12Firstly, you children heard in the song: Baba, we will sacrifice ourselves to You, no matter how many assaults we have to tolerate.
16लौकिक सम्बन्ध में तो अपने को जानते हैं . laukik sambandh mē̃ tō apnē kō jāntē haĩ . laukik[adj.] sambandh[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] tō apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . worldly relationship in then one’s own to know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
13Why are there assaults? 14Because human beings don't receive poison (vice).
17बाप को भी जानते हैं . bāp kō bhī jāntē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] bhī[p.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . father to too know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . 18इस समय के मनुष्य अपने को और पारलौकिक बाप को बिल्कुल ही नहीं जानते हैं . is samay K|kē manuṣhya apnē kō aur pārlaukik bāp kō bilkul hī nahī̃ jāntē haĩ . is samay[x] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] aur pārlaukik bāp[x] kō[postp.] bilkul[adv.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . at this time (K|of) human being one’s own to and x to at all only not know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
15You children know that, previously, you neither knew about souls nor the Supreme Soul; you neither knew yourselves nor the Father.
19कह देते हैं परमात्मा का तो कोई नाम रूप देश काल है ही नहीं . kah dētē haĩ paramātmā kā tō kōī nām rūp dēśh kāl hai hī nahī̃ . kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] tō kōī[pn.;d.] nām rūp[x] dēśh[n.m.;sg.,d.] kal hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] . say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] Supreme Soul of then some name and form land x be[pres.sg.23] only not .
16Therefore, it was as though you had animal intellects. 17In worldly terms, you know yourselves and your fathers.
20तो फिर आत्मा का भी नहीं होना चाहिए . tō phir ātmā kā bhī nahī̃ hōnā chāhiē . tō phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|hōnā[.oblig3] . then (then|turn[root]) soul of too not (be[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|be[.oblig3]) . 21आत्मा को भी वे लोग जानते ही नहीं . ātmā kō bhī vē|way lōg jāntē hī nahī̃ . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] bhī[p.] vah[pn.pl.d.]|way log[n.m.;sg.,d.] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] . soul to too (that|x) people know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] only not .
18Human beings of this time neither know themselves nor the Father from beyond this world at all.
22कह देते आत्मा सो परमात्मा . kah dētē ātmā sō paramātmā . kahnā[root] dēnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] sō|sōnā[root] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] . say[root] give[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] soul (x|sleep[root]) Supreme Soul . 23अभी तुमने जाना है . abhī tumnē jānā hai . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.nē] jānnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23]|jānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . now you[.nē] (know[pres-perf.sg.m.23]|go[pres.sg.23.oblig1]) .
19They say that God doesn't have a name, form, land or time.
24वह तो सिर्फ नाम मात्र कह देते हैं आत्मा और जीव है . vah tō sirph nām mātra kah dētē haĩ ātmā aur jīv hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō sirph[adj.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] mātra kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] aur jīv[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that then only name just say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] soul and life be[pres.sg.23] .
20Therefore, none of those things would be there for souls either.
25आत्मा अविनाशी है , जीव विनाशी है . ātmā avināśhī hai , jīv vināśhī hai . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] avināśhī[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , jīv[adj.] vināśhī[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . soul imperishable be[pres.sg.23] , life perishable be[pres.sg.23] .
21They don't know about souls at all.
26अच्छा आत्मा क्या चीज़ है , उनका रूप रंग क्या है . achchhā ātmā kyā chīz hai , unkā rūp raṅg kyā hai . achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kyā chīz[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.pl.kā] rūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] raṅgnā[root]|raṅg[n.m.;sg.,d.] kyā hōnā[pres.sg.23] . achcha soul what thing be[pres.sg.23] , that[.kā] Rup (x[root]|colour) what be[pres.sg.23] .
22They say that each soul is the Supreme Soul. 23You now know.
27नाम तो जानते हैं कि आत्मा है परन्तु वह कैसी है , क्या करती है ? nām tō jāntē haĩ ki ātmā hai parantu vah kaisī hai , kyā kartī hai ? nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] parantu[conj.] vah[pn.sg.d.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , kyā karnā[pres.sg.f.23] ? name then know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that soul be[pres.sg.23] however that how be[pres.sg.23] , what do[pres.sg.f.23] ? 28कैसे-कैसे पार्ट बजाती है ? kaisē-kaisē part bajātī hai ? kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] part bajānā[pres.sg.f.23] ? how play one's part ?
24They simply say for the sake of it that there is the soul and the being; that the soul is imperishable and the being is perishable.
29कितना समय पार्ट बजाती है ? kitnā samay part bajātī hai ? kitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] part bajānā[pres.sg.f.23] ? so time play one's part ?
25What is a soul? 26What is his form and colour?

27They know his name is soul, but no one can explain what he is like, what he does, what type of part he plays or for how long he plays his part.
32आत्मा में ही सारा 84 जन्मों का पार्ट अविनाशी नूँधा हुआ है . ātmā mē̃ hī sārā 84 janmō̃ kā part avināśhī nūndhā huā hai . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] hī[p.] sārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] 84 janm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] part[n.m.;sg.,d.] avināśhī[adj.] nūndhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . soul in only the whole 84 life of part imperishable x be[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
28No one can give any knowledge of souls. 29You now know that a soul is a tiny star.
33शंकराचार्य की आत्मा भी अपना पार्ट बजा रही है . śhaṅkarāchārya key|kī ātmā bhī apnā part bajā rahī hai . śhaṅkarāchārya[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.]|apnānā[root] part bajānā[pres.sg.f.prog.23] . x (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) soul too (one’s own|adopt[root]) play one's part .
30An imperishable part of 84 births is recorded in a soul. 31The Shankaracharya soul is also playing his own part.
34यह भी कोई नहीं जानते कि आत्मा कैसे सतोप्रधान फिर सतो रजो तमो में आती है . yah bhī kōī nahī̃ jāntē ki ātmā kaisē satōpradhān phir satō rajō tamō mē̃ ātī hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] kōī[pn.;d.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] ki[conj.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] satōpradhān[adj.] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] satō, satōguṇ rajō ou rajōguṇ tamō ou tamōguṇ mē̃[postp.] ānā[pres.sg.f.23] . this too some not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] that soul how satopradhan (then|turn[root]) sato x x in come[pres.sg.f.23] .
