9Whose praise did you hear?

17When a body is shed, they say that the soul has left.

22It is souls that do everything but, because you become body conscious again and again, you say, “I am so-and-so” or “I am doing this.”
26वास्तव में करती सब आत्मा है . vāstav mē̃ kartī sab ātmā hai . vāstav mē̃[x] karnā[pres-part.f.] sab[adj.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . x do[pres-part.f.] all soul be[pres.sg.23] .

25Even sages etc. understand that a soul is extremely subtle and resides in the centre of the forehead.
29परन्तु उनको यह ज्ञान नहीं है कि आत्मा में यह पार्ट बजाने के संस्कार हैं . parantu unkō yah gyān nahī̃ hai ki ātmā mē̃ yah part bajānē kē|K saṅskār haĩ . parantu[conj.] vah[pn.pl.kō] yah[pn.sg.d.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] ki[conj.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] yah[pn.sg.d.] part[n.m.;sg.,d.] bajānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K saṅskār[x] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . however that[.kō] this knowledge not be[pres.sg.23] that soul in this part play[inf.m.pl.,o.] (of|K) sanskar be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

30कोई कहते - आत्मा में संस्कार होते नहीं , आत्मा निर्लेप है . kōī kahtē - ātmā mē̃ saṅskār hōtē nahī̃ , ātmā nirlēp hai . kōī[pn.;d.] kahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] - ātmā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] saṅskār[x] hōnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] , ātmā[n.f.;sg.] nirlēp[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . some say[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] - soul in sanskar be[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not , soul immune to the effect of action be[pres.sg.23] .
27Some say that souls don’t have sanskars because souls are immune to the effect of action.
31कोई कहते - संस्कारों अनुसार जन्म मिलता है . kōī kahtē - saṅskārō̃ anusār janm miltā hai . kōī[pn.;d.] kahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] - saṅskār[x] anusār janm[n.m.;sg.,d.]|janamnā[root] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] . some say[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] - sanskar according to (life|be born[root]) receive[pres.sg.m.23] . 32मतभेद बहुत है . matbhēd bahut hai . matbhēd[n.m.;sg.,d.] bahut hōnā[pres.sg.23] . having conflict very be[pres.sg.23] .

29There are many conflicting opinions! 30No one knows which souls take 84 births.

33Now, who can make souls pure?
37पतित-पावन ऊंच ते ऊंच एक ही बाप है , उनकी महिमा सबसे ऊंच है . patit-pāvan ūñch tē ūñch ēk hī bāp hai , unkī mahimā sabsē ūñch hai . patit pāvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] ūñch tē ūñch[x] ēk[adj.] hī[p.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.pl.kī] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] sabsē ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . Purifier highest-on-high one only father be[pres.sg.23] , that[.kī] praise the most elevated be[pres.sg.23] .
34Only the one highest-on-high Father is the Purifier. 35His praise is the highest of all.
3884 जन्म सब तो नहीं लेते . 84 janm sab tō nahī̃ lētē . 84 janm[n.m.;sg.,d.]|janamnā[root] sab[adj.] tō nahī̃[neg] lēnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . 84 (life|be born[root]) all then not take[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

45The Father says: Just as you are souls, so I too am a soul.

77मैं भी आऊंगा तब , जब रावण राज्य खत्म होना होगा . maĩ bhī āūṅgā tab , jab rāvaṇ rājya khatm hōnā hōgā . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] ānā[fut.m.sg.1] tab , jab rāvaṇ rājya[x] ḵẖatm[adj.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23.oblig1] . I too come[fut.m.sg.1] for only then , when kingdom of Ravan finished be[fut.m.sg.23.oblig1] .
75I only come when the kingdom of Ravan is about to end.
78मैं आता भी हूँ - संगम युगे . maĩ ātā bhī hū̃ - saṅgam yugē . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] ānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.1] - saṅgam[n.m.;sg.,d.] yug[x] . I come[pres-part.m.sg.d.] too be[pres.sg.1] - confluence age .
