18The place in Bombay where they normally hold meetings is called Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan.
17अब विद्या होती है दो प्रकार की . ab vidyā hōtī hai dō prakār kī|key . ab[adv.] vidyā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.f.23] dō[adj.]|dēnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] prakār[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key . now different thing be[pres.sg.f.23] (two|give[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]) form (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) .
19There are two types of knowledge.
18एक है जिस्मानी विद्या , जो स्कूलों-कॉलेजों में दी जाती है . ēk hai jismānī vidyā , jō skūlō̃-kôlējō̃ mē̃ dī jātī hai . ēk[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] jismānī[adj.] vidyā[n.f.;sg.] , jō[pn.;d.] school-college[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] mē̃[postp.] dēnā[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|dēnā[pres.sg.f.23.passive] . one be[pres.sg.23] worldly different thing , that school and college in (give[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|give[pres.sg.f.23.passive]) .
20One is worldly knowledge which is given in schools and colleges.
19अब उसको विद्या भवन कहते हैं . ab uskō vidyā bhavan kahtē haĩ . ab[adv.] vah[pn.sg.kō] vidyā[n.f.;sg.] bhavan[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . now that[.kō] different thing Bhavan say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
21They call that Vidhya (knowledge) Bhavan.

23People don't know what knowledge is. 24This should be Spiritual Knowledge Bhavan.
22यह तो रूहानी विद्या भवन होना चाहिए . yah tō rūhānī vidyā bhavan hōnā chāhiē . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō rūhānī[adj.] vidyā[n.f.;sg.] bhavan[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|hōnā[.oblig3] . this then spiritual different thing Bhavan (be[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|be[.oblig3]) .
25Gyan is called knowledge.
23विद्या ज्ञान को कहा जाता है . vidyā gyān kō kahā jātā hai . vidyā[n.f.;sg.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] . different thing knowledge to (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) . 24परमपिता परमात्मा ही ज्ञान सागर है . parampitā paramātmā hī gyān sāgar hai . parampitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] gyān sāgar[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . 26Only the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is the Ocean of Knowledge.
Krishna to x not say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
27Krishna cannot be called the Ocean of Knowledge.
26शिवबाबा की महिमा अलग , कृष्ण की महिमा अलग है . śhivbābā kī|key mahimā alag , kr̥iṣhṇa kī|key mahimā alag hai . śhivbābā karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key mahimā[n.f.;sg.] alag[adj.] , kr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key mahimā[n.f.;sg.] alag[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . 28The praise of Krishna is separate from the praise of Shiv Baba.
27भारतवासी मूँझ पड़े हैं . bhāratvāsī mūnjh paṛē haĩ . bhāratvāsī[adj.] mūnjhnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] . people of Bharat be confused[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] .
29The people of Bharat are confused.
28गीता का भगवान् कृष्ण को समझ बैठे हैं तो विद्या भवन आदि खोलते रहते हैं . gītā kā bhagvān kr̥iṣhṇa kō samajh baiṭhē haĩ tō vidyā bhavan ādi khōltē rahtē haĩ . gītā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhagvān[x] kr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] samajhnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+baiṭhnā] tō vidyā[n.f.;sg.] bhavan[n.m.;sg.,d.] ādi[adj.] khōlnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] . 30They consider the God of the Gita to be Shri Krishna, and so they continue to open Vidhya Bhavans (places of knowledge).
30विद्या है गीता का ज्ञान . vidyā hai gītā kā gyān . vidyā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] gītā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] . different thing be[pres.sg.23] Gita of knowledge .
31They don't understand anything.
. that knowledge then be[pres.sg.23] only one father in .
32That knowledge is the knowledge of the Gita.
32जिसको ज्ञान का सागर कहा जाता है , जिसे मनुष्यमात्र जानते नहीं हैं . jiskō gyān kā sāgar kahā jātā hai , jisē manuṣhya mātra jāntē nahī̃ haĩ . jō[pn.sg.kō] gyān kā sāgar[x] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] , jō[pn.sg.kō] manuṣhya mātra[n.m.;sg.,d.] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . that[.kō] x (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) , that[.kō] x know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
33Only the one Father who is called the Ocean of Knowledge has that knowledge. 34Human beings do not know this.
33भारतवासियों का धर्म शास्त्र तो वास्तव में है ही एक - सर्व शास्त्रमई शिरोमणी भगवत गीता . bhāratvāsiyō̃ kā dharm śhāstra tō vāstav mē̃ hai hī ēk - sarv śhāstramaī śhirōmaṇī bhagavat gītā . bhāratvāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] dharm[n.m.;sg.,d.] śhāstra[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō vāstav mē̃[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] ēk[adj.] - sarv[adj.] śhāstramaī[adj.] śhirōmaṇī[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhagvat[adj.] gītā[n.f.;sg.] . people of Bharat of religion scripture then x be[pres.sg.23] only one - all jewel of the scriptures x x Gita .
35In fact, the religious scripture of the people of Bharat is just the one Bhagawad Gita which is the jewel of all scriptures.
34अब भगवान् किसको कहा जाए ? ab bhagvān kiskō kahā jāē ? ab[adv.] bhagvān[x] kaun[pn.sg.kō] kahnā[opt.sg.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[opt.sg.23.passive] ? now God who[.kō] (say[opt.sg.23.past-part+jānā]|say[opt.sg.23.passive]) ?
36Who can be called God?
35वह भी इस समय भारतवासी समझते नहीं या तो कृष्ण को कह देते हैं या राम को या अपने को ही परमात्मा कह देते . vah bhī is samay bhāratvāsī samajhtē nahī̃ yā tō kr̥iṣhṇa kō kah dētē haĩ yā rām kō yā apnē kō hī paramātmā kah dētē . vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] is samay[x] bhāratvāsī[adj.] samajhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] yā tō kr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] yā rām[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] yā apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[root] dēnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . that too at this time people of Bharat understand[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not or then Krishna to say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] or Rama to or one’s own to only Supreme Soul say[root] give[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .
37The people of Bharat don't even understand this at this time. 38They call Krishna or Rama or themselves the Supreme Soul.
36अब तो समय भी तमोप्रधान है , रावण राज्य है ना . ab tō samay bhī tamōpradhān hai , rāvaṇ rājya hai nā . ab[adv.] tō samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] tamōpradhān[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , rāvaṇ rājya[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] nā . now then time too tamopradhan be[pres.sg.23] , kingdom of Ravan be[pres.sg.23] ∅ .
39It is now the tamopradhan period; it is the kingdom of Ravan.
37तुम बच्चे जब किसको समझाते हो तो बोलो शिव भगवानुवाच . tum bachchē jab kiskō samjhātē hō tō bōlō śhiv bhagvānuvāch . tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] jab kaun[pn.sg.kō] samjhānā[pres.pl.m.2] tō bōlnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] śhiv bhagvānuvāch . you child when who[.kō] explain[pres.pl.m.2] then speak[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] Shiva God speaks .
40When you children explain to anyone, tell them: God Shiva speaks.
38पहले तो यह समझें कि ज्ञान सागर एक ही परमपिता परमात्मा है , जिसका नाम है शिव . pahlē tō yah samajhē̃ ki gyān sāgar ēk hī parampitā paramātmā hai , jiskā nām hai śhiv . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] tō yah[pn.sg.d.] samajhnā[opt.pl.12hon3] ki[conj.] gyān sāgar[x] ēk[adj.] hī[p.] parampitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , jō[pn.sg.kā] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] śhiv . (x|firstly) then this understand[opt.pl.12hon3] that Ocean of Knowledge one only Supreme Father Supreme Soul be[pres.sg.23] , that[.kā] name be[pres.sg.23] Shiva .
41First of all, they should understand that only the one Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is the Ocean of Knowledge and that He is called Shiva.
39शिवरात्रि भी मनाते हैं , परन्तु किसको भी समझ में नहीं आता है . śhivrātri bhī manātē haĩ , parantu kiskō bhī samajh mē̃ nahī̃ ātā hai . śhivrātri[x] bhī[p.] manānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , parantu[conj.] kaun[pn.sg.kō] bhī[p.] samajh[n.f.;sg.]|samajhnā[root] mē̃[postp.] nahī̃[neg] ānā[pres.sg.m.23] . Shiva Ratri too celebrate[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , however who[.kō] too (understanding|understand[root]) in not come[pres.sg.m.23] .
42People even celebrate the night of Shiva (Shiv Ratri), but no one is able to understand anything.
40जरूर शिव आया हुआ है तब तो रात्रि मनाते हैं . jarūr śhiv āyā huā hai tab tō rātri manātē haĩ . zarūr śhiv ānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] tab tō rātri[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] manānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . definitely Shiva come[past-part.m.sg.d.] be[pres-perf.sg.m.23] for only then then night celebrate[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
43Shiva must certainly have come. 44This is why they celebrate His night.
41शिव कौन है - यह भी नहीं जानते . śhiv kaun hai - yah bhī nahī̃ jāntē . śhiv kaun[pn.;d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] - yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . Shiva who be[pres.sg.23] - this too not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .
