3Bhagats say thanks to God, but there is no question of saying thanks to Him.

4We have now truly found God, our Father, and we have become His children.
6तो वर्सा पाने का यत्न ( पुरुषार्थ ) करना है . tō varsā pānē kā yatn ( puruṣhārth ) karnā hai . tō varsā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] pānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] yatn[n.m.;sg.,d.] ( puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] ) karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . then inheritance x[inf.m.pl.,o.] of try ( effort ) do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
5So we have to try to claim our inheritance.

6We have to follow at every step the directions that we have received from Him in the same way as obedient children follow their parents' directions.
9आज्ञा भी कौनसी है ? āgyā bhī kaunsī hai ? āgyā[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] kaun sā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] ? order too which be[pres.sg.23] ?
7Which directions?
10पवित्र रहकर पवित्र बनाओ . pavitra rahkar pavitra banāō . pavitr[adj.] rahnā[abs.] pavitra banānā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . pure remain[abs.] x .
8To remain pure and make others pure.
11पवित्रता को भी हम जानते हैं कि पवित्रता कितने तक है ? pavitratā kō bhī ham jāntē haĩ ki pavitratā kitnē tak hai ? pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] bhī[p.] ham[pn.pl.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] tak hōnā[pres.sg.23] ? purity to too we know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that purity so until be[pres.sg.23] ?
9We know about purity and to what extent we have to become pure.
12जैसे अपवित्रता हमको गहराई में ले गई है जिससे कर्म का खाता भी ऐसे ही बन गया है . jaisē apavitratā hamkō gahrāī mē̃ lē gaī hai jissē karma kā khātā bhī aisē hī ban gayā hai . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] apavitratā[n.f.;sg.] ham[pn.pl.kō] gahrāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] lē jānā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] jō[pn.sg.sē] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|khātā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] bhī[p.] aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hī[p.] bannā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . like impurity we[.kō] depths in carry that[.sē] deed of (eat[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|account) too such only become[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+jānā] .
10Impurity has taken us to the very depths and due to this even our karmic accounts are full of impurity.
13अब फिर उस अपवित्रता के खाते को काटना है . ab phir us apavitratā kē|K khātē kō kāṭnā hai . ab[adv.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] vah[pn.sg.o.] apavitratā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K khānā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.]|khātā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] kō[postp.] kāṭnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . now (turn[root]|then) that impurity (of|K) (eat[pres-part.m.pl.,o.]|account) to bite[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
11We now have to cut away the account of impurity.
14पांच विकार जो कर्मों में चले गये हैं उनको निकालना है . pāñch vikār jō karmō̃ mē̃ chalē gayē haĩ unkō nikālnā hai . pañch[adj.] vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] jō[pn.;d.] karm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] mē̃[postp.] chalnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|chalnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.passive] vah[pn.pl.kō] nikālnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . five vice that deed in (continue[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|continue[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.passive]) that[.kō] x[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
12We have to remove the five vices which have penetrated our actions.
15विकारों को सिर्फ छोड़ना नहीं है , परन्तु उनसे जो खाता बन चुका है उनको भी साफ करना है . vikārō̃ kō sirph chhōṛnā nahī̃ hai , parantu unsē jō khātā ban chukā hai unkō bhī sāph karnā hai . vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] sirph[adj.] chhōṛnā[inf.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , parantu[conj.] vah[pn.pl.sē] jō[pn.;d.] khānā[root.pres-part+bannā] chuknā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] vah[pn.pl.kō] bhī[p.] sāph karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . vice to only renounce[inf.m.sg.d.] not be[pres.sg.23] , however that[.sē] that eat[root.pres-part+bannā] x[pres-perf.sg.m.23] that[.kō] too x .
13We do not just have to renounce the vices, but also clear the accounts that have been created through them.
16विकारों ने सारा अपना बना लिया है . vikārō̃ nē sārā apnā banā liyā hai . vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] nē[postp.] sārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] apnānā[root]|apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bannā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+lēnā]|banānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+lēnā] . vice ∅ the whole (adopt[root]|one’s own) (become[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+lēnā]|create[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+lēnā]) .
14The vices have made you belong to them totally.
17विकारों का राज्य है . vikārō̃ kā rājya hai . vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . vice of kingdom be[pres.sg.23] . 18उसको पलटाना है . uskō palṭānā hai . vah[pn.sg.kō] palṭānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . that[.kō] turn around[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
15It has become the kingdom of the vices, and now that has to be changed.
19सिर्फ ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करना - यह कोई बड़ी बात नहीं . sirph brahmcharya kā pālan karnā - yah kōī baṛī bāt nahī̃ . sirph[adj.] brahmcharya[x] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pālan[adj.] karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] - yah[pn.sg.d.] kōī[pn.;d.] baṛā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] . only celibacy of x do[inf.m.sg.d.] - this some very matter not . 20परन्तु उन विकारों से जो खाता बना है उनको खत्म करना है . parantu un vikārō̃ sē jō khātā banā hai unkō khatm karnā hai . parantu[conj.] vah[pn.pl.o.] vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] jō[pn.;d.] khānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.pres-part+bannā] vah[pn.pl.kō] ḵẖatm[adj.] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . however that vice from that eat[pres-perf.sg.m.23.pres-part+bannā] that[.kō] finished do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
16Simply, to observe celibacy is not a big thing, but you also have to finish the accounts that have been created through the vices.
21सन्यासी भल छोड़कर गये लेकिन पिछला विकर्मों का खाता उनको छोड़ता नहीं . sanyāsī bhal chhōṛkar gayē lēkin pichhlā vikarmō̃ kā khātā unkō chhōṛtā nahī̃ . sannyāsī[x] bhal chhōṛnā[abs.] jānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] lēkin pichhlā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vikarm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|khātā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] vah[pn.pl.kō] chhōṛnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] . sannyasi although renounce[abs.] go[past-part.m.pl.,o.] but past sin of (eat[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|account) that[.kō] renounce[pres-part.m.sg.d.] not .
17The sannyasis may have renounced everything and run away, but the account of vices does not leave them.
22भल जो करते हैं उनका उजूरा मिलता है - जो जन्म लेकर फिर भी सन्यासियों के संग में चले जाते हैं . bhal jō kartē haĩ unkā ujūrā miltā hai - jō janm lēkar phir bhī sanyāsiyō̃ kē|K saṅg mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ . bhal jō[pn.;d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] vah[pn.pl.kā] ujūrā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] - jō[pn.;d.] janm[n.m.;sg.,d.]|janamnā[root] lēnā[abs.] phir bhī[x] sannyāsī[x] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K saṅg[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive] . although that do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that[.kā] return receive[pres.sg.m.23] - that (life|be born[root]) take[abs.] nevertheless sannyasi (of|K) company in (continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive]) .
18Though they receive the return of whatever they do in their next birth, they go and take birth and again go away to stay in the company of sannyasis.
23परन्तु नाते को काटते नहीं हैं . parantu nātē kō kāṭtē nahī̃ haĩ . parantu[conj.] nātā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] kō[postp.] kāṭnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . however relationship to bite[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
19They do not break their relationships.
24वह तो फिर भी विकारियों के पास जन्म लेते रहते हैं . vah tō phir bhī vikāriyō̃ kē pās janma lētē rahtē haĩ . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō phir bhī[x] vikārī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kē pās[x] janma lēnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] . that then nevertheless vicious to x .
20They still take birth to those who indulge in vice.
25परन्तु अब तो हम बाप द्वारा कर्मो की गति को जानते हैं . parantu ab tō ham bāp dvārā karmō kī|key gati kō jāntē haĩ . parantu[conj.] ab[adv.] tō ham[pn.pl.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] dvārā karm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key gati[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kō[postp.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . however now then we father through deed (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) speed to know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
21However, we now know the deep philosophy of karma.
26हमको डबल काम करना है . hamkō double kām karnā hai . ham[pn.pl.kō] double kām[n.m.;sg.,d.]|kām[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . we[.kō] double (task|lust) do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
22We have to perform a double task.
27भविष्य का भी ऐसा खाता बनाना है जो पिछले कर्म का कुछ रहे नहीं . bhaviṣhya kā bhī aisā khātā banānā hai jō pichhlē karma kā kuchh rahē nahī̃ . bhaviṣhya[adj.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|khātā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] banānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] jō[pn.;d.] pichhlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kuchh rahnā[opt.sg.23]|rahnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] . future of too such (eat[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|account) create[pres.sg.23.oblig1] that past deed of anything (remain[opt.sg.23]|remain[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) not .
23We have to create an account for the future so that nothing of the past remains.
28एक तरफ बनाना भी है और फिर पिछले बने हुए को भी साफ भी करना है . ēk taraph banānā bhī hai aur phir pichhlē banē huē kō bhī sāph bhī karnā hai . ēk taraph[x] banānā[inf.m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] aur phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] pichhlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bannā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|bannā[opt.sg.23] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] kō[postp.] bhī[p.] sāph[adj.] bhī[p.] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . x create[inf.m.sg.d.] too be[pres.sg.23] and (turn[root]|then) past (become[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|become[opt.sg.23]) be[past-part.m.pl.,o.] to too clean too do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
24On the one hand we have to create an account and we also have to clear the past account.
29हमारी प्रालब्ध इसीलिए ऊंची है . hamārī prālabdh isīliē ūñchī hai . ham[pn.pl.kī] prālabdh[n.f.;sg.] isīliē ūñch[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . we[.kī] reward x elevated be[pres.sg.23] .
25This is why our reward is elevated.
30इसलिए इस पुरुषार्थ में समय लगता है . isliē is puruṣhārth mē̃ samay lagtā hai . isliē yah[pn.sg.o.] puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] lagnā[pres.sg.m.23] . therefore this effort in time x[pres.sg.m.23] .
26This is why this effort takes time.
31परन्तु सर्व समर्थ बाप मिला है तो सब सहज कर देता है . parantu sarv samarth bāp milā hai tō sab sahaj kar dētā hai . parantu[conj.] sarv[adj.] samarth[adj.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] milnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] tō sab[adj.] sahaj[adj.] karnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+dēnā] . however all powerful father receive[pres-perf.sg.m.23] then all easy do[pres.sg.m.23.root+dēnā] .
27We have found the All-Powerful Father who makes everything easy.
32बाप कहते हैं कि मेरी याद में रहो . bāp kahtē haĩ ki mērī yād mē̃ rahō . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] ki[conj.] maĩ[pn.sg.kī] yād[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] rahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . the Father says that I[.kī] remembrance in remain[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
28Baba says: Stay in My remembrance.
33याद से भी बल मिलता है , पवित्रता से भी बल मिलता है . yād sē bhī bal miltā hai , pavitratā sē bhī bal miltā hai . yād[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] bhī[p.] bal[n.m.;sg.,d.] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] , pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] bhī[p.] bal[n.m.;sg.,d.] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] . remembrance from too strength receive[pres.sg.m.23] , purity from too strength receive[pres.sg.m.23] .
29You receive power through remembrance and also through purity.
34फिर जो कुछ मिलता है वह दान भी करना है . phir jō kuchh miltā hai vah dān bhī karnā hai . phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] jō kuchh[x] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] vah[pn.sg.d.] dān[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . (turn[root]|then) whatever receive[pres.sg.m.23] that donation too do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
30Then, you also have to donate whatever you receive.
35तो दान से भी बल मिलता है . tō dān sē bhī bal miltā hai . tō dān[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] bhī[p.] bal[n.m.;sg.,d.] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] . then donation from too strength receive[pres.sg.m.23] .
31So you also receive power through giving donation.
36इस प्रकार बल को जमा करना है . is prakār bal kō jamā karnā hai . yah[pn.sg.o.] prakār[n.m.;sg.,d.] bal[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] jamā karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . this form strength to accumulate .
32You,have to accumulate power in this way.
37और फिर जितना हम प्रैक्टिकल में इन सब बातों को लायेंगे तो यह हुई उनकी शुक्रिया . aur phir jitnā ham practical mē̃ in sab bātō̃ kō lāyēṅgē tō yah huī unkī śhukriyā . aur phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] jitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] ham[pn.pl.] practical mē̃[postp.] yah[pn.pl.o.]|in sab[adj.] bāt[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] lānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] tō yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[past-part.f.] vah[pn.pl.kī] śhukriyā . and (turn[root]|then) the more we practical in (this|in) all matter to x[fut.m.pl.12hon3] then this be[past-part.f.] that[.kī] Shukriya .
33We thank Him by bringing all these things into practice.
38बाकी महिमा की तो कोई बात नहीं है . bākī mahimā kī|key tō kōī bāt nahī̃ hai . bākī|bākī mahimā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key tō kōī[pn.;d.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . (but|others) praise (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) then some matter not be[pres.sg.23] .
34But there is no question of singing His praise.
39महिमा भी कर्त्तव्य के ऊपर है . mahimā bhī karttavya kē ūpar hai . mahimā[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] kartavya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kē ūpar[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . praise too activity over be[pres.sg.23] .
35His praise is based on His activity.
40उसने ऐसा ऊंचा पार्ट बजाया है . usnē aisā ūñchā part bajāyā hai . vah[pn.sg.nē] aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] part bajānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . that[.nē] such elevated play one's part .
36He has played such an elevated part.
41वह अपना कर्त्तव्य करते हुए बाप , बाप है . vah apnā karttavya kartē huē bāp , bāp hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] apnānā[root]|apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kartavya[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] , bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that (adopt[root]|one’s own) activity do[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] be[past-part.m.pl.,o.] father , father be[pres.sg.23] .
37Even whilst carrying out His activities, the Father is the Father.
42ऐसे नहीं कि हम भी वह कर्त्तव्य करते हैं तो हम भी बाप हो गये . aisē nahī̃ ki ham bhī vah karttavya kartē haĩ tō ham bhī bāp hō gayē . aisē nahī̃[x] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.] bhī[p.] vah[pn.sg.d.] kartavya[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō ham[pn.pl.] bhī[p.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o..root+jānā] . it isn't that that we too that activity do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then we too father be[past-part.m.pl.,o..root+jānā] .
38But it does not mean that if we carry out the same task, we are also the Father.

44भल अपने कर्म से हम ऊंचे बनते हैं . bhal apnē karma sē ham ūñchē bantē haĩ . bhal apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] ham[pn.pl.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . although one’s own deed from we elevated become[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
40We become elevated through our actions.

41All other human beings are confused about this.
46उनके गुण और कर्त्तव्य को ही मिला दिया है . unkē guṇ aur karttavya kō hī milā diyā hai . vah[pn.pl.kē] guṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur kartavya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] milnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+dēnā]|milānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+dēnā] . that[.kē] virtue and activity to only (receive[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+dēnā]|x[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+dēnā]) .
42They have mixed up His virtues and His activity.
47ऐसे नहीं कि वह कब बिगड़ता है और फिर बनता है . aisē nahī̃ ki vah kab bigaṛtā hai aur phir bantā hai . aisē nahī̃[x] ki[conj.] vah[pn.sg.d.] kab bigaṛnā[pres.sg.m.23] aur phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] bannā[pres.sg.m.23] . it isn't that that that when be spoilt[pres.sg.m.23] and (turn[root]|then) become[pres.sg.m.23] .
43It isn't that He becomes degraded and then puts Himself right.
48लेकिन हम ही बिगड़ते और बनते हैं . lēkin ham hī bigaṛtē aur bantē haĩ . lēkin ham[pn.pl.] hī[p.] bigaṛnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] aur bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . but we only be spoilt[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] and become[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
44We become degraded and then we reform ourselves.
49वह तो सदा बना हुआ है . vah tō sadā banā huā hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō sadā bannā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|banānā[root] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . that then constantly (become[past-part.m.sg.d.]|create[root]) be[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
45He is always righteous.

47You must not become confused about these things.

53उसे या तो चुक्तू करना है या तो सहज ज्ञान-बल से काटना है . usē yā tō chuktū karnā hai yā tō sahaj jñān-bal sē kāṭnā hai . vah[pn.sg.kō] yā tō chuktū karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] yā tō sahaj[adj.] x sē[postp.] kāṭnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . that[.kō] or then settled do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] or then easy x from bite[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
49You must either settle them or cut them away with the power of easy knowledge.
54इसके लिए तो हम पुरुषार्थ कर रहे हैं . iskē liē tō ham puruṣhārth kar rahē haĩ . yah[pn.sg.kē] lēnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|liē tō ham[pn.pl.] puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] . this[.kē] (take[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|for) then we effort do[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] .
50This is what we are making effort for.
55जब तक यह शरीर है , इस शरीर का होना माना हिसाब-किताब है . jab tak yah śharīr hai , is śharīr kā hōnā mānā hisāb-kitāb hai . jab tak[x] yah[pn.sg.d.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , yah[pn.sg.o.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[inf.m.sg.d.] mānā|mānnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hisāb-kitāb[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . as long as this body be[pres.sg.23] , this body of be[inf.m.sg.d.] (means|x[past-part.m.sg.d.]) accounts be[pres.sg.23] .
51Whilst we have this body, it means we have karmic accounts.
56फिर यह शरीर नहीं रहेगा . phir yah śharīr nahī̃ rahēgā . phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] yah[pn.sg.d.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] rahnā[fut.m.sg.23] . (turn[root]|then) this body not remain[fut.m.sg.23] .
52Then this body will not remain.
57हम कर्म की गति को बहुत विस्तार से जानते हैं कि किस कर्म से अकर्म और विकर्म बनता है . ham karma kī|key gati kō bahut vistār sē jāntē haĩ ki kis karma sē akarma aur vikarma bantā hai . ham[pn.pl.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key gati[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kō[postp.] bahut vistār[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] kyā[pn.sg.o.]|kaun[pn.sg.o.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] akarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur vikarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[pres.sg.m.23] . we deed (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) speed to very expansion from know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that (what|who) deed from neutral action and sin become[pres.sg.m.23] .
53We know the philosophy of karma in great depth: which karma becomes neutral and which karma becomes sinful.
58यह हमारा दैवी ब्राह्मणपन का संबंध है . yah hamārā daivī brāhmaṇpan kā sambandh hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] ham[pn.pl.kā] daivī[adj.] brāhmaṇpanā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sambandh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this we[.kā] divine Brahmin of relationship be[pres.sg.23] .
54In this respect, we are Brahmins who are becoming deities.

Brahmin of importance too deed over be[pres.sg.23] that such deed do[pres.pl.12hon3.oblig1] and such dharna keep[inf.m.pl.,o.] from effort achcha be[pres.sg.m.23] .
55The other aspect is that of our past accounts, Brahmins have importance because of their karma, and so by performing such karma and by imbibing this knowledge, your effort will be very good.
61यह भी ख्याल रखना है कि वही धर्मराज है जिसके पास सारे हिसाब-किताब का खाता है . yah bhī khyāl rakhnā hai ki vahī dharmarāj hai jiskē pās|pass sārē hisāb-kitāb kā khātā hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] khyāl[n.m.;sg.,d.] rakhnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ki[conj.] vahī dharmrāj hōnā[pres.sg.23] jō[pn.sg.kē] pās|pass sārā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hisāb-kitāb[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khānā[pres.sg.m.23] . this too thought keep[pres.sg.23.oblig1] that this x be[pres.sg.23] that[.kē] (x|pass) the whole accounts of eat[pres.sg.m.23] .
56You also have to remember that tie is Dharamraj and has our karmic accounts.
62अच्छे कर्म कराकर ऊंची प्रालब्ध बनाना उनका काम है . achchhē karma karākar ūñchī prālabdh banānā unkā kām hai . achchhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] karānā[abs.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ī;f.] prālabdh[n.f.;sg.] banānā[inf.m.sg.d.] vah[pn.pl.kā] kām[n.m.;sg.,d.]|kām[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . achcha deed make commit[abs.] elevated reward create[inf.m.sg.d.] that[.kā] (task|lust) be[pres.sg.23] .
57To inspire us to perform good karma and create our reward is His task.
63अच्छे का अच्छा फल देने वाला – चाहे अल्पकाल के लिए , चाहे सदाकाल के लिए – देने वाला वह हो गया . achchhē kā achchhā phal dēnē vālā – chāhē alpkāl kē liē , chāhē sadākāl kē liē – dēnē vālā vah hō gayā . achchhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] phal[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] – chāhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|chāhē|chāhnā[opt.sg.23] alpkāl[n.m.;sg.,d.] kē liē[x] , chāhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|chāhē|chāhnā[opt.sg.23] sadākāl kē liē[x] – dēnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+jānā] . achcha of achcha fruit give[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who – (x[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|whether|x[opt.sg.23]) temporary period for , (x[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|whether|x[opt.sg.23]) x for – give[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who that be[past-part.m.sg.d..root+jānā] .
58He is the One who gives a good reward for good karma; whether it is for a temporary period or for all time, He is the One who gives.
64वह चैतन्य रुप में अब उपस्थित है . vah chaitanya rup mē̃ ab upasthit hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] chaitanya[n.m.;sg.,d.] rūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] ab[adv.] upasthit[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that living Rup in now x be[pres.sg.23] .
59He is now present in living form.
65अभी पिछला खाता माइनस और भविष्य का खाता प्लस हो सकता है . abhī pichhlā khātā minus aur bhaviṣhya kā khātā plus hō saktā hai . ab[adv.hī] pichhlā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|khātā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] minus aur bhaviṣhya[adj.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|khātā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] plus hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+saknā] . now past (eat[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|account) substract and future of (eat[pres-part.m.sg.d.]|account) x be[pres.sg.m.23.root+saknā] .
60Now we can reduce the past accounts and increase our future accounts.
66अब कुछ रियायत हो सकती है . ab kuchh riyāyat hō saktī hai . ab[adv.] kuchh riyāyat[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.f.23.root+saknā] . now anything x be[pres.sg.f.23.root+saknā] .
61Something can be done at this time.
67लेकिन बाप की हैसियत में भी तो सपूत बनकर अपना फर्ज पालन करना है . lēkin bāp kī|key haisiyat mē̃ bhī tō sapūt bankar apnā pharja pālan karnā hai . lēkin bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key haĩsiyat[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] tō sapūt[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[abs.] apnānā[root]|apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] farj[n.m.;sg.,d.] pālan[adj.] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . but father (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) personality in too then worthy become[abs.] (adopt[root]|one’s own) duty x do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
62But in relationship with the Father, you have to be worthy and fulfil your duty.
68अब हम जो भी मन-वचन-कर्म से कदम उठा रहे हैं , तो हम जानते हैं इस कर्म से क्या होगा और उससे क्या होगा ? ab ham jō bhī man-vachan-karma sē kadam uṭhā rahē haĩ , tō ham jāntē haĩ is karma sē kyā hōgā aur ussē kyā hōgā ? ab[adv.] ham[pn.pl.] jō[pn.;d.] bhī[p.] man-vachan-karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] kadam[n.m.;sg.,d.] uṭhānā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] , tō ham[pn.pl.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] yah[pn.sg.o.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] kyā hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] aur vah[pn.sg.sē] kyā hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] ? now we that too thoughts, words and deeds from step uplift[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] , then we know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] this deed from what be[fut.m.sg.23] and that[.sē] what be[fut.m.sg.23] ?
63We now perform karma through our thoughts, words and actions and we know what will happen through these actions.
69विस्तार सहित बाप ने हिसाब-किताब बताया है . vistār sahit bāp nē hisāb-kitāb batāyā hai . vistār[n.m.;sg.,d.] sahit bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] hisāb-kitāb[n.f.;sg.] batānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . expansion including father ∅ accounts tell[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .

66The first vice is that of body-consciousness.

67That is the chief of all the enemies.'This is why Baba says: By being soul-conscious, the other enemies will not come.
74देही-अभिमानी में विकार हैं नहीं . dēhī-abhimānī mē̃ vikār haĩ nahī̃ . dēhī-abhimānī[adj.] mē̃[postp.] vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] nahī̃[neg] . soul conscious in vice be[pres.pl.12hon3] not .
68Those who are soul-conscious do not have any vices.
75फिर स्मृति रहेगी कि हम उनकी सन्तान हैं , तो विकार नहीं आयेंगे . phir smr̥iti rahēgī ki ham unkī santān haĩ , tō vikār nahī̃ āyēṅgē . phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] smr̥iti[n.f.;sg.] rahnā[fut.f.sg.23] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.] vah[pn.pl.kī] santān[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , tō vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] ānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . (turn[root]|then) awareness remain[fut.f.sg.23] that we that[.kī] child be[pres.pl.12hon3] , then vice not come[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
69You then have the consciousness that you are His children and so the vices do not come to you.
76शुद्ध अहंकार रहेगा . śhuddha ahaṅkār rahēgā . śhuddh[x] ahaṅkār[n.m.;sg.,d.] rahnā[fut.m.sg.23] . pure arrogance remain[fut.m.sg.23] .
70You then have pure pride.
77मनुष्य तो सिर्फ कहते हैं - जैसा कर्म वैसा फल . manuṣhya tō sirph kahtē haĩ - jaisā karma vaisā phal . manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō sirph[adj.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - jaisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] vaisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] phal[n.m.;sg.,d.] . human being then only say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - like deed x fruit .
71Human beings Simply say: As their actions, so the reward.
78लेकिन करते नहीं हैं . lēkin kartē nahī̃ haĩ . lēkin karnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . but do[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
72But they do not do anything.
79अब शरीर को कुछ होता है तो हम जानते हैं कि यह देह-अभिमान-वश है . ab śharīr kō kuchh hōtā hai tō ham jāntē haĩ ki yah dēh-abhimān-vaś hai . ab[adv.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] kuchh hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] tō ham[pn.pl.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] x hōnā[pres.sg.23] . now body to anything be[pres.sg.m.23] then we know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that this x be[pres.sg.23] .
73When something happens to the body, we know that that is due to body-consciousness.
80तो हम फिर बॉडी-कॉन्सेस में आकर ऐसे न करें . tō ham phir body-conscious mē̃ ākar aisē na karē̃ . tō ham[pn.pl.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] body conscious mē̃[postp.] ānā[abs.] aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] na[neg] karnā[opt.pl.12hon3] . then we (turn[root]|then) body conscious in come[abs.] such not do[opt.pl.12hon3] .
74So we should not perform any such karma out of body-consciousness.
81हमारी बुद्धि में है कि यह ड्रामा है . hamārī buddhi mē̃ hai ki yah drama hai . ham[pn.pl.kī] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] drama hōnā[pres.sg.23] . we[.kī] intellect in be[pres.sg.23] that this drama be[pres.sg.23] .
75It is in our intellect that this is the drama.
82भले गाली देते हैं लेकिन उनका भी यह गाली देने का पार्ट है . bhalē gālī dētē haĩ lēkin unkā bhī yah gālī dēnē kā part hai . bhalā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] gālī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] dēnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] lēkin vah[pn.pl.kā] bhī[p.] yah[pn.sg.d.] gālī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] dēnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] part[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . benefit insult give[pres.pl.m.12hon3] but that[.kā] too this insult give[inf.m.pl.,o.] of part be[pres.sg.23] .
76Though people insult God, it is their part in the drama to insult Him.
83हमको फिर उन्हें सही रास्ते पर लाने का पुरुषार्थ करना है . hamkō phir unhē̃ sahī rāstē par lānē kā puruṣhārth karnā hai . ham[pn.pl.kō] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] vah[pn.pl.kō] sahī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] rāstā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] lānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . we[.kō] (turn[root]|then) that[.kō] x path (at|other) x[inf.m.pl.,o.] of effort do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
77We then have to make effort to bring them onto the right path.

88तो ऐसी धारणा को बुद्धि में रखना है . tō aisī dhārṇā kō buddhi mē̃ rakhnā hai . tō aisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] dhārṇā[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] rakhnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . then such dharna to intellect in keep[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
81You have to imbibe such things in your intellect.
89यह है कर्म की गति का ज्ञान . yah hai karma kī|key gati kā gyān . yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key gati[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] . this be[pres.sg.23] deed (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) speed of knowledge .

90एक बात को उठाने से सब बातें आ जाती हैं . ēk bāt kō uṭhānē sē sab bātē̃ ā jātī haĩ . ēk[adj.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] uṭhānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] sab[adj.] bāt[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] ānā[pres.pl.f.12hon3.root+jānā] . one matter to uplift[inf.m.pl.,o.] from all matter come[pres.pl.f.12hon3.root+jānā] .

91किसी व्यक्ति में मोह है तो वह भी पिछले कर्मबन्धन का खाता हो गया . kisī vyakti mē̃ mōh hai tō vah bhī pichhlē karmbandhan kā khātā hō gayā . kuchh[pn.sg.o.]|kōī[pn.sg.o.] vyakti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] mōh[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] pichhlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] karmbandhan[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khānā[x] jānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] . (anything|some) x in attachment be[pres.sg.23] then that too past karmic bondages of eat[x] go[past-part.m.sg.d.] .
84If there is attachment to any individual, that is also a karmic account of the past.
92बाप द्वारा कर्मों की गति को जान कर अभी सम्भलते रहना है . bāp dvārā karmō̃ kī gati kō jān kar abhī sambhaltē rahnā hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] dvārā karmō̃ kī gati[x] kō[postp.] jān[n.m.;sg.,d.]|jānnā[root] karnā[root] ab[adv.hī] sambhalnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] rahnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . father through x to (x|know[root]) do[root] now be cautious[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] remain[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
