14You have been making so much effort on the path of devotion, but there was no need for it.

44जो श्रीमत पर नहीं चलते , उनको धारणा हो न सके . jō śhrīmat par nahī̃ chaltē , unkō dhārṇā hō na sakē . jō[pn.;d.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] nahī̃[neg] chalnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] , vah[pn.pl.kō] dhārṇā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] na[neg] saknā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|saknā[opt.sg.23] . that shrimat (at|other) not continue[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] , that[.kō] dharna (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) not (can[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|can[opt.sg.23]) .
44Those who do not follow shrimat cannot imbibe this knowledge.

45Shrimat says to such souls: You are not able to explain at all.
