5If there isn’t happiness, there is definitely some impurity, that is, some thoughts or deeds are not correct and this is why there isn’t happiness.
6अपवित्रता सिर्फ 5 विकारों को नहीं कहा जाता . apavitratā sirph 5 vikārō̃ kō nahī̃ kahā jātā . apavitratā[n.f.;sg.] sirph[adj.] 5 vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] nahī̃[neg] kahnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] jānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . impurity only 5 vice to not say[past-part.m.sg.d.] go[pres-part.m.sg.d.] .
6Impurity does not just mean the five vices.

13And, to what extent do you have spiritual happiness, imperishable happiness and inner happiness?

14The aim of all the Brahmin children who adopt this Brahmin life is to remain constantly happy.

15You have become Brahmins in order to lead a life of happiness. 16You have not become Brahmins to make effort laboriously or always to be experiencing one form of upheaval or another.
15रूहानी आन्तरिक खुशी वा अतीन्द्रिय सुख जो सारे कल्प में नहीं प्राप्त हो सकता है वह प्राप्त करने के लिए ब्राह्मण बने हो . rūhānī āntarik khuśhī vā atīndriya sukh jō sārē kalp mē̃ nahī̃ prāpt hō saktā hai vah prāpt karnē kē liē brāhmaṇ banē hō . rūhānī[adj.] āntarik[adj.] khuśhī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] vā atīndriya[adj.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] jō[pn.;d.] sārā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kalp[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] nahī̃[neg] prāpt[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+saknā] vah[pn.sg.d.] prāpt[adj.] karnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kē liē[x] brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[pres-perf.pl.m.2] . spiritual internal happiness or x happiness that the whole cycle in not reached be[pres.sg.m.23.root+saknā] that reached do[inf.m.pl.,o.] for Brahmin become[pres-perf.pl.m.2] .
17You have become Brahmins in order to attain spiritual, inner happiness and supersensuous joy which cannot be attained throughout the rest of the whole cycle.

18However, you have to check that your happiness is not based on any facilities, limited attainment, temporary success, respect or glory, or limited desires of the mind you have received, or because you like a particular person, place or possession. 19Check that your happiness is not based on your personal likings.

20The happiness based on those things is not real happiness; it is not imperishable happiness.

21If the support shakes, your happiness also shakes.
20ऐसी खुशी प्राप्त करने के लिए ब्राह्मण नहीं बने हो . aisī khuśhī prāpt karnē kē liē brāhmaṇ nahī̃ banē hō . aisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] khuśhī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] prāpt[adj.] karnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kē liē[x] brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] bannā[pres-perf.pl.m.2] . such happiness reached do[inf.m.pl.,o.] for Brahmin not become[pres-perf.pl.m.2] .
22You have not become Brahmins to attain that sort of happiness.
21अल्पकाल की प्राप्ति द्वारा खुशी यह तो दुनिया वालों के पास भी है . alpkāl kī|key prāpti dvārā khuśhī yah tō duniyā vālō̃ kē pās bhī hai . alpkāl[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key prāpti[n.f.;sg.] dvārā khuśhī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] yah[pn.sg.d.] tō duniyā[n.f.;sg.] vālā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kē pās[x] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . temporary period (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) attainment through happiness this then world those who to too be[pres.sg.23] .
23Even people of the world have happiness based on temporary attainments.
22उन्हों का भी स्लोगन है खाओ पियो मौज करो . unhō̃ kā bhī slōgan hai khāō piyō mauj karō . vah[pn.pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] slogan hōnā[pres.sg.23] khānā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] pīnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] mauj[n.f.;sg.] karnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . that of too slogan be[pres.sg.23] eat[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] drink[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] pleasure do[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
24Their slogan is also: Eat, drink and be merry!

25However, when that temporary support ends, their happiness also ends.

32मनपसन्द , संकल्प पसन्द प्राप्ति हुई तो बहुत खुशी है . manpasand , saṅkalp pasand prāpti huī tō bahut khuśhī hai . man pasand[adj.] , saṅkalp[n.m.;sg.,d.] pasand[n.f.;sg.] prāpti[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[past-part.f.] tō bahut khuśhī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . liked by oneself , thought love attainment be[past-part.f.] then very happiness be[pres.sg.23] .
36If they attain something they like or their thoughts are fulfilled, then they are very happy.

37If there is something lacking even slightly, they become stuck and their aim remains on one side.

38Their aim becomes limited and they therefore step away from unlimited, imperishable happiness.
35तो बापदादा बच्चों से पूछते हैं कि क्या ब्राह्मण इसलिए बने हो ? tō bāpdādā bachchō̃ sē pūchhtē haĩ ki kyā brāhmaṇ isliē banē hō ? tō bāpdādā bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] pūchhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] kyā brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] isliē bannā[pres-perf.pl.m.2] ? then BapDada child from ask[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that what Brahmin therefore become[pres-perf.pl.m.2] ?
39So, BapDada was asking: Is this why you have become Brahmins? 40Is this why you have adopted this spiritual life?
36इसलिए यह रूहानी जीवन अपनाई है ? isliē yah rūhānī jīvan apnāī hai ? isliē yah[pn.sg.d.] rūhānī[adj.] jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] apnānā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] ? therefore this spiritual life adopt[pres-perf.sg.f.23] ?
41That is an ordinary life!

42That is not called an elevated life.

43No matter what work you do, no matter how big the service task is that you are carrying out, anything that brings you down from attaining inner happiness, spiritual pleasure and unlimited happiness, that is, anything that brings you into the limited that, if today there is pleasure and tomorrow there is confusion, today there is happiness and tomorrow you are put into a turmoil, if it deprives you of happiness then put aside that service but do not let go of your happiness.

44Real service always gives you the experience of an unlimited stage and unlimited happiness.
41अगर ऐसी अनुभूति नहीं है तो वह मिक्स सेवा है . agar aisī anubhūti nahī̃ hai tō vah mix sēvā hai . agar aisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] anubhūti[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō vah[pn.sg.d.] mix sēvā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . if such experience not be[pres.sg.23] then that x service be[pres.sg.23] .
45If there isn’t this experience, then that service is mixed.
42सच्ची सेवा नहीं है . sachchī sēvā nahī̃ hai . sachchā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sēvā[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . true service not be[pres.sg.23] .
46That is not real service.
43यह लक्ष्य सदैव रखो कि सेवा द्वारा स्वउन्नति , स्व प्राप्ति , सन्तुष्टता और महानता की अनुभूति हुई ? yah lakṣhya sadaiv rakhō ki sēvā dvārā svaunnati , sva prāpti , santuṣhṭatā aur mahāntā kī|key anubhūti huī ? yah[pn.sg.d.] lakṣhya[adj.] sadā rakhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] ki[conj.] sēvā[n.f.;sg.] dvārā svaunnati[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] , sva prāpti[n.f.;sg.] , santuṣhṭatā[n.f.;sg.] aur mahāntā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key anubhūti[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[past-part.f.] ? this aim constantly keep[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] that service through x , x attainment , contentment and x (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) experience be[past-part.f.] ?
47Always keep the aim of experiencing self-progress, attainment for the self, contentment and greatness by doing service.

48Where there is the greatness of contentment, there will be the experience of imperishable attainment.

50Service means to experience the flower garden and not to become trapped in the jungle of thorns.

51Some lack of attainment, lack of pleasure or confusion in the mind - to experience pleasure one moment and to become confused the next - these are thorns. 52To step away from these thorns means to experience unlimited happiness.
