2All human beings speak of righteousness and irreligiousness, happiness and sorrow, knowledge and ignorance and right and wrong, but they are totally ignorant of what these things really mean.

3The Supreme Soul has to come to establish a religion and to destroy irreligiousness.

4Only the Supreme Soul can carry out the task of establishment and destruction.

5Since only the Supreme Soul can carry out thi,s task, He must also know about religion and irreligiousness, knowledge and ignorance.

10Because we did not know what those really elevated actions were, we became separated and fell.
13परमात्मा ने आकर के श्रेष्ठ कर्म करना सिखाया है . paramātmā nē ākar kē|K śhrēṣhṭh karma karnā sikhāyā hai . paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] ānā[abs.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K śhrēṣhṭha[adj.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] sikhānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . 11The Supreme Soul came and taught us how to perform elevated action.
14सारी सृष्टि पर धर्म स्थापना कर अधर्म विनाश किया , वह भी कर्म से ना . sārī sr̥iṣhṭi par dharm sthāpanā kar adharm vināśh kiyā , vah bhī karma sē nā . sārā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] dharm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sthāpanā, sthāpan[n.f.;sg.] karnā[root] adharm[n.m.;sg.,d.] vināśh[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] , vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] nā . the whole world (at|other) religion establishment do[root] irreligiousness destruction do[past-part.m.sg.d.] , that too deed from ∅ .
12He established religion throughout the entire world and destroyed irreligiousness. 13He did that by performing action.
15और वही कर्म स्थापना किये जिससे सारी सृष्टि पवित्र-सुख-शानतिमय बनी . aur vahī karma sthāpanā kiyē jissē sārī sr̥iṣhṭi pavitr-sukh-śhānatimay banī . aur vahī karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sthāpanā, sthāpan[n.f.;sg.] karnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] jō[pn.sg.sē] sārā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] pavitratā-sukh-śhāntimay[adj.] bannā[past-part.f.] . and this deed establishment do[past-part.m.pl.,o.] that[.sē] the whole world x become[past-part.f.] .
14He established a religion through which the entire world became peaceful, pure and happy.

21अगर मुक्ति श्रेष्ठ होती तो परमात्मा कर्मयोग को श्रेष्ठ क्यों रखता ? agar mukti śhrēṣhṭh hōtī tō paramātmā karmyōg kō śhrēṣhṭh kyō̃ rakhtā ? agar mukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] śhrēṣhṭha[adj.] hōnā[pres-part.f.] tō paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] karmyōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] śhrēṣhṭha[adj.] kyō̃ rakhnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] ? if liberation elevated be[pres-part.f.] then Supreme Soul karma yoga to elevated why keep[pres-part.m.sg.d.] ?
20If liberation were elevated why would the Supreme Soul give more importance to karma?
22फिर तो कहते – कर्म-अकर्म से जो न्यारी चीज़ है वही प्राप्त करनी चाहिए . phir tō kahtē – karm-akarm sē jō nyārī chīz hai vahī prāpt karnī chāhiē . phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] tō kahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] – karm-akarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] jō[pn.;d.] nyārā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] chīz[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] vahī prāpt karnā[.oblig3] . 21If He did, then He would say: You should attain that which is beyond karma and akarma.
23परमात्मा ने तो राजयोग सिद्ध किया है . paramātmā nē tō rājyōg siddh kiyā hai . paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] tō rājyōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] siddh karnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . Supreme Soul ∅ then Raja Yoga justify[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .

24What kind of family should there be in this creation and through which there can be purity, happiness and peace?
26' पवित्रता ' शब्द ही कर्मयोग के साथ तालुक रखता है . ' pavitratā ' śhabda hī karmyōg kē sāth tāluk rakhtā hai . ' pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] ' śhabd[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] karmyōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] kē sāth[x] tāluk[n.m.;sg.,d.] rakhnā[pres.sg.m.23] . ' purity ' word only karma yoga with connection keep[pres.sg.m.23] .

28वहाँ तो न पवित्रता है , न अपवित्रता है . vahā̃ tō na pavitratā hai , na apavitratā hai . vahā̃ tō na[neg] pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , na[neg] apavitratā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . there then not purity be[pres.sg.23] , not impurity be[pres.sg.23] .
27There, there is neither purity nor impurity.
28The words "karma yoga" and "pure karma" apply to human beings.

30Karma yoga and family life refer to the human world.
31बाकी मुक्त तो सब होंगे ही . bākī mukt tō sab hōṅgē hī . bākī|bākī mukt[adj.] tō sab[adj.] hōnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] hī[p.] . (but|others) free then all be[fut.m.pl.12hon3] only .
31However, everyone will be liberated.
32परमात्मा ने मनुष्यों को ही समझाया है कि कैसे पवित्र , अपवित्र बने हैं ? paramātmā nē manuṣhyō̃ kō hī samjhāyā hai ki kaisē pavitra , apavitr banē haĩ ? paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] manuṣhya[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] samjhānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] ki[conj.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] pavitr[adj.] , apavitr[adj.] bannā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] ? Supreme Soul ∅ human being to only explain[pres-perf.sg.m.23] that how pure , impure become[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] ?
32God has explained only to human beings how those who were pure became impure.

42This is the last birth.

57People think that the human world will continue to expand in the same way as it has done.

58But God says: I create the pure world and I also give to you the reward of it at this time.

(turn[root]|then) this question not wake up[fut.m.sg.23] that world (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) growth how be[fut.f.sg.23] , world pure how remain[fut.f.sg.23] ?
67At that time, there will be no question of how the world population can increase or how they can remain pure.
68वह तो रचयिता ही जानते हैं ना . vah tō rachayitā hī jāntē haĩ nā . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō rachayitā[x] hī[p.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] nā . that then Creator only know[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ∅ .

72The intellects of the people of the world cannot even imagine that such a world can be created.
73बाप समझते हैं — मेरी सृष्टि ही पवित्र है . bāp samajhtē haĩ — mērī sr̥iṣhṭi hī pavitra hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] — maĩ[pn.sg.kī] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] pavitr[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . father understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] — I[.kī] world only pure be[pres.sg.23] .

75An impure intellect cannot understand how a pure world can continue.

80The karmic accounts of sorrow pull them towards sorrow, whereas the karmic accounts of happiness pull them towards happiness.
