41When you do sit down to write it, you have to check whether you stayed in remembrance for two hours.

38फिर वह भी उन्हों को मालूम पड़ता है , जो बाप की श्रीमत को अमल में लाते हैं . phir vah bhī unhō̃ kō mālūm paṛtā hai , jō bāp kī|key śhrīmat kō amal mē̃ lātē haĩ . phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] vah[pn.pl.o.] kō[postp.] mālūm[adj.] paṛnā[pres.sg.m.23] , jō[pn.;d.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] amal[n.m.;sg.,d.]|amal[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] lānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . 42Then, it can also be seen whether you are following the Father’s shrimat by putting it into practice.

39बाप तो समझेंगे इन बिचारों को लज्जा आती होगी . bāp tō samajhē̃gē in bichārō̃ kō lajjā ātī hōgī . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō samajhnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] yah[pn.pl.o.]|in bichārā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] lajjā[n.f.;sg.] ānā[pres-part.f.] hōnā[fut.f.sg.23] . father then understand[fut.m.pl.12hon3] (this|in) poor people to shame come[pres-part.f.] be[fut.f.sg.23] .

43The Father would understand that, perhaps, such poor, hopeless children are ashamed.

40नहीं तो श्रीमत अमल में लानी चाहिए . nahī̃ tō śhrīmat amal mē̃ lānī chāhiē . nahī̃ tō[x] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] amal[n.m.;sg.,d.]|amal[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] lānā[.oblig3] . otherwise shrimat (x) in x[.oblig3] .

44Otherwise, shrimat would be put into practice.

45However, hardly two per cent write their charts.

42बच्चों को श्रीमत का इतना रिगार्ड नहीं है . bachchō̃ kō śhrīmat kā itnā regard nahī̃ hai . bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] regard nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . child to shrimat of such regard not be[pres.sg.23] .

46Some children don't have that much regard for shrimat.

43मुरली मिलते हुए भी पढ़ते नहीं हैं . murlī miltē huē bhī paṛhtē nahī̃ haĩ . murlī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] milnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] bhī[p.] paṛhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . flute receive[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] be[past-part.m.pl.,o.] too study[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

48Their hearts must definitely be pinching them that Baba really is speaking the truth. 49If I don't study the murli, what can I explain to others?

45 ( याद की यात्रा ) ओम् शान्ति . ( yād kī yātrā ) ōm śhānti . ( yād karnā[past-part.f.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] ) ōm śhānti[x] . ( remember pilgrimage ) Om Shanti .

60It is only because you yourselves say that you forget that the Father explains this. 61That is why you come here and revise it.

71In worldly studies, some students are children of important people and so they are taught privately.

65टीचर जानते हैं कि यह डल है इसलिए उनको स्कालरशिप लायक बनाते हैं . teacher jāntē haĩ ki yah dull hai isliē unkō scholarship lāyak banātē haĩ . teacher jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] dull hōnā[pres.sg.23] isliē vah[pn.pl.kō] scholarship lāyak[x] banānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . teacher know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that this dull be[pres.sg.23] therefore that[.kō] scholarship worthy create[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

72Their teacher can understand that someone is a dull student and that he would therefore make him worthy of claiming a scholarship.

66यह बाप ऐसे नहीं करते हैं . yah bāp aisē nahī̃ kartē haĩ . yah[pn.sg.d.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] aisē nahī̃[x] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . this father it isn't that do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

77To help someone make extra effort means that his teacher would have special mercy for him, although the teacher might be paid to make special time for teaching the student through which he could become clever.

72यहाँ तो जास्ती कुछ पढ़ने की बात है ही नहीं . yahā̃ tō jāstī kuchh paṛhnē kī|key bāt hai hī nahī̃ . yahā̃ tō jāstī kuchh paṛhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key bāt[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] . here then more anything study[inf.m.pl.,o.] (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) matter be[pres.sg.23] only not . 73इनकी तो बात ही नई है . inkī tō bāt hī naī hai . yah[pn.pl.kī] tō bāt[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] nayā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this[.kī] then matter only new be[pres.sg.23] .

99Just as they celebrate all the festivals, so they consider a pilgrimage to be a festival too.

93अभी तुम याद की यात्रा भी एक त्योहार समझते हो . abhī tum yād kī yātrā bhī ēk tyōhār samajhtē hō . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.] yād karnā[past-part.f.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] ēk[adj.] tyōhār[n.m.;sg.,d.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.2] . now you remember pilgrimage too one x understand[pres.pl.m.2] .

105However, you have the knowledge to tell them that you go on this pilgrimage every cycle.

99बाप ही आकर यह यात्रा सिखलाते हैं . bāp hī ākar yah yātrā sikhlātē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] ānā[abs.] yah[pn.sg.d.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] sikhlānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . father only come[abs.] this pilgrimage teach[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

106Only the Father comes and teaches you this pilgrimage.

100वह चारों धाम जन्म बाय जन्म यात्रा करते हैं . vah chārō̃ dhām janm by|bye janm yātrā kartē haĩ . vah[pn.sg.d.] chārō̃ dhām[n.m.;sg.,d.] janm[n.m.;sg.,d.]|janamnā[root] by|bye janm[n.m.;sg.,d.]|janamnā[root] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . that x land (life|be born[root]) (by|x) (life|be born[root]) pilgrimage do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

107They go on pilgrimage to the four main pilgrimage places for birth after birth.

101यह तो बेहद का बाप कहते हैं - मुझे याद करो तो तुम पावन बन जायेंगे . yah tō bēhad kā bāp kahtē haĩ - mujhē yād karō tō tum pāvan ban jāyēṅgē . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō bēhad kā bāp[x] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - mujhē yād karō[x] tō tum[pn.pl.] pāvan[adj.] bannā[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] . this then unlimited Father say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - remember Me then you pure become[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] .

108The unlimited Father says: Remember Me and you will become pure.

102ऐसे तो और कोई कभी नहीं कहते कि यात्रा से तुम पावन बनेंगे . aisē tō aur kōī kabhī nahī̃ kahtē ki yātrā sē tum pāvan banē̃gē . aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] tō aur kōī[x] kabhī[adv.] nahī̃[neg] kahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] ki[conj.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] tum[pn.pl.] pāvan[adj.] bannā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . such then someone else ever not say[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] that pilgrimage from you pure become[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

109No one else can say that you can become pure by going on a pilgrimage.

103मनुष्य यात्रा पर जाते हैं तो वह उस समय पावन रहते हैं , आजकल तो वहाँ भी गन्द लगा पड़ा है , पावन नहीं रहते . manuṣhya yātrā par jātē haĩ tō vah us samay pāvan rahtē haĩ , ājkal tō vahā̃ bhī ganda lagā paṛā hai , pāvan nahī̃ rahtē . manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō vah[pn.sg.d.] vah[pn.sg.o.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] pāvan[adj.] rahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , ājkal tō vahā̃ bhī[p.] gand[n.f.;sg.] lagnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+paṛnā]|lagānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+paṛnā] , pāvan[adj.] nahī̃[neg] rahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . human being pilgrimage (at|other) go[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then that that time pure remain[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , nowadays then there too x (x[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+paṛnā]|attach[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+paṛnā]) , pure not remain[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

110When people go on a pilgrimage, they remain pure at that time. 111Nowadays, everything there is so dirty. 112They don't remain pure.

104इस रूहानी यात्रा का तो किसको पता नहीं है . is rūhānī yātrā kā tō kiskō patā nahī̃ hai . yah[pn.sg.o.] rūhānī[adj.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] tō kaun[pn.sg.kō] patā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this spiritual pilgrimage of then who[.kō] knowledge not be[pres.sg.23] .

113No one knows about this spiritual pilgrimage.

105तुमको अभी बाप ने बताया है - यह याद की यात्रा है सच्ची . tumkō abhī bāp nē batāyā hai - yah yād kī yātrā hai sachchī . tum[pn.pl.kō] ab[adv.hī] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] batānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] - yah[pn.sg.d.] yād karnā[past-part.f.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] sachchā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] . you[.kō] now father ∅ tell[pres-perf.sg.m.23] - this remember pilgrimage be[pres.sg.23] true .

106वह यात्रा का चक्र लगाने जाते हैं फिर भी वैसे का वैसा बन जाते हैं . vah yātrā kā chakra lagānē jātē haĩ phir bhī vaisē kā vaisā ban jātē haĩ . vah[pn.sg.d.] yātrā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] chakra, chakkar[n.m.;sg.,d.]|chakra[n.m.;sg.,d.] lagānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] phir bhī[x] vaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vaisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] . that pilgrimage of (cycle|x) attach[inf.m.pl.,o.] go[pres.pl.m.12hon3] nevertheless x of x become[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] .

115Those people go on a pilgrimage and then, when they return, they become the same as they were.

107चक्र लगाते रहते हैं . chakra lagātē rahtē haĩ . chakra lagānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] . be around the cycle .

116They continue to go around and around.

108जैसे वास्कोडिगामा ने सृष्टि का चक्र लगाया . jaisē vāskōḍigāmā nē sr̥iṣhṭi kā chakra lagāyā . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] Vasco da Gama nē[postp.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] chakra lagānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] . like x ∅ world of be around the cycle . 109यह भी चक्र लगाते हैं ना . yah bhī chakra lagātē haĩ nā . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] chakra lagānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] nā . this too be around the cycle ∅ .

117Just as Vasco de Gama went around the world, so they also go around.

118There is the song: We went around everywhere and yet remained very far away from You.

111भक्तिमार्ग में तो कोई मिला नहीं सकते . bhaktimārg mē̃ tō kōī milā nahī̃ saktē . bhakti mārg[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] tō kōī[pn.;d.] milānā[root]|milnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . path of devotion in then some (x[root]|receive[past-part.m.sg.d.]) not can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

119No one on the path of devotion can enable you to attain Him.

112भगवान कोई को मिला नहीं . bhagvān kōī kō milā nahī̃ . bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kōī[pn.;d.] kō[postp.] milānā[root]|milnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] . 121They go on their pilgrimages and then, when they return home, they get trapped in the five vices.

122All of those pilgrimages are false.

116अभी तुम बच्चे जानते हो यह है पुरुषोत्तम संगमयुग , जबकि बाप आये हैं . abhī tum bachchē jāntē hō yah hai puruṣhōttam saṅgamyug , jabki bāp āyē haĩ . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] purūṣhōttam[n.m.;sg.,d.] saṅgamyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] , jabki bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] . now you child know[pres.pl.m.2] this be[pres.sg.23] the most elevated humans confluence age , x father come[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] .

126No one knows this.

120यह तो मीठे-मीठे बच्चे जानते हैं कि हम श्रीमत पर इस भारत को फिर से स्वर्ग बना रहे हैं . yah tō mīṭhē-mīṭhē bachchē jāntē haĩ ki ham śhrīmat par is bhārat kō phir sē svarg banā rahē haĩ . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō mīṭhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] yah[pn.sg.o.] bhārat[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] phir sē[x] svarg[n.m.;sg.,d.] banānā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] . this then sweet child know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that we shrimat (at|other) this Bharat to again heaven create[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] .

127You sweetest children understand that you are once again making Bharat into heaven by following shrimat.
