10Nevertheless, whilst having such a golden chance, you bring the unlimited attainment into limitations numberwise.
13बाप भी बेहद का , वर्सा भी बेहद का , अधिकार भी बेहद का लेकिन लेने वाले नम्बरवार बन जाते हैं - ऐसा क्यों ? bāp bhī bēhad kā , varsā bhī bēhad kā , adhikār bhī bēhad kā lēkin lēnē vālē number-vār ban jātē haĩ - aisā kyō̃ ? bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] bēhad kā[x] , varsā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] bhī[p.] bēhad kā[x] , adhikār[x] bhī[p.] bēhad kā[x] lēkin lēnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] number-wār bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] - aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kyō̃ ? father too unlimited , inheritance too unlimited , right too unlimited but take[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who numberwise become[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] - such why ?
11The Father is unlimited, the inheritance is unlimited, the rights are unlimited, but those who are receiving become numberwise: why is this?
14इसके संक्षेप में दो कारण हैं . iskē saṅkṣhēp mē̃ dō kāraṇ haĩ . yah[pn.sg.kē] saṅkṣhēp mē̃[x] dēnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|dō[adj.] kāraṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . this[.kē] x (give[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|two) because be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
12In essence, there are two reasons for this.
15एक बुद्धि में स्वच्छता नहीं , क्लीयर नहीं . ēk buddhi mē̃ svachchhatā nahī̃ , clear nahī̃ . ēk[adj.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] svachchhatā[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] , clear nahī̃[neg] . one intellect in cleanliness not , x not .
131. There isn’t cleanliness in the intellect; it is not clear.
16दूसरा हर कदम में सावधान नहीं अर्थात् केयरफुल नहीं . dūsrā har|her kadam mē̃ sāvdhān nahī̃ arthāt careful nahī̃ . dūsrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] harnā[root]|har|her kadam[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] sāvdhān[adj.] nahī̃[neg] arthāt careful nahī̃[neg] . other (x[root]|x) step in cautious not that is careful not .
142. You are not cautious in every action, that is, you are not careful.

15You become numberwise because of these two reasons.
18मुख्य बात स्वच्छता की है . mukhya bāt svachchhatā kī hai . mukhya[adj.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] svachchhatā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] . main matter cleanliness do[pres-perf.sg.f.23] .
16The main thing is cleanliness.

17This is called purity or victory over the first vice.
20जब ब्राह्मण जीवन अपनाई तो ब्राह्मण जीवन का मुख्य आधार कहो , नवीनता कहो , अलौकिकता कहो , जीवन का श्रृंगार कहो , वह है ही शृंगार - पवित्रता . jab brāhmaṇ jīvan apnāī tō brāhmaṇ jīvan kā mukhya ādhār kahō , navīntā kahō , alaukiktā kahō , jīvan kā śhrr̥iṅgār kahō , vah hai hī śr̥ṅgār - pavitratā . jab brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] apnānā[past-part.f.] tō brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mukhya[adj.] ādhār[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , navīntā[n.f.;sg.] kahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , alaukiktā[n.f.;sg.] kahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] śhrr̥iṅgār[n.m.;sg.,d.]|śhrr̥iṅgārnā[root] kahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , vah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] x - pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] . when Brahmin life adopt[past-part.f.] then Brahmin life of main basis say[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , newness say[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , x say[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , life of (decoration|decorate[root]) say[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , that be[pres.sg.23] only x - purity .
18Since you have adopted Brahmin life, then whether you call it the main basis, newness, spirituality, or the decoration of life, it is purity.
21ब्राह्मण जीवन की चैलेन्ज ही है काम-जीत . brāhmaṇ jīvan key|kī challenge hī hai kām-jīt . brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] challenge hī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] x . Brahmin life (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) challenge only be[pres.sg.23] x .
19The challenge in Brahmin life is to become a conqueror of lust.

21Just as the sign of worldly brahmins is their top-knot and their sacred thread so, the sign of true Brahmins is purity and their code of conduct.
