188At first, they experience happiness; then, while descending, they have to become tamopradhan.

172अब फिर सबको वापस ले जाने के लिए बाप आये हैं . ab phir sabkō vāpas lē jānē kē liē bāp āyē haĩ . ab[adv.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] sabkō vāpis, vāpas lēnā[root]|lēnā[opt.sg.23] jānā[inf.m.pl.,o.]|jānnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|jānnā[opt.sg.23] kē liē[x] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] . now (turn[root]|then) everything back (take[root]|take[opt.sg.23]) (go[inf.m.pl.,o.]|know[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|know[opt.sg.23]) for father come[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] .

189Now, once again, the Father has come to take everyone back home.

173बाप कहते हैं मुझे याद करो तो तुम पावन बन जायेंगे . bāp kahtē haĩ mujhē yād karō tō tum pāvan ban jāyēṅgē . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] mujhē yād karō[x] tō tum[pn.pl.] pāvan[adj.] bannā[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] . the Father says remember Me then you pure become[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] .

190The Father says: Remember Me and you will become pure.

174बाप ने समझाया है जिस समय मनुष्य शरीर छोड़ते हैं तो उस समय बड़ी तकलीफ भोगते हैं क्योंकि सजायें भोगनी पड़ती हैं . bāp nē samjhāyā hai jis samay manuṣhya śharīr chhōṛtē haĩ tō us samay baṛī taklīph bhōgtē haĩ kyōṅki sajāyē̃ bhōgnī paṛtī haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] samjhānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] jis samay[x] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] chhōṛnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō vah[pn.sg.o.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] baṛā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] taklīph[n.f.;sg.] bhōgnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] kyōṅki sazā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] bhōgnā[pres.pl.f.12hon3.oblig2] . father ∅ explain[pres-perf.sg.m.23] x human being body renounce[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then that time very difficulty experience[pres.pl.m.12hon3] because punishment experience[pres.pl.f.12hon3.oblig2] .

191The Father has explained: When human beings leave their bodies, they suffer a great deal of difficulty because they have to experience punishment.

175जैसे काशी कलवट खाते हैं क्योंकि सुना है शिव पर बलि चढ़ने से मुक्ति मिल जाती है . jaisē kāśhī kalvaṭ khātē haĩ kyōṅki sunā hai śhiv par bali chaṛhnē sē mukti mil jātī hai . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kāśhī kalvaṭ[x] khānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] kyōṅki sunnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] śhiv par[postp.]|par[adj.] bali[n.m.;sg.,d.] chaṛhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] mukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] milnā[pres.sg.f.23.root+jānā] . like x eat[pres.pl.m.12hon3] because listen[pres-perf.sg.m.23] Shiva (at|other) sacrifice climb[inf.m.pl.,o.] from liberation receive[pres.sg.f.23.root+jānā] .

192For example, they sacrifice themselves on the sword at Kashi because they have heard that by sacrificing oneself to Shiva, one receives liberation.

176तुम अभी बलि चढ़ते हो ना , तो भक्ति मार्ग में भी फिर वह बातें चलती हैं . tum abhī bali chaṛhtē hō nā , tō bhakti mārg mē̃ bhī phir vah bātē̃ chaltī haĩ . tum[pn.pl.] ab[adv.hī] bali chaṛhnā[pres.pl.m.2] nā , tō bhakti mārg[x] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] vah[pn.sg.d.] bāt[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] chalnā[pres.pl.f.12hon3] . you now sacrifice oneself ∅ , then path of devotion in too (turn[root]|then) that matter continue[pres.pl.f.12hon3] .

193You sacrifice yourselves now. 194So, these aspects then also continue on the path of devotion.

177तो शिव पर जाकर बलि चढ़ते हैं . tō śhiv par jākar bali chaṛhtē haĩ . tō śhiv par[postp.]|par[adj.] jānā[abs.] bali chaṛhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . then Shiva (at|other) go[abs.] sacrifice oneself .

195They go and sacrifice themselves to Shiva.

. now father explain[pres.pl.m.12hon3] back then some go[root] not can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

196The Father now explains: No one can return to that home.

179हाँ , इतना बलिहार जाते हैं तो पाप कट जाते हैं फिर हिसाब-किताब नयेसिर शुरू होता है . hā̃ , itnā balihār jātē haĩ tō pāp kaṭ jātē haĩ phir hisāb-kitāb nayēsir śhurū hōtā hai . hā̃ , itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] balihār jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō pāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kaṭnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] hisāb-kitāb[n.f.;sg.] nayēsir śhurū hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] . yes , such surrender oneself then x be cut away[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] (turn[root]|then) accounts from the beginning x .

197Yes, they do sacrifice themselves such that their sins are cut away. 198Then their accounts begin again, anew.

180तुम इस सृष्टि चक्र को जान गये हो . tum is sr̥iṣhṭi chakra kō jān gayē hō . tum[pn.pl.] yah[pn.sg.o.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] chakra, chakkar[n.m.;sg.,d.]|chakra[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] jānnā[pres-perf.pl.m.2.root+jānā] . you this world (cycle|x) to know[pres-perf.pl.m.2.root+jānā] .

199You now know this world cycle.

181इस समय सबकी उतरती कला है . is samay sabkī utartī kalā hai . is samay[x] sabkā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] utarnā[pres-part.f.] kalā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . at this time everyone's go down[pres-part.f.] degree be[pres.sg.23] .

200At this time, it is everyone’s descending stage.

182बाप कहते हैं मैं आकर सर्व की सद्गति करता हूँ . bāp kahtē haĩ maĩ ākar sarv kī|key sadgati kartā hū̃ . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] maĩ[pn.sg.d.] ānā[abs.] sarv[adj.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key sadgati[n.f.;sg.] karnā[pres.sg.m.1] . the Father says I come[abs.] all (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) salvation do[pres.sg.m.1] .

201The Father says: I come and bestow salvation on everyone.

183सबको घर ले जाता हूँ . sabkō ghar lē jātā hū̃ . sabkō ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] lē jānā[pres.sg.m.1] . everything home carry .

202I take everyone home.

184पतितों को तो साथ नहीं ले जाऊंगा इसलिए अब पवित्र बनो तो तुम्हारी ज्योत जग जायेगी . patitō̃ kō tō sāth nahī̃ lē jāūṅgā isliē ab pavitra banō tō tumhārī jyōt jag jāyēgī . patit[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] tō sāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] lē jānā[fut.m.sg.1] isliē ab[adv.] pavitr[adj.] bannā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] tō tum[pn.pl.kī] jyōti[n.m.;sg.,d.] jagnā[fut.f.sg.23.root+jānā] . impure to then with not carry therefore now pure become[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] then you[.kī] light wake up[fut.f.sg.23.root+jānā] .

203However, I wouldn’t take anyone impure back with Me. 204Therefore, you become pure, so that your lamp can be ignited.

185शादी के टाइम स्त्री के माथे पर मटकी में ज्योत जगाते हैं . śhādī kē|K time strī kē|K māthē par maṭkī mē̃ jyōt jagātē haĩ . śhādī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K time strī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K māthā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] maṭkī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] jyōti[n.m.;sg.,d.] jagānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . wedding (of|K) time wife (of|K) x (at|other) pitcher in light awaken[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

205At the time of a wedding, they ignite a light in a pot and place it on the head of the bride.

186यह रसम भी यहाँ भारत में ही है . yah rasam bhī yahā̃ bhārat mē̃ hī hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] rasm[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] yahā̃ bhārat[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] hī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this systems too here Bharat in only be[pres.sg.23] .

206This custom only exists in Bharat.

187स्त्री के माथे पर मटकी में ज्योत जगाते हैं , पति के ऊपर नहीं जगाते , क्योंकि पति के लिए तो ईश्वर कहते हैं . strī kē|K māthē par maṭkī mē̃ jyōt jagātē haĩ , pati kē ūpar nahī̃ jagātē , kyōṅki pati kē liē tō īśhvar kahtē haĩ . strī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K māthā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] maṭkī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] jyōti[n.m.;sg.,d.] jagānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , pati[n.m.;sg.,d.] kē ūpar[x] nahī̃[neg] jagānā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] , kyōṅki pati[n.m.;sg.,d.] kē liē[x] tō īśhvar[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . wife (of|K) x (at|other) pitcher in light awaken[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , husband over not awaken[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] , because husband for then God say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

207It is not lit and placed on the head of the groom because it is said of the husband that he is her god.

188ईश्वर पर फिर ज्योत कैसे जगायेंगे . īśhvar par phir jyōt kaisē jagāyēṅgē . īśhvar[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] jyōti[n.m.;sg.,d.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] jagānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . God (at|other) (turn[root]|then) light how awaken[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

208How would you then ignite a light on God?

189तो बाप समझाते हैं मेरी तो ज्योत जगी हुई है . tō bāp samjhātē haĩ mērī tō jyōt jagī huī hai . tō bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samjhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] maĩ[pn.sg.kī] tō jyōti[n.m.;sg.,d.] jagnā[past-part.f.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] . then father explain[pres.pl.m.12hon3] I[.kī] then light wake up[past-part.f.] be[pres-perf.sg.f.23] .

209The Father explains: My light is already ignited.

190मैं तुम्हारी ज्योत जगाता हूँ . maĩ tumhārī jyōt jagātā hū̃ . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] tum[pn.pl.kī] jyōti[n.m.;sg.,d.] jagānā[pres.sg.m.1] . I you[.kī] light awaken[pres.sg.m.1] .

210I ignite your light.

191बाप को शमा भी कहते हैं . bāp kō śhamā bhī kahtē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] śhamā[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . father to Flame too say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

211The Father is also called the Light.

192ब्रह्म-समाजी फिर ज्योति को मानते हैं , सदैव ज्योत जगी रहती है , उनको ही याद करते हैं , उनको ही भगवान समझते हैं . brahm-samājī phir jyōti kō māntē haĩ , sadaiv jyōt jagī rahtī hai , unkō hī yād kartē haĩ , unkō hī bhagvān samajhtē haĩ . brahm samājī[n.m.;sg.,d.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] jyōti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kō[postp.] mānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , sadā jyōti[n.m.;sg.,d.] jagnā[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+rahnā] , vah[pn.pl.kō] hī[p.] yād karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , vah[pn.pl.kō] hī[p.] bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . 212The people of the Brahm Samajis believe in the Light; a flame is kept constantly lit. 213They only remember that; they only consider that to be God.

193दूसरे फिर समझते हैं छोटी ज्योति ( आत्मा ) बड़ी ज्योति ( परमात्मा ) में समा जायेगी . dūsrē phir samajhtē haĩ chhōṭī jyōti ( ātmā ) baṛī jyōti ( paramātmā ) mē̃ samā jāyēgī . dūsrā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] chhōṭā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] jyōti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] ( ātmā[n.f.;sg.] ) baṛā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] jyōti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] ( paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] ) mē̃[postp.] samānā[fut.f.sg.23.root+jānā] . other (turn[root]|then) understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] small light ( soul ) very light ( Supreme Soul ) in merge[fut.f.sg.23.root+jānā] .

214Others then think that each little light (each soul) will merge into the big Light (the Supreme Soul).
