21There can be no trace of sorrow there. 22This is why it is sung that everyone remembers God in times of sorrow, but no one remembers Him in times of happiness.

23For half a cycle, when there is sorrow, everyone remembers Him.
23सतयुग में अथाह सुख हैं , तो वहाँ सिमरण नहीं करते हैं . satyug mē̃ athāh sukh haĩ , tō vahā̃ simraṇ nahī̃ kartē haĩ . satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] athāh[adj.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , tō vahā̃ simraṇ[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . golden age in x happiness be[pres.pl.12hon3] , then there remembrance not do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
24In the golden age, there is infinite happiness, so no one there remembers Him.

25Because human beings now have stone intellects, they don’t understand anything.
25कलियुग में तो अथाह दुःख हैं . kaliyug mē̃ tō athāh duḥkh haĩ . kaliyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] tō athāh[adj.] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . iron age in then x (hurt[root]|sorrow) be[pres.pl.12hon3] . 26कितनी मारामारी है . kitnī mārāmārī hai . kitnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] mārā-mārī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . so fight hard be[pres.sg.23] .

27कितने भी पढ़े लिखे विद्धान हैं , परन्तु इन गीतों का अर्थ बिल्कुल नहीं जानते हैं . kitnē bhī paṛhē likhē viddhān haĩ , parantu in gītō̃ kā arth|earth bilkul nahī̃ jāntē haĩ . kitnā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bhī[p.] paṛhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|paṛhnā[opt.sg.23] likhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|likhnā[opt.sg.23] vidvān[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , parantu[conj.] in|yah[pn.pl.o.] gīt[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth bilkul[adv.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . so too (study[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|study[opt.sg.23]) (write[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|write[opt.sg.23]) scholar be[pres.pl.12hon3] , however (in|this) x of (meaning|earth) at all not know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
27No matter how learned scholars are, they don’t understand the meaning of these songs at all.
28गाते हैं तुम मात पिता . . . परन्तु समझते नहीं हैं कि कौन से माता पिता की महिमा है . gātē haĩ tum māt pitā . . . parantu samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ ki kaun sē mātā pitā key|kī mahimā hai . gānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tum[pn.pl.] māt[n.f.;sg.] pitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] . . . parantu[conj.] samajhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] ki[conj.] kaun[pn.;d.] sē[postp.] mātā[n.f.;sg.] pitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . sing[pres.pl.m.12hon3] you x father . . . however understand[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] that who from mother father (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) praise be[pres.sg.23] .
28Although people sing, “You are the Mother and Father”, they don’t understand which Mother and Father it is that they are praising.
29यह तो बहुतों की बात है ना . yah tō bahutō̃ key|kī bāt hai nā . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō bahut[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] nā . this then very (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) matter be[pres.sg.23] ∅ .
29This is said for many people.
30ईश्वर की सन्तान तो सभी हैं , परन्तु इस समय तो सभी दुःखी हैं . īśhvar key|kī santān tō sabhī haĩ , parantu is samay tō sabhī duḥkhī haĩ . īśhvar[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] santān[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō sab[adv.hī] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , parantu[conj.] is samay[x] tō sab[adv.hī] duḥkhnā[pres-perf.pl.f.12hon3] . God (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) child then all be[pres.pl.12hon3] , however at this time then all hurt[pres-perf.pl.f.12hon3] .
30Although they are all children of God, everyone is unhappy at this time.
31सुख घनेरे तो किसको नहीं हैं . sukh ghanērē tō kiskō nahī̃ haĩ . sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] ghanērā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] tō kaun[pn.sg.kō] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . happiness x then who[.kō] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
31No one has unlimited happiness.
32कृपा से तो सुख मिलना चाहिए . kr̥ipā sē tō sukh milnā chāhiē . kr̥ipā[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] tō sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] milnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|milnā[.oblig3] . mercy from then happiness (receive[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|receive[.oblig3]) .
32One receives happiness from blessings.
33अकृपा से दुःख होता है . akr̥ipā sē duḥkh hōtā hai . akr̥ipā[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] . x from (hurt[root]|sorrow) be[pres.sg.m.23] .
33When there are no blessings, there is sorrow.
34बाप तो कृपालु गाया हुआ है . bāp tō kr̥ipālu gāyā huā hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō kr̥ipālu[adj.] gānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . father then merciful sing[past-part.m.sg.d.] be[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
34The Father is praised as the Merciful One.

36अब तुम बच्चे जानते हो भक्ति मार्ग में गाते हैं तुम मात पिता . . . यह बिल्कुल यथार्थ है , परन्तु कोई बुद्धिवान होगा तो पूछेगा कि परमात्मा को तो गॉड फादर कहा जाता है , उनको फिर मदर कैसे कहते हैं ? ab tum bachchē jāntē hō bhakti mārg mē̃ gātē haĩ tum māt pitā . . . yah bilkul yathārth hai , parantu kōī buddhivān hōgā tō pūchhēgā ki paramātmā kō tō god father kahā jātā hai , unkō phir mother kaisē kahtē haĩ ? ab[adv.] tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] bhakti mārg[x] mē̃[postp.] gānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tum[pn.pl.] māt[n.f.;sg.] pitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] . . . yah[pn.sg.d.] bilkul[adv.] yathārth[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , parantu[conj.] kōī[pn.;d.] buddhivān[adj.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] tō pūchhnā[fut.m.sg.23] ki[conj.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] tō God Father[x] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] , vah[pn.pl.kō] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] mother kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ? now you child know[pres.pl.m.2] path of devotion in sing[pres.pl.m.12hon3] you x father . . . this at all x be[pres.sg.23] , however some wise be[fut.m.sg.23] then ask[fut.m.sg.23] that Supreme Soul to then x (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) , that[.kō] (then|turn[root]) mother how say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ? 37तो उनकी बुद्धि जगत अम्बा के तरफ जायेगी . tō unkī buddhi jagat ambā K|kē taraph jāyēgī . tō vah[pn.pl.kī] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] jagat[n.m.;sg.,d.] ambā[n.f.;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] taraph[n.m.;sg.,d.] jānā[fut.f.sg.23] . then that[.kī] intellect world mother (K|of) direction go[fut.f.sg.23] .
36You children understand that, on the path of devotion, they sing, “You are the Mother and Father”. 37This is absolutely accurate. 38However, if someone is clever, he would ask that, if the Supreme Soul is called God, the Father, how could He then be called the Mother?
38जब जगत अम्बा की तरफ बुद्धि जाती है तो फिर जगत पिता के तरफ भी बुद्धि जानी चाहिए . jab jagat ambā key|kī taraph buddhi jātī hai tō phir jagat pitā K|kē taraph bhī buddhi jānī chāhiē . jab jagat[n.m.;sg.,d.] ambā[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] taraph[n.m.;sg.,d.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] jānā[pres.sg.f.23] tō phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] jagat[n.m.;sg.,d.] pitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] taraph[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] jānnā[imp.pl.2hon.past-part+cāhnā]|jānā[.oblig3] . when world mother (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) direction intellect go[pres.sg.f.23] then (then|turn[root]) world father (K|of) direction too intellect (know[imp.pl.2hon.past-part+cāhnā]|go[.oblig3]) .
39Their intellects go to Jagadamba (World Mother), and so their intellects also should go to Jagadpita (World Father).
39अब ब्रह्मा सरस्वती यह कोई भगवान तो नहीं हैं . ab brahmā sarasvatī yah kōī bhagvān tō nahī̃ haĩ . ab[adv.] brahmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] sarasvatī[x] yah[pn.sg.d.] kōī[pn.;d.] bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . now Brahma Saraswati this some God then not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
40Brahma and Saraswati are not a god and goddess.
40यह महिमा उनकी हो नहीं सकती . yah mahimā unkī hō nahī̃ saktī . yah[pn.sg.d.] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] vah[pn.pl.kī] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.f.] . this praise that[.kī] (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) not can[pres-part.f.] .
41This praise cannot be given to them.
41उनके आगे भी माता-पिता कहना राँग है . unkē āgē bhī mātā-pitā kahnā wrong hai . vah[pn.pl.kē] āgē bhī[p.] māt-pitā, mātā-pitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[inf.m.sg.d.] wrong hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that[.kē] previously too mother and Father say[inf.m.sg.d.] x be[pres.sg.23] .
42It is wrong to call them the Mother and Father.

52Although the intellects of some are drawn to Jagadamba and they also hold fairs in her name, no one understands her occupation.

53You understand that, according to the law, your true mother is this Brahma.

64दुःख किसको नहीं देना है . duḥkh kiskō nahī̃ dēnā hai . duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] kaun[pn.sg.kō] nahī̃[neg] dēnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . (hurt[root]|sorrow) who[.kō] not give[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .

61Storms will definitely enter your mind, but you must not put them into action.

89A good businessman is one who follows shrimat and follows the Mother and Father completely and never causes sorrow for anyone.
