53You did not have this knowledge but you performed many types of devotion.

52आधाकल्प भक्ति की है , द्वापर से लेकर भक्ति शुरू होती है . ādhākalp bhakti kī hai , dvāpar sē lēkar bhakti śhurū hōtī hai . ādhākalp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhakti[n.f.;sg.] karnā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] , dvāpar sē[postp.] lēnā[abs.] bhakti[n.f.;sg.] śhurū hōnā[pres.sg.f.23] . for half a cycle devotion do[pres-perf.sg.f.23] , copper age from take[abs.] devotion x . 53रावणराज्य भी शुरू हुआ है . rāvaṇrājya bhī śhurū huā hai . rāvaṇ rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] śhurū hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . kingdom of Ravan too x .

54You performed devotion for half a cycle. 55The path of devotion began in the copper age and the kingdom of Ravan also began then.

54यह है बहुत सहज बात . yah hai bahut sahaj bāt . yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] bahut sahaj[adj.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] . this be[pres.sg.23] very easy matter . 55परन्तु इतनी सहज बात भी कोई मुश्किल समझते हैं . parantu itnī sahaj bāt bhī kōī muśhkil samajhtē haĩ . parantu[conj.] itnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sahaj[adj.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] kōī[pn.;d.] muśhkil[adj.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . however such easy matter too some difficult understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

56This is a very easy aspect and yet people find it difficult to understand this easy thing.

śhurū hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] , yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] kōī[pn.;d.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . kingdom of Ravan when from x , this too some not know[pres-part.m.sg.d.] .

57No one knows when the kingdom of Ravan began.

57तुम मीठे बच्चे जानते हो - बाप ही ज्ञान का सागर है . tum mīṭhē bachchē jāntē hō - bāp hī gyān kā sāgar hai . tum[pn.pl.] mīṭhē bachchē[x] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] - bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] gyān kā sāgar[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . you sweet children know[pres.pl.m.2] - father only x be[pres.sg.23] .

58You sweet children know that the Father alone is the Ocean of Knowledge.

58जो उनके पास है वह आकर बच्चों को देते हैं . jō unkē pās|pass hai vah ākar bachchō̃ kō dētē haĩ . jō[pn.;d.] vah[pn.pl.kē] pās|pass hōnā[pres.sg.23] vah[pn.sg.d.] ānā[abs.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] dēnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . that that[.kē] (x|pass) be[pres.sg.23] that come[abs.] child to give[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

59He comes and gives you children what He has.

59शास्त्र तो हैं भक्ति मार्ग के . śhāstra tō haĩ bhakti mārg kē|K . śhāstra[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] bhakti mārg[x] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K . scripture then be[pres.pl.12hon3] path of devotion (of|K) .

60The scriptures belong to the path of devotion.

, bhakti[n.f.;sg.] aur phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] hōnā[pres.sg.23] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] . now you understand[pres-perf.pl.m.2.root+jānā] - knowledge , devotion and (then|turn[root]) be[pres.sg.23] disinterest . 61यह 3 मुख्य हैं . yah 3 mukhya haĩ . yah[pn.sg.d.] 3 mukhya[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . this 3 main be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

61You have now come to know that there is this knowledge, devotion and then disinterest: these are the three main things.

62संन्यासी लोग भी जानते हैं - ज्ञान भक्ति और वैराग्य . sannyāsī lōg bhī jāntē haĩ - gyān bhakti aur vairāgya . sannyāsī[n.m.;sg.,d.] log[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhakti[n.f.;sg.] aur vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] . sannyasi people too know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - knowledge devotion and disinterest . 63परन्तु संन्यासियों का है अपना हद का वैराग्य . parantu sannyāsiyō̃ kā hai apnā had kā vairāgya . parantu[conj.] sannyāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.]|apnānā[root] had[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] . however sannyasi of be[pres.sg.23] (one’s own|adopt[root]) x of disinterest .

62Sannyasis also know about knowledge, devotion and disinterest, but the disinterest of sannyasis is limited.

64वह बेहद का वैराग्य सिखला न सकें . vah bēhad kā vairāgya sikhlā na sakē̃ . vah[pn.sg.d.] bēhad kā[x] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] sikhlānā[root] na[neg] saknā[opt.pl.12hon3] . that unlimited disinterest teach[root] not can[opt.pl.12hon3] .

63They cannot teach unlimited disinterest.

65दो प्रकार के वैराग्य हैं - एक है हद का , दूसरा है बेहद का . dō prakār kē|K vairāgya haĩ - ēk hai had kā , dūsrā hai bēhad kā . dēnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|dō[adj.] prakār[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] - ēk[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] had[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] , dūsrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] bēhad kā[x] . (give[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|two) form (of|K) disinterest be[pres.pl.12hon3] - one be[pres.sg.23] x of , other be[pres.sg.23] unlimited .

64There are two types of disinterest: one is limited and the other is unlimited.

66वह है हठयोगी संन्यासियों का वैराग्य . vah hai haṭhyōgī sannyāsiyō̃ kā vairāgya . vah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] haṭhyōgī[adj.] sannyāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] . that be[pres.sg.23] x sannyasi of disinterest . 67यह है बेहद का . yah hai bēhad kā . yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] bēhad kā[x] . this be[pres.sg.23] unlimited .

65One is the disinterest of the hatha yogi sannyasis and the other is unlimited disinterest.

68तुम्हारा है राजयोग , वह घरबार छोड़ जंगल में चले जाते हैं तो उन्हों का नाम ही पड़ जाता है संन्यासी . tumhārā hai rājyōg , vah gharbār chhōṛ jaṅgal mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ tō unhō̃ kā nām hī paṛ jātā hai sannyāsī . tum[pn.pl.kā] hōnā[pres.sg.23] rājyōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] , vah[pn.sg.d.] gharbār[n.m.;sg.,d.] chhōṛnā[root] jaṅgal[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive] tō vah[pn.pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] paṛnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] sannyāsī[n.m.;sg.,d.] . you[.kā] be[pres.sg.23] Raja Yoga , that x renounce[root] jungle in (continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive]) then that of name only fall[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] sannyasi .

66Yours is Raja Yoga, whereas they are called sannyasis who renounce their homes and businesses and go and live in forests.

69हठयोगी घरबार छोड़ते हैं पवित्र रहने के लिए . haṭhyōgī gharbār chhōṛtē haĩ pavitra rahnē kē liē . haṭhyōgī[adj.] gharbār[n.m.;sg.,d.] chhōṛnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] pavitr[adj.] rahnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kē liē[x] . x x renounce[pres.pl.m.12hon3] pure remain[inf.m.pl.,o.] for .

67Those hatha yogis renounce their homes and businesses in order to remain pure.

70यह भी है अच्छा . yah bhī hai achchhā . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] . this too be[pres.sg.23] achcha .

68That too is good.

71बाप कहते हैं - भारत तो बहुत पवित्र था . bāp kahtē haĩ - bhārat tō bahut pavitra thā . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] - bhārat[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō bahut pavitr[adj.] hōnā[past.m.sg] . the Father says - Bharat then very pure be[past.m.sg] .

69The Father says: Bharat used to be very pure.

72इतना पवित्र खण्ड और कोई होता नहीं . itnā pavitra khaṇḍ aur kōī hōtā nahī̃ . itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pavitr[adj.] khaṇḍ[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur kōī[x] hōnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] . such pure land someone else be[pres-part.m.sg.d.] not .

70There is no other land as pure as this one was.

73भारत की तो बहुत ऊंची महिमा है जो भारतवासी खुद नहीं जानते हैं . bhārat kī|key tō bahut ūñchī mahimā hai jō bhāratvāsī khud nahī̃ jāntē haĩ . bhārat[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key tō bahut ūñch[adj.ā=>ī;f.] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] jō[pn.;d.] bhāratvāsī[adj.] khud nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . Bharat (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) then very elevated praise be[pres.sg.23] that people of Bharat oneself not know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

71The praise of Bharat is very elevated. 72The people of Bharat do not know this themselves.

74बाप को भूलने कारण सब कुछ भूल जाते हैं अर्थात् नास्तिक निधनके बन पड़ते हैं . bāp kō bhūlnē kāraṇ sab kuchh bhūl jātē haĩ arthāt nāstik nidhankē ban paṛtē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] bhūlnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kāraṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] sab kuchh[x] bhūl jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] arthāt nāstik[adj.] nidhankē bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] . father to forget[inf.m.pl.,o.] because everything x[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that is atheist orphan become[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] .

73Because of forgetting the Father, you forgot everything, that is, you became atheists and orphans.

75सतयुग में कितनी सुख-शान्ति थी . satyug mē̃ kitnī sukh-śhānti thī . satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sukh-śhānti[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[past.f] . golden age in so happiness and peace be[past.f] .

74There was so much peace and happiness in the golden age.

76अभी कितनी दुःख-अशान्ति है  ! abhī kitnī duḥkh-aśhānti hai  ! ab[adv.hī] kitnā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] duḥkh-aśhānti[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23]  ! now so sorrow and peacelessness be[pres.sg.23]  !

75Now there is so much peacelessness and sorrow.

174Ravan is portrayed with a donkey’s head.

175बाबा ने यह भी समझाया है - स्कूल में कब ऑखें बन्द करके नहीं बैठना होता है . bābā nē yah bhī samjhāyā hai - school mē̃ kab ôkhē̃ band karkē nahī̃ baiṭhnā hōtā hai . bābā nē[postp.] yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] samjhānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] - school mē̃[postp.] kab āṅkh[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] band[adj.] karnā[abs.] nahī̃[neg] baiṭhnā[pres.sg.m.23.oblig1] . 176On the path of devotion, people are taught to remember God; they are told to sit with their eyes closed.

177यहाँ तो बाप कहते हैं यह स्कूल है . yahā̃ tō bāp kahtē haĩ yah school hai . yahā̃ tō bāp kahtē haĩ[x] yah[pn.sg.d.] school hōnā[pres.sg.23] . here then the Father says this school be[pres.sg.23] .

177Here, the Father says: This is a school.

178You have heard that God takes souls beyond with a glance. 179People say that this one is a magician.

179अरे , वह तो गायन भी है . arē , vah tō gāyan bhī hai . arē , vah[pn.sg.d.] tō gāyan[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . Oh! , that then x too be[pres.sg.23] .

182The deities were also taken beyond with a glance.
