213There used to be a custom in Bengal, that when someone was about to leave his body, he would quickly be taken to the Ganges. 214There, he would be placed in the water and told to say “Hari, Hari” (to chant the name of God), as they continued to pour the water of the Ganges down his throat. 215In that way they would force the life out of his body. 216It was a wonder!
