5This is why it is remembered: When you conquer the mind, you conquer the world.
8जितना इस समय संकल्प-शक्ति अर्थात् मन को स्व के अधिकार में रखते हो उतना ही विश्व के राज्य के अधिकारी बनते हो . jitnā is samay saṅkalp-śakti arthāt man kō sva kē|K adhikār mē̃ rakhtē hō utnā hī viśhva kē|K rājya kē|K adhikārī bantē hō . jitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] is samay[x] x arthāt man[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] sva kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K adhikār[x] mē̃[postp.] rakhnā[pres.pl.m.2] utnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hī[p.] viśhva[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K adhikārī[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[pres.pl.m.2] . the more at this time x that is mind to x (of|K) right in keep[pres.pl.m.2] x only world (of|K) kingdom (of|K) (one) who has a right become[pres.pl.m.2] .

9अभी इस समय ईश्वरीय बालक हो और अभी के बालक ही विश्व के मालिक बनेंगे . abhī is samay īśhvarīy bālak hō aur abhī kē|K bālak hī viśhva kē|K mālik banē̃gē . ab[adv.hī] is samay[x] īśhvarīy[adj.] bālak[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] aur ab[adv.hī] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K bālak[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] viśhva[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . now at this time Godly x (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) and now (of|K) x only world (of|K) master become[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

11जो भी हद के मालिकपन का हद का नशा है उसे समाप्त कर हद के मालिकपन से बालकपन में आना है तब ही बालक सो मालिक बनेंगे . jō bhī had kē|K mālikpan kā had kā naśhā hai usē samāpt kar had kē|K mālikpan sē bālakpan mē̃ ānā hai tab hī bālak sō mālik banē̃gē . jō[pn.;d.] bhī[p.] had[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K mālikpan[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] had[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] naśhā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] vah[pn.sg.kō] samāpt karnā[root] had[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K mālikpan[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] bālakpan[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] ānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] tab hī[p.] bālak[n.m.;sg.,d.] sōnā[root]|sō mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . that too x (of|K) being a master of x of intoxication be[pres.sg.23] that[.kō] x x (of|K) being a master from x in come[pres.sg.23.oblig1] for only then only x (sleep[root]|x) master become[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
9Finish whatever limited intoxication you have of being a limited master and become a child, for only then will the child become a master.
12इसलिए भक्ति मार्ग में भी कितना कोई भी देश का बड़ा मालिक हो , धन का मालिक हो , परिवार का मालिक हो लेकिन बाप के आगे सब बालक तेरे कह कर ही प्रार्थना करते हैं . isliē bhakti mārg mē̃ bhī kitnā kōī bhī dēśh kā baṛā mālik hō , dhan kā mālik hō , parivār kā mālik hō lēkin bāp kē āgē sab bālak tērē kah kar hī prārthanā kartē haĩ . isliē bhakti mārg[x] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kōī bhī[x] dēśh[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] baṛā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] , dhan[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] , parivār[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] lēkin bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kē āgē[x] sab[adj.] bālak[n.m.;sg.,d.] tū[pn.sg.kē] kahnā[root] karnā[root] hī[p.] prārthanā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . therefore path of devotion in too so anyone land of very master (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) , wealth of master (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) , family of master (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) but father in front of all x you[.kē] say[root] do[root] only x do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
10This is why, on the path of devotion, no matter how great a leader of the country someone may be, although he may be a master of wealth, a master of the family, whilst praying in front of the Father he would say “I am Your child!”.
13मैं फलाना मालिक हूँ ऐसे कभी नहीं कहेंगे . maĩ phalānā mālik hū̃ aisē kabhī nahī̃ kahē̃gē . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] phalānā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.1] aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kabhī[adv.] nahī̃[neg] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . 33तो कहते बहुत समय के संस्कार हैं वा पुराने संस्कार हैं . tō kahtē bahut samay kē|K saṅskār haĩ vā purānē saṅskār haĩ . tō kahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] bahut samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K saṅskār[x] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] vā purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] saṅskār[x] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . then say[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] very time (of|K) sanskar be[pres.pl.12hon3] or old sanskar be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
31They reply: It is a sanskar of longstanding or it is a very old sanskar.

32However, since you have died alive, what happens when you die?
35अग्नि संस्कार करते हो ना . agni saṅskār kartē hō nā . agni[x] saṅskār[x] karnā[pres.pl.m.2] nā . fire sanskar do[pres.pl.m.2] ∅ .
33You have the cremation ceremony, do you not?
36तो पुराने का संस्कार किया तब नया जन्म लिया . tō purānē kā saṅskār kiyā tab nayā janma liyā . tō purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] saṅskār[x] karnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] tab nayā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] janma lēnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] . then old of sanskar do[past-part.m.sg.d.] for only then new x .
34It was when you had the cremation of the old that you then took a new birth.

35If you have had the cremation ceremony, where did the old sanskars come from?
38जैसे शरीर का संस्कार करते हो तो नाम-रूप समाप्त हो जाता है . jaisē śharīr kā saṅskār kartē hō tō nām-rūp samāpt hō jātā hai . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] saṅskār[x] karnā[pres.pl.m.2] tō nām rūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samāpt[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . like body of sanskar do[pres.pl.m.2] then name and form finished be[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] .
36When a body is cremated all trace of name and form finishes.
39अगर नाम भी लेंगे तो कहेंगे फलाना था . agar nām bhī lē̃gē tō kahē̃gē phalānā thā . agar nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] lēnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] tō kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] phalānā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[past.m.sg] . if name too take[fut.m.pl.12hon3] then say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] x be[past.m.sg] . 40है , नहीं कहेंगे . hai , nahī̃ kahē̃gē . hōnā[pres.sg.23] , nahī̃[neg] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . be[pres.sg.23] , not say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
37So, if you speak of that person, you would say, “There was suchandsuch a person.”
41तो शरीर के संस्कार होने के बाद शरीर समाप्त हो गया . tō śharīr kē|K saṅskār hōnē kē bād śharīr samāpt hō gayā . tō śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K saṅskār[x] hōnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kē bād[x] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] samāpt[adj.] hōnā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+jānā] . then body (of|K) sanskar be[inf.m.pl.,o.] after body finished be[past-part.m.sg.d..root+jānā] .
38You would not say, “There is this person” (in the present tense).
42ब्राह्मण जीवन में किसका संस्कार करते हो ? brāhmaṇ jīvan mē̃ kiskā saṅskār kartē hō ? brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] kaun[pn.sg.kā] saṅskār[x] karnā[pres.pl.m.2] ? Brahmin life in who[.kā] sanskar do[pres.pl.m.2] ?
39So, when the body has been cremated, the body has finished.
43शरीर तो वही है . śharīr tō vahī hai . śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō vahī hōnā[pres.sg.23] . body then this be[pres.sg.23] .
40What do you cremate in Brahmin life?
44लेकिन पुराने संस्कारों , पुरानी स्मृतियों का , स्वभाव का संस्कार करते हो तब मरजीवा कहलाते हो . lēkin purānē saṅskārō̃ , purānī smr̥itiyō̃ kā , svabhāv kā saṅskār kartē hō tab marjīvā kahlātē hō . lēkin purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] saṅskār[x] , purānā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] smr̥iti[n.f.ī=>iyō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] , svabhāv[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] saṅskār[x] karnā[pres.pl.m.2] tab marjīvā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kahlānā[pres.pl.m.2] . but old sanskar , old awareness of , nature of sanskar do[pres.pl.m.2] for only then dying alive call[pres.pl.m.2] .
41You have the same body, but you cremate the old sanskars, the old memories, and your nature and this is why it is called dying alive.
45जब संस्कार कर लिया तो पुराने संस्कार कहाँ से आये . jab saṅskār kar liyā tō purānē saṅskār kahā̃ sē āyē . jab saṅskār[x] karnā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+lēnā] tō purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] saṅskār[x] kahā̃ sē[postp.] ānā[opt.sg.23]|ānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] . when sanskar do[past-part.m.sg.d..root+lēnā] then old sanskar where from (come[opt.sg.23]|come[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) .
42When you have had the cremation ceremony, where do the old sanskars come from?
46अगर संस्कार किया हुआ मनुष्य फिर से आपके सामने आ जावे तो उसको क्या कहेंगे ? agar saṅskār kiyā huā manuṣhya phir sē āpkē sāmnē ā jāvē tō uskō kyā kahē̃gē ? agar saṅskār[x] karnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hōnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] phir sē[x] āp[pn.pl.kē] sāmnē ānā[opt.sg.23.root+jānā] tō vah[pn.sg.kō] kyā kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ? if sanskar do[past-part.m.sg.d.] be[past-part.m.sg.d.] human being again you[.kē] x come[opt.sg.23.root+jānā] then that[.kō] what say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ?

44You would call that a ghost.
48तो यह भी पुराने संस्कार , किये हुए संस्कार अगर जागृत हो जाते तो क्या कहेंगे ? tō yah bhī purānē saṅskār , kiyē huē saṅskār agar jāgr̥it hō jātē tō kyā kahē̃gē ? tō yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] saṅskār[x] , karnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] saṅskār[x] agar jāgr̥it[adj.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] jānā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] tō kyā kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ? then this too old sanskar , do[past-part.m.pl.,o.] be[past-part.m.pl.,o.] sanskar if x (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) go[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] then what say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ?
45So here too, if the sanskars that have been cremated are awakened again, what would you say? 46That is also a ghost of Maya, is it not?
49यह भी माया के भूत कहेंगे ना . yah bhī māyā kē|K bhūt kahē̃gē nā . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] māyā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K bhūt[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] nā . this too Maya (of|K) evil spirit say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ∅ .
47Ghosts are chased away. 48They are not even spoken about.
50भूतों को भगाया जाता है ना . bhūtō̃ kō bhagāyā jātā hai nā . bhūt[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] bhagānā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|bhagānā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] nā . evil spirit to (chase away[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|chase away[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) ∅ .
49You just deceive yourselves calling them your old sanskars.

50If you like old things, then remember really old things which are in reality your original sanskars. 51Those were the sanskars of the middle period.
53अगर आपको पुरानी बातें अच्छी लगती हैं तो वास्तविक पुराने ते पुराने आदिकाल के संस्कारों को याद करो . agar āpkō purānī bātē̃ achchhī lagtī haĩ tō vāstavik purānē tē purānē ādikāl kē|K saṅskārō̃ kō yād karō . agar āp[pn.pl.kō] purānā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] bāt[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] lagnā[pres.pl.f.12hon3] tō vāstavik[adj.] purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sē purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ādi kāl[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K saṅskār[x] kō[postp.] yād karnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . if you[.kō] old matter achcha x[pres.pl.f.12hon3] then real old from old beginning (of|K) sanskar to remember .
52They are not the oldest of all. 53The middle is the middle period and so to remember the middle means to be distressed in the middle of the ocean.
54यह तो मध्यकाल के संस्कार थे . yah tō madhyakāl kē|K saṅskār thē . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō madhyakāl[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K saṅskār[x] hōnā[past.pl] . this then middle period (of|K) sanskar be[past.pl] .
54Therefore, never think of such weak things.
55यह पुराने ते पुराने नहीं हैं . yah purānē tē purānē nahī̃ haĩ . yah[pn.sg.d.] purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sē purānā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . this old from old not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
55Always remember these two words: Child and master.
56मध्य को बीच कहते हैं तो मध्यकाल अर्थात् बीच को याद करना अर्थात् बीच भंवर में परेशान होना है . madhya kō bīch kahtē haĩ tō madhyakāl arthāt bīch kō yād karnā arthāt bīch bhãvar mē̃ parēśhān hōnā hai . madhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] bīch kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō madhyakāl[n.m.;sg.,d.] arthāt bīch kō[postp.] yād karnā[x] arthāt bīch bhãvar[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] parēśhān[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . middle to centre say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then middle period that is centre to remember that is centre ocean in distressed be[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
56The awareness of being a child automatically brings the awareness of being a master. 57Do you not know how to become a child?
57इसलिए कभी भी ऐसी कमज़ोरी की बातें नहीं सोचो . isliē kabhī bhī aisī kamzōrī kī|key bātē̃ nahī̃ sōchō . isliē kabhī[adv.] bhī[p.] aisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] kamjōrī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key bāt[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] nahī̃[neg] sōchnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . therefore ever too such weakness (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) matter not think[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
58Become a child, that is, become light of all burdens.
58सदा यही दो शब्द याद रखो - बालक सो मालिक . sadā yahī dō śhabda yād rakhō - bālak sō mālik . sadā yahī[pn.;d.] dō[adj.]|dēnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] śhabd[n.m.;sg.,d.] yād rakhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] - bālak[n.m.;sg.,d.] sōnā[root]|sō mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] . constantly this (two|give[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]) word remember - x (sleep[root]|x) master .
59To say "Yours" sometimes and "mine" sometimes makes it difficult.
59बालक पन ही मालिकपन स्वतः ही स्मृति में लाता है . bālak pan hī mālikpan svataḥ hī smr̥iti mē̃ lātā hai . bālak[n.m.;sg.,d.] pan[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] mālikpan[n.m.;sg.,d.] svataḥ hī[p.] smr̥iti[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] lānā[pres.sg.m.23] . x x only being a master automatically only awareness in x[pres.sg.m.23] .
60It is when you find work to be difficult that you say, "You know Your work!"
60बालक बनना नहीं आता ? bālak bannā nahī̃ ātā ? bālak[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[inf.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] ānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] ? x become[inf.m.sg.d.] not come[pres-part.m.sg.d.] ?
61When you find it easy you say, "mine".

62To finish the consciousness of "mine" means to be a child and a master.
