¹The basis of remembrance is knowledge, not visions.

²Om shanti.

³Now we souls have visions from God directly and indirectly.

⁴We now know about the discus of self-realisation of the soul.

⁵Together with knowing the soul, we also know God.

⁶1his is known as the vision of the self, the soul.

⁷We have the understanding through knowledge and also through visions how the soul goes through the beginning, the middle and the end of the cycle.

⁸Those who are experienced can say that through knowledge they can understand how the soul goes through its cycle.

⁹Even if someone does have visions, because they do not have any knowledge the visions are of no use.

¹⁰Everything depends on knowledge.

¹¹This is why you must not even have the thought that only when you have a vision can you catch hold of your aim.

¹²Remembrance is connected with knowledge.

¹³It is only through knowledge that we know everything about the acts of God.

¹⁴Only when we know this are we able to remember Him.

¹⁵It isn't that we just have to have a vision and then have yoga with that image.

¹⁶We need kmowledge of Him in the intellect.

¹⁷The more oomplete lmowledge about tre soul and God there is in the intellect, tre more automatic His remembrance will be.

¹⁸Having visions is not connnected with knowledge.

¹⁹It is not a question of going into trance.

²⁰The more lmowledge is retained in the intellect, tre more that remembrance will pull you.

²²You have to spin the entire discus of self-realisation.

²³The soul has in the intellect the kmowledge of the self and also of the acts and occupation of God.

²⁴So this is yoga of the intellect.

²⁵The mere you imbibe lmowledge, the more you will be able to maintain a stage of remembrance.

²⁶Without knowledge, just having visions, nothing happens.

²⁷Many people wish to have a vision of God, the point of light, and say that they would then be able to have yoga of the intellect easily.

²⁸But we know that He is our Father, Teacher and Guru.

²⁹We have knowledge about His occupation and His acts in our intellect.

³⁰If we do not have this knowledge, we cannot remember Him.

³¹This is not connected with visions.

³²The main thing is knowledge.

³³Remembrance, that is, yoga, only increases when the knowledge spins in the intellect.

³⁴If there is knowledge in the intellect then there will be a pull to remembrance.

³⁵You have to increase remembrance with the strength of knowledge.

³⁶The entire significance will spin in the intellect.

³⁷This is known as the discus of self-realisation.

³⁸This discus will only spin with knowledge.

³⁹This is connected only with knowledge.

⁴⁰Then you have a vision of the soul and God.

⁴¹So everything depends on knowledge.

⁴²If someone does have visions, it is good, but it is not essential.

⁴³We only progress through knowledge and yoga.

⁴⁴We have the entire knowledge.

⁴⁵When we do not understand, seeing something is the same as not seeing it.

⁴⁶We do not have to have yoga with any images.

⁴⁷We only need knowledge to remember Him.

⁴⁸You have to connect the intellect with the One who is the Ocean of Knowledge.
