2Those who have performed an elevated task have been remembered in history and are worshipped in temples.
4जरुर उन्होंने कभी राज्य भी चलाया है . jarur unhōnnē kabhī rājya bhī chalāyā hai . zarūr vah[pn.pl.nē] kabhī[adv.] rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] chalānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . definitely that[.nē] ever kingdom too x[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
3They must definitely have ruled a kingdom at some point.
5परन्तु उन्होंने कौनसा कर्म किया जो इतनी ऊंच प्रालब्ध बनाई ? parantu unhōnnē kaunsā karma kiyā jō itnī ūñch prālabdh banāī ? parantu[conj.] vah[pn.pl.nē] kaun sā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] jō[pn.;d.] itnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] prālabdh[n.f.;sg.] banānā[past-part.f.] ? however that[.nē] which deed do[past-part.m.sg.d.] that such elevated reward create[past-part.f.] ?
4But what elevated actions did they perform that they created such an elevated reward?
6उन्हों का संसार जिसे ' स्वर्ग ' कहा जाता है - यह है मनुष्यों की ऊंच ते ऊंच प्रालब्ध . unhō̃ kā saṅsār jisē ' svarg ' kahā jātā hai - yah hai manuṣhyō̃ kī|key ūñch tē ūñch prālabdh . vah[pn.pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] saṅsār[x] jō[pn.sg.kō] ' svarg[n.m.;sg.,d.] ' kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] - yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] manuṣhya[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key ūñch tē ūñch[x] prālabdh[n.f.;sg.] . that of world that[.kō] ' heaven ' (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) - this be[pres.sg.23] human being (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) highest-on-high reward .
5Their world, which is called heaven, is the highest-on-high reward.
7इतनी ऊंच प्राप्ति के लिए कोई पठन-पाठन की आवश्यकता नहीं है . itnī ūñch prāpti kē liē kōī paṭhan-pāṭhan kī|key āvaśhyaktā nahī̃ hai . itnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] prāpti[n.f.;sg.] kē liē[x] kōī[pn.;d.] paṭhan-pāṭhan[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key āvaśhyaktā[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . such elevated attainment for some education (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) need not be[pres.sg.23] .
6There is no need for an education to achieve such an elevated attainment.
8इसे कोई कर्म-श्रेष्ठ नहीं कहा जाता है . isē kōī karm-śrēṣṭha nahī̃ kahā jātā hai . yah[pn.sg.kō] kōī[pn.;d.] x nahī̃[neg] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] . this[.kō] some x not (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) .
7Those are not called elevated actions.
9प्रवृत्ति में पवित्र रहना ही कर्म-श्रेष्ठ है . pravr̥itti mē̃ pavitra rahnā hī karm-śrēṣṭha hai . pravr̥itti[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] pavitr[adj.] rahnā[inf.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] x hōnā[pres.sg.23] . famille in pure remain[inf.m.sg.d.] only x be[pres.sg.23] .
8To live in family life and remain pure is the most elevated task.
10सिर्फ विकारों को तजना है . sirph vikārō̃ kō tajnā hai . sirph[adj.] vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] tajnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . only vice to renounce[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
9You simply have to renounce the vices.
11विकार अपनी चीज नहीं हैं , प्रवृत्ति अपनी चीज है . vikār apnī chīj nahī̃ haĩ , pravr̥itti apnī chīj hai . vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] apnā[pn.ā=>ī;f.] chīz[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , pravr̥itti[n.f.;sg.] apnā[pn.ā=>ī;f.] chīz[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . vice one’s own thing not be[pres.pl.12hon3] , famille one’s own thing be[pres.sg.23] . 12तो प्रवृत्ति का सन्यास नहीं करना है . tō pravr̥itti kā sanyās nahī̃ karnā hai . tō pravr̥itti[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sannyās[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . then famille of renunciation not do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
10Vices do not belong to you, family life belongs to you, so you must not renounce family life.
13प्रवृत्ति को ही पवित्र बनाना है . pravr̥itti kō hī pavitra banānā hai . pravr̥itti[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] pavitra banānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . famille to only x .
11You have to make your family pure.
14आसुरी को दैवी बनाना है . āsurī kō daivī banānā hai . āsurī[adj.] kō[postp.] daivī[adj.] banānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . devilish to divine create[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
12You have to make those who are devilish pure.
15असुर भयानक नहीं है परन्तु विचार भयानक हैं . asur bhayānak nahī̃ hai parantu vichār bhayānak haĩ . asur[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhayānak[adj.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] parantu[conj.] vichār[x] bhayānak[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . devil fearsome not be[pres.sg.23] however x fearsome be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
13The devils themselves are not fearsome, but their ideas are fearsome.
16सिर्फ कोई का गला काटना आदि विकर्म नहीं परन्तु आज मनुष्य का हर एक कर्म ही विकर्म है . sirph kōī kā galā kāṭnā ādi vikarma nahī̃ parantu āj manuṣhya kā har ēk karma hī vikarma hai . sirph[adj.] kōī[pn.;d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] galā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.]|galānā[root]|galnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] kāṭnā[inf.m.sg.d.] ādi[adj.] vikarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] parantu[conj.] āj manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] har ēk[x] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] vikarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . only some of (throat|x[root]|x[past-part.m.sg.d.]) bite[inf.m.sg.d.] etc. sin not however today human being of each one deed only sin be[pres.sg.23] .
14Cutting someone's throat is not the only sinful action, for today every action of human beings has become a sinful action.
17ऐसा नहीं कि परमात्मा ही विकर्म आदि कराता है . aisā nahī̃ ki paramātmā hī vikarma ādi karātā hai . aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] ki[conj.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] vikarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] ādi[adj.] karānā[pres.sg.m.23] . such not that Supreme Soul only sin etc. make commit[pres.sg.m.23] .
15It isn't that God makes you commit sin.
18नहीं . nahī̃ . nahī̃[neg] . not . 19परमात्मा ने सिखाया था कि शरीर-निर्वाह करते कर्म से विकारों को निकालो . paramātmā nē sikhāyā thā ki śarīr-nirvāh kartē karma sē vikārō̃ kō nikālō . paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] sikhānā[past-perf.m.sg.] ki[conj.] x karnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] nikālnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . Supreme Soul ∅ teach[past-perf.m.sg.] that x do[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] deed from vice to x[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
16No, God has taught you how to remove the vices from your actions whilst performing actions for the livelihood of your body.
20परन्तु मनुष्य समझते हैं कि पाप के बिगर कर्म हो नहीं सकते हैं . parantu manuṣhya samajhtē haĩ ki pāp kē|K bigar karma hō nahī̃ saktē haĩ . parantu[conj.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] pāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K bigar karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . however human being understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that x (of|K) without deed (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) not can[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
17But human beings think that you cannot perform action without committing sin.
21अब तो है झूठ-खण्ड , तो सब झूठ है . ab tō hai jhūṭh-khaṇḍa , tō sab jhūṭh hai . ab[adv.] tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] jhūṭh khaṇḍ[n.m.;sg.,d.] , tō sab[adj.] jhūṭh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . now then be[pres.sg.23] land of falsehood , then all of falsehood be[pres.sg.23] .
18It is now the land of falsehood and so everyone has become false.
22साधू , सन्त , महात्मा कहलाने वाले भी झूठे संसार में हैं . sādhū , sant , mahātmā kahlānē vālē bhī jhūṭhē saṅsār mē̃ haĩ . sādhū[n.m.;sg.,d.] , sant[n.m.;sg.,d.] , mahātmā[n.f.;sg.] kahlānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bhī[p.] jhūṭhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] saṅsār[x] mē̃[postp.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . sage , holy man , great soul call[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who too false world in be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
19The sages, saints and great souls are all in the false world.
23अब परमात्मा ही आकर सच्चा साधन अर्थात् पुरुषार्थ सिखाते हैं . ab paramātmā hī ākar sachchā sādhan arthāt puruṣhārth sikhātē haĩ . ab[adv.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] ānā[abs.] sachchā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sādhan[n.m.;sg.,d.] arthāt puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] sikhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . now Supreme Soul only come[abs.] true facilities that is effort teach[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
20Now God comes and shows you the right method, that is, He inspires you to make effort.
24सब आत्माओं के चक्र की कहानी सुनाते हैं जिसको कहते हैं स्वदर्शन-चक्र . sab ātmāō̃ kē|K chakra kī|key kahānī sunātē haĩ jiskō kahtē haĩ svadarśhan-chakra . sab[adj.] ātmā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K chakra, chakkar[n.m.;sg.,d.]|chakra[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key kahānī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] sunānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] jō[pn.sg.kō] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] svadarśhan chakra[n.m.;sg.,d.] . all soul (of|K) (cycle|x) (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) x speak[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that[.kō] say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] discus of self-realisation .
21He tells you the story of the cycle of all souls, which is called the discus of self-realisation.
25बाकी कोई रावण , कंस आदि का गला काटने की बात नहीं है . bākī kōī rāvaṇ , kaṅs ādi kā galā kāṭnē kī|key bāt nahī̃ hai . bākī|bākī kōī[pn.;d.] rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] , kaṅs[x] ādi[adj.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] galā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.]|galānā[root]|galnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] kāṭnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key bāt[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . (but|others) some Ravan , Kans etc. of (throat|x[root]|x[past-part.m.sg.d.]) bite[inf.m.pl.,o.] (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) matter not be[pres.sg.23] .
22It is not a question of cutting the throat of Ravan etc.
26अब वही समय है जबकि परमात्मा समझाने फिर से आया है . ab vahī samay hai jabki paramātmā samjhānē phir sē āyā hai . ab[adv.] vahī samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] jabki paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] samjhānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] phir sē[x] ānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . now this time be[pres.sg.23] x Supreme Soul explain[inf.m.pl.,o.] again come[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
23It is now that same time when God comes to explain to us onre again.
27अब मनुष्य दुःख से निकलने चाहते हैं . ab manuṣhya duḥkh sē nikalnē chāhtē haĩ . ab[adv.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.]|duḥkhnā[root] sē[postp.] nikalnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] chāhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . now human being (sorrow|hurt[root]) from be extracted[inf.m.pl.,o.] x[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
24Human beings now wish to be liberated from sorrow.
28परन्तु कह देते हैं - परमात्मा ही दुःख-सुख देता है . parantu kah dētē haĩ - paramātmā hī duḥkh-sukh dētā hai . parantu[conj.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] - paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] sukh-duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[pres.sg.m.23] . however say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] - Supreme Soul only happiness and sorrow give[pres.sg.m.23] .
25But they say that God gives both happiness and sorrow.
29यह कहना परमात्मा पर दोष धरना है . yah kahnā paramātmā par dōṣh dharnā hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] kahnā[inf.m.sg.d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] dōṣh[n.m.;sg.,d.] dharnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . this say[inf.m.sg.d.] Supreme Soul (at|other) blame adopt[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
26To say this means to blame God.
30तो अब परमात्मा बाप कहते कि पुरुषार्थ करो . tō ab paramātmā bāp kahtē ki puruṣhārth karō . tō ab[adv.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] ki[conj.] puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . then now Supreme Soul father say[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] that effort do[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
27So now God the Father says: Make effort.
31अब आसार नजदीक दिखाई दे रहे हैं . ab āsār najdīk dikhāī dē rahē haĩ . ab[adv.] āsār[n.m.;sg.,d.] nazdīk dikhāī dēnā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] . now sign x be visible .
28The signs are now close.
32अब जगाने वाला आया है तो भी सोते रहेंगे तो क्या मिलेगा ? ab jagānē vālā āyā hai tō bhī sōtē rahē̃gē tō kyā milēgā ? ab[adv.] jagānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] ānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] tō bhī[x] sōnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] tō kyā milnā[fut.m.sg.23] ? now awaken[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who come[pres-perf.sg.m.23] ∅ sleep[fut.m.pl.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] then what receive[fut.m.sg.23] ?
29Now that the One who awakens everyone has come, what will you receive if you still continue to sleep?
33वृद्धि तो होनी ही है परन्तु विघ्न भी जरुर पड़ने हैं . vr̥iddhi tō hōnī hī hai parantu vighna bhī jarur paṛnē haĩ . vr̥iddhi[n.f.;sg.] tō hōnā[inf.f.] hī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] parantu[conj.] vighna[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] zarūr paṛnā[pres.pl.12hon3.oblig1] . growth then be[inf.f.] only be[pres.sg.23] however obstacle too definitely fall[pres.pl.12hon3.oblig1] .
30There has to be expansion but there will defmitely also be obstacles.
34सत्संग माना जहाँ विकारों से झगड़ा चले . satsaṅg mānā jahā̃ vikārō̃ sē jhagṛā|jhagaṛā chalē . satsaṅg[n.m.;sg.,d.] mānā|mānnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] jahā̃ vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] jhagṛā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.]|jhagaṛnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] chalnā[opt.sg.23]|chalnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] . spiritual gathering (means|x[past-part.m.sg.d.]) where there vice from (quarrelling|quarrel[past-part.m.sg.d.]) (continue[opt.sg.23]|continue[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) .
31A spiritual gathering means a place where there is fighting with the vices.
35इसमें इस ज्ञान का दोष ही क्या है ? ismē̃ is gyān kā dōṣh hī kyā hai ? yah[pn.sg.mē̃] yah[pn.sg.o.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] dōṣh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] kyā hōnā[pres.sg.23] ? this[.mē̃] this knowledge of blame only what be[pres.sg.23] ?
32How can you blame this knowledge for that?
36और सत्संगों में तो लड़ाई सिखाते नहीं हैं . aur satsaṅgō̃ mē̃ tō laṛāī sikhātē nahī̃ haĩ . aur satsaṅg[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] mē̃[postp.] tō laṛāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|laṛānā[past-part.f.] sikhānā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . and spiritual gathering in then (war|x[past-part.f.]) teach[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
33There are no other spiritual gatherings, where they teach you to fight.
37यहाँ सिखाने वाले सिखाते हैं और जीतने वाले जीतने के लिए युद्ध करते हैं . yahā̃ sikhānē vālē sikhātē haĩ aur jītnē vālē jītnē kē liē yuddha kartē haĩ . yahā̃ sikhānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sikhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] aur jītnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] jītnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kē liē[x] yuddh[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . here teach[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who teach[pres.pl.m.12hon3] and x[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who x[inf.m.pl.,o.] for battle do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
34Here, the Teacher is showing us how to do battle, and those who are to win are fighting for victory.
38तो यहाँ तो झगड़ा ही सौभाग्य है . tō yahā̃ tō jhagṛā|jhagaṛā hī saubhāgya hai . tō yahā̃ tō jhagṛā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.]|jhagaṛnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] saubhāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . then here then (quarrelling|quarrel[past-part.m.sg.d.]) only fortune be[pres.sg.23] .
35So here, fighthg makes you very fortunate.
39सहनशील तो बनना है . sahanśhīl tō bannā hai . sahanśhīl[adj.] tō bannā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . tolerant then become[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
36You have to be tolerant.

42इसलिए उस संसार के लिए सब कुछ करना है . isliē us saṅsār kē liē sab kuchh karnā hai . isliē vah[pn.sg.o.] saṅsār[x] kē liē[x] sab kuchh[x] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . therefore that world for everything do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
