167One desire after another will continue to arise and desires do not give the experience of being constantly content.

168Those who are not unhappy still do not experience selfless love for God, a loving life, soul-conscious love or God's love.

165लौकिक कार्य तो निमित्त मात्र करना ही पड़ता है लेकिन दिल में लगन याद और सेवा की रहे . laukik kārya tō nimitt mātra karnā hī paṛtā hai lēkin dil mē̃ lagan yād aur sēvā kī rahē . laukik[adj.] kārya[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō nimitt[n.m.;sg.,d.] mātra karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] paṛnā[pres.sg.m.23] lēkin dil[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] lagan[n.m.;sg.,d.] yād[n.f.;sg.] aur sēvā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[opt.sg.23.past-part+rahnā] . worldly task then instrument just do[inf.m.sg.d.] only fall[pres.sg.m.23] but heart in love remembrance and service do[opt.sg.23.past-part+rahnā] .
181A worldly job has to be done for the sake of it, but let there be love in your heart for having remembrance and for doing service.
