23When there isn't anyone observing them, they become careless.

26If each flower were to become so perfect and beautiful, the fragrance of this garden would spread so much.
29लेकिन क्यों नहीं फैलती , उसका कारण क्या ? lēkin kyō̃ nahī̃ phailtī , uskā kāraṇ kyā ? lēkin kyō̃ nahī̃[neg] phailnā[pres-part.f.] , vah[pn.sg.kā] kāraṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] kyā ? but why not spread[pres-part.f.] , that[.kā] because what ?
27But what is the reason that it doesn't spread?
30खुशबू के साथ-साथ कहाँ-कहाँ बीच में और बात भी आ जाती है . khuśhbū kē|K sāth-sāth kahā̃-kahā̃ bīch mē̃ aur bāt bhī ā jātī hai . khuśhbū[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K sāth-sāth kahā̃ bīch mē̃[postp.] aur bāt[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] ānā[pres.sg.f.23.root+jānā] . fragrance (of|K) x where centre in and matter too come[pres.sg.f.23.root+jānā] .
28Together with the fragrance, in some cases, there is also something else that comes in-between.

29No matter how much fragrance there may be, a bad odour spreads even faster than fragrance, and so the slightest smallest incident finishes all the fragrance.

30A rose is said to have an eternal fragrance.
