205People think that these three virtues exist at the same time, but what does reason tell us? 206Have these three virtues continued to exist at the same time, or is the part of each of the three virtues separate in each age?
189विवेक तो ऐसे ही कहता है कि यह तीनों गुण इकट्ठे नहीं चलते जब सतयुग है तो सतोगुण है , द्वापर है तो रजोगुण है और कलियुग है तो तमोगुण है . vivēk tō aisē hī kahtā hai ki yah tīnō̃ guṇ ikaṭṭhē nahī̃ chaltē jab satyug hai tō satōguṇ hai , dvāpar hai tō rajōguṇ hai aur kaliyug hai tō tamōguṇ hai . vivēk[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hī[p.] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] tīnō̃[adj.] guṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] ikaṭṭhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nahī̃[neg] chalnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] jab satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō satō, satōguṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , dvāpar hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō rajō ou rajōguṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] aur kaliyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō tamō ou tamōguṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . x then such only say[pres.sg.m.23] that this all three virtue together not continue[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] when golden age be[pres.sg.23] then sato be[pres.sg.23] , copper age be[pres.sg.23] then x be[pres.sg.23] and iron age be[pres.sg.23] then x be[pres.sg.23] .
207Reasoning says that these three virtues do not exist at the same time. 208When it is the golden age (satyug), it is satoguni, when it is the copper age, it is rajoguni and when it is the iron age, it is tamoguni.
190जब सतो है तो तमो रजो नहीं , जब रजो है तो फिर सतोगुण नहीं है . jab satō hai tō tamō rajō nahī̃ , jab rajō hai tō phir satōguṇ nahī̃ hai . jab satō, satōguṇ hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō tamō ou tamōguṇ rajō ou rajōguṇ nahī̃[neg] , jab rajō ou rajōguṇ hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] satō, satōguṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . when sato be[pres.sg.23] then x x not , when x be[pres.sg.23] then (then|turn[root]) sato not be[pres.sg.23] .
209When it is sato, it is not then rajo or tamo. 210When it is rajo, it is not satoguni.

215The world has continued in this way. 216When we say that it is the golden age, it means that the whole world is satoguni and satopradhan.
194अब जब हम सतयुग कहते हैं तो इसका मतलब है सारी सृष्टि पर सतोगुण सतोप्रधान चाहिए . ab jab ham satyug kahtē haĩ tō iskā matlab hai sārī sr̥iṣhṭi par satōguṇ satōpradhān chāhiē . ab[adv.] jab ham[pn.pl.] satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō yah[pn.sg.kā] matlab[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] sārā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] satō, satōguṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] satōpradhān[adj.] chāhiē|chāhnā[imp.pl.2hon] . now when we golden age say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then this[.kā] x be[pres.sg.23] the whole world (at|other) sato satopradhan (should|x[imp.pl.2hon]) .
217Yes, there used to be the golden age like that at one time when the whole world was satoguni. 218That satyug (golden age) does not exist now.
195हाँ , कोई समय ऐसा सतयुग था जहाँ सारा संसार सतोगुणी था . hā̃ , kōī samay aisā satyug thā jahā̃ sārā saṅsār satōguṇī thā . hā̃ , kōī[pn.;d.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[past.m.sg] jahā̃ sārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] saṅsār[x] satōguṇī[adj.] hōnā[past.m.sg] . yes , some time such golden age be[past.m.sg] where there the whole world satoguni be[past.m.sg] .
219Now, it is the iron-aged world which means the whole world is the tamopradhan kingdom.
196अब वो सतयुग नहीं है , अभी तो है कलियुगी दुनिया गोया सारी सृष्टि पर तमोप्रधानता का राज्य है . ab vō satyug nahī̃ hai , abhī tō hai kaliyugī duniyā gōyā sārī sr̥iṣhṭi par tamōpradhāntā kā rājya hai . ab[adv.] vah[pn.;d.] satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , ab[adv.hī] tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] kaliyugī[adj.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] goyā sārā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] tamōpradhāntā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . now that golden age not be[pres.sg.23] , now then be[pres.sg.23] iron-aged world x the whole world (at|other) tamopradhan stage of kingdom be[pres.sg.23] .
220How can there be anything satoguni in the tamopradhan world? 221There is now extreme darkness which is called the night of Brahma.
197इस तमोगुणी समय पर फिर सतोगुण कहाँ से आया ! is tamōguṇī samay par phir satōguṇ kahā̃ sē āyā ! yah[pn.sg.o.] tamoguṇī[adj.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] satō, satōguṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahā̃ sē[postp.] ānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] ! this x time (at|other) (then|turn[root]) sato where from come[past-part.m.sg.d.] ! 198अब है घोर अन्धियारा जिसको ब्रह्मा की रात कहते हैं . ab hai ghōr andhiyārā jiskō brahmā kī rāt kahtē haĩ . ab[adv.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] ghōr[adj.] andhiyārā, andhērā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] jō[pn.sg.kō] brahmā kī rāt[x] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . now be[pres.sg.23] extreme darkness that[.kō] night of Brahma say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
222The day of Brahma is the golden age and the night of Brahma is the iron age, so we cannot combine the two.
, tō ham[pn.pl.] dōnō̃ kō[postp.] milnā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|milānā[root] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . day of Brahma be[pres.sg.23] golden age and night of Brahma be[pres.sg.23] iron age , then we x to (receive[past-part.m.sg.d.]|x[root]) not can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .
2232) To take you from the iron-aged, tasteless world to the essence-full golden-aged world is the task of God alone. 224Why is the iron-aged world called the tasteless world?
2002 ) कलियुगी असार संसार से सतयुगी सार वाली दुनिया में ले चलना , एक परमात्मा का ही काम है : इस कलियुगी संसार को असार संसार क्यों कहते हैं ? 2 ) kaliyugī asār saṅsār sē satyugī sār vālī duniyā mē̃ lē chalnā , ēk paramātmā kā hī kām hai : is kaliyugī saṅsār kō asār saṅsār kyō̃ kahtē haĩ ? 2 ) kaliyugī[adj.] asār[adj.] saṅsār[x] sē[postp.] satyugī[adj.] sār[n.m.;sg.,d.] vālā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] lē chalnā[x] , ēk[adj.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hī[p.] kām[n.m.;sg.,d.]|kām[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] : yah[pn.sg.o.] kaliyugī[adj.] saṅsār[x] kō[postp.] asār[adj.] saṅsār[x] kyō̃ kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ? 2 ) iron-aged x world from golden-aged essence those who world in x[x] , one Supreme Soul of only (task|lust) be[pres.sg.23] : this iron-aged world to x world why say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ?
225Because this world has no essence in it, that is, nothing has any strength left, that is, there is no happiness, peace or purity; there isn’t the happiness, peace and purity that there used to be in the world.
201क्योंकि इस दुनिया में कोई सार नहीं है माना कोई भी वस्तु में वो ताकत नहीं रही अर्थात् सुख शान्ति पवित्रता नहीं है , जो इस सृष्टि पर कोई समय सुख शान्ति पवित्रता थी . kyōṅki is duniyā mē̃ kōī sār nahī̃ hai mānā kōī bhī vastu mē̃ vō tākat nahī̃ rahī arthāt sukh śhānti pavitratā nahī̃ hai , jō is sr̥iṣhṭi par kōī samay sukh śhānti pavitratā thī . kyōṅki yah[pn.sg.o.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] kōī[pn.;d.] sār[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] mānā|mānnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] kōī bhī[x] vastu[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] vah[pn.;d.] tākat[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] rahnā[past-part.f.] arthāt sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] śhānti pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , jō[pn.;d.] yah[pn.sg.o.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] kōī[pn.;d.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] śhānti pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[past.f] . because this world in some essence not be[pres.sg.23] (means|x[past-part.m.sg.d.]) anyone thing in that power not remain[past-part.f.] that is happiness peace purity not be[pres.sg.23] , that this world (at|other) some time happiness peace purity be[past.f] .
226There isn’t that strength anymore because this world has the five vices in it. 227Therefore, this world is called the ocean of fear and the ocean of karmic bondages. 228This is why people are unhappy and call out to God. 229God, take us across the ocean to the other side.
202अब वो ताकत नहीं हैं क्योंकि इस सृष्टि में 5 भूतों की प्रवेशता है इसलिए ही इस सृष्टि को भय का सागर अथवा कर्मबन्धन का सागर कहते हैं इसलिए ही मनुष्य दुःखी हो परमात्मा को पुकार रहे हैं , परमात्मा हमको भव सागर से पार करो इससे सिद्ध है कि जरुर कोई अभय अर्थात् निर्भयता का भी संसार है जिसमें चलना चाहते हैं इसलिए इस संसार को पाप का सागर कहते हैं , जिससे पार कर पुण्य आत्मा वाली दुनिया में चलना चाहते हैं . ab vō tākat nahī̃ haĩ kyōṅki is sr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ 5 bhūtō̃ key|kī pravēśhtā hai isliē hī is sr̥iṣhṭi kō bhay kā sāgar athavā karmbandhan kā sāgar kahtē haĩ isliē hī manuṣhya duḥkhī hō paramātmā kō pukār rahē haĩ , paramātmā hamkō bhav sāgar sē pār karō issē siddha hai ki jarur kōī abhay arthāt nirbhayatā kā bhī saṅsār hai jismē̃ chalnā chāhtē haĩ isliē is saṅsār kō pāp kā sāgar kahtē haĩ , jissē pār kar puṇya ātmā vālī duniyā mē̃ chalnā chāhtē haĩ . ab[adv.] vah[pn.;d.] tākat[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] kyōṅki yah[pn.sg.o.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] 5 bhūt[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] pravēśh[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] isliē hī[p.] yah[pn.sg.o.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] bhay[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sāgar[n.m.;sg.,d.] athavā karmbandhan[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sāgar[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] isliē hī[p.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] duḥkhnā[pres-perf.pl.f.2] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] pukārnā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] , paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] ham[pn.pl.kō] bhav|bhav[n.m.;sg.,d.] sāgar[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] pār karnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] yah[pn.sg.sē] siddh[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] ki[conj.] zarūr kōī[pn.;d.] x arthāt nirbhayatā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] saṅsār[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] jō[pn.sg.mē̃] chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.inf+cāhnā] isliē yah[pn.sg.o.] saṅsār[x] kō[postp.] pāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sāgar[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , jō[pn.sg.sē] pār karnā[root] puṇya[n.m.;sg.,d.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] vālā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.inf+cāhnā] . now that power not be[pres.pl.12hon3] because this world in 5 evil spirit (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) entry be[pres.sg.23] therefore only this world to fear of ocean that is karmic bondages of ocean say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] therefore only human being hurt[pres-perf.pl.f.2] Supreme Soul to call[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] , Supreme Soul we[.kō] (may you be|x) ocean from x[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] this[.sē] successful be[pres.sg.23] that definitely some x that is x of too world be[pres.sg.23] that[.mē̃] continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.inf+cāhnā] therefore this world to x of ocean say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , that[.sē] x[root] charity soul those who world in continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.inf+cāhnā] .
230This proves that there definitely is a world that is without fear, that is, there is a world without fear to which they want to go.
203तो दुनियायें दो हैं , एक सतयुगी सार वाली दुनिया दूसरी है कलियुगी असार की दुनिया . tō duniyāyē̃ dō haĩ , ēk satyugī sār vālī duniyā dūsrī hai kaliyugī asār key|kī duniyā . tō duniyā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] dēnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|dō[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , ēk[adj.] satyugī[adj.] sār[n.m.;sg.,d.] vālā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] dūsrā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] kaliyugī[adj.] asār[adj.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] . then world (give[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|two) be[pres.pl.12hon3] , one golden-aged essence those who world other be[pres.sg.23] iron-aged x (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) world .
231This is why this world is called the ocean of sin, which they want to leave and go across to the world of charitable souls.
204दोनों दुनियायें इस सृष्टि पर होती हैं . dōnō̃ duniyāyē̃ is sr̥iṣhṭi par hōtī haĩ . dōnō̃ duniyā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] yah[pn.sg.o.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.f.12hon3] . x world this world (at|other) be[pres.pl.f.12hon3] . 205अभी परमात्मा वह सार वाली दुनिया स्थापन कर रहे हैं . abhī paramātmā vah sār vālī duniyā sthāpan kar rahē haĩ . ab[adv.hī] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] vah[pn.sg.d.] sār[n.m.;sg.,d.] vālā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] sthāpanā, sthāpan[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] . now Supreme Soul that essence those who world establishment do[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] .
232So, there are two worlds: one is the essence-full golden-aged world and the other is the tasteless, iron-aged world. 233Both worlds exist on this earth.
206अच्छा - ओम् शान्ति . achchhā - ōm śhānti . achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] - ōm śhānti[x] . achcha - Om Shanti .
234God is now establishing that essence-full world. 235Achcha.
