148बाप कहते हैं - उस समय यह बताने का पार्ट ही नहीं था . bāp kahtē haĩ - us samay yah batānē kā part hī nahī̃ thā . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] - vah[pn.sg.o.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] yah[pn.sg.d.] batānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] part[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[past.m.sg] . the Father says - that time this tell[inf.m.pl.,o.] of part only not be[past.m.sg] .

155The Father says: It wasn’t in the part to tell you this at that time.

158If anyone asks such questions, you can tell them: OK, we will ask Baba or we will write to a senior teacher and ask her. 159If Baba wanted to tell you, He would have done so.

152बाबा को बताना होगा तो बतायेंगे वा तो कहेंगे आगे चल समझ लेंगे . bābā kō batānā hōgā tō batāyēṅgē vā tō kahē̃gē āgē chal samajh lē̃gē . bābā kō[postp.] batānā[fut.m.sg.23.oblig1] tō batānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] vā tō kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] āgē chalnā[root] samajhnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+lēnā] . 163The Father sits here and tells you the essence of what is in the Vedas and scriptures.

156यह भी भक्ति मार्ग की नूँध है , फिर भी तुमको पढ़ने ही होंगे . yah bhī bhakti mārg kī|key nūndh hai , phir bhī tumkō paṛhnē hī hōṅgē . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] bhakti mārg[x] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key nūndh[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , phir bhī[x] tum[pn.pl.kō] paṛhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] hī[p.] hōnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . this too path of devotion (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) fixed be[pres.sg.23] , nevertheless you[.kō] study[inf.m.pl.,o.] only be[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

164Those too are fixed on the path of devotion. 165You will still have to study them again.

157यह भक्ति का पार्ट बजाना ही होगा . yah bhakti kā part bajānā hī hōgā . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhakti[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] part bajānā[x] hī[p.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] . this devotion of play one's part only be[fut.m.sg.23] .

166That part of devotion has to be played.

158पतित बनने का भी पार्ट बजाना है . patit bannē kā bhī part bajānā hai . patit[adj.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] part bajānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . impure become[inf.m.pl.,o.] of too play one's part .

167The part of becoming impure too has to be played.

159कहते हैं भक्ति के दुबन में फँस गये हैं . kahtē haĩ bhakti kē|K duban mē̃ phans gayē haĩ . kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] bhakti[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K duban mē̃[postp.] phansnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] . say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] devotion (of|K) quicksand in be trapped[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] .

168They say that they have got trapped in the bog of devotion.

160बाहर से तो खूबसूरती बहुत है . bāhar sē tō khūbsūrtī bahut hai . bāhar sē[postp.] tō ḵẖūbsūrtī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] bahut hōnā[pres.sg.23] . outside from then beauty very be[pres.sg.23] .

169Externally, there is a lot of beauty.

172The Father says: It is like a mirage.

163बाप कहते हैं यह रूण्य का पानी है . bāp kahtē haĩ yah rūṇya kā pānī hai . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] yah[pn.sg.d.] rūṇya kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . the Father says this x of x[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . 164 ( मृगतृष्णा समान ) इस दुबन में फँस जाते हैं . ( x equal ) this quicksand in be trapped[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] .

173They get trapped in that bog. 174It then becomes difficult for them to get out of it; they get completely trapped in it.

165फिर निकलना ही मुश्किल हो जाता है , एकदम फँस पड़ते हैं . phir nikalnā hī muśhkil hō jātā hai , ēkdam phans paṛtē haĩ . phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] nikalnā[inf.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] muśhkil[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] , ēkdam phansnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] . 175They go to pull others out of it and they themselves get trapped.

166जाते हैं औरों को निकालने फिर खुद ही फँस पड़ते हैं . jātē haĩ aurō̃ kō nikālnē phir khud hī phans paṛtē haĩ . jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] aurō̃ kō[postp.] nikālnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] khud hī[p.] phansnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] . go[pres.pl.m.12hon3] others to x[inf.m.pl.,o.] (turn[root]|then) oneself only be trapped[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] .

176Many have got trapped in this way. 177There are those who were when they heard this knowledge.

167ऐसे बहुत फँस पड़े . aisē bahut phans paṛē . aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bahut phansnā[opt.sg.23.root+paṛnā] . such very be trapped[opt.sg.23.root+paṛnā] . 168आश्चर्यवत सुनन्ती , कथन्ती औरों को निकालवन्ती , चलते-चलते फिर खुद फँस पड़ते हैं . āśhcharyavat sunantī , kathantī aurō̃ kō nikālavantī , chaltē-chaltē phir khud phans paṛtē haĩ . āśhcharyavat[adj.] sunnā , kathā aurō̃ kō[postp.] x , chalnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] khud phansnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] . amazed listen , story others to x , continue[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] (turn[root]|then) oneself be trapped[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] .

178They listened to it and related it to others and pulled others out of the quicksand. 179However, then, while moving along, they got trapped themselves.

169कितने अच्छे-अच्छे फर्स्टक्लास थे . kitnē achchhē-achchhē first class thē . kitnā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] first class hōnā[past.pl] . so achcha first class be[past.pl] .

180They were such first-class, good children!

170फिर उनको निकलना बड़ा मुश्किल हो जाता है . phir unkō nikalnā baṛā muśhkil hō jātā hai . phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] vah[pn.pl.kō] nikalnā[inf.m.sg.d.] baṛā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] muśhkil[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . (turn[root]|then) that[.kō] be extracted[inf.m.sg.d.] very difficult be[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] .

181It then becomes very difficult to help them get out.
