē . jō[pn.;d.] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur aśhānti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] x nahī̃[neg] karnā[root] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . that (hurt[root]|sorrow) and peacelessness of x not do[root] can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . 32एक है - अच्छाई के पीछे अपने को अच्छा बनने से वंचित करना . ēk hai - achchhāī kē pīchhē apnē kō achchhā bannē sē vañchit karnā . ēk[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] - achchhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kē pīchhē[x] apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] vañchit[adj.] karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] . one be[pres.sg.23] - goodness x one’s own to achcha become[inf.m.pl.,o.] from deprived do[inf.m.sg.d.] .
36Similarly, the sign of having feelings of jealousy or enmity are to try and prove yourself right and being stubborn.
33दूसरी - दुश्मनी की कामना भी नीचे ले आती है . dūsrī - duśhmanī key|kī kāmnā bhī nīchē lē ātī hai . dūsrā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] - duśhmanī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] nīchē lēnā[pres.sg.f.23.root+ānā] . other - enmity (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish too down take[pres.sg.f.23.root+ānā] . 34एक है प्रभावित की कामना . ēk hai prabhāvit key|kī kāmnā . ēk[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] prabhāvit[adj.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] . one be[pres.sg.23] x (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish .
37You are then unaware of how much time and energy are wasted in having both these types of feeling.
35दूसरी है किसी से वैर व ईर्ष्या की भावना की कामना . dūsrī hai kisī sē vair va īrṣhyā key|kī bhāvnā key|kī kāmnā . dūsrā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] kōī[pn.sg.o.]|kuchh[pn.sg.o.] sē[postp.] vair[n.m.;sg.,d.] va īrṣhyā[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] bhāvnā[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] kāmnā[n.f.;sg.] . other be[pres.sg.23] (some|anything) from x x jealousy (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) feeling (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) wish .
38Both cause a lot of loss. 39They distress you and also cause distress to others.
36वह भी सुख और शान्ति को समाप्त कर देती है . vah bhī sukh aur śhānti kō samāpt kar dētī hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur śhānti kō[postp.] samāpt karnā[pres.sg.f.23.root+dēnā] . that too happiness and peace to x .
40At such a time, the chant from such souls is: I have to take and give sorrow.

41No matter what happens, I have to do this.
38प्रभावित होने के लक्षण - लगाव और झुकाव है . prabhāvit hōnē K|kē lakṣhaṇ - lagāv aur jhukāv hai . prabhāvit[adj.] hōnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] lakṣhaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] - lagāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur jhukāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . x be[inf.m.pl.,o.] (K|of) qualification - attachment and x be[pres.sg.23] .
42It is their desires that are speaking at that time.
39ऐसे ईर्ष्या वा दुश्मनी का भाव उसकी निशानी है - जिद्द करना और सिद्ध करना . aisē īrṣhyā vā duśhmanī kā bhāv uskī niśhānī hai - jidda karnā aur siddh karnā . aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] īrṣhyā[n.f.;sg.] vā duśhmanī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] vah[pn.sg.kī] niśhānī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] - x karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] aur siddh karnā[x] . such jealousy or enmity of consciousness that[.kī] sign be[pres.sg.23] - x do[inf.m.sg.d.] and justify[x] .
43It is not the Brahmin soul speaking at that time. 44This is why their foot of the intellect steps outside the world of happiness and peace.
40दोनों ही भाव में कितनी एनर्जी , कितना समय खत्म कर देते हैं . dōnō̃ hī bhāv mē̃ kitnī energy , kitnā samay khatm kar dētē haĩ . dōnō̃ hī[p.] bhāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] energy , kitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] ḵẖatm[adj.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] . x only consciousness in so energy , so time finished do[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] . 41यह मालूम नहीं पड़ता है . yah mālūm nahī̃ paṛtā hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] mālūm[adj.] nahī̃[neg] paṛnā[pres.sg.m.23] . this x not fall[pres.sg.m.23] .
45Therefore, become victorious over these royal desires. 46Go beyond these desires and have the stage of being ignorant of even the knowledge of desires.
42दोनों ही बहुत नुकसान देने वाले हैं . dōnō̃ hī bahut nuksān dēnē vālē haĩ . dōnō̃ hī[p.] bahut nuksān[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . x only very loss give[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who be[pres.pl.12hon3] . 43स्वयं भी परेशान और दूसरों को भी परेशान करने वाले हैं . svayã bhī parēśhān aur dūsrō̃ kō bhī parēśhān karnē vālē haĩ . svayã bhī[p.] parēśhān[adj.] aur dūsrā[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] bhī[p.] parēśhān[adj.] karnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . x too distressed and other to too distressed do[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
47When you have the thought, due to either type of feeling, that you will definitely demonstrate this by doing something, to whom will you demonstrate it?
44ऐसी स्थिति के समय ऐसी आत्माओं का यही नारा होता है - दुःख लेना और दुःख देना ही है . aisī sthiti K|kē samay aisī ātmāō̃ kā yahī nārā hōtā hai - duḥkh lēnā aur duḥkh dēnā hī hai . aisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sthiti[n.f.;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] aisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] ātmā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] yahī[pn.;d.] nārā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] - duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] lēnā[inf.m.sg.d.] aur duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[inf.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . such stage (K|of) time such soul of this chant be[pres.sg.m.23] - (hurt[root]|sorrow) take[inf.m.sg.d.] and (hurt[root]|sorrow) give[inf.m.sg.d.] only be[pres.sg.23] .
48To the Father or the Brahmin family? 49Whom will you show? 50Then, just consider that as not demonstrating, but that you will demonstrate falling.

51Is that the wonder that you will demonstrate?

53The intoxication of limited attainment: I will demonstrate by doing this service, I will demonstrate by glorifying the name – check whether these words are royal.
49इसलिए इन रॉयल कामनाओं के ऊपर भी विजयी बनो . isliē in royal kāmnāō̃ kē ūpar bhī vijayī banō . isliē in|yah[pn.pl.o.] royal kāmnā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kē ūpar[x] bhī[p.] vijayī[adj.] bannā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . therefore (in|this) royal wish over too victorious become[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .

62This is not cleverness, but it is experiencing defeat every cycle and becoming part of the moon dynasty instead of the sun dynasty. 63You will then have to become part of the moon dynasty every cycle.
58कहते हो शेर की भाषा लेकिन बनते हो बकरी . kahtē hō śhēr key|kī bhāṣhā lēkin bantē hō bakrī . kahnā[pres.pl.m.2] śhēr[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] bhāṣhā[n.f.;sg.] lēkin bannā[pres.pl.m.2] bakrī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] . say[pres.pl.m.2] lion (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) language but become[pres.pl.m.2] goat .
64So, is that defeat or cleverness? 65Do not show such cleverness.
59जैसे आजकल कोई शेर का , कोई हाथी का , कोई रावण का , कोई राम का फेस डाल देते हैं ना . jaisē ājkal kōī śhēr kā , kōī hāthī kā , kōī rāvaṇ kā , kōī rām kā face ḍāl dētē haĩ nā . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ājkal kōī[pn.;d.] śhēr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] , kōī[pn.;d.] hāthī[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] , kōī[pn.;d.] rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] , kōī[pn.;d.] rām[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] face ḍālnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] nā . like nowadays some lion of , some x of , some Ravan of , some Rama of face create[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] ∅ .
66Do not become arrogant. 67Do not insult anyone. 68Both of those feelings distance you from good wishes and pure feelings.
60तो यह माया शेर का फेस लगा देती है . tō yah māyā śhēr kā face lagā dētī hai . tō yah[pn.sg.d.] māyā[n.f.;sg.] śhēr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] face lagnā[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+dēnā]|lagānā[pres.sg.f.23.root+dēnā] . then this Maya lion of face (x[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+dēnā]|attach[pres.sg.f.23.root+dēnā]) .
69So check: There isn't the slightest feeling of arrogance or insult, is there?
61मैं यह करके दिखाऊँगा , यह करूँगा , लेकिन माया अपने वश कर बकरी बना देती हैं . maĩ yah karkē dikhāū̃gā , yah karū̃gā , lēkin māyā apnē vaśh kar bakrī banā dētī haĩ . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] yah[pn.sg.d.] karnā[abs.] dikhānā[fut.m.sg.1] , yah[pn.sg.d.] karnā[fut.m.sg.1] , lēkin māyā[n.f.;sg.] apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] vaśh[x] karnā[root] bakrī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] banānā[pres.pl.f.12hon3.root+dēnā] . 70Where there are feelings of arrogance or insult, that person can never be stable in the stage of selfrespect.

122Similarly, those who are humble are the ones who eat the instant, practical fruit.
112क्योंकि भगवान की बन गई तो भाग्यवान हो गई . kyōṅki bhagvān key|kī ban gaī tō bhāgyavān hō gaī . kyōṅki bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] bannā[past-part.f..root+jānā] tō bhāgyavān[x] hōnā[past-part.f..root+jānā] . because God (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) become[past-part.f..root+jānā] then fortunate be[past-part.f..root+jānā] .

126Some children try to be clever with the Father, the Cleverest of All.

127In order to accomplish their task or in order to glorify their name, they have realisation at that time, but because that realisation doesn't have power, transformation doesn't take place.
118निमित्त बनने का भी महत्व है . nimitt bannē kā bhī mahatva hai . nimitt[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] mahatva[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . instrument become[inf.m.pl.,o.] of too importance be[pres.sg.23] . 119इसी महत्व से सदा आगे बढ़ाते हुए विश्व में महान आत्मायें बन प्रसिद्ध हो जायेंगी . isī mahatva sē sadā āgē baṛhātē huē viśhva mē̃ mahān ātmāyē̃ ban prasiddh hō jāyēṅgī . yah[pn.sg.hī] mahatva[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] sadā āgē baṛhānā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] viśhva[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] mahān, mahā[adj.] ātmā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] bannā[root]|ban[n.m.;sg.,d.] prasiddh[adj.] hōnā[fut.f.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] . this[.hī] importance from constantly previously increase[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] be[past-part.m.pl.,o.] world in great soul (become[root]|x) x be[fut.f.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] .
128There are some who do understand that something is not right, but they also think that their name should not be spoilt and they therefore kill their conscience.
120तो अपनी महानता को तो जानती हो ना ! tō apnī mahāntā kō tō jāntī hō nā ! tō apnā[pn.ā=>ī;f.] mahāntā[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] tō jānnā[pres.pl.f.2] nā ! then one’s own x to then know[pres.pl.f.2] ∅ !
129This is also accumulated in the account of sin.
121जितने महान उतने निर्मान . jitnē mahān utnē nirmān . jitnā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] mahān, mahā[adj.] utnā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nirmān[adj.] . the more great x humble . 122जैसे फलदायक वृक्ष की निशानी है - झुकना . jaisē phaldāyak vr̥ikṣha key|kī niśhānī hai - jhuknā . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] phaldāyak[adj.] vr̥ikṣha[x] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] niśhānī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] - jhuknā[inf.m.sg.d.] . like x tree (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) sign be[pres.sg.23] - x[inf.m.sg.d.] .
