3When we say om shanti we remind one another of Baba.

7When you walk and move around, you should remember your Father in the intellect.
8बाप कहते हैं कि बच्चे सर्वशक्तिवान मैं एक ही हूँ . bāp kahtē haĩ ki bachchē sarvśhaktivān maĩ ēk hī hū̃ . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] ki[conj.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] sarvśhaktivān[adj.] maĩ[pn.sg.d.] ēk[adj.] hī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.1] . the Father says that child Almighty Authority I one only be[pres.sg.1] .
8Baba says: Children, I alone am the Almighty Authority.
9तो पूरा राज्य-भाग्य सुख , शान्ति , शक्ति , पवित्रता सब पदार्थ मुझ एक से ही लो . tō pūrā rājya-bhāgya sukh , śhānti , śhakti , pavitratā sab padārtha mujh ēk sē hī lō|low . tō pūrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rājyabhāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] , śhānti , śhakti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] , pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] sab[adj.] padārtha[n.m.;sg.,d.] maĩ[pn.sg.o.] ēk[adj.] sē[postp.] hī[p.] lēnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|low . then full x happiness , peace , Shakti , purity all x I one from only (take[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|low) .
9So you have to claim all attainments of the fortune of the kingdom, happiness, peace, power, purity and everything from the One.
10सिर्फ शान्ति लेना कोई पदार्थ नहीं है . sirph śhānti lēnā kōī padārtha nahī̃ hai . sirph[adj.] śhānti lēnā[inf.m.sg.d.] kōī[pn.;d.] padārtha[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . only peace take[inf.m.sg.d.] some x not be[pres.sg.23] .
10Just to claim peace is not claiming everything.
11कई समझते हैं पदार्थों ने ही दुःख दिया है तब कहते हैं हमें देवता भी नहीं बनना . kaī samajhtē haĩ padārthō̃ nē hī duḥkh diyā hai tab kahtē haĩ hamē̃ dēvtā bhī nahī̃ bannā . kaī samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] padārtha[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] nē[postp.] hī[p.] duḥkhnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+dēnā] tab kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ham[pn.pl.kō] dēvtā[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] nahī̃[neg] bannā[inf.m.sg.d.] . some understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] x ∅ only hurt[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+dēnā] for only then say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] we[.kō] deity too not become[inf.m.sg.d.] .
11Many think that material objects have given sorrow, and this is why they say that they do not wish to become deities.
12कहते हैं - हम तो मुक्तिधाम में ही बैठना चाहते हैं . kahtē haĩ - ham tō muktidhām mē̃ hī baiṭhnā chāhtē haĩ . kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - ham[pn.pl.] tō muktidhām[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] hī[p.] baiṭhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.inf+cāhnā] . say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - we then land of liberation in only sit[pres.pl.m.12hon3.inf+cāhnā] .
12Instead, they say that they just wish to sit in the land of liberation.
13अरे , मुक्ति में बैठ जाना कोई स्टेज नहीं है . arē , mukti mē̃ baiṭh jānā kōī stage nahī̃ hai . arē , mukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] baiṭhnā[root] jānnā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|jānā[inf.m.sg.d.] kōī[pn.;d.] stage nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . Oh! , liberation in sit[root] (know[past-part.m.sg.d.]|go[inf.m.sg.d.]) some stage not be[pres.sg.23] .
13To sit in liberation is not a stage.
14वो तो एकदम जड़ अवस्था हुई . vō tō ēkdam jaṛ avasthā huī . vah[pn.;d.] tō ēkdam jaṛ[adj.]|jaṛ[n.f.;sg.]|jaṛnā[root] avasthā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[past-part.f.] . that then x (non-conscious|x|stud[root]) stage be[past-part.f.] .
14That is the stage of being inactive.
15उसमें कोई सुख , चैन , आराम नहीं . usmē̃ kōī sukh , chain , ārām nahī̃ . vah[pn.sg.mē̃] kōī[pn.;d.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] , chain[n.m.;sg.,d.] , ārām[x] nahī̃[neg] . that[.mē̃] some happiness , comfort , comfort not .
15There is no peace, happiness or comfort in that stage.
16वह तो शान्ति-अशान्ति से परे अवस्था है . vah tō śhānti-aśhānti sē parē avasthā hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō śhānti-aśhānti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] sē[postp.] par avasthā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that then peace and peacelessness. from other stage be[pres.sg.23] .
16That is the stage of being beyond peace and peacelessness.
17ऐसे नहीं कि वही आरामदायक है . aisē nahī̃ ki vahī ārāmdāyak hai . aisē nahī̃[x] ki[conj.] vahī ārāmdāyak[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . it isn't that that this comfortable be[pres.sg.23] .
17It doesn't mean that that is a comfortable stage.
18कइयों ने मोक्ष को ही ऊंच समझ लिया है . kaiyō̃ nē mōkṣh kō hī ūñch samajh liyā hai . kaī nē[postp.] mōkṣh[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] samajhnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+lēnā] . some ∅ eternal liberation to only elevated understand[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+lēnā] .
18Many have considered eternal liberation to be the highest.
19अनेक जन्मों से जो सुनते आये हैं तो उनका वह संस्कार पक्का हो गया है . anēk janmō̃ sē jō suntē āyē haĩ tō unkā vah saṅskār pakkā hō gayā hai . anēk[adj.] janm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] jō[pn.;d.] sunnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+ānā] tō vah[pn.pl.kā] vah[pn.sg.d.] saṅskār[x] pakkā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . many life from that listen[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+ānā] then that[.kā] that sanskar firm be[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+jānā] .
19They have been hearing about this for many births and so that sanskar has become deeply embedded.
20यहाँ भी कई आते हैं कहते हैं हमको तो योग ही अच्छा लगता है , आपका ज्ञान तो हमको समझ में नहीं आता . yahā̃ bhī kaī ātē haĩ kahtē haĩ hamkō tō yōg hī achchhā lagtā hai , āpkā gyān tō hamkō samajh mē̃ nahī̃ ātā . yahā̃ bhī[p.] kaī ānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ham[pn.pl.kō] tō yōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] achchhā lagnā[pres.sg.m.23] , āp[pn.pl.kā] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō ham[pn.pl.kō] samajh[n.f.;sg.]|samajhnā[root] mē̃[postp.] nahī̃[neg] ānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . here too some come[pres.pl.m.12hon3] say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] we[.kō] then yoga only enjoy , you[.kā] knowledge then we[.kō] (understanding|understand[root]) in not come[pres-part.m.sg.d.] .
20Many even come here and say that they just like to sit in yoga, and that they cannot understand our knowledge.
21तो हम समझ जाते हैं कि यह बेचारा ज्यादा पद पाने वाला नहीं है . tō ham samajh jātē haĩ ki yah bēchārā jyādā pad pānē vālā nahī̃ hai . tō ham[pn.pl.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] bēchārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] jyādā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pad[n.m.;sg.,d.] pānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . then we understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] that this x more status x[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who not be[pres.sg.23] .
21So we can understand that the poor soul is not going to claim a high status.
22शायद यह मुक्ति में बैठने वाला है . śhāyad yah mukti mē̃ baiṭhnē vālā hai . śhāyad yah[pn.sg.d.] mukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] baiṭhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . perhaps this liberation in sit[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who be[pres.sg.23] .
22Perhaps he is a soul who will just sit in liberation.
23यूं तो अविनाशी ज्ञान-योग का विनाश नहीं होता है , उनका मिलेगा जरूर . yū̃ tō avināśhī gyān-yōg kā vināśh nahī̃ hōtā hai , unkā milēgā jarūr . yū̃ tō avināśhī[adj.] gyān-yōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vināśh[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] , vah[pn.pl.kā] milnā[fut.m.sg.23] zarūr . x then imperishable x of destruction not be[pres.sg.m.23] , that[.kā] receive[fut.m.sg.23] definitely .
23In fact, the imperishable knowledge and yoga cannot be destroyed: a reward is definitely received.
24परन्तु पूर्ण चीज तो पूर्ण पढ़ाई से मिलेगी ना . parantu pūrṇ chīj tō pūrṇ paṛhāī sē milēgī nā . parantu[conj.] pūrṇ[adj.] chīz[n.f.;sg.] tō pūrṇ[adj.] paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] sē[postp.] milnā[fut.f.sg.23] nā . however x thing then x (study|teach[past-part.f.]) from receive[fut.f.sg.23] ∅ .
24However, you can only receive everything completely if you study fully.
25हमारी एक-एक मिनट में कितनी कमाई है ! hamārī ēk-ēk minute mē̃ kitnī kamāī hai ! ham[pn.pl.kī] ēk[adj.] minute mē̃[postp.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] kamānā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] ! we[.kī] one minute in so earn[pres-perf.sg.f.23] !
25So much is earned in every minute of ours.
26मुख्य है मन , वचन और कर्म पर अटेन्शन . mukhya hai man , vachan aur karma par attention . mukhya[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] man[n.m.;sg.,d.] , vachan[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] attention . main be[pres.sg.23] mind , word and deed (at|other) attention . 27क्योंकि मन में भी अगर व्यर्थ आता है तो वह भी समय वेस्ट होता है . kyōṅki man mē̃ bhī agar vyarth ātā hai tō vah bhī samay waste|west hōtā hai . kyōṅki man[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] agar vyarth[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[pres.sg.m.23] tō vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] waste|west hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] . because mind in too if wasteful come[pres.sg.m.23] then that too time (waste|west) be[pres.sg.m.23] .
26The main thing is to pay attention to the thoughts, words and actions, because if there are wasteful thoughts in the mind, that is also a waste of time.
28तो अपने समय की भी सेफ्टी करनी है . tō apnē samay kī|key bhī safety karnī hai . tō apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|karnā[past-part.f.]|key bhī[p.] safety karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . then one’s own time (of|do[past-part.f.]|key) too safety do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
27So you have to make good use of your time.
29उसे भी जितना हम सेफ करें उतना फायदा है . usē bhī jitnā ham safe karē̃ utnā phāydā hai . vah[pn.sg.kō] bhī[p.] jitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] ham[pn.pl.] safe karnā[opt.pl.12hon3] utnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] fāydā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that[.kō] too the more we safe do[opt.pl.12hon3] x profit be[pres.sg.23] .
28The more time we save, the more benefit there is.
30तो अपने मन-वाणी और कर्म पर सेकेण्ड-सेकेण्ड ध्यान देना है कि हम आत्मा से कोई अयोग्य कार्य न हो . tō apnē man-vāṇī aur karma par second-second dhyān dēnā hai ki ham ātmā sē kōī ayōgya kārya na hō . tō apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] man-vāṇī[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] second dhyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] kōī[pn.;d.] ayōgya[adj.] kārya[n.m.;sg.,d.] na[neg] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] . then one’s own x and deed (at|other) second attention give[pres.sg.23.oblig1] that we soul from some unworthy task not (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) .
29So you have to pay attention to your thoughts, words and actions at every second so that you do not perform any unworthy actions.
31इसलिए अपने को पूरा रूहानी वैष्णव बनना है जो कोई विकार हमारी आत्मा को न छुएं . isliē apnē kō pūrā rūhānī vaiṣhṇav bannā hai jō kōī vikār hamārī ātmā kō na chhuē̃ . isliē apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] pūrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rūhānī[adj.] vaiṣhṇav[adj.] bannā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] jō[pn.;d.] kōī[pn.;d.] vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] ham[pn.pl.kī] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] na[neg] chhūnā[opt.pl.12hon3] . therefore one’s own to full spiritual Vaishnav become[pres.sg.23.oblig1] that some vice we[.kī] soul to not touch[opt.pl.12hon3] .
30For this, you have to become a true, spiritual Vaishnav so that none of the vices can touch the soul.
32पहले रोग हैं यह पांच विकार , इन रोगों से छुटकारा पाना है . pahlē rōg haĩ yah pāñch vikār , in rōgō̃ sē chhuṭkārā pānā hai . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] rōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] yah[pn.sg.d.] pañch[adj.] vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] , in|yah[pn.pl.o.] rōg[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] chhuṭkārā[n.f.;sg.] pānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . (x|firstly) disease be[pres.pl.12hon3] this five vice , (in|this) disease from x x[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
31The first disease is that of the five vices and so you have to be liberated from this disease.
33कहते हैं ना संग तारे कुसंग बोरे . kahtē haĩ nā saṅg tārē kusaṅg bōrē . kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] nā saṅg tārē kusaṅg bōrē[x] . say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ∅ good company takes you across and bad company drowns you .
32It is said: Good company takes you across whereas bad company drowns you.
34तो विकारियों का संग ही कुसंग है जिससे बचना है . tō vikāriyō̃ kā saṅg hī kusaṅg hai jissē bachnā hai . tō vikārī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] saṅg[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] kusaṅg[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] jō[pn.sg.sē] bachnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . then vicious of company only bad company be[pres.sg.23] that[.sē] x[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
33The company of those who indulge in vire is bad company from which you have to free yourself.
35ऐसे नहीं कि सन्यासियों माफिक भाग जाना है . aisē nahī̃ ki sanyāsiyō̃ māphik bhāg jānā hai . aisē nahī̃[x] ki[conj.] sannyāsī[x] muāphik bhāg[n.m.;sg.,d.]|bhāgnā[root] jānnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23]|jānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . it isn't that that sannyasi x (part|run[root]) (know[pres-perf.sg.m.23]|go[pres.sg.23.oblig1]) .
34You should not run away like the sannyasis.
36नहीं , हमको तो उसी के बीच में रह अपने को बचाना है . nahī̃ , hamkō tō usī kē|K bīch mē̃ rah apnē kō bachānā hai . nahī̃[neg] , ham[pn.pl.kō] tō vah[pn.sg.hī] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K bīch mē̃[postp.] rahnā[root] apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] bachānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . not , we[.kō] then that[.hī] (of|K) centre in remain[root] one’s own to save[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
35No, we have to live among the family and yet save ourselves.
37हमको भी औरों के कल्याण अर्थ विकारियों के संग में आना पड़ता है . hamkō bhī aurō̃ kē|K kalyāṇ arth|earth vikāriyō̃ kē|K saṅg mē̃ ānā paṛtā hai . ham[pn.pl.kō] bhī[p.] aurō̃ kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K kalyāṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth vikārī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K saṅg[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] ānā[pres.sg.m.23.oblig2] . we[.kō] too others (of|K) benefit (meaning|earth) vicious (of|K) company in come[pres.sg.m.23.oblig2] .
36We too have to be in the company of those who indulge in vice in order to bring benefit to them.
